-Cool crunch contest to kick off NXT. Riley winning was good I suppose. Don't care for crunches, just want to see the challenge winner and contest choice. Riley vs. Morrison should be nice. -Miz and Curtis over Marella and Skip was the right call. The World Heavyweight Champion should be on the winning side alot there. -Watson and Young going over is different. But I really like the call. -Morrison over Riley is great considering Morrison is a past World Champ and more expirienced. -Good NXT; looking forward to next week.

Matt Hardy Not Renewing Contract? Reports are indicating that Matt Hardy has not renewed his contract with the WWE. His contract is set to expire at the end of September, so anything can happen between then and now. It can be assumed that the current role he is playing on the Raw roster may lead to his kayfabe quitting out of frustration. However, it is unknown at this point what the plans are with Matt Hardy.

NXT was solid. The pairing of the rookies and pros fit perfectly, IMO. Santino and Skip make a hilarious pair. Glad to see Miz and Curtis pick up the win in the opener. Surprised Otunga and Steamboat lost Great Main Event with Riley and Morrison. I really think Riley has a lot of potential. Overall a solid show.

I absolutely love the NXT pairings, especially Chris Jericho and Richie Steamboat. It took me a minute to remember that Jericho had that feud with Ricky Steamboat, so it works well. Not surprised to see The Miz and Johnny Curtis win, purely based on the fact that The Miz is the World Heavyweight Champion. Liking Otunga refusing to tag in, ultimately leading to him and Richie losing the match. Otunga should never be a face. Like MVP attacking Otunga after the match. Solid main event with Riley vs. Morrison. Would have liked to see Riley win, since the guy is awesome. But I'm not surprised that Morrison won.

l SEPTEMBER 2ND, 2010 l TIMES UNION CENTER: ALBANY, NY l "Four Man War"
The opening pyros go off, Jim Ross and Paul Heyman welcoming everybody to Thursday Night Smackdown! WWE Champion Christian makes his way down to the ring, getting a good ovation from the crowd. He gets on the mic, complimenting the fans. He goes on talking about how in 17 days, he defends the WWE Championship against four other guys. He mentions that they will be facing each other tonight, but he'd like to give a little bit of background information on each of them in his own way. He points to the titantron and Jack Swagger is shown. He says Swagger is always smiling, but he has no reason to because he sucks. The crowd laugh and cheer as he moves on to Randy Orton. He says that Randy is a psychopath who needs to be put on medication. Then Sheamus, whom he calls a giant piece of dog crap with red hair. More cheers and lastly it shows Edge, whom he says is an egomaniac who always screws up somehow and makes himself look even more pathetic. He says the point of all of this is not to make fun of these guys or to get in their heads, but that at Night of Champions it will be him walking out still the WWE Champion! The crowd pop for him once more. Commercial BreakSix-Man Tag Team MatchThe Uso's and United States Champion Bryan Danielson vs The Colón's and Kofi Kingston The bell rings as Carlito starts off with Jimmy. They lock up and swap momentum with very fast paced action. They each hit some high moves, and Jimmy eventually takes major control and makes frequent tags with Jules. They soon tag in Danielson, who works Carlito but soon loses momentum as The Colón's make some frequent tags themselves. Kingston gets in, and Danielson quickly tags in Jules, who quickly gets Trouble in Paradise and is pinned. Winners of the match: Kofi Kingston and The Colón's (7:38) **3/4 Kingston and The Colón's celebrate. Meanwhile, The Uso's vow revenge towards their respected rivals well Danielson slowly backs up the ramp, not having a care in the world for this loss, and flaunts the United States Championship to Kingston. Commercial Break#1 Contenders Match to the Diva's ChampionshipApril Lee w/Maryse vs Melina The bell rings as Lee surprises Melina early on, taking her down very quickly. She gains momentum for the opening minutes, but loses it as she gets distracted by Maryse. She is confused by it, and Melina rolls her up trying to get a cheap win - but she manages to kick out. Melina continues to work on her, being very aggressive. Lee fights back though, getting a few nearfalls. However, Maryse trips her, and Melina manages to hit the Last Call and gets the pin. Winner of the match: Melina (5:58) ** Melina celebrates the cheap win, as Maryse gets in the ring. Lee gets up and looks at both divas. Suddenly, they attack, stomping down on Lee aggressively. However, Beth Phoenix rushes down to the ring and goes right at Melina, taking her down. Maryse quickly gets out though as Melina cheap shots Beth from behind and gets out of the ring right after. Beth pulls herself up and helps Lee up as well, as Maryse and Melina laugh on the outside. We cut to a video featuring Alberto Del Rio. Commercial BreakWe return, Kurt Angle making his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and looks around the arena, showing his obvious displeasure. He says that a couple weeks ago, he was involved in a championship scramble match qualifier against Edge. He explains Randy Orton, fooled by this 'moron', RKOed him in the belief of their tag team reigniting. He says that never happened, and then last week he defeated Chris Jericho - getting back some momentum. However, The Rock decided to give him the Rock Bottom and People's Elbow! He says that doesn't make him one bit happier about The Rock coming back for a night, it just pisses him off! He says he came back here for retribution and to regain what he deserves. He says now that he is not even a part of Night of Champions, he has to find some other way to get gold. He guarantees everybody Kurt Angle will be a champion some way, some how soon enough whether they like it or not. He will break anybodies freakin' ankle to do it, too! He slams the mic down and storms out of the ring enraged. Commercial BreakSingles MatchZack Ryder vs Triple H A laughable match already before the bell rings, and as it does, Ryder slaps HHH. He is met with ferocious strikes and is soon met with a knee to the jaw, and then dropped down on the same one. Hunter gives him a spinebuster and Ryder gets up, surprisingly able to escape out of a Pedigree attempt and hit the Rough Ryder. He only gets a one count though, and tries to beat down 'The Game', only to be kicked in the gut, Pedigreed, and pinned. Winner of the match: Triple H (2:43) *1/2 The crowd cheer the decimation of Ryder, as Hunter grabs a mic. He looks around the arena and asks if this is the competition he is going to get on Smackdown. He asks if Smackdown has turned into this much of a crap hole since he has been gone. He states that he wants some real competition, and if he can't get it here - maybe he should quit and go back to the 'A Show'. The crowd boo him as he steps out of the ring, still showing his self-centered ways. We head backstage as MVP and Evan Bourne are seen. MVP says tonight, when they face McIntyre and Ziggler, he wants to make sure they have their grins of narcissism wiped off their face. Bourne agrees, saying that he can't wait to hit the Air Bourne on those 'punks'. MVP says he likes his style, but he wants to make one thing clear - he's going to be the one getting the pinfall tonight whether he likes it or not. Bourne says whatever and walks off. Commercial BreakTag Team MatchDrew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler vs Montel Vontavious Porter and Evan Bourne The bell rings as McIntyre starts off with MVP. They lock up, MVP gaining the upper hand as he pushes McIntyre into the corner and unloads with strikes viciously. McIntyre wants nothing to do with it and tags in Ziggler. He manages to get some momentum, however, taking MVP down a few times. He soon loses that though, and Bourne makes the tag as MVP has hit the Play of the Day. He climbs to the top turnbuckle, but as he is standing for the Air Bourne, MVP pulls down on the ropes, hanging up Bourne. Ziggler takes advantage off it and pulls him off into the Zig Zag, getting the pin. Winners of the match: Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre (9:34) *** Ziggler and McIntyre celebrate the victory on the outside as Bourne slowly gets up as MVP stares at him. Bourne asks what that was for. He gets a straight up answer as he is kicked in the gut and dropped with the Play of the Day. MVP then begins to leave, but comes back - hitting off the ropes - and delivers the Ballin' Elbow. He rolls out of the ring as the crowd boo and the referee checks down on the downed Bourne. Commercial BreakWe return, The Straight Edge Society making their way down to the ring. Punk takes a microphone as the crowd boo. He looks around the arena and tells them all to quiet down, he has something important to say. They continue to boo and he yells at them to shut up. He says that over the past few weeks a crazy, ugly, disturbed man has been feasting upon the pain he inflicts towards not just Matt Cross and Joey Mercury, but most importantly and as well, himself - your savior. The crowd boo as Punk says no he is not talking about the people in the arena, not any of them even though it easily could be, but Kane. The crowd continue booing at Punk, but he jokes as if they were booing about Kane. He says that he has no right to assault them, it is just wrong. However, he can't say much more as Kane comes down to the ring. He grasps hold of Punk's wrist and speaks into the mic. He states that Punk tried to injure him in that tag match before Summerslam - and now he has no choice but to make sure he only walks in a living Hell. Punk looks bug eyed, as Mercury and Cross suddenly attack Kane - beating him down abusively. Kane suddenly grabs them both by the throat and rises to his feet, but Punk comes up and kicks him in the gut. He pulls him up on his shoulders fast, and slowly hits the Go To Sleep. The Straight Edge Society stand tall. We cut to a four way split screen, showing Sheamus, Randy Orton, Jack Swagger, and Edge as the main event is next. Commercial BreakFatal Four Way MatchJack Swagger vs Sheamus vs Edge vs Randy Orton The bell rings, Orton being ganged up on early. However, he unloads on everybody and tosses Sheamus out of the ring. He then takes out Edge, but gets hit with a huge clothesline by Swagger, who takes control. He manages to hit a splash in the corner, but fails to hit the Gut Wrench Powerbomb as Orton slides off and hits the RKO. He goes for the pin, but Sheamus breaks it up. He pulls him up and hits tons of hard shots. Edge comes rushing to spear Orton, but he avoids it, and Sheamus is taken down. Orton then RKOs Edge, hooking the leg, but Swagger breaking up the pin. Commercial BreakWe return as Swagger is going at it with Edge as Orton and Sheamus are battling it out on the outside. Sheamus goes for a Bicycle Kick, but Orton ducks under it and the leg of Sheamus gets caught up against the post. Orton hits the RKO as Swagger is speared by Edge on the inside. Orton gets in and quickly takes down Edge, beating down on him - obviously still thirsty for revenge on him. However, as he is focused on him, Swagger manages to blindside him with a kick to the gut and the Gut Wrench Powerbomb in the middle of the ring. He hooks the leg and gets the shock 3 count. Winner of the match: Jack Swagger (12:08) ***1/2 Swagger celebrates the victory, but it doesn't last long. He turns to a spear from Edge, who gets up raising his fists in victory. But he is met with the Bicycle Kick from Sheamus, who then gets surprised with the RKO from Orton! Finishing moves galore, but as Orton seems to be the last one standing, Christian comes in from behind and prepares for the Killswitch, only to be met off guard with a RKO! The crowd goes nuts as Orton does stand tall to end the show.

- solid opening promo with Christian giving his opinions on his NOC opponents. - Kingston/Colons picking up the win is nice for Kofi's momentum. Really like how Danielson didn't care for his loss. - Melina winning the #1 contenders match is fine, as is the post match actions. - Angle's promo was good. Surprised that nobody else got involved. - Triple H squashing Ryder. Eh, I'm more on the not too fond side, but it's fine. For the fact that Ryder is a great talent that shouldn't be misused, and for the fact that Triple H should be higher up on the card. - Ziggler/McIntyre picking up the win is good due to the result being MVP's heel turn. - Solid SES/Kane promo. SES standing tall is alright. - Swagger winning the main event was certainly a surprise. Orton standing tall is the best way to close the show though. - Good SmackDown. Looking forward to NOC.

-Good start to SmackDown with the WWE Champion Christian. You've bulked him up too much to have him lose the WWE Championship at Night of Champions so I just don't see him losing. -The Colons and Kofi Kingston going over was a pretty solid call. -Melina over Lee sounds good considering Melina may be more expirienced to the big leagues now. -Great promo for Angle. I see a heel turn :X.....................Looking much like Attitude Era. Reminding me so much of WWF as of now. -Triple H over Ryder was a good return. Push Ryder though. -Ziggler and McIntyre winning was good as quite a few faces have won tonight. Good either way. MVP's heel turn should be nice. -Proud to see Kane on the card tonight. Hope he wins this feud with SES though and picks up Big Show or somebody to help him take SES. -Swagger winning in my opinion was least likely but I love it! Great main event and Orton standing tall to end it was pretty good too. -Great show; reminding me much of WWF for some wild reason.

Raw: September 6th, 2010 Preview
A blockbuster main event for Raw is set to take place as multi-time World Champion John Cena takes on the 2010 Royal Rumble winner, Ted DiBiase. As for other scramble preview action, two monsters who teamed up last week, Batista and Ezekiel Jackson, now face one-on-one.
Also, The Hart Dynasty is still awaiting their opponents at Night of Champions. They will be in action, however, as they face Joe Hennig and Brett DiBiase. Cody Rhodes and Shawn Michaels both have informed Teddy Long they will not be at the show, however, as Legacy will be on their own for this one without their leader at ringside. Plus, Natalya will be looking to gain some momentum before her title match as she will be in tag action.
Chris Jericho, John Morrison, Wade Barrett, and R-Truth loom as The Dudebusters looking to continue their hot streak as Curt Hawkins takes on Shelton Benjamin in one-on-one action.

l SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2010 l VERIZON CENTER: WASHINGTON, DC l "Catastrophe in the Capital"
The opening pyros hit, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcoming everybody to Monday Night Raw! John Cena makes his way down to the ring as the crowd gives a huge mixed reaction. He walks around the ring a bit before getting on the mic. He begins to do his the champ is here bit, but stops halfway through the word 'champ'. He looks around and says that the champ is actually not here right now. He hangs his head low but lifts it up quickly and shouts that in 13 days at Night of Champions the champ indeed will be here on Monday Night Raw when he takes back the World Heavyweight Championship! Mixed reactions once again, and he says that he knows some people may not like him but some people do and for those that do he's going to get back what is theirs! He can't say much more as Batista makes his way down to the ring. He shakes his head as he gets on the mic. He tells Cena that he doesn't like him. He doesn't like his fans he doesn't like anybody about John Cena or the Cenation. Cena nods and says that's just fine because he doesn't like Batista either. He says that that there is barely anybody who likes Batista because his attitude hasn't been adjusted quite enough! Batista says that was terrible in a comedic type moment that turns into awkward silence. However, Ted DiBiase makes his way to the ring. He pats a mic in his hand and says this is getting interesting. He goes on saying that he doesn't like Batista, much like Cena - but he isn't that fond of Cena either. A mixed reaction as he says that John Cena has been reigning supreme on Raw over and over again and it's about time that somebody new is the champion like The Miz. He gets loud boos for that, and says it would be a bit better if it were him though. Ezekiel Jackson is next to come out and he just stands in the middle of the ring, looking at the others. He snags the microphone from Ted DiBiase's microphone away and simply says 'no' before shoving it back into his chest. The Miz struts out to the ramp and has a wide grin. He pats a mic in his hand and says this is highly entertaining. He says that when he watches Batista take on Ezekiel Jackson and John Cena take on Ted DiBiase, he knows something has got to give. He claims that tonight two of his competitors whom already had no chance to defeat will be beaten and their self-esteem will also drop to the point of failure like they truly are! More boos and Miz continues his grin. Cena speaks up and says that tonight those matches will take place, but next week he wants Miz one on one! The crowd pop for the idea of another match between the two and Cena says he wants him to put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line too. Miz is skeptical about it, but as the pressure gains he shouts "you're on!" Commercial BreakTag Team MatchChris Jericho and Wade Barrett vs John Morrison and Intercontinental Champion R-Truth The bell rings as Morrison starts off with Barrett. They trade some shots, Morrison eventually getting the upper hand. Barrett quickly tags out though. Jericho and Morrison go at it for a while putting on some nice action up until Truth is tagged in. He ducks a clothesline from Jericho at one point and hits a huge spinning kick that almost gives him the win. As they continue going at it, Barrett makes a blind tag and blindsides Truth with the Wasteland and pins him. Winners of the match: Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho (9:01) **3/4 Barrett continues a beat down on Truth, which Jericho joins in on in approval. However, Morrison gets involved and ends up taking him to the outside. Truth ends up getting out of an attempted Wasteland and kicks Barrett in the gut, hitting the Axe Kick. Meanwhile on the outside, Morrison ducks a shot from Jericho and kicks him in the gut - delivering the Moonlight Drive immediately after. Him and Truth look down on their rivals. Commercial BreakWe return as Chris Jericho is shown walking backstage, holding his neck. Teddy Long stops in front of him and says that he knows he is angry right now and he knows he wants John Morrison in the ring one-on-one. Jericho says he's damn right, and Long says he has decided to fix that and sets up a match next week for John Morrison vs Chris Jericho right here on Raw! Jericho thanks him, but says that now he's going to have one less member of Raw in Morrison. Singles MatchNatalya w/Bret Hart vs Layla w/Michelle McCool The bell rings with Layla and McCool still chatting. Natalya takes advantage and overpowers her for a couple minutes. McCool trips her up though as she is gaining massive momentum, and Layla begins to beat her down on the mat. She ducks a clothesline and goes for the roll up with her feet on the ropes, but Natalya kicks out. They go at it for a minute more, Natalya ducking a shot and tripping Layla down and applying the Sharpshooter, quickly making her tap. Winner of the match: Natalya (5:46) ** Natalya celebrates her victory and Bret goes to join her, but Michelle trips her up and drags her out of the ring. Layla gets out as well and a beat down begins on Natalya. Bret gets out of the ring as Laycool runs off, and Bret is left tending to the downed and hurt Natalya. Commercial BreakWe return to see Matt Hardy walking backstage. Josh Mathews walks aside him and asks if he has a moment. Hardy asks him if he knows how to walk, Mathews left unable to form an answer out of confusion. Hardy begins to walk and Mathews follows, asking him about his future here in the WWE seeing as nothing has been happening for a while now. Hardy says he knows what he is doing - he is climbing the ladder. Mathews points out he hasn't won a match in quite some time, to which Hardy claims it's a very high ladder. He claims he has been climbing that ladder for 12 years now. He calls himself the Angelic Diablo, and states that the scar will become a symbol with every single damage he does whether it be to himself or somebody weak. He looks to Mathews, and suddenly strikes him. He begins to stomp him down a bit, and once satisfied, walks off. We cut to Batista in his locker room getting ready. Ted DiBiase walks in with a grin, and puts his hands up as Batista gives him a hard glare. DiBiase says that he isn't here to start anything bad, he wants to actually start something good. He says he knows how John Cena and him haven't been getting along, and he isn't going to be getting his hands on him until Night Of Champions and it won't even be one on one. Batista tells him to get to the point or get out. DiBiase smiles once again and reaches in the side of his tights, pulling out a wad of cash. He offers it to Batista, saying he'll let him do the honors tonight and walks out as Batista stares down at the money, beginning to laugh. He flips through to see how much is there. Commercial BreakSingles MatchEzekiel Jackson vs Batista The bell rings as both men stare at each other across the ring. They just stay there and Batista begins to laugh. He steps out of the ring and begins to walk up the ramp. The referee begins to count as Jackson crosses his arms in the middle of the ring, really not caring whatsoever about this. Batista laughs a bit as he begins to walk behind the curtain. The referee continues his counting inside of the ring, and soon reaches 10, declaring Jackson the winner. Winner via count-out: Ezekiel Jackson (0:42) N/AJackson begins to walk to the ropes, but suddenly Batista comes stumbling back out to the stage. John Cena begins to walk out and fires off at him. Batista stumbles down the ramp and Cena follows, grabbing him by the back of the head and throwing him into the barricade. He pulls him back up and rushes with him towards the ring, throwing him shoulder first into the steel steps. Next, around the ring and into the announce table. Then the steel post, the other set of steel steps, the ring apron, the barricade, and the next steel post. He lets Batista drop, and is met with a sudden big boot from Jackson! He pulls Cena up and delivers the Book of Ezekiel right on the hard floor. He looks down at both men and walks up the ramp. Commercial BreakSingles MatchCurt Hawkins w/Trent Beretta and Caylen Croft vs Shelton Benjamin The bell rings, Benjamin immediately picking up control over Hawkins. He puts him in the corners and works him a bit, the referee constantly having to pull him away. Hawkins rakes the eyes at one point and begins to unload with chops and strikes. He rolls him up a few times as well, but Benjamin continuously kicks out. Beretta and Croft get on each side of the ring, and as the referee takes care of Beretta, Benjamin superkicks Croft off. Hawkins seems to find an opening and goes for a cheap shot, but Benjamin expects it and manages to duck low and hit the Paydirt on the turn and pick up the pin. Winner of the match: Shelton Benjamin (7:24) **1/2 Benjamin begins to celebrate his victory, but Croft and Beretta hop into the ring and begin to beat him down viciously. Kaval and Yoshi Tatsu, however, rush down to the ring for the save and a 3-on-3 battle ensues. The Dudebusters back down quickly, not wanting any part of this. Commercial BreakNon-Title MatchLegacy vs Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty w/Bret Hart The bell sounds as Brett starts off with Kidd. They have some nice solid paced action to start, going back and forth. Brett manages to keep Kidd grounded a bit, but the speed and agility is no match for him. Smith and Kidd begin to make frequent tags and ware down Brett, who manages to make a sudden tag to Joe - who unloads on both men. He fails to get the pinfall on Kidd following the Perfect Plex though. They continue battling it out, making frequent tags and trading momentum a bit. The Hart Dynasty go for the Hart Attack, but Hennig clips Smith's legs as Brett falls on him for the very fast 3 count. Winners of the match: Legacy (9:37) *** The Hart Dynasty and Bret are furious as the referee slides out of the ring, raising Legacy's hands in cheap victory. Bret goes over to him and grabs him by the collar, demanding answers. However, Vince McMahon begins to shout from the top of the ramp to let him go. He tells Bret he ordered this to happen, because The Hart Dynasty deserve what Bret deserved 13 years ago and that's to be screwed! He says that he hasn't found opponents just yet for them at Night of Champions - but he will make sure they will be the ones to take the titles away. The same static video from recent weeks plays. Commercial BreakWe return, not in the arena, but to the cameras showing a house. Cody Rhodes steps out in front of it with a smile. He welcomes everybody to San Antonio, Texas! He says this is the home of "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels, everybody's hero. He begins to walk up to the door and says that he wants to pay Shawn Michaels a visit and talk out some of their issues that they have had recently. He reaches the front door and rings the bell, then knocks on it. He waits, looking around at the housework. The door is answered by Michaels' wife, Rebecca. Cody introduces himself, being slightly narcissistic saying she probably already knows that though. She says she knows who he is, and demands to know why he is here. He makes up that he and Shawn were going to meet to work out their differences in front of all of WWE Universe, to explain the camera. She seems skeptical, but ultimately lets him inside. He thanks her and walks around and in the living room is Michaels' son and daughter. He says hi to them and says he is here to talk with their 'daddy' about business, asking if they know where he is. His son stands up and tells him to follow him, and they go to a room where Cody walks in, thanking him. He shuts the door behind him as Shawn turns to him and asks what the hell he is doing in his house. Cody smiles and tells Shawn to take it easy, he wants to talk some business. Michaels stands up and gets right in his face, saying that they can settle their business next week at Raw, not in his own house and demands he get out. Cody says that he is being quite rude to his guest and Michaels tells him to get out once again. Cody raises his hands up and says fine, walking towards the door as Michaels walks back to where he was sitting. However, Cody suddenly strikes him from behind and begins to stomp down on him. He pulls him up and tosses him against the desk in the room and then clears it off, throwing Michaels on top of it and striking him viciously. He picks up the lamp that he pushed off the desk and cracks Michaels in the skull with it! Silence then comes over the room aside from the heavy breathing. Cody walks out of the room and down the hall, thanking Rebecca for letting him in and sarcastically says good bye to the kids. As he is walking out the front door, Rebecca's screams are heard from the room. Cody begins to go down the walk way with a sick grin across his face once again. Commercial BreakSingles MatchTed DiBiase vs John Cena The bell rings as DiBiase seems in search of Batista, who is nowhere to be seen. Cena quickly takes advantage off the distraction and completely unloads and almost finishes off the match early, but DiBiase manages to slide off his shoulders of the Attitude Adjustment. The match begins to go slower paced, DiBiase in control hitting some solid but not that effective moves. He picks things up, hitting a few hard dropkicks and shots. Cena fires back though strong, and goes for a sudden Attitude Adjustment once again, but DiBiase slides off and hits the Million Dollar Dream! He goes for the pin, but Cena kicks out. Commercial BreakReturning, Cena is in control in the corner and pounds down on DiBiase hard. He is shoved away though, and is clotheslined to the mat. DiBiase goes for the Million Dollar Dream again, but Cena fights out of it and ducks a clothesline. He goes on to hit the spinning out suplex, then the top rope leg drop, the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, and prepares for the Attitude Adjustment. DiBiase struggles, but is ultimately dropped with it. He tries to roll out of the ring, but Cena manages to pull him to the middle and apply the STF! DiBiase struggles trying to find a way out, but can't, and ends up tapping out. Winner of the match: John Cena (12:27) ***1/4 Cena pops to his feet in celebration. DiBiase begins to get up and looks to Cena angrily, who extends his hand out. - Nice opening promo with all the Championship Scramble competitors in the ring. - Jericho and Barrett winning is a good call, but Morrison and Truth standing tall at the end is good too. - Natalya winning is good. - Hardy is one crazy s.o.b - Legacy winning in cheap fashion is good, wonder who Hart Dynasty will face at NOC - Wow, crazy for Rhodes to do something like that. Wonder where this goes. - Cena winning was predictable, Miz standing tall to end it is great. - Good overall show.

-Good promo with all the WWE superstars in the Scramble. Should be nice to see Miz/Cena next week. -Jericho and Barrett over Morrison and Truth was a good start to RAW. Good call too. -Natalya over Layla is good since I'm a fan of both divas. -Ezekiel Jackson winning via countout is solid build for him. Him standing tall is fine. -Benjamin over Hawkins is fine either way. Another match where I'm big fans of both. -Legacy over there was pretty good and should lead to them fighting for the gold at NOC. Wow! Another static video, wonder what that could be. -Wow! A home invasion. Reminded me alot of the one Kevin Hart did in his 2010. That was good and could turn Rhodes into a star. Should be nice to see you stretch this feud 'till after NOC. -John Cena going over in the main-event was great. But him being laid out again is a bit much. Looking forward to next week. -Great show; really enjoyed this one. Keep it up, AJ.

l SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2010 l 1ST MARINER ARENA: BALTIMORE, MD l "Seek and You Shall Receive"
The opening pyros hit, Josh Mathews and Todd Grisham welcoming everybody to the show. Matt Striker makes his way down to the ring and he gets on the mic. He welcomes the arena to this edition of NXT, and says that tonight will be the first pro's poll, where the rookies will be ranked 1-8. However, right now, there will be a competition taking place right now! The Pro's and Rookies make their way down to the ring. Striker thanks them all for being here, and says that this competition is very, very special. He describes theme songs as very definitive of a superstar and that they have that opportunity to break away from their pro a bit more with this. He states that today's competition will give the winner their own theme song starting next week! He informs everybody about today's competition as it will involve speed as each rookie will be attempting to be the fastest in running to the locker room, grabbing their tag, and getting back into the ring the quickest. He says there will be a two minute time limit, however, and if they fail to make it back before that time they will be disqualified! Everybody excluding David Otunga and Skip Sheffield make it. Otunga had made it back out to the ramp, but Sheffield got completely lost backstage. Rookie | Time | Alex Riley | 1:35 | Darren Young | 1:38 | David Otunga | DQ | Heath Slater | 1:51 | Johnny Curtis | 1:57 | Percy Watson | 1:34 | Richie Steamboat | 1:41 | Skip Sheffield | DQ |
Watson immediately takes the microphone from Striker and shouts out "Oh yeah!" Striker laughs and congratulates him on the win. He asks him about getting his own theme song and how much it means to him. He says that it's a big deal, a really big deal! He wants to come out with his own theme song and everything, he always had! Aside from all the competition and wrestling, this is the #1 thing - Oh Yeah! The crowd cheer for him as Striker congratulates him once more. Commercial BreakTriple Threat MatchDarren Young w/Shelton Benjamin vs Alex Riley w/Jack Swagger vs Percy Watson w/Zack Ryder The bell rings as Riley is ganged up on quickly. Watson and Young manage to take care of him quick, sending him to the outside. They work each other a bit, Watson having most of the momentum with his quick work. Young fights back strong though, hitting a lot of nice standard moves but nothing special. As Watson hits his Floatover DDT, however, Riley comes back in the ring and tosses him out of the ring. The You're Dismissed is hit on Young and he is pinned. Winner of the match: Alex Riley (7:36) **1/2 Riley celebrates his cheap victory, Swagger joining him soon after. Striker gets in the ring and congratulates him on the win, asking what he has to say about this. He catches his breath and says that these guys are just like the punks he used to see in the hallway - never going to get anywhere well he goes to very big places! Swagger takes the mic out of Striker's hand and looks to Riley. He tells him he doesn't need to answer to people like Matt Striker, and he shouldn't have to deal with low levels like these two because he has the next World Champion as his pro. They walk away. Commercial BreakReturning, Richie Steamboat is walking around in the back. Chris Jericho walks up to him and tells him he isn't going to be voting for him high at all in the pro's poll tonight. Steamboat says he understands that he hasn't won matches, but he's put on better ones then Chris has in the last 3 years. Jericho takes offense to it and says that he is just digging a whole deeper for himself, and he vows that he will be eliminated in 4 weeks. He walks off. Singles MatchHeath Slater w/John Morrison vs Skip Sheffield w/Santino Marella The bell rings as Sheffield tries to corner Slater, but gets knocked into it and gets met with tons of strikes. Sheffield clotheslines him down though, and begins a huge offense of power. He fails to hit a powerbomb, however, as Slater pounds down with punches to the head and drops him with a DDT. He can't get the pinfall, and Sheffield goes crazy with strength again. He winds his arm, but on the lariat Slater ducks it and rolls him up for the quick 3! Winner of the match: Heath Slater (6:55) ** Slater and Morrison celebrate the victory on the outside and begin to make their way up the ramp. Sheffield looks furious as Santino struggles to get him to calm down. Striker walks up to him and goes to ask him a question but suddenly eats boot to the face! Santino yells at him like a dog, telling him to sit. The comedic, yet honest, efforts fail to work as Sheffield winds his arm and hits his vicious lariat as Striker rises. He storms away, Santino looking scared. Commercial BreakSingles MatchDavid Otunga w/MVP vs Richie Steamboat w/Chris Jericho As soon as the bell rings, Steamboat unloads with shots to Otunga that don't seem to phase him one bit. Otunga throws him around like a rag doll and uses some vicious moves. Steamboat picks things up with his speed though, and manages to embarrass Otunga multiple times. Steamboat climbs to the top turnbuckle, but MVP continues his signs of heel, as he pushes him off. Jericho doesn't care as Otunga hits The Verdict and picks up the pinfall. Winner of the match: David Otunga (9:13) **3/4 Otunga celebrates the victory as MVP gets in the ring. The two, who have had a heated rookie-pro rivalry, stare each other down. MVP extends his hand and Otunga seems skeptical, before accepting it. Meanwhile, Jericho and Steamboat glare at each other through the ropes. Commercial BreakWe return as Todd Grisham is standing in the ring with all 8 rookies. He says that due to what happened to Matt Striker earlier, he had to leave for medical attention so he will be presenting the pro's poll here tonight. He reminds all the rookies that this is just showing them where they currently rank in the minds of the pros, and things can change within the next four weeks when the elimination time comes. So at this time, some don't even need to be worried about themselves as they are doing just fine, well some need to step it up. He reveals the results on the titantron. Rank | Rookie | 1 | Alex Riley (2-1) | 2 | Johnny Curtis (2-0) | 3 | Percy Watson (1-1) | 4 | Heath Slater (1-1) | 5 | Skip Sheffield (1-2) | 6 | Darren Young (1-2) | 7 | David Otunga (1-2) | 8 | Richie Steamboat (0-3) |
The crowd give a mixed reaction towards the results. Grisham goes over to Alex Riley and asks what he thinks of being ranked #1. Riley laughs and says that his pro Jack Swagger made a good point earlier. He shouldn't have to answer to people like Matt Striker, and Todd is even more of a geek then he is. He says he's #1 because he is the best in this competition, and demands Todd to get away from him. Grisham slowly walks off and goes to Slater. He asks about him being ranked #4, to which he says the one man rock band can do better then that. He says it's fine for now, but he expects he'll be #1 in four weeks time. Grisham lastly goes to Steamboat, asking him about being ranked last here tonight. He looks around in disappointment, and says that he is not impressed by the pros. He says he knows that he doesn't deserve #1 with what they see - the wins and losses, but when it comes to heart and determination he is #1 in this competition! He says that he is going to keep on showing that each and every week whether he wins or loses. Grisham thanks them all for their opinions and then thanks the pros for voting. He gives a small hype towards next weeks show where all 8 rookies will be in action and Percy Watson will get the theme song he won in the competition earlier tonight. He thanks everybody for watching as NXT comes to a close.

-You really seem like a fan of Alex Riley so him not winning was a shock. Percy winning was good too though. -Riley winning Triple Threat was an expected rebound for him off his lost in the challenge. -Slater over Skip should really help him not to be eliminated. -Otunga over Steamboat is fine. Not a huge fan of Otunga but oh well, I wish Tarver were in this, but anyways, I'm looking forward to the Pro's Poll. -Steamboat is like the Daniel Bryan is this. -Good show; looking forward to thee eliminations.
