hey guys! very excited to post new pics of my tattoo tomorrow(after the wrap comes off). my session went phenomenal today! it hurt near the arm pit area, but other than that it didn't hurt as much as i thought it would haha. here's a picture of jason i went with though. EDIT* hey guys, heres a pic of the piece i got done lastnight to finish off my horror half sleeve let me know what you think! Wow awesome! Glad you told us that was your armpit or I would have been scared as to where that hair was coming from ;P Well...The Quillian in Allentown, PA is offering a $13 tattoo and piercing on Friday...you just have to be kosher and tip them $7. They have a cute little Darwin fishy I was looking at so maybe if I have $20 extra bucks...I may get him They have a few rules and such, but like $20 total for a little tattoo. www.thequillian.blogspot.com/It may be cheep but damn! they suck Actually that's kind of the point of their deal. They are actually very talented artists and I get my work done there all the time. People complain to them all the time how expensive their work is. So, Friday the 13th, you want cheap so you get cheap....the Darwin fishy is always cutely drawn...but everything else is generic crap. They have a sign behind their little desk that says "Good tattoos aren't cheap and Cheap tattoos aren't good."

By the way, i've been wondering - when I was on holiday I got a tat' done and it has faded away pretty quickly in places, if i go to a different artist and ask them to touch it up, how much is it going to cost?

You have to ask them. Some artists won't touch another's work, some will. It just depends on the artist. On a side note...no Darwin fishy stupid bills...there's always another time...I thought of a really neato addition to him.so hopefully I can you know...master the art of pencil and draw him.

There is no set cost, it'll cost you whatever the artist wants to charge, and how good they are. Oh, and everyone should check out SullenClothing.com - I'm totally buying this: buysullen.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=434

The last few month's I've been thinking about getting a tattoo as a memorial for both of my grandfathers who have passed a way, and I had a few vague ideas of what I'd get.
Recently though, one of my grandmothers has also passed away, so I thought I'd get a memorial tattoo for all three. Since this is my first tattoo, I don't want something to big and detailed, and at the moment I've been thinking about maybe getting three roses of some sort, one for each of my relatives.
I was just wondering what you guys thought of this? Do any of you have ideas that might be better than roses, or any other type of ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Maybe you could do a branch with three leaves on it, with room to add more. That way when your other grandma passes, you can add one for her as well. Plus the whole family tree thing.

I do really like that idea, digging the family tree aspect of it too. Think I'm gonna try drawing up something along those lines, see how it looks. Now I've just gotta decide where would be best to have. Much appreciated becca

Not yet, but I called to get it set up this morning. The earliest I can get it turned on is Nov. 30th, and that's what I'm doing. They're booked solid until then, but in 13 days, I'll be back FULL force.
...and I guess no one is interested in doing the Tattoo of the Year thread, cuz none of you ass holes have sent me a PM. Fine then, Leonardo wins by default.

How can I send you a PM of my finished ink, if it hasn't been finished yet?

You can't get pissed at me for not sending a PM yet. It's not the end of the year.

I guess no one read that I'm starting the thread for tattoo of the year on December 1st? You know, being that I'm starting the thread on that day, and that it will be a voting thread, I sorta can't add to it after it gets made.
Soooo like, yeah. I kind of need whatever you want to nominate BEFORE that day, and voting will last until January 1st... it's not a hard concept to understand.
...and come on, I'm sure lots of people have friends that own a digital camera.
--By the way, if anyone cares to pick up some new magazines, I greatly recommend the new releases of Tattoo Society (Tim Kern has a GREAT interview in it) - Tattoo Review (featuring Jessie DeVille on the cover) and if you're of age, Tabu Tattoo (which has an EXCELLENT gallery of gore inspired tattoos).
