I know they're not tattoos but what does everyone think of those brands that people sometimes get?

Personally, I think both branding and scarification are ing stupid.

I saw some of that scarification on Vampire Freaks a few years ago when I was hanging around with a goth chick. It looked painful as .

I like most forms of body mods...Don't think I'd ever get into branding or scarification, but whatever floats your boat.

Well, I know a lot of people like the more extreme body mods, but I think there is a point where it stops being modification, and becomes mutilation.
Just my opinion though.

Some people mod at a relatively healthy level but there are people out there who really take mods to a very unhealthy level. What are they called suspensions? When people put those large rings in their body and get held up with ropes? Those to me are just taking it too far. I am just curious about whether branding and scarification really last long? A lot of scars start to heal after 7 years. I don't know much about the process but that would be something I would consider.

Why someone would want to do that is beyond me.

Why someone would want to do that is beyond me. Yea...see that's exactly the kind of image that was in my head when I was thinking "some people just go to far" I personally would not want O-Rings in my boobies so that I could be suspended in the air...

I'm getting my Jack Skellington tattoo right around my birthday (December 9), so Adam, am I disqualified if I can't make it by the 5th?
