I'd think so. Besides, if people who got them were lazy and didn't work, how would they have paid for them in the first place?

I have always love the way webs looked. I would personally get one JUST because I hate spiders, as a little tongue-in-cheek joke with my self.

Well, looks like I'll be going back probably next weekend. I'm planning on getting my youngest dachshund's paw print on my arm, sort of above my bomb, next to my tigerbat.
We got him... well, originally my brother got him from the shelter here, the day after that he was planned to be put down - then (two weeks later) he got sick, they thought it was distemper, and gave him a few days to live. He dropped a LOT of weight, was really lethargic, and I really thought he was going to die. Obviously he didn't though, and we bonded a ton when he was sick. So that's the little story.

Well, alright. I just snapped a pic with my webcam of my left arm, you can see the three somewhat that are on it, and I jacked the other pic (which is on my right arm) from my myspace page.

Those are some sick pieces. I love the 77(If that is what the last tat is, haha) The story of your dog makes me really f'in sad. I had to put my dog of 16, almost 17, years down yesterday morning. It was terrible, I balled my eyes out these last two days and im really depressed. My brother got her the day I was born. So damn sad. I've decided to get her name tattooed on my calf soon after I get my forearm tattoo. First, I need to my back tat for my grandma on my 17th birthday. I can't wait, only 8 more months.

---I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. I got very, very lucky and my little guy survived. He represents a LOT of things to me, especially luck, having cheated death twice.
Yup, it's a 77 - in reference to the punk band Blanks 77 (who has been my favorite band since I was about 13). Pretty neat story about that tattoo.
A couple of years back I got a PM from GrumpyOldMan who saw the sig I had at the time (which was of the band), and he asked me a couple of questions, and told me he lived with their bassist. I got a few patches from him, and some pins, and he told me they thought it was pretty cool that someone 2,000 miles away (they're from Jersey, I live in New Mexico) still listened to 'em.
In reality, everyone of my 'punk' friends loves them to death, haha.
Anyway, last summer he sent me another PM and told me they were going to do a one off show in Austin, TX at a place called the Red 7. It just so happened, two of my ex bandmates, and close friends moved to Austin early that year. So I took a bus that was supposed to be a 13 hour trip, got rerouted a few times, had a few other problems, and my trip turned into 25 hours. It was a load of crap, lol.
Anyway, GrumpyOldMan came through, I was on the guestlist, and got to have some drinks and meet and hang out with the people in my favorite band. After a night of fun, partying, and damn good times, I got the 77. I even have a video of one of the songs from that night (one of my drunk ass friends was supposed to do the wide shot, which got pretty f'd up, lol). Check out the video!

I remember when you went on that trip, you were so ing psyched when you got back. Greyhound though, I'll never ride on them. I should be getting the life insurance money from my mom's policy next week, and if I do expect a few new pieces within a couple of days. Money has been the only thing holding me back right now.

like mine on the first page? definately go for it. get yourself an ink pad from like office max or staples and stamp the dog's paw print onto paper so you have it's actual size paw. thats how i did it and love it. don't forget to wash the paw with water and wipe it off unless you want to clean up ink all over the floor, haha. post pics when you get it, i'd love to see it.

Oh yeah man, I've wanted to do something for my dog for a while, and portrait sessions (at a good shop) can be extremely pricey. After I saw your stuff, I got a bit inspired, and started looking at different styles on the web of paw prints. I bought both watercolor paint, and an ink pad... I'm going to try the watercolor first, just because it'll be the easiest to wash off, lol. If that doesn't work, I'll get 'em in the ink for a bit.

i thought about getting their portraits but it was quite expensive and i'd really need to do some artist searching for something like that. last thing i'd want is a dog that looks nothing like mine on my body somewhere, haha.
i never thought of using water color. it probably would be easiest but the ink wasn't as bad as i thought. i just put some paper on my floor, had the step in he ink pad and walk on the paper to get a few prints to choose from. just remember to have a wet paper towel ready to wipe them down.

The paper idea is the same one a friend told me to try, he said, 'hell, ONE has to turn out right" lol. I'll probably get some kind of paper on a roll, so I can have him walk a couple of feet and get at least a dozen prints on it. The only thing that makes me a little hesitant on the water color is the paper wrinkling up. It'll be fine though, I'll get the print damnit! ;D ________________________________________________ Edit: The watercolor idea didn't work for ****. I had to go out and buy an ink pad. Anyway, after many, MANY tries, I finally got two prints I really, really liked. Probably next Saturday, I'll have something new to share with everyone.

I really need to get something for my dog. I had her from Feb of 2001 until I moved out last June. My mom treated her like a second kid, and now my sister is taking care of her until I can move to some place that allows dogs. I miss my dog, and I ing hate this shitty apartment.

I'm REALLY up in the air between 2 designs. 1. The 3x's on my side. I've had my mind glued to this being my FIRST tattoo for so long, I don't wanna change my mind because of that reason. 2. Nautical star on my left pec. While, the nautical is a very popular tattoo, it means a lot to me and the whole tattoo has a lot of value, it's just a matter if I wanna go against saying "I'm getting 3 x's on my side" for so long.
