If you have had your mind set on something for a while I say go for it. I had been pretty happy with the idea of getting my mushroom for a while before I finally got it, so I know the feeling of wanting to satisfy that urge.
You can always get the star later on.

Or he could really throw down the cash and get them all at once! ...but I'm sure he'd be more comfortable, not doing them at the same time, lol. I took a snap of the paw print I did of my dog, and put it in a photo editing program... this is the basic idea of how I want it to turn out:

Yep. It was solid black, but I edited it through the computer with the outline, and shading... just to see how it'd look.
