I just realized, this has reached fifty pages. yeah. My sentiments exactly. I'm gonna be pissed if this ever gets moved to the Banter Board (due to me being banned from there). This is like one of my favorite thread ever.

-- Jason, you might be thinking of the The Fifth Turtle: the-5th-turtle.blogspot.com - I could be wrong though. As far as I know, Peter Liard hasn't deleted anything. --DeathBear, my sentiments exactly. I'm not gonna lie, some of the tattoos I've seen on there have in one way or another influenced what I've gotten. Oh, and those of you who were talking about Simpson's art: springfieldpunx.blogspot.com/
Check out that site, it's not the characters from the show, but VERY well done renderings of other actors and characters as they'd appear in the Simpson's world. (The Turtles and Shredder too!) The Joker on there is awesome.Cheers for that the Batman as a Simpson is sick, the best Tv program i grew up with and my favourite comic book character, Just great.

---No problem man! Glad you dig 'em! I just realized, this has reached fifty pages. yeah. My sentiments exactly. I'm gonna be pissed if this ever gets moved to the Banter Board (due to me being banned from there). This is like one of my favorite thread ever. I think as long as we keep spamming, and fighting down (which as happened miraculously well) - it'll stay here. Seems to be a good bunch of 'regulars' with the occasional tattoo virgin straggling in. I think of this much like the horror thread on the entertainment board - doesn't appeal to everyone, but it stays civil 99.9% of the time, and most of the talking is on topic. No reason to be moved.

I wish I would've had a better artist do my Tiger Army logo, so I didn't have to settle for a graffiti/stencil version when it was fixed. I still love the tattoo though.

I'm just throwing this out there to anyone who doesn't have ink that will listen.
No matter what anyone says, it does hurt. Outlines don't really bug me, shading is okay - but my bomb and Leo KILLED. The smaller stuff I have was over and done with pretty damn fast, and my sugar skull isn't pretty much all color (like the two I'm talking about) so I was alright with that one - however both Leonardo and the bomb were 3 hour sessions and at times, were down right excruciating.
So my question poised to those of us inked - how was YOUR experience pain wise?

Wasn't really too bad to be honest. Just above the point where I could ignore it, so it did bug me the entire time, but it wasn't as horrible as I expected.

My left calf was done by an apprentice and that hurt like hell because he was new and digging into me. Otherwise the only big "whoa" pain was the maggot going into my hand. The palm killed me.

Eh... i can't be assed looking for the right quote... i'll just delete it tattoo virgins club! How about any of you guys? Do you regret getting any tattoos? No I don't and I am always working to make others look perfect so I don't regret them. The designs I am thinking about all have meaning. All of the ones I currently have are meaningful to me...even my generic "tramp stamp" LOL. It's a blue and orange flower that I got on what would have been my grandfather's 85th birthday. Like in the Spring I am going to get this connect C design (you would have to see it) with 2010 on top and Religio, Libertas et Scientia...where I go to school we have these rings that you are supposed to get so everyone knows that you went there. It's some sisterhood thing. Well, it's supposed to last forever blah blah, someone was telling me and I said "Well if you want it to really be forever and a bond, tattoo that s.h.i.t on you." Well, I decided to spend the 200 on the tattoo instead of the 500 on the damn ring that everyone else has. Right now that is the one thats important on my list. I just need to get ink to print out what the design looks like so I can discuss this with Steve at Quillian in Allentown (cheap shill). Oh and you know what burns like hell...you know the squishy part of your wrist like kind of between the radius and ulna...it burns. Alas I am going to get one on my other wrist...I hate being uneven.
