RAW was a much more solid show, than iMPACT! was. Granted TNA gave us the awesome Knockouts Tag Title match and Angle/Styles, on free TV. However, the rest of the show was terribly put together.
Steel Asylum
This was just a disaster, with the camera missing most of the spots. A DQ finish was a terrible choice, as the fans were livid. Already hearing "This is bullshit!" chants, within the first 15 minutes. Then watch Homicide ATTEMPT to climb out of the top, for a good 5 minutes, only to fail.
Jeff Hardy's "return"
Am I the only one that immediately said "This is a one time deal", when I saw him? It just felt like he didn't wanna be there and was just go through the motions... much like he did when he was on the roster. Adding to it, the promo with him and Moore, with Jeff thinking about whether of not he wanted to sign... Moore will, Hardy won't. Hardy knows that if he wants to wrestle, the place he belongs is the WWE. Where his family and the money is. Not to mention, the exposure.
Hall and Waltman "invade the show"
Seriously, this is what eventually killed WCW. These 2 are so completely unprofessional and washed up, it's not even funny. It turned out well, once Hogan told them "it's not like that, this time"... but we all know Hogan is going to "feud" with Foley.
Ric Flair "debuts"
Ugh, enough of this money hungry, washed up old man. Most wrestling fans are already tired of this guy. However, if he doesn't lace up his boots, i'll be fine with this.
The Nasty Boys
I have no idea what they are going to end up doing with this? I'm hoping it's a one time thing and not the start of a Team 3D vs. Nasty Boys feud. Although I can Bubba and D-Von getting the boot sometime this week/next and Nasty Boys taking their roster spots... which would be even worse than 3D in TNA. Either way, these guys came off as pricks and I wouldn't be shocked if thats how they treat locker rooms. Fellas, it's 2010, not 1990-1996... nobody gives a crapabout you two anymore.
TNA talent being burried
The Machine Guns, Beer Money... they just HAD to have these guys get beaten down, did they? It's almost clear as day, now, that Nash is going to choose Hall ( The Outsiders ) and are going to eventually cash in and win the TNA World Tag Team Championship. It's a damn joke, though.
Not much of the GOOD TNA talent
Minus Wolfe, Dinero, Angle and Styles... most of TNA's younger talent weren't showcased here, at all. Daniels, Williams, Young, Storm, Roode. Instead, guys like Raven, Richards, Morgan and Hernandez were given time. Once again, TNA chooses the wrong guys to showcase.
The return of the nWo
This is something we've all been dreading, since the news of Hulk Hogan partnering with TNA was announced. At first, it started off a jokes... then the news of Hall and Waltman sigining with TNA broke and it became a reality. Once Hogan put those 3 in their place, I had high hopes that maybe it was a 1-time thing... nope. With their attack on Foley, these washed up nothings are going to "take over" TNA for the next few-several months. Didn't we JUST do this, with the Main Event Mafia ( TNA's nWo )? It killed WCW in the long run and it will to TNA... if this continues.
