Anybody that says TNA "won" is simply a TNA mark. I hate all current wrestling now days and nostalgic feeling is what I wanted from both shows. Neither show gave that to me but Raw still ran smoothly like a well oiled machine. TNA looked like one giant 3 hour cluster with 2 1/2 hours of commercials Thats just an ignorant statement, who made you the authority to decide that just by enjoying TNA's show more makes them a mark? I went to Raw in Dayton Ohio. Guess what I did when I went home? I managed to stay away from any spoilers and watched the show straight through. I thought TNA was a much better show than Raw. I still enjoyed Raw, how could I not? I was 6th row watching Bret's return. If you compare, TNA had: Val Venis return (like) Bubba the love sponge (dislike) Nasty Boys (dislike) Flair (superlike) Hall/Waltman (neutral) TNA Knockout's Tag Title match (superlike, great action great match) ODB winning the women's title (dislike) Jeff Hardy (like, and huge surprise. does that make me a TNA mark because I liked something they did?) Bischoff on camera - Like. WWE had: Maryse vs. a Bella twin (wtf?) Jerishow vs. DX - Same old match we've had with them before Kofi/Orton - Same old finish. Bret Hart - superlike How can you even argue that TNA didn't have a better show? The only real appeal to it was Bret Hart. And if it wasn't for him, I would have been pissed for driving 2 hours to see a god awful show The mark comment is more of a direct-indirect comment towards certain people that are on the boards that also felt the need to go to the Raw thread every 3 mins and say 'ZOMG EX WWE Wrestler is in the Impact Zone"....anyway lets break down the shows like you did.... Val Venis return (he played poker...seriously... in poker?) Bubba the love sponge (waste of oxygen) Nasty Boys (Great 2 guys that cant walk little less move) Flair (As huge of a Flair mark that I am he was shown walking inside...big whoop) Hall/Waltman (Honestly do you expect either one of these two to stay sober enough to make it to mid year?) TNA Knockout's Tag Title match (Didnt see the entire thing but from what I saw I have no complaints) ODB winning the women's title (ODB seriously? she makes me wanna spoon my eyes out, and cut off my ears) Jeff Hardy (see Hall & Waltman) Bischoff on camera - (doubtful he will have a major on air role) WWE had: Maryse vs. a Bella twin (suck ass match but Maryse was hot) You forgot the 4 way match- (I didnt watch it at the time so no comment) Jerishow vs. DX - Same stuff I agree but still Id rather watch that then Nasty Boys try to get inside or Mick Foley walk the streets) Kofi/Orton - Another same ol stuff match but it continues to help develop storylines. Gives Kofi more exposure as a "maineventer" and furthers the Legacy storyline.) Bret Hart - Everything Bret did was magical. Thats the only word I can think of it. Nothing the drunk world order could do can take the place of Hart and Michaels hugging in the ring.

Am i the only one that enjoyed the knockout tag match more than the main event. That match had too many false endings and lasted a bit too long.

Nothing the drunk world order could do can take the place of Hart and Michaels hugging in the ring. Venis - Can you think of a better idea for him than to raid the Beautiful People's locker room? And his intensity with Foley at the end was actually surprisingly good. You can't deny that. Bubba the love sponge - again, I agree. Get that stooge out Nasty Boys - I bet I can't find 5 people who would be happy to see them on a weekly basis. FAIL. Flair - I agree again. Kinda sucked that you have the two biggest signings in TNA history (sue me) in Flair and Hardy, and yet it seems Nasty Boys and Bubba the Shithound got more exposure. Hall - No I don't expect him to stay sober for 1/2 a year lol, agreed. Waltman - I have a little more faith in him. I was 5 years old when he debuted for WWF, and I was a mark.. I'd like to believe in him like I did back in the day TNA Knockout Tag Title - I'd keep pushing you on this to watch it but I don't want to set the bar unrealistically high. lets just say they are better workers than 85% of WWE's Diva lockerroom. Yes I understand that isn't saying much. ODB - She's alright. I'm holding out for Angelina to come back Jeff Hardy - See Flair Bischoff - You can't have Bischoff without him having a major on screen role. Or at least, if I was booking, thats what I would do. and as for WWE, you're right, I forgot the 4 way match. You know why? Because it was easily forgettable. Would I rather watch a buried Jack Swagger? Carlito? Yucky Mark Henry? MVP is stale. Who in their right frame of mind would rather watch a midcard match between those 4 instead of watching TNA? I was at Raw and I still forgot about that match, that should say something. Maryse - I'm not trying to rub in that I was in the 6th row, but she was resting her ass on the middle rope. I think everyone in my section popped...wood that is. She is really the only diva I care to watch, and if she wasn't in that match I would have gone to to the concessions. Kofi was buried, I don't care what anyone says. Orton had the offense going almost the whole match, Kofi got about 45 seconds of offense, and then Orton RKO'd. lol. Bret - I've always been a huge Bret fan.. From my Bret figure collection to a poster in my room.. at the age of 20, I should be ashamed to say that but I'm not. I wasn't watching TNA live so I have no idea who Bret was up against at the time. But yeah if it was Bret vs the NWO I'd side with who I sided with when I was 7 years old... Bret. We can agree with just about everything it sounds like.. But I'm sticking by TNA being the better show

If you say WWE you are one biased mofo. TNA was just that good tonight. Back in the days of the real Monday Night Wars, winning was based on the ratings. So with WWE getting the higher rating of course they won. TNA was nothing more than 3 hours of former WCW and WWE stars popping up. Correct me if Im wrong but the knockout tag match was the only match without WWE cast offs. While all in all, I wouldn't say that the show was horrible. But I wouldn't say that it was better than RAW. And I'm not saying that RAW was better. I think that the whole Bret things is epic for pro wrestling. Burying the hatchet with HBK was huge. Anyhow, I'd say the shows were both good, neither one was better than the other in my opinion, however WWE still gets my vote because obviously they will have the better rating.

Taylor Wilde was signed to WWE and wrestled in FCW before they released her so technically she's a cast off.

In my opinion WWE won.
I watched both, one after the other and tbh, other then the 'surprise' debuts on TNA, it felt like the same TNA as normal.
What made me think WWE won was the most anticipated confrontations in 12 years (Bret/HBK and Bret/Vince).

By ratings standpoint, WWE won.
But TNA put up a good effort. Just a little less Hogan next time, please?

Wow, I'm surpised I haven't vented on this thread, lol ;D I think everyone that said anything against TNA in this thread was point on! Especially Triple S and some others on page 2. Tna did nothing to highlight their talent, and made it look like WCW all over again( the bad parts of WCW). Hogan and Bischoff will shyt all over this company and leave it in ruins like everything else they've been integrally associated with/ I feel bad for guys like Daniels, AJ, etc. I hope and pray they get picked up by WWE or ROH gets a tv deal so they can be used properly.
I watched the replay because i did get caught up in the flipping back and forth, and it still sucked. Bischof and Hogan looked so awkward when they were cutting that promo, you'd think they nver were in the business before.

What made me laugh when I watched the replay was Scott Hall talking to Hogan and Waltman before he started on the mic, I think he asked them what he was supposed to say... lol

TNA was good but it annoyed me with the Hogan, Bischoff, Hall, Nash, Waltman promo with Sting looking down from the rafters and then the beatings backstage, I didnt know if I was watching TNA or a repeat of WCW from the late 90's apart from that I really enjoyed the hype and seeing some of the faces there and not to mention Pope vs Wolf (should have been longer) and Styles VS Angle. All WWE had that was really worth watching was Bret Hart.
All in all id say I prefered TNA, I think WWE really needs to book there ideas up and start seeing TNA as a potential threat. The problem with WWE is theres very little diversity, the Divas division is dying, the Tag Team division is just about dead, and the cruiserweight division is littraly dead where as TNA give you Diversity with a thriving X division a Thriving knockouts division and you keep seeing different things throughout there show. All in all I dont watch wrestling to be loyal to a wrestling promotion, I watch it to see wrestlers I like and to be honest theres more wrestlers I like in TNA than there is WWE
