WWE is not a sport, Wrestling is. Contradiction, thy name is Jason. Man, your sig pisses me off. How can they take the black kid from playing a bad ass little kid in Boyz in the Hood, to getting his ass handed to him in a suburban neigborhood by some snob whit ekid that knows some karate? What a byitch....

I suppose you have never heard of amateur wrestling? TNA likes to claim it's wrestling.

I'm glad to see wrestling fans taking those comments the proper way. White is right in what he says, and it's nothing to get upset about.

nothing Dana said is false, thats really why I don't see why these kids want to start a WWE/UFC war, they are two completely different things.

I'm confused. Are there still people out there that don't know this?
Sport : An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.
Anyone care to explain how something rigged can be undertaken competitively? And please no one use the "They are performers, trying to outdo each other" excuse, because it takes at least two to tango.

And as far as Rocky....well...you mess with Emily and it's lights out as you can see.

I suppose you have never heard of amateur wrestling? Why yes, actually I have. My Uncle was a collegiate amateur wrestler. Olympian wrestling is something I've watched before with great interest. I just mean Jsyn was being overly generic in his response/insult to the WWE. Many other companies shouldn't be considered a sport as well.

Did that movie make anyone else like crack-addicted to pizza?

Only within the context that it's viewed is pro wrestling referred to as a sport. You may have heard of it. It's called Kayfabe.

In other news, White also said the sky is blue, and actual sex is better than jerking off.

Vince doesn't even refer to the company as a sport. It's "sports entertainment". Truthfull, there's a pretty big difference.

To my knowledge, no one in the WWE currently gets anything even remotely resembling a high-profile professional athlete's contract. Last I knew, John Cena was making somewhere in the vain of 1 million a year, plus bonuses, merchandise revenue and more. That doesn't mean he isn't making damn good money, but when you figure the average big name football player is making between $7-$10 million a season, sometimes much more, and working a quarter of the time that Cena does, there's a big difference.

I had a debate with a dude over YouTube, must have been in his 20s, yet he still claaimed that WWE wasn't pre-determined and it was absolutely real... It amazed me that people actually still think that it's real...
But yeah, White hit the nail on the head, but it isn't an insult at all. WWE has said themselves many times, they never claim to be a sport, hence the name, Sports ENtertainment. What people don't get is if you look it up, Sport and Sports Entertainment are two entirely different worlds.

That's why nobody else bothered either. Sorry for the mixup.

As long as WWE says they are not a sport..they wont be a sport...so he is right.
If being "bigger" means making more money...he is wrong. WWE made more than UFC. PPV's arent the only thing that counts...WWE is a much bigger selling brand.
