I think this could be a good thing. In a lot of the matches there were several times where the guys would have to stop and look around to figure out where the corner was. When the X-division was the focus it was good because the seemed to be able to use the ring better, but with the focus now more on big guys, who seem out of place and uncomfortable in the ring, the change could help them.

well that just gets me mad, I will probably buy the ppv just to see how everyone adapts to it, hahaha pretty funny since they will have to adapt to a 4 sided ring

This is not a complaint against change, but why was it necessary to scrap the ring? Pretty sure Hogan wanted it gone. I don't know if that's the actual reason but that's what I read. While I can't really say I'm entirely against it, I definitely would've preferred if they stuck with the six-sided one though.

*sigh* It was inevitable, but I wish it had been just a little longer before the change. Oh well. I won't be angry at all, as long as their new 4 sided ring is the same size as the WWE's. If it's tinier, then they're REALLY going to come across as trying to be like WWE. If it's tinier, they might've well have just stuck with six-sides. Hopefully they were able to afford a nice, large four sided ring. Their six sided ring and the old ring seemed to be from the same company that made the WCW rings, and if you remember, those rings were tiny, too.

Does anyone know if they are did a full redesign of the set or if it is just the ring? An entire arena change would be nice because it'll look a little more empty now the six sided ring has done square. They didn't say anything about the set, so I'm assuming it's just the ring. Hopefully they move the announce table and reposition the guardrails, though.

TNA now has nothing that makes them any different than WWE. Hilarious.

GOOD! I wish they would redo the entrance stge as well, with only one center entrance for the wrestlers instead of the two.

TNA now has nothing that makes them any different than WWE. Hilarious. If that's the biggest thing that made them diff then WWE, well that's sad. I'm glad its gone, it was stupid to have with so many heavyweights and people who rarely even utilized it. Now they look like a legit fed, not some Wrestling attraction.

It's going to take more than a ring side change to improve TNA...

Do people really care about what type of ring is used?

Hopefully this doesn't mean Nigel's little rebound lariats will be making a comeback.

I don't see how this makes TNA any better, just less unique. Maybe Hogan couldn't figure out how to do a leg drop bouncing off a six sided-ring?

Just read, TNA have legally changed their name to WCW.
