Ah, glad they got rid of that gimmicky ring.
Also, the ramp to ring combo is awesome. I used to love that in WCW (when WCW was good)

Having older guys doesn't make you WCW... having Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Vince Russo, Mick Foley, The Nasty Boys, Raven, Ric Flair, and Scott Steiner on your roster all at one time makes you WCW... They also have Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, Orlando Jordan, Val Venis, Pope Dinero, Shannon Moore, Matt Morgan, Tara, Christy Hemme, Stevie Richards and Jeff Hardy. Does that make them WWE? WWE has Triple H, The Big Show, Chavo Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Finlay, Chris Jericho, Hurricane, William Regal and Goldust. Are they WCW too? Your comparisson sucks. I'm pretty sure Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Sting were much more crucial to WCW in their time than Chavo, Finlay and Goldust were.... same goes for the WWE guys. The fact that TNA has all those people PLUS switching to the 4 sided ring PLUS putting the NWO together PLUS the ramp connecting the ring thing PLUS a bunch of other stuff I'm too tired to name makes them awfully reminiscent to WCW... They might as well keep iMPACT on Thursdays and re name it TNA Lightning and have a monday show as well called TNA Boost Power.......

I can understand the NWO thing and Hogan/etc being reminiscent to WCW, but give them a chance. I feel Hogan's done well so far bringing in all this talent (bar Orlando Jordan, who is meaningless). I think the Nasty Boyz will be gone after the fued with Team 3D and everyone else has been a good signing.
TNA is taking leaps and bounds at the moment, trying to get all the changes to settle down. I think once they find their new niche, things will get better. TNA booking can be sloppy though. I don't see how the ramp/ring has ANYTHING to do with WCW. As I said in another thread, a local indy fed here has the same set-up, but they are NOTHING like WCW. The six-sided ring was a gimmick that was pointless bar a few X-Division Matches which have been getting pushed further and further down the card.
That comparison didn't suck. What I was trying to get across is that just because you have a roster that's got alot of people from another federation, you can do things a totally new way.

Just read, TNA have legally changed their name to WCW. Ok, so any promotion that uses a 4 sided ring and has a few older guys is WCW? Wow, Jerry Lynn is 47 and Steve Corino is 37 (ROH) and Terry Funk was 50 when he started in ECW. Having older guys dosen't make you WCW. And WWE isn't doing much a better job pushing younger guys either (Sheamus excluded). need I say more as to why people see WCW in TNA?
