From PWInsider.com
Say goodbye to the six-sided ring. TNA has a traditional four-sided ring set up in the Impact Zone for tonight's Genesis PPV. TNA had been using the six-sided ring since debuting at Universal Studios in May 2004 for their first Impact taping.

Damn you Hogan. Damn you. ... I mean its TNAs trademark. The six sided ring has been used before in other places. It's not much of a trademark. Anyway, I'm glad to see a four sided ring. The traditional way.

The 6 sided ring was so gimmicky and made it look like TNA was scrapping for ways they could be different from WWE... I'm glad that they're back to 4 sided ring.

Damn shame.........you want a little bit of variety Hogan, but you get rid one of the few things North America hasn't seen to total death (and don't try to count seeing AAA here on Galavision or whatever channel you have it on).
2 steps forward, 10 steps back.

That sucks. The 6 sided ring stands out while not taking away from anything.

Well, Hogan's there for 2 weeks and now he's basically ready to take over like he did to WCW in 1994...*sighs* :-( First the flunkies come in, now they take away the ring? Hogan's going to be TNA Champion at some point, I can almost count on it.

*sigh* It was inevitable, but I wish it had been just a little longer before the change. Oh well.
I won't be angry at all, as long as their new 4 sided ring is the same size as the WWE's. If it's tinier, then they're REALLY going to come across as trying to be like WWE. If it's tinier, they might've well have just stuck with six-sides.
Hopefully they were able to afford a nice, large four sided ring.

This is not a complaint against change, but why was it necessary to scrap the ring?
