April 25th, 2010 - Baltimore, MARYLAND
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
- The pyrotechnics explode and we are greeted by the announce team of Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Matt Striker. They run down the majority of the card for us, telling us that four Championships are on the line tonight, as well as some major grudge matches with lots at stake. We then get underway with out opening contest.
UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - LADDER MATCH; [Match Graphic] What a way to kick off Extreme Rules 2010! Edge and Christian were eager to start the match, being the ones with the most Ladder match experience. The match got underway and E&C backed up their claims, using the ladders to their advantage and taking ShoMiz out. Christian climbs to grab the titles, but Big Show's height advantage allows him to pull Christian from the top and down to the canvas. One spot included The Miz, Big Show and Edge as Edge went for a Spear, but was clotheslined by a ladder, thanks to ShoMiz. At one point, Big Show climbed the ladder as the crowd looked on holding their breath, and unfortunately for Big Show, E&C tipped up the ladder and sent him crashing to the canvas and out of the ring. The match went on for a while until eventually coming to an end when Edge missed a Spear and went right into a ladder in the corner, knocking him out cold. Big Show then drilled Christian with a Knockout Punch and placed the ladder over him. Big Show then stood on the ladder, stopping Christian from moving and allowed The Miz to climb and retrieve the belts, meaning that ShoMiz are still the Unified Tag Team Champions. SHOWMIZ RETAIN THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
- After the match, ShoMiz celebrated as Edge and Christian regrouped in disappointment. We then fade backstage.
- Backstage, we see Randy Orton with his WWE Championship, preparing for his Steel Cage match later tonight. His opponent, Ted DiBiase wanders in and the two stare down as the crowd cheer. DiBiase offers a hand to Orton and says "May the best man win". Orton looks at it for a moment and then takes it. The two pull towards each other and glare as we fade back to ringside.
WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP - 'I QUIT' MATCH; [Match Graphic] Michelle McCool came to the ring with Layla, Beth Phoenix came alone. McCool consulted with Layla first but it was no use as the power of Beth Phoenix allowed her to dominate McCool no matter what strategy she had. However, McCool used her intelligence to utilize submissions wherever she could, and at one stage, McCool used the ropes, knowing that there were No Disqualifications in this match. She had a chin lock on Phoenix, under the ropes, adding extra pressure. Phoenix managed to escape the clutches and get back to her dominating ways. Unfortunately for McCool, Phoenix went for the Glam Slam, but instead of dropping her face first, she kept her in the air, applying the Chickenwing and eventually forcing McCool to say the words 'I Quit!', meaning that Beth Phoenix is our new Womens Champion! Phoenix celebrates her victory over a hurting Michelle McCool. BETH PHOENIX BECOMES THE NEW WOMENS CHAMPION
- Afterwards, Layla enters the ring to help McCool, but Phoenix throws her out of the ring like the garbage, swiftly followed by McCool. Phoenix claims the ring as she lifts her newly won title high and we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for tomorrow night's Raw which will be the 3-hour long WWE Draft spectacular, featuring both brands. We then return to Extreme Rules.
- We see Josh Mathews backstage with CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena. He asks them how confident they are going into the Tables match. Punk says that being Straight Edge gives you a confidence that nobody else has, knowing that your body is free from narcotics and is fresh for the tasks ahead. He says that he and Luke Gallows will use their clear minds to destroy Jeff Hardy and John Morrison, and make sure they know that even they can't be saved by Straight Edge, and must therefore be eliminated from the WWE. They walk off and we cut back to the ring.
STRAIGHT EDGE SOCIETY VS. J.HARDY & J. MORRISON - TABLES MATCH; [Match Graphic] This match began rather slow, but definitely picked up pace later on. Jeff Hardy and John Morrison were dead set on shutting the corrupted mouths of the Straight Edge Society up for good. The tables came into play when CM Punk ordered Gallows to collect one. They set it up in the corner, and almost won the match when Punk was about to throw Hardy into it, but Morrison made the save. Gallows and Morrison battled outside the ring while Punk and Hardy did inside. Hardy set up a table and rolled CM Punk onto it before climbing up top to hit him with a Swanton Bomb. Gallows saw this, threw Morrison aside and leaped onto the apron, shoving Hardy off down to the floor. Morrison entered the ring and was jumped by both SES members. Punk told Gallows to put Morrison through the table with the Gallows Pole, but Hardy jumped into the ring and traded blows with Gallows. Morrison fought Punk and all heel broke loose. In the end, John Morrison hit a suicide dive outside of the ring onto Luke Gallows leaving Punk and Hardy in the ring. Both men were on the top turnbuckle and Hardy was about to throw Punk through it, but Punk locked in some sort of Pedigree hold and then leaped backwards, driving hardy through the table for the victory. The move is apparently called the Pepsi Plunge. The referee rings the bell and declares Punk and Gallows the winners. THE STRAIGHT EDGE SOCIETY DEF. J. HARDY & J. MORRISON
- The Straight Edge Society celebrate with Serena and John Morrison checks on Jeff Hardy. The Straight Edge Society leave as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit which will air on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then return to ringside.
- The theme of Sheamus hits to the confusion of the crowd. However, despite their confusion, he still receives a ton of heat as he makes his way down to the ring. He enters, grabs the microphone from Justin Roberts and speaks to the WWE Universe. He reminds us of his actions this past Monday on Raw, and we are shown a replay of Sheamus jumping Triple H on the Abraham Washington Show. He says that everyone has been asking him 'Why did you do it, Sheamus?'. He says that since losing his WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, he has been shoved lower and lower into the pack on Raw, and he thinks it's time for him to get back to the top, and for months he has seen Triple H and Shawn Michaels steal the Raw spotlight. Sheamus tells us that Shawn Michaels is lucky he decided to leave, because he would have suffered the exact same fate as Triple H did. He tells us that Triple H was physically unable to be here at Extreme Rules due to the attack, and he smirks at that. Sheamus says that he is issuing a challenge to Triple H, for a match at the next Pay per View, Over the Limit. He says that he wants this chance to climb back to the top where he should be, and Triple H has two weeks to accept the challenge, otherwise he will be branded a coward. Sheamus drops the microphone and leaves the ring to a chorus of boos. We then fade backstage.
- We see John Cena and Bret Hart backstage to a massive pop. Cena is preparing for his match with Batista later tonight, and Bret is preparing with him. Bret says "John, I want you to go out there for yourself, and for the fans, don't think about me, you do what's best for yourself". John pats him on the back and says he doesn't care about what he says, he will be fighting for the WWE Universe and Bret Hart tonight. Hart nods his head with a smile, but the duo are interrupted by The Straight Edge Society to a lot of heat. Punk wipes his face with a towel and smiles at Cena. The trio then walk off without saying a word as Cena and Hart look at each other in confusion. We then return to ringside and see the Steel Cage being lowered.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - STEEL CAGE MATCH; [Match Graphic]Both Orton and DiBiase enter the structure and stare off. They nod at each other and the bell rings as the match gets underway. It goes back and forth, the two clearly developing a mutual respect for each other over the past few weeks. Orton gets a fantastic reaction from the crowd, and DiBiase gets a decent pop too. They battle and a few nice spots take place. DiBiase attempts to escape the cage, but Orton quickly climbs the ropes and yanks him off, sending him spine first into the canvas. Orton tries to escape through the door, but DiBiase drags the door shut, clipping Orton's head. The battle goes on furiously until it looks like DiBiase is in control. He tries to escape over the cage, but Orton climbs up and they trade fists on the top. The two eventually drop down to the top rope and then, Randy Orton hits an outstanding top-rope RKO, driving DiBiase to the canvas. He then covers him for the victory. RANDY ORTON RETAINS THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
- Randy Orton holds his title high as he celebrates with the Baltimore crowd. DiBiase gets to his feet and the two stand face to face. Orton raises DiBiase's hand with the WWE Championship in his other hand and the two stand tall as we fade backstage.
- Josh Mathews is once again backstage, this time, with Batista and Mr. McMahon to a ton of heat. Mathews goes to ask some questions, but McMahon tells him to shut his mouth. He snatches the microphone and exclaims "Bret, I won't allow you to get your filthy hands on my company, ever! Tonight, Batista is going to destroy John Cena, and you are going to be nothing but a name after tonight is over. Bret, you deserved to be screwed!" Both men leave and we fade to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring multiple WWE superstars. We then return to Extreme Rules.
BATISTA VS. JOHN CENA - NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH; [Match Graphic] An incredible match and a tough one to follow. Both Bret Hart and Mr. McMahon were at ringside, cheering on their chosen superstar. The battle goes back and forth. The fight spills to the outside and Batista rips apart the announce table before cracking Cena over the skull with the TV monitor. Batista then lifts Cena up and taunts to the crowd, claiming he is about to drive Cena through th announce table with a Batista Bomb. However, Cena fights out of it and instead, lifts Batista onto his shoulders and drives him through the table, reversing the situation. The two are down for a moment, but the battle continue and returns into the ring. But not before John Cena has pulled out a Singapore cane from under the ring, followed by a table. Cena smacks Batista multiple times with the Singapore cane, causing Batista to scream in agony. He continues to do it until the stick is falling to pieces. Cena then sets up the table and goes for an Attitude Adjustment, but Batista slips out and instead delivers a huge Spinebuster through the table. He covers Cena, but only gets a two count. Batista leaves the ring once more and pulls the steel steps apart. He throws the bottom half into the ring and tells us that he is going to Batista Bomb Cena onto them, like he has done before. He lifts Cena up and even gets him on his shoulders, but he manages to slip off and goes for an Attitude Adjustment, but Mr. McMahon intervenes and kicks Cena in the gut. That was a big mistake as Hart leaps into the ring and tackles McMahon to the canvas. Batista gets up and once again goes for a Batista Bomb, but once again, Cena lifts Batista onto his shoulders and this time, he connects with the Attitude Adjustment onto the steel steps, followed by a swift three count! John Cena has defeated Batista for the first time in his entire career, and as a result, Bret Hart now holds a 50% share in the WWE! McMahon looks on in shock as Hart and Cena celebrate in the ring over a downed Batista. JOHN CENA DEF. BATISTA
- Mr. McMahon looks into his hands and says something to himself in disbelief. Hart looks at McMahon and motions that they are now business partners. McMahon leaves as Batista rolls out of the ring. We then fade backstage.
- We see Theodore Long backstage, just witnessing the victory of John Cena. Long smirks at the fact that Hart will now be taking control along with McMahon. Long turns around and bumps into Chris Jericho. Jericho tells Long that after tonight, when he wins the World Heavyweight Championship, he is officially booking a celebration this Friday on SmackDown for everyone to show their respect for him. Long tells Jericho that he needs to concentrate on actually winning the match first. Jericho tells Long that he is disgusted at him even doubting him. The lights flicker in the office and Jericho looks around before fleeing. Long chuckles as we fade to ringside.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - CASKET MATCH; [Match Graphic] Before the match, the druids brought down a Casket for the contest and then Jericho makes his way to the ring. He looks rather cautious of the casket and keeps his distance. Undertaker enters and the match begins. The two lock up in this WrestleMania rematch with the stipulation twist. Undertaker takes control and instantly tries to throw Jericho in the casket, but Jericho won't let him. Undertaker delivers some hard shot, trying to edge Jericho closer to the casket. Jericho trips Undertaker onto the middle rope and closes the lid, guillotining him on the ropes. Jericho rols Undertaker towards the casket, but 'Taker's veteran instincts won't allow it. He sits up and grabs Jericho by the throat and launches him over the ropes, dropping him into the casket. The crowd go nuts as Undertaker goes to close the lid, but Jericho scrambles out and runs up the ramp to safety. Undertaker follows him and drags him back, ramming him head first into the casket. He then rolls him back in the ring and signals for a Tombstone Piledriver. Before Jericho can get to his feet, NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett rushes to the scene and attacks Undertaker from behind. Talk about Rookie mistakes... Undertaker grabs him by the throat and Chokeslams him to the canvas. Barrett then rolls out of the ring. However, maybe it wasn't so dumb after all as when Undertaker turns around, he walks right into a Codebreaker from Jericho. Jericho then rolls 'Taker towards the casket and drops him in. He goes to shut the lid, but the hand of The Undertaker grabs the throat of Jericho and prevents him from doing it. Undertaker is about to stand up, but out of nowhere, Jericho locks in the Walls of Jerichop whilst inside the casket. Undertaker does not tap but begins to lose conciousness from the pain. Wade Barrett rushes around the ring and Jericho leaps out of the casket and both men slam the lid shut, making Jericho our new World Heavyweight Champion! CHRIS JERICHO BECOMES THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
- Both Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett lay on the casket as Jericho receives the World Title from the referee. The referee tries to get Jericho and Barrett away but they won't leave. Jericho tells Barrett to go under the ring, and he does, only to pull out a padlock. Barrett locks the casket shut, imprisoning The Undertaker. Jericho and Barrett roll the casket up the ramp and roll it behind the curtain. We are the taken backstage where we see Jericho and Barrett with the casket, rolling it down a corridor. They then reach a ledge which is above a stock pile of equipment such as speakers and guard rails and such. Jericho and Barrett look at each other as Jericho shouts "I said I would finish you for good!" Barrett and Jericho then roll the casket off of the ledge to the shock of the crowd and it crashes down to the bottom. Jericho raises his World Heavyweight Championship and smirks as EMTs and referees rush to the scene, telling Jericho to back off. WWE Extreme Rules fades to a close backstage on a shot of EMTs and referees climbind down to the casket which apparently contains The Undertaker.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS April 26th, 2010 - This past Sunday at Extreme Rules, we all saw the aftermath of the Main Event. This was a way to write-off The Undertaker from WWE TV as he is taking his annual break until later this year. It is highly expected that this break will be somewhat longer than previous years due to increasing back and knee problems, giving him more time to heal up. Many people are suspecting that this could be Undertaker's last year in the WWE, however, Calaway has stated that he believes he has a few more years in him yet, and as long as he can physically do it, you can bet the WWE will use him as much as possible.
- According to sources, Triple H is delaying his time off to start a program with Sheamus running into the Summer. However, don't expect Triple H to be appearing every single week in action, as they are still resting him to make sure nothing major takes place. He is expected to have a Pay Per View deal of some sort where he will face Sheamus at Pay Per Views, and occasionally wrestle on Raw shows until he takes time off for surgery.
- Rey Mysterio hasn't been seen on SmackDown in a while, and the reason is that during the European Tour, Mysterio suffered an injury to his ankle which has deemed him unable to compete. He is resting it at the moment, but expect him back within the next month.
- Tonight, the WWE Draft takes place. It is expected that some big names will be shifted around to really shake things up this year. It was also announced via WWE.com that the Supplemental Draft would take place on Wednesday afternoon and will be hosted by WWE Hall of Famer, Howard Finkel.
- With Bret Hart now kayfabe owning 50% of the WWE, it is expected that the Guest Host stuff will be cut. No Guest Host has been scheduled for tonight's show. However, word from within the company is that Raw Guest Hosts will continue, but they won't be a weekly deal. According to the source, Guest Hosts will be used rarely to hype up Pay Per Views or shows, so The Rock Guest Hosting Raw is still in the mix, and is likely to happen sometime in the Summer when he has spare time.

WWE Extreme Rules: Sunday 25th April 2010...Extreme Rules was in actual fact a good show in real life, and so I am expecting a solid showing here also. Interesting yet very appealing way to kick off the pay-per-view, however, with Tables, Ladders and Chairs going on between ShoMiz and Edge and Christian all over the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships. I would have been up for a spot were Edge and The Miz for example, took a belt each and had to battle for the other two seperately, but this was a fine opening contest. I am glad that ShoMiz retained and look forward to Edge and Christian and where they go now. I anticipate them feuding this summer. I found CM Punk against Rey Mysterio a bizarre choice for second match, and so this I Quit match for the WWE Womens Championship was much better. Beth Phoenix beating Michelle McCool is fine; McCool had a good few reigns. I am a little sketchy at this match going on third, but it was fine I suppose, and the Straight Edge Society overcoming Jeff Hardy and John Morrison in a Tables match is acceptable. I suppose I wish Morrison and Hardy won here, admittedly. Sheamus' promo was pretty odd, but I see what it was about now. Triple H and Sheamus held off for Over the Limit though is a strange booking decision and should have been booked for tonight. Plus, this confirms that Sheamus and Hunter will be on the same brand, probably RAW after the Draft and thus eliminates the purpose of the 'shake up after WrestleMania'. Randy Orton beating Ted Dibiase was predictable; a fine mid-show main event as it is a very wise decision for you to put a WWE Championship match away from the World Heavyweight Championship match (which will main event) in this spot. Also after Sheamus' promo; that was smart despite that booking flaw mentioned earlier. Next, a sweet positioned match between Batista and John Cena; very heated, very intense and a great yet likely win for Cena over Batista. I saw Bret Hart staying around somehow; but Batista's momentum now is debatable. Lastly, a predictable Casket match to send off The Undertaker for the rest of spring/summer. Chris Jericho as World Heavyweight Champion again makes 'Taker's reign from WrestleMania random now, but nevermind. Overall, an ingeniusly booked show; very enjoyable.

-Great opening match-up. I thought Edge and Christian would win because it's their kind of match. But still happy with the outcome. -Happy that Beth Phoenix won the Women's Champion. -As much as I like Straight Edge Society, I really wanted J. Hardy and J. Morrison to win. After all that suffering that Punk put Hardy through, Hardy should've won. -By the way, I like the format. I really thought that Ted would pull one of those one second fast escape shockers and become the WWE Champion. But I guess more build would help. -YES!!!!CENA DID IT! Cena finally beat Batista. Would've preferred for him to win it at WrestleMania but now they can continue on with the rivalry. Hope Cena wins the WWE Title now. -Wow! Shocker to see Jericho retain! Would've thought Taker would win his match. But that what's great here. The shockers. I rate this show an A. My only worry was the third match.

-Opening the show with the Ladder match was a good call, but I'm not a fan of ShowMiz retaining. I feel like they've been Champions for too long and E&C needed this. Unless this leads to a break up and an Edge vs. Christian feud -Beth winning with with the Glam Slam/Chickenwing was the right call -Punk's backstage promo was great. The Tables match sounded great and Punk busting out the Pepsi Plunge is awesome. Although as much as I love it, I'm not sure WWE would allow that move since it too closely resembles the Pedigree -Sheamus getting mic time is good and him vs. Triple H at Over the Limit should be okay -Orton retaining made the most sense. I see Dibiase moving to Smackdown in the draft -Cena/Batista sounded brutal. Even though I don't like Cena, I'm glad he won here since Batista beat him at 'Mania. And Bret getting 50% is great and could lead to so many interesting angles -Jericho making 'Taker pass out and shutting the casket was a great idea. The post match stuff was good also and it allows for 'Taker to take time off
Great PPV as usual, glad Jericho is Champion now. I can't wait for the draft.

- Good opening match, not too fond of ShowMiz retaining. - Beth winning is the right call, and awesome she is the champ. - Awesome tables match, and Straight Edge Society winning is sweet. - Sheamus getting a promo in the PPV gives him some time - him vs HHH is fine. - Orton retaining is good as DiBiase isn't ready yet. - Cena and Batista was great, Cena winning was the right call here cause he lost to Batista at Mania. Bret getting half the WWE is interesting, was skeptical about it when you had it announced, but shall be good if you have him become the Raw General Manager or something. Expecting some good storylines with that now. - Jericho getting assistance from Barrett to beat Taker is good. Gives time for Taker to go off, and the post match stuff was sweet. Jericho as World Champion is awesome.
Great PPV as expected.

April 26th, 2010 - Richmond, VIRGINIA.
Goldust def. Zack Ryder
Cody Rhodes def. Chris Masters
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
- The pyrotechnics explode from the stage as the WWE Draft logo appears on the HD panels. We are greeted by the broadcast team of Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Matt Striker. They tell us what a success WWE Extreme Rules was last night, and thank everyone for watching. They remind us that two titles changed hands on the SmackDown side of things as Beth Phoenix became the new Womens Champion, and Chris Jericho became the new World Heavyweight Champion. They say that tonight is the WWE Draft and they have some brilliant Raw versus SmackDown matches set. They are then interrupted by the theme of Bre Hart.
- Bret Hart comes to the ring to a huge pop, fresh of the heels of Extreme Rules where John Cena defeated Batista, earning Hart 50% of the company. He enters the ring and begins to speak to the WWE Universe. First off, he gives a huge thanks to John Cena, and congratulates him on his victory last night. He says that now he holds 50% of the company, he can have some control over what happens within the WWE. He tells us that his first act as co-owner is going to be making the Main Event for tonight's show. He is about to speak, but is cut off by the theme of CM Punk to a ton of heat. The Straight Edge Society come out with smiles on their faces. They enter the ring and Punk speaks to Hart. Punk tells him that last night, he and Luke Gallows defeated John Morrison and Jeff Hardy by putting them through tables, and tonight, feels he deserves the Main Event spot to represent SmackDown. Hart asks Punk why he thinks that is the case, saying that he is a disgusting control freak. Punk tells Hart to watch his mouth, telling him that he only owns half of the company, and McMahon still owns the other half. Hart says "Alright then, you will be in the Main Event tonight representing SmackDown, and you will be fighting for two draft picks!" Punk nods his head as Gallows and Serena pat him on the back. Hart then drops a bombshell, telling him his opponent would be none other than John Cena! Punk's jaw drops and he tries to get out of the situation, saying he didn't have that in mind, but Hart tells him to deal with it and leaves the ring to a pop as Raw fades to a promo package.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
SHEAMUS def. VLADIMIR KOZLOV; A good match to kick things off tonight on Raw. Sheamus was clearly smug about his challenge to Triple H last night on Extreme Rules, and Triple H is yet to answer. Vladimir Kozlov puts up a good fight, but in the end, it was Sheamus with a huge Bicycle Kick to the skull that put Kozlov away. After the match, Sheamus grabbed the microphone and once again challenged Triple H to the match, saying that he wants an answer before next week's Raw, otherwise he will be classed as a coward in front of the WWE Universe for backing off. Despite these remarks, Triple H does not come out and Sheamus chuckles before dropping the microphone and the randomizer hits the titantron.
The first Draft pick for Raw! - Out comes Christian as Sheamus looks on with a smirk. He searches the crowd with his taunt and points out a few peeps before pointing at Sheamus, telling him to watch out. We then cut to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
- We return to see Edge backstage, pulling his hair back as Christian walks into the locker room. He tells Edge that it's going to be fine and he enjoyed their reuinion, however short it may have been. Edge nods his head and hugs Christian, wishing him luck on Raw. The Miz and the Big Show walk in as Miz does his "Really?" routine. He laughs at the 'sweet' segment between the brothers. Miz says that now they have split, ShoMiz can find some proper challengers for the Unified Tag Team Championships. Christian chuckles and tells Miz he is forgetting something. He says that now he is a Raw superstar, he is able to challenge for Miz's United States Championship, and with no Guest Host this week, he is challenging Miz to a United States Championship match next week, and it will happen! Edge and Christian walk off as Miz looks on with a blank expression. Big Show slowly backs off, knowing The Miz is angry. The crowd laugh as we cut to ringside.
MICHELLE MCCOOL & LAYLA def. GAIL KIM & KELLY KELLY; Michelle McCool was pretty angry after her loss to Beth Phoenix last night at Extreme Rules and it showed in this match, It was rather quick and finished with McCool hitting Kelly with the Fathbreaker for the victory. McCool didn't even celebrate afterwards as both her and Layla stormed up the ramp as Gail Kim checked on Kelly as the randomizer comes up.
The first Draft pick for SmackDown! - LayCool are stopped at the top of the ramp as the theme of Melina hits the system, and to the shock of the crowd, she walks out onto the stage right in front of McCool and Layla. Melina waves at McCool who gets even more angry and walks around her as Melina taunts to the crowd. We then cut backstage.
- We see new Womens Champion, Beth Phoenix watching a TV, seeing Michelle McCool's anger and Melina's draft. Phoenix turns around and bumps into the Divas Champion, Maryse. Maryse says something to Phoenix in French and then translates it, saying "I am the better Champion, and a real woman!" Phoenix says "I'd watch your mouth missy, because I might just slap it off in the future..." Maryse looks shocked as the crowd cheer. Phoenix walks off and we fade further backstage.
- We are shown Theodore Long backstage with his former assistant, Vickie Guerrero who is now on Raw. Stood alongside Vickie is her nephew, Chavo Guerrero. Long says that tonight is SmackDown's night because he can feel it in his blood. Vickie turns her nose up and says that SmackDown no longer has her, and therefore isn't worth anything. Long says "Vickie, I'll have you know that our ratings have rocketed since you left SmackDown" as the crowd laugh. Vickie screams "Excuse me?!" at Long as Chavo calms her down. Chavo says that if Long feels so confident, then why doesn't he put his best SmackDown star against him later tonight for a draft pick. Long agrees and tells Chavo to be ready for later tonight. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
BIG SHOW & THE MIZ wins the Battle Royal for TEAM RAW; Other participants: Evan Bourne, MVP, Jack Swagger, John Morrison, Jeff Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, Matt Hardy & Kane This Ten-Man Battle Royal was for two draft picks, and an epic bout it was. First eliminated was Evan Bourne, launched over the top by Kane. Jack Swagger was next to go thanks to Dolph Ziggler and Matt Hardy. However, Dolph Ziggler was swiftly eliminated by MVP. MVP was tossed over the top by John Morrison and Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy was eliminated by The Miz. John Morrison and Jeff Hardy were eliminated by ShoMiz and then finally Kane was double teamed by ShoMiz, eliminating him, giving the victory to Team Raw. ShoMiz celebrate as the randomizer appears.
The second Draft pick for Raw! The third Draft pick for Raw! - Kane and Matt Hardy look at each other, both competing in the previous match. Jeff Hardy confronts his brother and hugs him, wishing him luck on Raw. Hardy looks like he is hugging him back, but suddenly, he delivers a low blow to Jeff and throws him to the floor. John Morrison steps in front of him and tells him to back off. Matt Hardy leaves to a chorus of boos as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring multiple WWE superstars.
EZEKIEL JACKSON def. REY MYSTERIO; Every single week, Ezekiel Jackson impresses more and more of us. He comes to the ring with William Regal who plays a vital role in this match. Rey Mysterio has Jackson hung up for the 619, but Regal protects his protoge by hugging his head, meaning he was hit with the 619 instead. Mysterio became distracted and springboarded off the ropes, only to land in the hands of Ezekiel Jackson and be dropped to the mat with the Book of Ezekiel. Jackson and Regal celebrate as the randomizer appears.
The fourth Draft pick for Raw! - The crowd go wild as the image of Rey Mysterio appears on-screen. Jackson immediately looks down at Mysterio and lifts him up, only to drive him back down with another Book of Ezekiel, making an impact on the latest addition to the Raw roster. We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
EDGE def. CHAVO GUERRERO; Chavo was pretty cocky, until he saw Edge make an entrance. Edge put Chavo away with ease, defeating him with a huge Spear and winning the draft pick for SmackDown. Vickie Guerrero holds her head in her hands, witnessing her nephew be defeated by her ex-husband.
The second Draft pick for SmackDown! - The pyrotechnics explode as the Big Show makes his way onto the stage. He smirks and points towards the ring at Edge. Edge looks on with an angry face, but in a sudden flash, World Champion, Chris Jericho slides into the ring and nails Edge with a Codebreaker. Jericho screams at Edge, saying "You want your shot? Come on then, Edge!" We then fade backstage.
- We see the WWE Champion, Randy Orton backstage, getting ready for a match up next. Ted DiBiase walks in, to a pop. DiBiase and Orton stand face to face after their Steel Cage match last night at Extreme Rules. DiBiase says "Randy, last night we had a great match, and tonight, we are teaming, and we are going to win one for Raw!" Orton nods his head in agreement and tells Ted that they are a team tonight, but The Legacy is still defunct. DiBiase nods and walks away as we fade to ringside.
THE HART DYNASTY def. RANDY ORTON & TED DIBIASE; The Hart DYnasty definitely shined in this one. The match went back and forth until nearing the end when Randy Orton was in control. He grabbed Tyson Kidd and was ready to hit him with an RKO, but out of nowhere, Cody Rhodes runs to the ring and distracts Orton. DiBiase jumps of the apron and follows Rhodes up the ramp, telling him to get lost. Orton shouts for DiBiase to come back, but it's too late as he turns around into David Hart Smith and The Hart Dynasty hit the Hart Attack for the victory. The Hart Dynasty celebrate with Natalya as the randomizer appears.
The third Draft pick for SmackDown! - And what a coincidence, Ted DiBiase is the man drafted to SmackDown! DiBiase returns to the ring and helps Orton to his feet. He then puts out his hand and the two shake hands... BAM! Million Dollar Dream! DiBiase wasn't leaving Raw without making an impact. DiBiase celebrates over the WWE Champion as we fade to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
- We return to see John Cena backstage with Josh Mathews. He asks him how he feels abou facing CM Punk in the Main Event tonight. He says that he watches SmackDown, and he has seen Punk's idiotic claims and his corrupting ceremonies, and he wouldn't mind putting a stop to that tonight. He says that he plans on brining Raw two draft picks, whether the Straight Edge Society says so or not! He walks off and we fade to ringside.
KOFI KINGSTON def. DREW MCINTYRE; A very good match right here, putting the Intercontinental Champion against the current Money in the Bank holder. The match goes back and forth, both men getting even amounts of offence. However, McIntyre was looking to end the match, but Kingston slips out and drills McIntyre with the Trouble In Paradise for the victory. Kingston lifts his briefcase high as he and the WWE Universe watch the randomizer at work.
The fifth Draft pick for Raw! - Kofi Kingston smiles as John Morrison walks onto the stage. The two trade a quick nod of the head as Morrison gives a friendly point to Kingston. McIntyre flees with his Intercontinental Championship as we fade backstage.
- ShoMiz are backstage talking about Big Show being drafted to SmackDown. Miz says that as long as they hold the Unified Tag Team Championships, they can still team, just like him and Jericho. Big Show tells him to never compare them to him and Jericho in any way. He says that he doesn't plan on splitting with The Miz quicker than he did with Jericho, so they should just focus on keeping the belts. The Miz reminds him that he has a United States Championship match with Christian next week, and he has to keep that. Big Show tells him that he will be there to watch his back, and make sure he walks out with the gold. We then cut further backstage.
- Bret Hart is in his office speaking with The Hart Dynasty. They congratulate him on his new position and ask him what McMahon thinks. Hart tells them that he has refused to come to Raw this week simply because he knew that he would be there. The Hart Dynasty laugh and say they wish they were on Raw so they could spend more training time with Bret. Hart reminds them off the Supplement Draft tomorrow night and says "I'll see what I can do". We then cut to a commercial break.
C O M M E R C I A L B R E A K
- We return and see a package reminding us of the Supplement Draft tomorrow night at Noon ET. We then return to Raw for the Main Event.
CM PUNK def. JOHN CENA; CM Punk obviously comes out with Luke Gallows and Serena. Both men fight for their brand, John Cena still hot of the heels of his victory over Batista last night in their No Holds Barred match. CM Punk tries to ground Cena with his roundhouse kicks, but Cena catches him and hits him with a Fishermans Suplex. He then drives down with the FIve Knuckle Shuffle. He is about to go for an Attitude Adjustment, but as Cena lifts him up, Punk swings his leg and catches the referee in the face, knocking him to the canvas. Cena hits it and covers Punk, but the referee is out. Cena tries to revive the referee, but out of nowhere, Batista enters the ring and Spears him. Batista is clearly angered at his loss to Cena last night at Extreme Rules. He lifts Cena up and plants him with a Batista Bomb before leaving the ring. Luke Gallows wakes the referee up through the ropes and CM Punk covers John Cena for the three count, giving the draft picks to SmackDown. The Straight Edge Society celebrate the victory as Batista stands outside the ring, angrily staring at John Cena. The randomizer then kicks in.
The fourth Draft pick for SmackDown! The fifth Draft pick for SmackDown! - MVP makes his way onto the stage and taunts to the crowd, letting CM Punk know that he is on SmackDown for now. He is followed by Kofi Kingston who comes out with the Money in the Bank briefcase and flashes it around. He signals that he will be World Champion soon with the briefcase and then Raw fades to a close on a shot of Batista staring into the eyes of John Cena who is stomach down on the mat.
QUICK DRAFT RECAP CHRISTIAN to Raw. MELINA to SmackDown. KANE to Raw. MATT HARDY to Raw. REY MYSTERIO to Raw. BIG SHOW to SmackDown. TED DIBIASE to SmackDown. JOHN MORRISON to Raw. MVP to SmackDown. KOFI KINGSTON to SmackDown.

-Punk/Cena in the main event for two draft picks is great. I can see Cena getting a World or WWE Title shot next for helping Bret get half the company -Sheamus/Kozlov would've been a boring match probably, but it makes sense for Sheamus to win. Christian to Raw is a move I'm not a big fan of -I love the sound of Christian/Miz for the United States Title next week, hoping Christian wins it -Melina moving to Smackdown is good as her matches with Melina were rather good last year -I have a feeling that Chavo's going to take a loss later -ShowMiz winning the Battle Royal was a good call, although I feel like Kane & Matt Hardy are going to get lost in the shuffle on Raw. Matt's heel turn was a nice touch though -Ezekiel beating Rey is big for his career and I like Rey being the one to get drafted -Edge over Chavo was obvious and Show moving to SD is a decent move. Can't wait to see Jericho/Edge for the World Title -I love the Dynasty getting a pin on Randy Orton. Dibiase's heel turn was excellently done -Kofi beating McIntyre was a good idea and Morrison to Raw sounds good -Love that Punk won the main event, even though it was with interference. Getting MVP & Kofi was big for Smackdown. A Punk/MVP feud could be great
Great Draft Raw, looking forward to the Supplemental Draft.

WWE RAW: Monday 26th April 2010...Alright, personally I would have made WWE Superstars taped fully with all four matches taped here, logically thinking. Goldust beating Zack Ryder is mildly disappointing, but Cody Rhodes beating Chris Masters is acceptable. Bret Hart opening things up with the WWE Draft edition of RAW is good; decent promo congratulating and thanking John Cena. CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society then interrupting him is actually very good; as it is an amazing opportunity for Punk and the Society to move upwards in the company. Sheamus beating Vladimir Kozlov definitely came as no surprise, since Kozlov has merely been pushing up daisies for other superstars since ECW ended in February. Sheamus winning was also best; but of course he isn't going to go anywhere since he's facing Triple H at Over the Limit [supposedly]. Christian to RAW is a positive step; but could benefit better on SmackDown; at least on SmackDown he has World Heavyweight Champion potential. Edge in my mind should have gone to RAW instead. Team LayCool winning a pick for SmackDown is good; no problem beating Gail Kim and Kelly Kelly. Meh, Melina; not good for SmackDown. I hope they don't get screwed like in real life. ShoMiz winning the battle royal for RAW is pretty genius; I just wish that SmackDown would get some picks. Fine first-hour main event, too. Meh, Kane on RAW makes for fresh storylines; but Matt Hardy on RAW is pretty lame. Would have much preferred Jeff Hardy going to RAW, as since his return he has been underutilized. So has John Morrison, Jack Swagger and MVP. Ezekiel Jackson gaining a win over Rey Mysterio is great, as it elevates Zeke; but Rey Mysterio going to RAW definitely means it isn't over yet. Edge beating his former La Familia associate, Chavo Guerrero is fine; swift victory, but Big Show to SmackDown? It's like SmackDown is a litter tray even in your diary. The Hart Dynasty beating Randy Orton and Ted Dibiase definitely gets Dynasty over well. Cody Rhodes' involvement was good, too. If Cody stays on RAW, and Dibiase on SmackDown: that is good. Kofi Kingston beating Drew McIntyre is fine;' not a bad decision there as the Money in the Bank briefcase holder winning is good. John Morrison to RAW is fine, I suppose. At least now he's solo. CM Punk beating John Cena is great; Batista's involvement was fine. And MVP & Kofi Kingston heading for SmackDown is best. A good show overall; but again I feel like SmackDown got the dirt from RAW; whilst RAW got the jewels from SmackDown.

April 27th, 2010 - Hershey, PA.
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
- Matt Striker is shown backstage, without the NXT Rookies this time. He tells us that the final of NXT is coming soon and the four remaining Rookies are hoping to make it. He says that tonight, just like last week, the WWE Universe will decide who leaves the competition, and that will be counted up later tonight. But first, on with the action. We then cut to the ring.
CHRIS JERICHO def. JUSTIN GABRIEL; Wade Barrett accompanied his Pro, Chris Jericho to the ring. In this Pro versus Rookie match, there was a bit of confusion amidst the WWE Universe. Matt Hardy was not present alongside Justin Gabriel, despite this being a huge match. The new World Heavyweight Champion picked apart the Rookie, eventually finishing him off with the Walls of Jericho, forcing him to tap out. Jericho and Barrett celebrated the victory, Jericho clearly boasting about his recent World Title victory at Extreme Rules. We see Justin Gabriel get to his feet and look up the ramp for Matt, but he is nowhere to be seen. We then cut to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for this Friday's SmackDown, advertising the 'Chris Jericho Victory Celebration'. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see Matt Striker alongside David Otunga. He asks Otunga where his Pro, R-Truth is. Otunga tells Striker he told Truth to go home because he doesn't need him tonight, or any other night for that matter. He says that tonight, he will defeat Daniel Bryan in the Main Event and go one step closer to becoming the latest WWE acquisition. Striker asks him if he is confident that he will remain in the competition, reminding him that the WWE Universe are deciding who is eliminated. Otunga says that if the WWE Universe know true talent, they will keep him in. He walks off and we cut to the ring.
- We hear the theme of the Unified Tag Team and United States Champion, The Miz. He comes out longside his partner, the Big Show and they enter the ring. Miz speaks to the WWE Universe. He tells us that he is supposed to be the mentor of Daniel Bryan, but people think he hasn't been that much of a help to Bryan. Miz says that Bryan deserves every defeat he gets, because he is a worthless independant wash-up who thinks he is better than he really is. He says how at first, he wanted to get off of NXT, but now he enjoys the show because he gets to see Daniel Bryan destroyed each and every week. The crowd boo, but are pleased when they see Daniel Bryan walk down the ramp. He enters the ring, not looking intimidated in the slightest and speaks to The Miz. He says "Miz, you're right, I've got myself beaten a fair amount of times, and yes, I have the worst win/loss record on NXT, but that hasn't stopped me from trying harder and harder to win this competition, and obviously the WWE Universe like what I'm doing!" The Miz laughs and says that the WWE Universe know nothing, and couldn't find talent if it hit them in the face. Daniel Bryan tells The Miz that he has had enough of him running his mouth and challenges him to a rematch from the first episode of WWE NXT. He says that he beat Miz then, and he will do it again. The Miz says "Daniel, I'll tell you what. I'll face you on the very last episode of WWE NXT, if you make it past tonight". Daniel Bryan is happy and nods his head, putting out his hand to secure the agreement. The Miz takes it, but suddenly spins Bryan round and hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale! ShoMiz leave and we are told that David Otunga is on his way for the Main Event tonight! We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see a promo package for WWE Over the Limit, airing on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then return to NXT.
DAVID OTUNGA def. DANIEL BRYAN; Daniel Bryan managed to get to his feet, but David Otunga had control the entire match. Bryan had a spurt of offence at one point, but Otunga wouldn't let it go anywhere, and used his strength to keep Bryan down. In the end, Bryan got caught with a Spinebuster and Otunga picked up the victory. After the match, Otunga celebrated and Matt Striker entered the ring, along with Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel.
- Matt Striker says that the votes have been counted and varified, and he can now reveal that the fifth Rookie to be eliminated from WWE NXT is... David Otunga! Suddenly, Otunga stops celebrating and becomes extremely angry. He snatches the microphone from Matt Striker and shouts "What the hell?! I am Mr. NXT, I can't be eliminated!". R-Truth rushes to the ring and starts to reason with Otunga, but it was a bad idea as Otunga lifts him up and plants him with a Spinebuster. Otunga storms out of the ring as NXT fades to a close.

- Jericho defeating Gabriel is good. I wonder what happened with Matt Hardy - I hate Otunga, but you book him so well - I love the ShowMiz-Daniel segment; that was great - Otunga defeating Daniel was obviously wise because of the beatdown - Otunga getting eliminated wasn’t a shocker, but it was executed perfectly - I love that he beat down R-Truth after the match - Good show, but it seemed extremely short.

April 30th, 2010 - Hershey, PA.
Cryme Tyme & Yoshi Tatsu def. The Dudebusters
Alicia Fox def. Tiffany
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
CUE OPENING PACKAGE
- The pyrotechnics explode and we see Todd Grisham and Matt Striker, ready for a jam-packed edition of SmackDown, featuring the new talent, thanks to the WWE Draft this past Monday on Raw. They remind us that tonight, we will see the 'Chris Jericho Victory Celebration', requested by the man himself. They also tell us that the new talent will be in action as the Money in the Bank holder, Kofi Kingston takes on the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre in a rematch from this past Monday on Raw. We then hear the theme of CM Punk and he comes out along with his Straight Edge Followers, Luke Gallows and Serena. He enters the ring and speaks to the WWE Universe.
- He brags about how he and Luke Gallows defeated Jeff Hardy and John Morrison at Extreme Rules and now he is moving onto bigger things than those two 'addiction driven idiots'. He says "I think the Straight Edge Society has proved its point so far, and we plan to continue to make our mark on the WWE Universe, and to do that, I want my shot at the World Heavyweight Championship!" The crowd boo, but Gallows and Serena clap and nod their heads. Punk raises his hand and starts to go into preech mode, but is cut off by the theme of General Manager, Theodore Long. Long tells Punk that we already have a #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, but if Punk wants to make an impact, he can do it here tonight by taking on one of the two draft picks he earned SmackDown on Raw. Long tells us that tonight it will be CM Punk versus MVP in our Main Event. Long leaves as Punk looks disappointed. We then cut to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring SmackDown superstar, Edge. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
TED DIBIASE def. CARLITO; This was definitely a match to put DiBiase over, but it wasn't all one-sided. However, in the end, DiBiase managed to hit Carlito with Dream Street and then cover him for the three count. After the match, DiBiase celebrated his first SmackDown win, until he was attacked by another draftee, Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger beat down DiBiase exclaiming "I am the future of SmackDown, not you!" Swagger obviously wants to make an impact and stands tall over a downed DiBiase as we fade backstage.
- Theodore Long is in his office, and is then joined by MVP to a pop from the crowd. MVP thanks Long for putting him in the Main Event tonight and giving him a chance to shine on SmackDown. Long tells MVP it's good to have him back where he blongs on Friday nights, and MVP says it's good to be back. The two are interrupted by the duo of Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes. Ryder casually taps MVP out of the way and speaks to Long. He asks Long what he has planned for him on SmackDown. Long says "As a matter of fact, I have a match scheduled for you tonight, Zack, teaming with Miss Mendes, too". The two seem intrigued before Long reveals that the two will be teaming up to take on Goldust and Hornswoggle... next! Ryder's eyebrows raise as Long smiles and says "Enjoy". MVP chuckles to himself as Ryder and Mendes leave. We then cut to a promo package.
- A promo package for WWE Over the Limit is shown, airing on the 23rd of May, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
ZACK RYDER & ROSA MENDES def. GOLDUST & HORNSWOGGLE; This was billed as a Mixed Tag Team match. The crowd were obviously behind 'HornDust' as they have been dubbed by Matt Striker. Goldust was all over Ryder, and the result was looking to be going a similar way to their WWE Superstars bout, but Ryder tagged in Mendes, meaning Goldust must tag in Hornswoggle. He does and then Mendes distracts the referee. Ryder hits a mini-Zack Attack on Hornswoggle with the referee distracted, and Goldust trying to get Rosa Mendes to back off from the referee. Rosa Mendes then covers Hornswogle and gets the victory. Goldust wonders what happened as Ryder and Mendes flee from ringside. They celebrate as Goldust comforts Hornswoggle and we fade backstage.
- Josh Mathews is backstage with the Money in the Bank holder, Kofi Kingston. Mathews asks him how it feels to be on SmackDown for the first time in his career. Kingston tells him that he couldn't be happier, and is always ready to try something new. Mathews then asks him when he is thinking of cashing in his contract, but Kingston just smiles at him and taps his nose before walking off. We then cut to ringside.
DREW MCINTYRE def. KOFI KINGSTON; This was a rematch from this past Monday on Raw, but this time, Kingston is an official member of SmackDOwn, making this a SmackDown exclusive match. It was just as good as their Raw encounter, if not, better. The match was serparated by a COMMERCIAL BREAK. Kingston seemed to be lining McIntyre up for the Trouble In Paradise, but McIntyre ducked and immediately rolled Kingston up and grabbed a handful of tights to pick up the victory. McIntyre instantly left the ring, grabbed his title and backed up the ramp. Kingston tried to explain to the referee that his tights were pulled, but he wouldn't reverse the decision. McIntyre smirked down the ramp at Kingston as he held his title high. We then cut to a promo package.
- We see a Raw Rebound package, showing Batista costing John Cena the match this past Monday, giving CM Punk the victory for SmackDown. We then return to the ring.
BETH PHOENIX def. MICHELLE MCCOOL via Disqualification; This was a non-title rematch from WWE Extreme Rules, without the stipulation. Newly drafted diva, Melina was sat at the announcers desk, observing the match. Mid-way through the match, Phoenix threw McCool out of the ring, which only allowed McCool to grab the Womens Championship and drill Phoenix over the skull with it on the outside. The referee was forced to ring the bell and end the match in a DQ. Melina left the commentators area and snatched the Womens Title from McCool, saying it wasn't hers. McCool then slapped Melina, and then got into a brawl. Beth Phoenix, Layla and the referee split the two up, Phoenix grabbing Melina and the referee and Layla grabbing McCool. They are succesfully split as we fade backstage.
- We are shown Jeff Hardy walking down a corridor read for a match after the break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
BIG SHOW def. SHELTON BENJAMIN; A relitively quick match. For some reason, Shelton Benjamin has adopted some black cloud, because he isn't having the best of months. First, he loses the Intercontinental Championship after just three weeks, and now he loses to the Big Show with minimal offence. Big Show adds the final cut to the match with a huge Knockout Punch. The Miz claps as his partner picks up his first SmackDown victory. Shelton Benjamin is helped to his feet by the referee, and looks very disappointed. He shrugs off the referee pretty aggressively and leaves ringside. We then cut backstage.
- We see Theodore Long backstage and then Jack Swagger wander in. Swagger says "You wanted to see me, Teddy?". Long says "What the hell were you thinking, playa? I know you're new to SmackDown, but I'm pretty sure attacks on superstars were frowned upon o Raw, too. What you did to Ted DiBiase wasn't good business". Swagger tells Teddy that he was looking to make an impact, and didn't want other young superstars like Ted DiBiase getting in the way of him becoming the future. Long tells him that he may want to make an impact, but if he wants to do it, get it done in a scheduled match. He then books Ted DiBiase versus Jack Swagger for next week on SmackDown. Swagger smiles and then leaves as Long shakes his head. We then cut further backstage.
- We are shown a split screen. One side shows the Straight Edge Society walking down a corridor, and the other shows MVP on a separate corridor. We then cut to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
MVP def. CM PUNK; A fantastic Main event to close off this edition of SmackDown. Everyone was expecting it to be ruined in the usual Straight Edge ways, but MVP held it all at bay. He managed to fend off the Society, avoiding Serena's sly tricks. CM Punk lifted MVP up onto his shoulders, looking for the Go To Sleep, but MVP slid off and kicked Punk in the gut, and followed it up with the Drive-By Kick, picking up the victory. MVP celebrated his victory, but not for long as Luke Gallows brutally attacked him. Serena go a kick or two in, as well. Gallows held MVP's arms behind him as Punk got in his face. Punk screams "You will not stand in our way!" and slaps him across the face. He then orders Gallows to lift him onto Punk's shoulders. Punk then drops MVP with the GTS, laying him out in the center of the ring. The Straight Edge Society leave with looks of disgust on their faces as we cut to our final commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to see Chris Jericho backstage with Josh Mathews. Mathews firstly congratulates him on his victory, but then asks him why he did what he did to The Undertaker. Jericho says it doesn't matter, and what's done is done, as long as he is World Heavyweight Champion, nothing else matters. He then leaves as we cut to a promo package.
- We see a quick package, highlighting what went on at Extreme Rules in the Casket match. We then return to SmackDown.
- Chris Jericho's theme hits and he gets a larger pyrotechnics display than usual. He enters alongside his NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett. The ring is set up with a navy blue carpet and a podeum in the center of the ring. Jericho enters and holds his title high to a lot of heat from the crowd. He stands on the podeum and speaks into the microphone which has already been placed on a stand. He says "At Extreme Rules, I did what I said I would do, and that is finish off The Undertaker and become the World Heavyweight Champion". He says that Undertaker won't be showing up on SmackDown for a while after what he and Wade Barrett did this past Sunday. Jericho then brings up what he did to Edge this Monday on Raw. He says that Edge wanted the first chance at the World Title when he won it, and so he decided to give him a quick preview of what was to come if he messed him Jericho. Jericho says "With all that said, let the celebrations begin!". A short burst of pyro comes from the rafters, and blue and white balloons drop from them. Jericho holds his World Title high as Wade Barrett claps on. Everything goes well until Edge appears, slides in and delivers a huge Spear to Jericho through the balloons to a huge pop from the crowd. Barrett spins around and see Edge, runs towards him, but gets a Spear himself. Edge stands tall over the World Heavyweight Champion and the NXT Rookie with a deranged look on his face. He then taunts as the crowd go wild and SmackDown fades to a close.

Raw: - Punk vs Cena in the Main Event? Awesome. - Sheamus vs Kozlov would be boring. Christian to Raw is alright. - Smackdown getting a pick is nice, Melina to SD is pretty sweet. - Nice win for ShoMiz. Kane and Matt to Raw is fine by me, nice turn by Matt. - Jackson over Mysterio actually surprised, but pleased me. Mysterio being the pick is meh... - Obvious win for Smackdown, and Big Show going over is good. He is better over there. - Surprised to see The Hart Dynasty win, but it's great. DiBiase to Smackdown is sweet. - Kingston over McIntyre also surprised me, but Morrison to Raw is a nice move IMO. - Punk defeating Cena yet again surprises, but pleases me. Kingston and MVP are both good moves to SD. Great draft. Supplemental Draft: - Ziggler to Raw is okay I suppose. - Finlay should be fading out soon. - Knox to Raw is unnecessary. - Truth going to Raw is pleasing. - Hart Dynasty is such a good site to see. - Kozlov is meh to me, he doesn't need it. - Alicia to SD is good. Gives her some place. - Carlito to SD is a great move. Gives him time. - Masters really is a joke now. Hope he does something. - Goldust to Smackdown is also meh. I believe he belongs to Raw. - Hornswoggle going to SD is pointless. But whatever. - Jack Swagger is a great move to SD, better opportunities. - Rosa and Ryder to Smackdown is also sweet to see. Fine Supp. draft. NXT: - Jericho over Gabriel is quite obvious. World Champ here. - Bryan getting abused week in and week out amuses me. - Otunga picking up the win over Bryan is fine by me! - . Bryan isn't out yet again. The cliche shouldn't happen! Good NXT overall minus my own hopes. Smackdown: - Punk vs MVP sounds like a pretty decent main event. - DiBiase over Carlito is obvious. Hope DiBiase goes big on SD. - Ryder and Rosa vs Goldust and Hornswoggle? Lolwut? - McIntyre and Kingston in a rematch, eh? Glad McIntyre won this time. - Pretty interesting stuff between the divas over on Smackdown now. - Big Show over Shelton is okay to see. Hope Shelton gets revenge though. - MVP beating Punk really surprises me. Wasn't expecting that. - Edge and Jericho going on now is nice to see. Fit it in fine after Y2J/Taker. Good Smackdown.

WRESTLING OBSERVER NEWS May 1st, 2010 - WWE NXT is two weeks away from its final episode, the three remaining Rookies being Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel and Wade Barrett. According to WWE officials, the WWE are not planning a second season of WWE NXT as of now, although that could change in the future.
- On that note, the WWE have plans to move Friday Night SmackDown to the SyFy Network which would maintain their contract with SyFy when NXT finishes. MyNetworkTV isn't doing SmackDown any favours and the move could definitely help with ratings.
- After the WWE Draft, the two brands are now fresh and new with many talents switching to brand new shows. No Champions were drafted this year, the WWE feeling that they were fine as they were, and didn't want to confuse anyone by switching them around. It should also be noted that there wasn't many Main Event stars moved, despite the reports we had heard. According to many sources, creative felt that the rosters were fine as they were, and didn't need to move any of their main talents to have a succesful draft.
- WWE Over the Limit is not scheduled to be a gimmick Pay Per View, like the WWE's previous creations. If there is anything relating to the name of the show, expect more multi-man matches than usual. Current ideas suggest that their could be a Triple Threat Main Event scheduled for the show, but it is unknown what that will be.

Shouldn't Bret Hart be listed under "Others" on the RAW roster? Also, you've listed Rosa Mendes on both RAW and SmackDown. SmackDown was a great show. It was booked well, and very realistically. Typical SmackDown opening segment. Good main event set for the show. Great win for DiBiase. Swagger/DiBiase feud? Hm, it could be good. Typical WWE match here, and for some reason I actually liked it.. Not really surprised to see that Rosa got the pin. Reminds me of when Paul Heyman pinned Jeff Hardy - but obviously Hornswoggle isn't as big as Jeff Hardy. McIntyre/Kofi is a solid contest. Interesting stuff from the Diva's. Isn't Melina injured, though? Not surprised to see MVP get the win in his return (?) to SmackDown. I like when a show ends with an interview/segment. Edge/Jericho is good stuff.

- I think you could have done something a lot better than MVP/Punk - Ted defeating Carlito is splendid - I love this Ted-Swagger feud; should be brilliant - I love that Ryder and Rosa actually won as I thought you would squash them out - Drew defeating Kofi is great - Show defeating Shelton seems good to me – I wonder what is going on with Benjamin though; hopefully he doesn’t get released - Ted versus Swagger next week is great - I hate MVP over Punk - Edge crashing the party and spearing both Wade and Jericho was brilliant

WWE NXT: Tuesday 27th April 2010...Wow, pretty solid way to kick off NXT with Chris Jericho taking on Justin Gabriel; obvious win for Jericho, wasn't expecting the new World Heavyweight Champion to lose to this talented NXT Rookie. The fact Gabriel held up on his own was the main thing, and it worked effectively. The Miz's promo was pretty solid, not a bad promo in which he basically continued things with Daniel Bryan and his feud. The WWE Unified Tag Team Champion and United States Champion needs to lose one belt; he's holding three belts here. Surely something's gotta give. Decent main event with David Otunga beating Daniel Bryan acceptably. Otunga then being eliminated is a complete question mark, though. Good choice for the final three; but overall while this was a good show, it needed more. Involvement like a promo with Wade Barrett would have been good. It just seemed short.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 30th April 2010...Cryme Tyme and Yoshi Tatsu beating the Dudebusters is an interesting decision, but it was alright I suppose. Alicia Fox beating Tiffany was alright; not fond of Alicia that much, however. Decent promo with CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society in the ring, talking about defeating Jeff Hardy and John Morrison at Extreme Rules and what's next. Not that sure about MVP being Punk's opponent for tonight's mian event, not even sure about that for a main event as it seems weak. Anyways, fair opening contest to get Ted Dibiase cooking on SmackDown, overcoming Carlito. Not a bad match, but Carlito needs to step up to the table if you ask me. Likely win for Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes beating Goldust and Hornswoggle, very amusing idea there. I liked it a great deal. These mixed tag team matches on SmackDown are pretty good. Drew McIntyre beating Kofi Kingston is alright, not that bad a match but I value Kofi higher than McIntyre, personally. Beth Phoenix beating Michelle McCool is alright; not that bad a match, the disqualification was a little strange though. Not fond of this happening following their decent WWE Womens Championship encounter at Extreme Rules. Melina's involvement made things better. Big Show beating Shelton Benjamin is odd; obvious a boost for Show but what's happening to Benjamin...another heel turn? Hmm, I guess that's alright. MVP beating CM Punk was pretty odd, but a decent match for a main event. I see what you're doing now with the promo afterwards. A new scenario with Porter and Punk could elevate MVP at long last. Chris Jericho's promo was very good at the end, very solid to say the least. His bragging about becoming World Heavyweight Champion again is expected, but I'm happy to see Edge finally target Jericho for retribution. Good show overall, expect for Edge and Jericho's rivalry to end at either Fatal Four-Way or SummerSlam.
