WWE NXT Quick Results - July 13th, 2010
- Alex Riley def. Kaval when The Miz distracted him.
- Percy Watson & MVP def. Cody Rhodes & Duke Rotundo when MVP hit Duke Rotundo with the Play of the Day.
- Joe Hennig def. Lucky Cannon with the Perfect Plex.
- Duke Rotunda was the second person to be eliminated from NXT Season Two.
SmackDown Quick Results - July 16th, 2010
- Edge def. Big Show with the Spear.
- Beth Phoenix & Melina def. Lay-Cool when Melina hit Layla with the Sunset Split. After the match, Beth Phoenix planted Melina with the GlamSlam as Michelle McCool escaped.
- Carlito with Zack Ryder def. Goldust with Yoshi Tatsu & Hornswoggle when Carlito hit the Backstabber.
- Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger def. Ted DiBiase & Brett DiBiase after McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT on Brett DiBiase.
- CM Punk def. Jeff Hardy after Matt Hardy interfered. The Hardys brawled and then MVP came down to brawl with CM Punk.
- Chris Jericho & Wade Barrett hosted The Highlight Reel with guest, World Heavyweight Champion, Kofi Kingston. Jericho mocked Kingston, saying he was a joke as World Champion and couldn't be taken seriously. He mentioned how he faked a Jamaican accent for years because he is nothing but a fraud. Kingston told Jericho that he did it for the fans, because he enjoys entertaining them, while all Jericho does is talk. Jericho attacks Kingston, but Kingston fights back. Kingston hits Wade Barrett with the Trouble In Paradise as Jericho escapes. Kingston celebrates as SmackDown closes.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 13th July 2010...Gonna take some getting used to, getting back into this. Alex Riley beating Kaval is fine I suppose. I expected a challenge to take place on this show honestly. Percy Watson and MVP beating Cody Rhodes and Duke Rotundo is a fine match, as is Joe Hennig beating Lucky Cannon. I'd avoid calling the fisherman suplex the Perfect Plex though. Duke Rotundo eliminated second in the competition is acceptable. Not a bad show. Set the scene for future NXT episodes anyway.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 16th July 2010...Edge beating Big Show is a fine opening contest, likely that Edge would win. Beth Phoenix and Melina beating Laycool is a very credible opening contest that I was pleased with. Carlito beating Goldust isn't a bad move, nice little Oddities faction with Yoshi Tatsu and Hornswoggle. Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger beating the Dibiases wasn't a bad match, seperate the Dibiases NOW. It does little for Ted and puts a nail in the coffin of baby Brett's. CM Punk beating Jeff Hardy is a hot match, no problem there. Liked the Hardys brawling and MVP then coming out to get some. The Highlight Reel was decent, I liked it. Good reference to the false character of Kofi Kingston. Overall, a solid episode. Looking forward to the Bash.
