They really did blow it by giving him a head scan that is 14 years older than it should be. I still think it's a decent fig though.

There's just no pleasing some people. I think it's an amazing figure and it's the only one from EG series 1 that I'll be getting. Not that I don't like the other two, their just wicked expensive otherwise I'd buy all three.

Wow how can anyone not like that HBK? It blows Jakks version clear out of the water. Besides the fact that it's an awesome figure you should be happy you even found it. I went to 5 different Walmart's and had no luck finding it so I ended up buying it online.

I was really looking forward to this figure and will get one to keep MOC, but I can't help but agree with some who say the figure just doesn't look right. The entrance attire is amazing, way better than JAKKS, but the figure itself is lacking alot in my opinion. The scan and torso just look too "current HBK." He looks alot different now than he did in 1996 and this just does not look like how HBK looked at WM12. The tights are decent, but a bit plain and the torso/arms are too small and his face looks old. The scan is dead-on for a current HBK figure and looks great on current HBK figures, but it doesn't at all represent a 1996 era HBK. I still retain that the CS#1 HBK is the best representation of the WM12 era HBK and I'm on the Mattel bandwagon. It's just the truth.

The only thing wrong with the figure is the same thing that is wrong with all 3 version (Mattel EG/Jakks CS1/Jakks Tribute) and that's the scan is too old of a WMXII HBK.

Mattel in a nutshell. All the figures are too damn scrawny looking, which makes them laughable. I've been to TRU every week since they started selling Mattel Figs. I have not seen many of them go off the shelf. In fact, one of the TRU has all the same figures I've seen from weeks ago. They didn't get a new shipment either. Those figures don't move. Mattel's line will die, because not many people want to buy crappy figures that are too expensive and not worth the price.
I used to go in the WWE aisle and I would at least have a few people in it with me. Now, it's me alone and I don't blame other people for giving up.
Mattel...you suck. Fix your figs or else, haha.

Lol.
Yes, parents and kids will pass on a shelf full of Rey Mysterio, John Cena, and DX figures because their arm are to small. The same way Jakks went under because they didn't paint Cena's armband logo's on or give Finlay a better scan, right?
Where will people learn that WWE action figures are collected by other people besides internet smark geeks(myself included in that generalization, but regardless).
