So I hit up some stores yesterday to see if they had anything new and the first thing I noticed was that Entrance Greats are now going for $21.99.
Are the Mattel fans really paying that much for these figures? I think it's cool that they come with their gear and a base that plays their music but that is waaaay too much money for just one figure in my opinion.

just reminded me that i was checking a local walmart for some Elite2s the otherday (Brunswick, NY), and noticed that all their prices were a dollar higher than everywhere else. $15.88 for Elites (they had NONE) and $18.88 for 2 packs (only had a Jericho/Michaels). Don't recall if Basics/PPV/Flexforce were any higher. (of all of them, they only had 1 B2Punk and a couple scatters FFs. I think the EGs were $21.88 there too.
but i've since checked a few other area WMs (in hopes of finding E2s) and all of their prices were normal. wierd.
{*don't remember if it was $__.88 or .86 or. 98. walmart's cents dont' make sense.*}

My Target Sells them for $21.99 each but my Walmart & K-Mart have them @ $19.99 each so i guess it depends on the store

My WalMarts are $21.88 since they started carrying them. And I'll be dropping about $100 when the Piper is released as I'll be getting 4 of him. And if it looks like the proto when released that Piper might just be the greatest wrestling figure ever.

Just wondering if you have plans to make 3 different Pipers, or what you're thinking?

lets see... marvel universe figres = $7+ in some stores.. for a 4 inch figure gi joe = $7+ in some areas , now down to $5 for a 4 inch figure transformers = $12 for a deluxe , $22 for voyager, $50 for leader , $100 for supreme...
thats roughly the prices i pay for other figures i purchase.. so $22 for a 7 inch figure with tons of gear and a stand that plays entrance music is a pretty good price...

I am fine paying $21 plus for an Entrance Great. I have 1 MOC and 1 Loose of each. They are probobly the best loose display line. The base with the theme song is also really sweet.

I haven't bought one yet...but I would pay more then $22 for that Piper that is coming out. What a great looking figure. I would really like to see Mattels take on Hulk Hogan.

The Entrance greats here in Chicago are $21. I've only seen one HBK and bought it, Triple H & Rey have been warming the shelves at every store I've been too.

I'm not sure how it is at other stores, but around here the EG figures are the slowest moving figures of this line, next to Flex Force. The figures honestly look amazing, but I do think the prices scare off anyone who isn't a huge fan of the specific wrestler, or a hardcore collector. I'm wondering if/when the line will get retooled, or just merged completely in with Elite.

I wish they didn't have that stupid sound in them then they could be cheaper. Possibly a dollar more if not the same price as Elite.

I have the HHH and that's it. He's the only one I'll buy unless a really amazing one is released.

This figure is near perfect so there's nothing to fix. But 1 will be for my mattel display. 1 for my computer table. W=1 to play around with. And 1 MOC incase he's ever signing around here.
