What is the most Epic Game You've played? Like each time you progress through the story you are blown away about what just happened and also the games soundtrack, Did that effect the games epicness.
Mine would be Halo 3, Every level is Absolute perfect and the music fits the game so well, The Final Mission "Halo" and "Warthog Run" music make the finale a level of epic proportions. And the Cinematics in Halo are non-skipable for me, I would never skip them because of the Movie feel to them Also ODST was epic, but not as Epic as Halo 3 was. Also Halo 3's online multi is amazing, Figuring Bungie has to run all these servers.

Well, technically, the only Epic Games I've played are Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, Unreal Tournament 3, Gears of War, and Gears of War 2.
However, I would probably have to also go with Halo 3. I was so excited for it and it lived up to the hype and more for what I wanted out of the end to the Halo trilogy.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was the perfect culmination of everything I had been working towards since the late 80s. The score is always top notch, the emotions ran high, some of the missions were just epic. Like revisiting Shadow Moses, piloting Ray, the slow crawl almost to your death to where you were unable to even hold yourself up anymore, the final showdown with Ocelot, and the EPIC epilogue with the return of Big Boss where everything is finally and completely wrapped up. So much greatness going on.

Metal Gear Solid 2 and The God of War series.
As far as epicness, there's not much that can beat the opening battle of GOW2.

I woud say for me the most epic game I've played was Heavenly Sword. I doesn't seem to be overly popular but I really found it to be great! The story, the graphics and the gameplay were all amazing!

Chrono Trigger and the Monkey Island games back in the day.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was also pretty epic for it's day.

Halo and Mass Effect. The race at the end with the warthog was awesome. I want to say Halo 3, but I really found the first one to be more epic.
