Where's that ultrasound facepalm that was on here a couple days ago?
Seriously.......my school has a Latino (Hispanic sounds stupid to me) majority and they (the school AND the students) didn't even make a big deal about Cinco de Mayo. All we did was sell Mexican flags. Seems like some students wanted to start trouble and got these guys in trouble for NO reason.

Basically, America is being so overrun by people coming from other places, that if you are a white person who was originally born in America ANYTHING you say or do can be interpreted as racism.
I'm being told that I might not be able to get a teaching job in America unless I go learn Spanish.
This country is going down the tubes. If people come to America they should act like Americans, not ask us to act like them so they feel more at home. You want to be home, stay home.
If I moved to a country which spoke another language I feel it is my responsibility to learn their language and culture, not expect them to bend over backward for me.

My a** you wouldn't. I live in what many consider the boonies of America, and one of the biggest things I see around here is the flying/displaying in some manner of the Dominican flag. 365 days a year. They don't take it down on the 4th.
Do they celebrate American Independence in Mexico? Didn't think so.

Yea, we would not do that... I would hope not..being that it is in the summer and all... But what they will do is condone their parents being here illegally. Take funding and scholarships from people that deserve and need it. You know, there is a immigrant scholarship right? They don't even need to be here legally to get it. They take jobs from people all because they will do the same job for cheaper, while getting paid cash so the company owner can avoid reporting an income. Then they take that same cash and send it to their wives, and 24 kids living in some rat hole in Mexico. This is our land of opportunity if you want to be apart of it fine. That's what this country is about. Giving opportunity to those to seek, earn, deserve, and go about it the right way. This goes for any country any nationality. They act like they have the right to be upset when some one goes around wearing Amercian flag T-shirts on their day of patriotism. What about the ones that wear Cesar Chavez shirts? Hypocrites.

I dont see the big deal. Coming dressed idioticaly in full on american clothing on a mexican holiday...the kids were trying to be controversial or start trouble- If they wore that every day it would be fine, but they have clearly co-ordinated their clothing so they are all wearing the american flag.
Personaly, while i understand things like learning languages, which is essential to comunicate, i think multiculturism should be embraced...especialy in a country where your mostly all immigrants....when your relatives went to america, did they respect and take on the native american culture? No.
Although i must say, sending them home was probably not a good move, they should have just let the kids carry on until some angry mexicans taught them a lesson....

I know there's right to free speech and expression and everything but as Donthasslethehoff said, in the video, it looked like the kids wanted to start trouble by dressing like that.
