Do you guys think that Dana cut him from the fact that he lost, or because kimbo obviously just gave up a minute into the first round?

Why did he deserve another fight? It's been proven that he CANNOT hang with guys who have even a shred of well roundedness. Hence why Houston Alexander was the only guy he beat in the UFC.
He got beat down from head to toe, pretty much gave up in the first round, and got smashed in the second. All by a guy with a 1-0 record. Not to take anything away from Mitreone, as I see him going places in the HW division if he continues to improve.
The UFC is considered the top tier of MMA as far as talent goes. It's not a place to find yourself as a professional fighter and suddenly develope talent. Kimbo just doesn't have it, and Dana saw that.

It's cause the UFC doesn't fix fights lol, seriously though, I think he deserved to get cut, he gave up in the first round and if ing Coleman got cut then so should Kimbo.

Just cause mir lost to brock when Brock was 3-1 means mir is poop all of a sudden? listen records don't matter in the ufc and Brock is proving it, he's a champ while being 3-1 in the ufc and 4-1 overall. and imo meathead is better than his 2-0 record right now 1 - Mitrione is now 2-0, and beaten no one of any value whatsoever. That's what people are basically saying by calling him "1-0" before beating Kimbo. 2 - The Heavyweight division was in absolute shambles, in need of a huge boost when Lesnar was brought in. 3 - Records DO matter in the UFC. Lesnar's case was just a recognizable name that they didn't even need to promote and cash cow that ZUFFA realized they could milk (and continue to milk). It's called good business. 4. Mitrione is awful. He's proven nothing whatsoever. He's beaten 2 guys that to be honest, have no place in the world of MMA.

How you skipped over the last part of my post where I said that I though he's going places is beyond me. Records can mean something, just as well as they can't. Some guys have like 18-1 records because they KO'd 16 scrubs and got noticed at a fight that mattered. Some guys' records are the way they are because they've won so many in the UFC, which in their case, the record does matter.

I agree with those that say that he deserved another fight or two Ok, say if Kimbo stayed, who would you possibly put him with next?? I mean, seeing as he got his ass handed to him by Mitrione, he would be so FAR down in the rankings that I don't believe there is another heavyweight in the UFC that would be as far down as Kimbo would be. I thought of everyone and the only guy that I could think of would be Tim Hague. They are about equal in the rankings in my opinion and even then, I'm sure Kimbo would get smoked. I mean, if "Meathead" could whoop Kimbo, then I'm sure Hague could as well. I just don't see why anyone would like to see Kimbo fight, unless you like seeing the guy lose. And even then, I don't like seeing the guy. And I love the fact he lost and that it was so one-sided. I also love the fact that his first UFC pay-per-view appearance was also his last. ;D He was NEVER worth the kind of money they were paying him and certainly never deserved the hype either because he turned out to be the BIGGEST dud of all-time. I just can't stand him. He's a sh*tty fighter and I'm glad he's gone from the UFC. he didn't deserve to be there in the first place.

He put in the time and actually tried, so you have to give him credit for that. Fact is, he was a little too old and he just wasn't going to be real competitive.

Games, figs, appearances, etc. Give him one more and if he loses and falls to 1-2 then cut him

Kimbo's career from here is basically:
- Fight at least 1 more fight for a company to bring in viewers/revenue (strikforece?). More than likely, lose this fight.
- End up on Celebrity Apprentice, or another celebrity reality show.
- End up in TNA doing in a storyline as ref/enforcer.
Then he'll go right back to being forgotten.

This 100% I have nothing against Kimbo at all for his UFC/MMA stint. The guy seriously put in effort, he never hyped himself up to be same unstoppable beast who was gonna run straight to the HWC, he just wanted a shot. He got it. He couldn't cut it. No harm, no foul.

I really would of liked to see Kimbo get another fight in the UFC. Maybe Strikeforce will pick him up.

<<<<<<3 Dana White now. He was over hyped. Anyone who actually thought Kimbo Slice was some elite fighter was on crack. The problem is that Dana White has basically said the same things about Fedor Emelianenko, despite the fact that Fedor has absolutely destroyed countless top fighters.

Dana can't come to a contractual agreement with Fedor. He has tried for years. Very different than Kimbo's case. Dana wouldn't even let Kimbo in the UFC unless he did Ultimate Fighter. That being said, Kimbo is nothing more than a bum fighter. He has a couple more pro MMA fights than Mitrione, but obviously had no idea what he was doing. He made Mitrione look like gold. Kimbo sucks. Bottom line.

lol @ the likelihood of him actually appearing in tna. is he under a contract? no. Then the likelyhood of TNA throwing a bunch of money at him is pretty high. see Venis, Val
