I hope this is true... Rick has been very lonely for far far far too long I'm not PMing anyone the image, and I'm not using this board to transmit it. Those of you with my AIM and Yahoo names can feel free to say hi, though! Also, the existence of the proto doesn't mean we're getting the figure. It may have been done, then scrapped. It may be an exclusive, like CS 27 Sherri was... there's really no telling, until the series comes out! |

.. but I can't post it here, as I obtained it with an online retailer's watermark already on it. The LOTR1 Scott Steiner does indeed have a prototype though, as I've seen the image. His singlet is yellow with thin black stripes, and a white piece on either calf. The top part of the singlet is the tanktop mold (used on the early Bret Hart figures) and not the singlet mold (used on Curt Hennig/Mr. Perfect). Not sure which attire this is based on. The figure isn't as lackluster as Jeff Jarrett.. but it's not near as cool as Sting. I expected something with more.. oomph from a Steiner Brothers era Scott, but it's solid. And yes, I know.. no pics, no proof.. but the picture is watermarked, so I can't post it without permission from the watermarker, which it's safe to assume I won't get. That said.. since he's been made and a head has been sculpted, painted, and finished, I wonder if we'll end up getting him down the road in a two pack with Rick? black out the watermark in paint then upload it to tiny pic and post it on here. the fact that you wont post it to anyone, screams fake at me. |

I'm pretty sure I have a disc with him wearing that attire...in the NWA and early WCW the Steiners wore singlets that weren't cut low like their WWF/WCW singlets...they had a much higher cut to them. And the legs Scott's singlet would ride up like that. I just checked my disc and it sounds like the one he wore in WCW on Nov 12 1989 when they beat thew Freebirds for the titles. Although that singlet only had the white on his right side. The other side was yellow and black print like the rest of the singlet. Here's a video I just found on youtube of it - |

I really dont care if there is a Proto type, I want to see an ACTUAL figure for sale. If RSC doesnt have it listed as being on sale then I dont care about a proto type.
Anyone else Rember Proto types for Black Jack Mulligan?
Until I see the figure for sale, these posts just tick me off to know something was cut from the line.

Yes it looks like that's what they were loosly basing it on. I think the reason the reason they used a lower body parts like that of HHH instead of the legs like Rick Steiner's is because a lot of the time Scott's singlet would ride up his thighs, but they should have only had his one side white and the other should have looked like the rest of the singlet. I just hope Scott gets released at some point. |

I would have expected better from members here to post the pic. WOW really disappointed that some of you are scared to get "fussed at" as OP put it. Its a picture of a figure, not the blue prints to a nuclear bomb.
