guys please stop bashing people for not posting the pic. i'm sure there is a good reason. enough members have seen it and then not posted it here, so there MUST be a genuine reason for not announcing where to see the pic
if you see the pic, please try and realize the reason, and think about the FUTURE, not just the present.

I have seen it, and I can vouch that there is a very good reason not to post it here. Blackbird 13 is just doing the responsible thing. +1 from me, too.
Really, the body looks pretty good for Jakks. The head isn't so hot, but I have seen modded RA Steiner heads that would look great on that body.
Besides, I have a feeling that it will leak sooner or later, anyway.

The head is average at best. The rest of the figure looks terrible. Ive seen customs that look so much better. Hopefully IF Jakks does release Scotty, they do some more work on him

Looks kinda like Kurt Angle. Not a very good scan in my opinion.
A person that posts on another board I visit, who has very tight connections within TNA says the reason this figure wasn't released in Series 1 is because Scott parted with TNA. He also said they were working on getting him into Series 2. This guy is pretty credible when it comes to TNA news and has been right on other news and notes he's posted countless times so I have no reason not to believe him.

Its on their page now so Might as well post it this sucks!!! this is one of my most wanted figures and this is how it looks? i mean really like others have said it looks like kurt angle with long hair. but i do have to be honest, as much as i dont like it I would have bought it to go with my rick steiner figure just to finally have a ra version of the steiner brothers. i hope they removed him from the set to try and fix his scan!(I doubt it!)LOL |

That head is a current version of Scott Steiner re-tooled to look like him in the 90's. The problem is that making a current head into an earlier version figure doesn't account for aging and weight gain.
They have done the same thing with the Jeff Jarrett figure. Cheap and lazy Jakks.

I thought it was just a poor sculpt, but you're right - it is just a retooled version of current Steiner. Funny, because I really have seen modified RA Steiner heads that look faaar more like a late '80s version than that one does. I think the Galoob and Hasbro figures look more like him than that one does. |

I'm willing to bet that the second I post the image, this thread gets locked, and I get fussed at... although I read the WF TOS a few times over, and don't think I'm doing anything against it... ;D This thread is a comedy goldmine. Figure looks terrible too. Still hate all screaming heads. |

That's freakin' ridiculous. I love how they used the existing TNA Steiner head, and essentially customized it to his former look.
Makes me wonder who Sting used to be? A sanded down Ivan Drago?
Jarrett is a blatant "re-use."
