dude that is the best post so far... made me crack up... ;D i agree, but everyone having a peticular look they had in mind for him is fine but some people claiming were all blind makes me wonder how far jakks would need to go to convince those few who just love to piss and moan... am i the only one hear that prefers to be the way i was as a kid with these? get excited over finding the onws i want without analizing every lil thing? if that was going on in the 80s i would of had a easyer time finding the LJN Bundy for example... imagine a toys r us full of kids arguing that bundys build looked to cartoony or his articulation sucked or the white wrist band varriant is typical crappy LJN since he never wore white wrist bands,blah,blah,blah,blah....lol would of made collecting em back then very annoying.... well i agree wit some that a mullet stiener with the the longer shorts would be awesome, if theu released this one i would gladly pay for him despite some saying he looks horrible which i do not agree with at all...lol again karma for a great post man...lol I read and responded to your Bundy post from another thread. I made mention of having to wrestle with LJN Dibiase in a full suit with a wad of cash in his hand. I made it work....why...because they were innocent toys back then and we had this old thing called imagination. It's not around anymore, kinda like Ny Seltzer, but we had it....and it was good. These are truly some great posts and I TOTALLY agree 100%!!!

I think me, Sting, and Benjames need to get together and drink a beer and talk about the good old days. The days when your wrestling figures could NOT actually do a figure four leglock but you made it work anyways.

True enough! The super-mega-cheesy-over articulated UFC figures can though.

I definitley applaud anyone who is a little past "kid stage" and plays with their figures, more power to ya
that being said, I don't. occasionally I'll find myself taking some "action photos" or similar, but nothing too crazy. i see the work these guys do with their pic feds and realize the time & effort put in is crazy, but thats how you get fun out of your figures.
personally, 3 years ago about this time i re-started collecting jakks wwe figures. ive been a display man ever since. i love going in my "wrestling room" to look at the hundreds of figures i've collected over the years. i definitley am not one of those people that likes to pick apart every single little detail jakks had got wrong, however i do have my questions.
the things i want to know are why do they use tall kicker boots for shorter wrestlers? or why was rikishi so damn fat? its the part selections that just boggle my mind, especially since we KNOW jakks has the capabilities of using the right parts for accuracy.
i've noticed all of these LOTR protos are very different from how they used to be with WWE. they are darker, more crisp looking. i think we should definitley all wait until the final official MOC images are released before we really start crapping on anything that might be wrong

Very well put Chip i will say i do enjoy playing with em but i also enjoy folks who use em for pic feds..one of my all time fav pic feds was the nwa ish one by g money and wrestle fest by joel "Warsmen"... but as the commercial says,"i dodnt want to grow up, cause if i did..i couldnt be a toys r us kid...lol but seriously i agree jakks as parts they made they can try out with the mix and matching... the bundy i posted in the custom contest this time is made entirely of parts they already have for example but i also agree that the moc will be the decider...for me if they are atleast like the protos or better then im in:)

there does seem to be some similarities between the new Steiner RI & DI heads Still looks like Angle to me. I agree the face looks alot like Angle. But generally The scan doesn't bother me. It is the singlet with out shorts that bugs me. They picked the most hideous outfit ever. Couldn't they have tired to match the Rick Steiner that we already have. As far as jarrett goes It's not great but i still like it.

I can't relate to this argument at all because, even as a kid, I was super annoyed by things like my Shawn Michaels figure not being able to move his legs for a superkick. Were most kids really dumb enough to not notice that kind of thing? I doubt it...

I didnt mean attire colours etc but more the same attire style, singlet mold with shorts mold and matching Michigan jacket! they shouldnt be though.Scott and Rick very rarely wore matching attires, similar yes.....matching not that often. I know they did at Sumerslam 93 but I cant think of another time....although I know there was. Yeah Rick & Scott RARELY wore matching attires. I know of SS '93, SvS'93 and a few TV matches they had matching ones. Sure they had attires that would match, but they never really wore them at the same time. While, I think the scan it good and all, I'm still trying to work over the length of his singlet.
