Was it not confirmed that this (LOTR) and the NWA Line will be two separate things? No LotR is the NWA line. Hmm. I could've sworn I read they were different awhile back. Must be mistaken, sorry about that. |

To be honest I can't say I'm too impressed with the figure. I am still hoping jakks touchs up this figure and puts him in a 2-pack with Rick.

I will be happy with Patera, I mean Steiner, if his skin tone is lighter (same with the rest). Also, Scotty was always ripped, and he needs shorts tights. The singlet design is nice though.

WTF? All this commotion about this piece of crap? Not what I expected it to look like at all. I haven't bought a Jakks figure in awhile, but I'm not sure I will after seeing these LOTR protos. They all suck except for Sting who is ok.  |

 Its on their page now so Might as well post it The face looks like him though it's an awful expression. The body is just horrible, the singlet looks bad and it the wrong legs. This makes me very sad. |

Wow, all the hype for that! What a letdown!
Hopefully it was pulled because Jakks realized how bad it was. I'd love to see it fixed (better scan and bikers instead of trunks) with a better Rick Steiner too.

well, since i cant stand current wrestling i watch alot of my old tapes that are now converted to dvds to preserve them and recently i been on a wcw 1989 to 1991 kick... anywho, to be fair i pictured his face looking like his galoob figure... but frankly i may be the only one but it looks like scott to me circa 1991 ish as his aggressive side began kindling so he did scream more in interviews... i am puzzled about the legs do to the short tights but the over all scale of the body is great for me as i already had corrected ricks build... when he was younger he was not built like hacksaw jim duggan... so i corrected rick on to the hogan sized chest with the legs that had the longer tights and stuff... honestly those who are quick to call him ken petera or say stings head is drago are entitled to that view however in real life those folks did look simillar...just some suddle differences... i recall the jakks bashing that happened when some folks claimed howard finkle was a mean gean with just a resculpted hair line... but again in real life they 2 looked simillar... it is a shame not everyone is as excited as i am but i for one dig him as he to me does look very 1991ish and i am a good enough customizer to tweek him to my peticular version... hope the rest of you to find something to enjoy from this line as it goes on but i for one amd thrilled RA is still the build and that a classic/legends series is still going  The Famed LJN Arena will be looking forward to the reunion (hopefully) of The Stiener Brothers and they will make another great addition to a already power packed tag team roster:)  Rock on Everyone  - Ben |

Anyone who thinks that Jakks pulled this figure to make it better are kidding themselves. They most likely pulled it because Scott Steiner is no longer with TNA.

Other than the singlet being to short, I actually like this figure. I love the color of the attire. I wish they gave him the singlet they gave Mr. Perfect, Kurt Angle, and Rick Steiner, with the longer look. Really not sure what that is called.
I am not thrilled with the screaming scan, which I never really have been for most wrestlers. There are a few that can get by with it, but not many. Other than the open mouth, I honestly think it looks good. The screaming scan, to me, is a minor complaint compared to the shorter trunks look. To my knowledge, he never wore any of those. I have looked for pics of him in similar attire and have found no pics of it.
Over-all, I think it does look pretty decent in my opinon.

I Agree with you sting man... i think overall he is a excellent effort the short tights leg mold should of been there and the screaming is not a bad thing for me personally but i agree with your point also that not everyone can have that screaming thing... for me it will look cool him bitching about the freebirds,midnight exspress,the varcity club or anyone else in my fed that gets in the brothers way..i just hope we still get him..the ones i wanted bad from this set are scott and sting...the others are cool in there own way i may even custom jarret in to a texas ttornado..but all and all i think its a good start... the giant plus for me is RA... i can fix/custom any thing that jakks may not cover from my preffered versions i want..as long as they put out the figures of guys i want i can and love to tinker with the rest... a quick part switch and paint job and all ready to rumble...lol |
