We could actually play dempsey at mid Ill put this up to you guys. Does anyone know why they chose beasley? I cant wrap my head around it. I love Jitterbug, so I am glad they added him... i think it was because of his leadership

I'm hoping the USA beat England, and I have confidence that they can. I'm really hoping this newspaper will inspire everyone in England's group Good luck in South Africa!

I would just like to wish the USA all the best in the 2010 world cup. unfortunately Scotland did not qualify, and neither did our Irish cousins. But everyone in Scotland will be supporting America next week, especially against our bitter rivals England. USA fever is already hitting my home town of Edinburgh here,American jerseys are selling like crazy!! my dads friend who runs a successful tilling company has already hoisted 'old glory' up on his flag pole outside.people are peeping their horns as they drive by,shouting out of there windows ' c'mon the Americans' ;D If you guys do beat the English,no American who lives here (and there are a few in Edinburgh) will be able to buy a pint for a while(because we will be getting them for you guys ) There 5 million Scots(me included) behind you America, good like guys! God bless America

Just as a warning, because I know this will happen, any fighting between US and UK members, will result in beheadings. facist

No, I like "soccer" for the most part. I do my best to follow Italian Serie A, but the times are usually pretty bad for me. If you didn't guess by what I follow, I'm Italian and I will be rooting for them through-out the tournament. However, I was born in America and I do live here. I feel a little bad that I'm not showing my native country support.

TBH my best mate is from Palermo, and is very, very pessimistic just now,the Italians are at that stage where one generation is taking over from the last,in transition,if you will....

Alright, I just needed a little bit of a reassurance, thanks for that. Today is a big friendly vs. Mexico, what do you think the outcome will be?

This close to the world cup? bore-fest,0-0. basically its a training exercise these games.

I'm hoping for a little something though, I'm worried about Italy's strength at the forward position. We're lacking speed and creativity. I miss Francesco Totti

There sure are,the funny thing is,as good as spain are at the moment, there is not one earth shattering unbeatable team ala France 98-00,there are so many potential winners. the biggest factor will be the climate imo....
