Anyone else get reminded of Ring of Honor's Age of the Fall angle from 2007? Great segment last night, by the way.

I am so mad at myself to miss this live. I went to bed as I was really tired and couldn't be asked to stay up anymore.
After watching that video, I can only hope things continue like this. Every minute of that segment was perfect.

It was amazing. It reminds me of when I was a little kid and sh-t would happen on RAW or Nitro that just made me think "I can't believe this is happening!!" Being older and watching wrestling nowadays, most times things are pretty predictable to me, but this totally took me off guard. Not sure where this is going, but I'm VERY interested and it made a huge impact. Reminds me of something from like 97-98 era wrestling. Awesome stuff!!

Out of nowhere, unpredictable, and expertly pulled off. Amazing segment.

I can't remember the last time EVERYONE on here was excited about one thing with the exception of when we found out Jericho was coming back...

The ending was GREAT...the rest of the show SUCKED MAJOR ASS... but lets just HOPE that they go into the right direction with this... I dont want a NXT 1 vs NXT 2 thing...that would be lame... Hopefully its a NWO mentality and hey who knows...they might tear up smackdown next?? lol

I actually thought it was great and am incredibly intrigued. This is shocking because I can't stand any of those guys individually, but as a unit it is really cool. I don't expect this to be how Taker went out, though. I still expect them to go with Kane.

Were they suppose to be the ring crew or something? They were tearing everything down at the end of the show. But it was cool in all seriousness. I just didn't like the Armbands.

I would think that if they are trying to make an impact they should do something at least as similar on Smackdown, if not moreso. What better way to create complete chaos setting up for a PPV then to keep striking at will. It's one thing to do it on RAW, but if the goal is to make a statement to the entire WWE Universe then I think you have to make that statement on either SD or attempt to wipe out NXT season 2 before it even starts.
On a side note, perhaps they should pay a little more attention to detail when it comes to sorting through the wreckage. It was actually amusing to watch every EMT doting over Cena, meanwhile you have Gallows and Punk kayoed outside the ring, a referee who can barely stand, Justin Roberts who I don't think moved a muscle since Danielson let go of his tie, Striker was laid out and Lawler was buried under the freaking announce table. Worst. First responders. Ever.

Hmm, I'm in two minds on the bands, on the one hand it shows them as a unit with them having no t-shirt etc or co-ordinated clothes. But on the other hand, it's like "where are we supposed to believe they got them? Did they make them themselves?" (kayfabewise) because I can't imagine Skip Sheffield at a sewing machine. So the fact that they're so clearly from the wardrobe department is kind of a bummer. Maybe if they'd all worn black and yellow ring gear? Or just street clothes would have worked too.

You can't but I just did. I picture him sitting there sewing his armband going "Yep yep yep! What it do!"

Why didnt WWE guys come out and try to fight them off? Everyone in the locker room was probably shocked that something exciting was happening so they were glued to the screens in the back. Hypnotized by the awesomeness like moths to fire

So yeah. Your high from this really subsides after you go to bed. LOL, same thing happened to me. I still love the angle and all, but I'm not as excited as I was last night. It was bound to happen though.

Why didnt WWE guys come out and try to fight them off? Think about it, no ONE guy was going to go out there 8-1, or even 8-2 or 3. Unless the ENTIRE locker room came out, they probably figured they were better off staying safe in the back, even if it meant Cena was a sacrifice. AND that's awesome.
