I think Otunga needs to learn how to talk first before he becomes the "Mouthy Manager"......... ".......This can't be for real right...? *Dead Silence*......Yeah, And Google that! *Crickets*...." I felt like Talking was his only strong point I felt like he didn't have a strong point.

@tcih and Triple S, I'll give it a chance but I just feel that the whole concept of one of them winning a contract was throw out of the window when all eight of the appeared. Like the X factor/American Idol. The idea is that one of the wins, if one or two others get deals then thats not to bad, but if every finalist got deals? Just feels abit like the audience got cheated. If you understand me. Get that they're all getting a chance but i think theres more chance of them getting lost like this then say coming up through the ranks.

Wade Barrett won the contest, who WWE is clearly putting more time and money into. Barrett also won a Championship match at a WWE Pay-Per-View. Something none of the other seven will receive.

I'm calling it that they beat down Taker! Already called it last night in the Raw thread so did others in this thread.

Although a few people have 'called it!', don't ya think having the NXT guys beat up Undertaker as well would be throwing all their eggs in one basket? They've got an intriguing storyline with Undertaker's attacker, and another intriguing storyline now with NXT. That's two intriguing storylines at once in WWE!!

I was so shocked, I thought Cena was gonna fight them all off as usual. And I am really dumbfounded as I have no idea where this is going, which is rare in WWE.

I am glad there is something exciting going on again that we can all discuss. I think the last time was Jericho's return, but every week after Raw, it's usually Cena vs his latest challenge, and us HOPING for WWE to once, put somebody new against him. They usually don't do that... so instead of actually discussing the storyline, we be discussing what COULD and MIGHT happen after it. That is the problem with wrestling today, no excitement. The show sucked last night until I saw Michael Tarver in the crowd, then I immediately brought my attention to the screen. I thought it was your usual "Oh great, new heel comes out to 'confront' Cena only to get squashed by him in a few weeks'... if there's one thing I don't like about this storyline, it's that Wade Barrett is the 'star' of it. Cause Daniel Bryan should be the star, if by any chance they give the belt to somebody, it shouldn't be Wade Barrett. It should be Daniel Bryan. Even the littlest things were awesome last night, like Bryan screaming "YOU'RE NOT BETTER THAN MEEE" at Cena and then spitting on him. Punk trying to help Cena also made it look like, that even though the heels and faces don't get along, they're all in the WWE. 7 out of these NXT guys aren't. That's what makes it special. I always thought the 'brand wars' storylines were the absolute best and most exciting storylines. Please don't mess this up WWE, if anything... let the NXT guys appear on NXT tonight. But NOT to set up a feud between season 1 and season 2. We don't want to see that... we want to see NXT vs. WWE. Set up a PPV for it, do something... but PLEASE, don't this up like 90% of everything "exciting".

Where are people getting that Punk was trying to help Cena, from? Cena initially threw Punk out the ring, to the NXT, so why would Punk help him? Punk was just trying to get some retribution for himself and Gallows. I actually caught the last hour of RAW for cheap laughs(first time in many months) and I didn't expect what I think is probably the best angle I've seen in YEARS. Before that happend I thought Punk and Cena were putting on a decent match and looked like they could pull off an awesome feud together. Give those guys some material to work with and I can see a phenomenal feud coming from them. But yeah, the NXT bit was incredible, knowing the WWE though they'll probably squander it. That was the only negative for me, in that they had to abandon a great match. Punk and Cena have excellent chemistry, and I really want to see them feud, and conclude said feud, with a 60 min iron-man match.

Danielson and Cole fued made me mark out. Miz and Ryder teaming and winning made me mark out. THIS MAKES ME MARK OUT SO MUCH I WILL DIE OF A NEW DISEASE INVENTED BY THE IWC WHEN MARKING OUT WAY TOO MUCH! I just loved that segment. WWE please don't screw this up, you're making me happy.

And great idea for the guy who said they should smash the spinner belt. They should have did it last night... but hopefully next week.

Missed RAW last night... what an epic segment. Part of me wants them to do something with it on NXT, but most of me doesn't. Don't over shadow the Season 2 guys, plus waiting builds suspense. Here's my attempt at a sig, where all I really did was edit some things out of a previously made picture and added my own stuff. heh.

I liked that Punk specifically went after Danielson, when he got back in the ring.

Guys, besides - the NXT guys feeling that the WWE Superstars like Cena all thinking that their better than them - what could be some of their possible motives?

Guys, besides - the NXT guys feeling that the WWE Superstars like Cena all thinking that their better than them - what could be some of their possible motives? Maybe Vince said that they would give them all contracts if they proved themselves. Maybe Barrett earned all of the other rookies respect, and now they want to help him and in the process prove themselves. Maybe they were bored.

Actually, now all the eliminated Rookies saying Barrett should win makes even more kayfabe sense.
I mean, everyone wanted Barrett to win and he does deserve it, but if Barrett's the sole leader of the NXT 8, it all comes together very nicely.

I thought the segment was good, but not as good as people are making it out to be. Yeah, it's something really interesting that caught everyone off guard, but I just feel it's being overrated. However, I'm still excited to see how it develops from here next week on RAW.
