Highly entertaining night of fights. The first UFC in a long time that was worth the money. Brock gets all the credit in the world for surviving that complete ass whooping in the first and coming back to finish. I don't think anyone ever would have guessed he'd win by submission. And yeah, LOL@ his babyface turn. Carwin as usual was pure class even in defeat. He'll be back for the strap sometime and hopefully with a better gas tank. Sexyama, what can I say. It looked like he was drunk out there. But amazing chin on him and some sweet Judo tonight. Leben is a ing maniac. Him and Bonnar need to fight over the nickname "The American Zombie" because those ers took some insane shots tonight. War Cain!!!!

I'll definitely say this now...
Brock won the right to call himself the best heavyweight in the UFC(I won't say world, that can't truly be determined) but he also won himself a new fan in me.

With Fedor's loss to Werdum, I just can't see anyone else realistically being called the #1 Heavyweight in the world. No doubt about it, it's Brock's time now.

I still want to sit it out and wait to see Overeem's performance against Werdum before I start giving out crowns. lol
But honestly I'm inclined to say it's Brock now. Can't argue with a performance like that.

Man, I was scared sh*tless in the first round for the Lesnar/Carwin fight. I thought Brock was done for, but somehow he hung in there and Carwin ended up punching himself out. I literally exploded and went crazy when Brock actually tapped Carwin out. I couldn't believe it. Brock is the ing man. He's awesome. Take that all you Brock haters. Brock is here to stay. I couldnt say it any better myself this had my heart beating i tought brock was done for and im overjoyed that brock lesnar won. This whole payper vew was amazing and it definatly made up for the crappy rampage vs rashad fight. Im also amazed that the two matches i tought would end by knock out ended bu submission. If death and Carwin couldt beat Lesnar who can? on a side note anyone got a good pic of brock after the fight inside the cage

I knew Carwin would be the first to give Brock a fight and he sure did. He finally won my respect with that first round dominance.
Brock proved to all the haters he's the real deal. Can't wait to see him destroy Cain, JDS and whomever else the UFC throws at him as I still think the only other challenge he may have is Fedor.
War Leban! War Bonnar!, both should have been FOTN. I didn't see what fights won what, but both def deserving.

Is there any doubting Brock Lesnar??! Anyone the haters throw in front of him he beats!
Hes beaten the best sub-heavy, and now the best boxing-heavy!
Damn im still wired from that win. Watched it at buffalo wild wings with a bunch of haters.
But I give carwin his due, he pummeled Brock. But Brock deserves just as much for taking that. I went from litterally banging my head on the table, to jumping for joy for the W.
Carwin IMO, tried so hard to end it first round, that he didnt save anything for the second. He let his rep and ego catch up with him. "Oh he's a one-round fighter..". Im not bashing carwin, but I think he got ahead of himself. But I dont blame the guy at all though for pulling out all stops to try to put lesnar down.
The thing I was most upset about with lesnar, was how he was afraid of Carwin. He flinched and covered up every punch during the standup. I guess it turned out to be a good thing, but cmon. He needs to work on his boxing.
Oh, and it was awesome seeing Lesnar walking down the hall with Heyman in tow. Anyone got video of Lesnar and Rock in the lockerroom?

My God, what a crazy week it's been in the world of MMA. Who in the world would have thought that Fedor would LOSE by tapout, only to have Brock Lesnar WIN by tapout a week after...The sport of MMA is truly a crazy and unpredictable one, there's no question about that.

oooooohh what a rushhhhhhhh ! yeah i'm so happy brock managed to win this fight, as many above, i also flinched and feared the worst when i saw him getting whooped, i honestly thought the bell was gonna rang any second and it would be declared a tko, so i was very amazed it even got to round 2....then i lol'd at carwin winking at brock and brock smiling back ;D And then the submission, now, i did not expect that but i think it's a good way to win, at least he showed he has learned more than just throwing bombs, maybe the haters can give him some rescpet now instead of b*tching about him being one dimensional....also, there has always been a lot of talk about his "chin" and how it had never been proven taht he can also take shots instead of giving them....well he definatly took a few good ones in round one and didn't break, so YES the man can take a punch... can't wait for the next fight, whenever that may be

Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Shane CarwinWow...You only got 4 out of 11 right...It certainly wasn't your night to pick winners, that's for sure. I hope you had fun at your wedding because I know I had a blast watching Leben and Lesnar win their fights in spectacular fashion. ;D Seriously though, if you missed out on those fights last night, shame on you because they were incredible. Probably one of the best UFC cards of all-time.

Brock is a freak! NO ONE has been able to withstand punishment from Carwin like that. I already loved Brock as a fighter, but he's gained so much more respect and cred tonight!
What an awesome night of fights. Bonnar's win was incredible, and Leben submitting Sexyama with a freaking triangle choke was insane! I'm putting this up there with Aldo vs Faber for fight card of the year so far. Glad to see Grove pick up another win in the prelims and Lytle continues to prove that he's an animal as well!

So there answer will probably be no but anyone think Shane could win in a rematch? I think he could. I think if he worked his cardio and really just picked his punches, he could be Brock.
Oh and work on sub defence lol.

Brock vs. Cain shall be intresting, the downfall for Carwin was he gassed out, and Cain has awesome cardio and has great standup also!
