Yes she'll probably be as tall as the Mattel guy's which is pretty bad if you ask me. I was also reading your signature and Mattel will make a better Maryse figure then Jakks ever did I have nightmares about that nose.

I agree that Jakks PROTOTYPE wins, but let's wait and see the final product. I'm afraid she'll have orange skin, and the make-up will look HORRIBLE... I mean, this is Jakks, look at their past "Diva" figures to see my concern. Pretty much. Jakks always does that crap so I would not be surprised if her attire was just plain pink and no name on the butt. But I hope it stays because it is nice. I also hope she does not turn out to be a giant compared to the mattel divas. |

I love it! To be honest I like the way Jakks did the torso joint more than the way Mattel did. I just hope the final product looks as good.

Hot Damn, does she look awesome! Problem is though with jakks she'll almost be as tall as the Nash or Hogan figures, but I'll buy it anyway, and it does look superior to mattel's divas so far.

The scan is great. We'll see if it is painted properly in the final product. I still don't like the bodies Jakks uses. I much prefer the Mattel Diva body than the Jakks Knockout one. In the end though, we are comparing a Mattel proto with a Jakks proto. Mattel final products usually end up looking at least the same, or much better, while Jakks final products look much worse.

To be fair, Mattel really hasn't gotten the hang of female figures yet. Give them the type of time Jakks has had and they will be kicking the crap out of them.

Makes Melina look awful but what I think most of you are forgetting is that we are talking about two different lines. Velvet absolutely WILL NOT be in scale with Mattel's divas, so let that go right now.
I hope they get Angelina Love out before Jakks TNA completely tanks.

I'm waiting until I see final images for both figures.
Mattel often have horrid looking promotional pictures but the final figures are ok. Jakks often have fantastic proto pics with aweful final figures (ECW Kelly for example).
