I think the details are fantastic. I only wonder what the scale will be like. Mattel divas are far superior though, much more detail and they are all different scales.

JAKK's wins this round, no doubt about that. Just take a look at Velvet and then look at Melina. You can clearly see which fig looks better. VELVET!!!!   |

DA Velvet is FAR superior to any Mattel Diva figure. The best Mattel diva has been Beth. Scale or arm size or whatever. I am more interested in the scan than anything. Jakks wins here.

JAKK's wins this round, no doubt about that. Just take a look at Velvet and then look at Melina. You can clearly see which fig looks better. VELVET!!!! That doesn't mean anything it's just a proto picture.We all know Jakks beautiful figure.... and then boom it looks like a inbred and plastic combined. Mattel is way better then making figure then Jakks it's always gonna be like that. Jakks decides to give shark boy hot air balloons for arms. While each Mattel figure has correct arms and not balloons. It seems to be the opposite Mattel takes very bad pictures but there figures turn out great. Jakks takes great pictures and there figures turn out atrocious just like series one TNA. All the Mattel are detailed and Jakks are not. Mattel are all in scale something else Jakks doesn't care about  |

Looks great, BUT be prepared for all women to use that body for awhile. As i stated in the Jakks thread i believe that Jakks used the entire 2010 new parts budget to create this. Also the comparison to Mattels Melina is unfair. Mattels figure was a finished product while the Velvet we have seen is one of Jakks ALWAYS beatiful protos...which brings me to my next point. How much detail will be lost from this proto? This will be interesting as Jakks protos usually look better than the produced fig while Mattels produced figures look better than the protos. Only time will tell.

Jakks velvet proto looks far superior, but Immortal has hit the nail on the head. Look at the final products Jakks produce (Samoa Joe's non-kick pads for example) and then we can truly judge.
I for one think Mattel generally produce far better figures than Jakks.

I really like it. I'll buy it if it's anywhere near in scale with Mattels (ie if it's not the same size as Mattel Kane or Triple H or something). I might even buy it anyway, looks great and Velvet is the best female in wrestling.

Their women look good (I refuse to use the term knockouts but I also hate the term Diva) but their other figures fall way short of Mattel. I may buy TNA women but no others.

I expect the silver/grey trim to be gone,solid color hair with dry brush highlights, and the make up will be way off. Also she will be hella white since Jakks forgot the once had tan plastic. Embrace and behold this proto. The final product will not live up to this.

I agree that Jakks PROTOTYPE wins, but let's wait and see the final product.
I'm afraid she'll have orange skin, and the make-up will look HORRIBLE... I mean, this is Jakks, look at their past "Diva" figures to see my concern.

Also may I add I like collecting the WWE (Mattel) Divas because there's 17 Divas in total and 15 of them actually wrestle while you have the knockouts and only 9 of them wrestle it's a pretty big difference I dont buy the ones that dont wrestle so nine knockouts that's not a lot .
