I agree that Toney has better ko power but Boxing is Boxing Toney dosen't posses kicking or take down skill like Couture has. And those I believe are vital for Toney to put Couture away. And I also would'nt pull the "age" card on Couture because you could say the same for Toney. Toney really only will have any chance if he does what Carwin did to Mir Bring him to a corner and finish him. The question is can he do that! Plus you also talked about how Toney is big and how lesener best couture. When Lesner fought couture, couture was able to slam him and lesner had a huge weight advantage. Therefore I would'nt give Toney the weight factor. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but everything you said was pretty much covered in the responses to the article on the website, and I really go in-depth with my responses to those responses, so if you want my opinion on the matter, please just read them on the website. To sum it all up: I just think that no one except fans of Toney are giving him his due. He's by far one of the best in the game, he's been (T)KO'ing people since I was born. He's just a phenomenal athlete, don't let his looks or his marble-mouth promo's fool you. Toney is all kinds of awesome, and I just don't see Couture's chin or even his ribs (Toney has insane body punches) standing up to Toney's fists. On the flipside, I see Toney being able to SURVIVE (key word) the ground game long enough to get back on his feet and try for some more bombs, and I don't see Couture (T)KO'ing Toney because Toney has a concrete chin and has never been (T)KO'd in his career. That said, today's article focuses on Yushin Okami's continuing hunt for a Middleweight title shot. Get it here. Another great read there PDW, and after seeing how good Okami was against Sonnen at UFC 95 (though edged out by decision) and the other fights he's had since then, including the one on Sunday's Versus, I feel that what you've said seems to be true, that more exciting fighters are granted a title shot, whether it's what they do in the Octagon (or in Sonnen's case, what he says outside of it). As Okami doesn't possess the charisma that 'Sexyama' does, it's harder for him to be noticed, no matter how good his UFC record is (9-2 is nothing to sneeze at), I feel. I believe if he is able to defeat one more top contender, then I think he'd be ready, don't know about the rest of the UFC viewing public though... Cheers PDW!

I've always felt that Okami is there in terms of contenders, the biggest thing I think is missing from his record is that "big name" win in the UFC. Is he 9-2 in the Octagon? Yes. Has he scored that real attention grabbing top-contender win? No. Both times he has been put in that situation, he has fallen short against the opponent that could have been seen as his springboard to a title shot. (Franklin/Sonnen)
For Okami to finally get his title shot, he needs to unseat another top contender in the division to do it. His next win needs to be against someone like Maia or Marquardt then he will be ready for the shot.

completely agree....about Bones.
I think his next opponent will be Forrest.
But I would LOVE to see him fight Anderson. I don't think it will ever happen but damn it would be amazing to see.

Yep. Dana's response to Roger beating the piss out of the guy and stomping his head into the cement:
"In no way do I condone street fighting, but when a guy puts his hands on a woman he deserves to be knocked the f*ck out. Good for Roger."
The guy deserved it IMO. He WHACKED this girl from behind with a punch to the back of her head, knocking her out. He deserved to get his ass kicked.

I was worried this was going to be a report of him getting drunk and acting like an idiot. Very good to see he taught that moron a lesson. Looked like he wrecked that guys sh*t pretty badly too.

I bet the whole time, that big dude thought he was going to squash Roger considering the size advantage he had. But nope, he was the one who got stomped. Literally. I'm glad Roger kicked his ass. That scumbag deserved it for hitting a woman. *Edit* For those that have not seen it, here is the video of Huerta's street-fight. I can't believe people would actually help that piece of crap after what he did. If that were me, I'd spit on that motherfu*ker and kick him while he's down. The last thing I'd do is help him out. Actually, I would help him to his feet and then punch him in the face again. I'm glad Roger stomped that fuc*er out. Some people have to learn the hard way and that guy certainly did. I love how the entire clip is like 2 and a half minutes and it only took Roger about a minute, if that, to stomp that guy into the ground. I ing love it.

I think Koscheck is definitely great. He's got phenomenal wrestling and some pretty good stand-up. He's learned a lot since GSP and I think he's got a far better shot at taking down GSP than Hardy or Alves did. That said, two more for today. One concerns my thoughts on who Frankie Edgar should face should he end up winning the rematch against BJ Penn, and another is about why I think Matt Hughes will make one last run at the UFC welterweight championship. Get 'em here and here.

Another one up for today, focusing on three opponents I'd like Sonnen to face now that Belfort is more than likely next in line. Get it here.

I agree with Sonnen vs Vitor, as opposed to either man getting the match right off the bat. What has Vitor done in the last couple of years to deserve a title shot? And I've already said my piece about Sonnen.

Look at this idiotic comment in response to PdW's article:
"I really think Chael deserves a quick rematch because he had his victory stolen from him. It’s the first time I’ve actually been sick and slightly depressed for another guy’s loss, man he had him".
Sonnen had his victory "stolen from him"? Sonnen had nothing stolen from him - he simply wasn't good enough to finish the fight. He stole the victory from himself, because he couldn't get the job done.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sonnen against Wanderlei or Bisping, TBH, then inevitably Vitor.
