Sonnen had me legitimately defeated. Not worried, but defeated. Mad props and respect to him. No matter who he faces or if he even fights Anderson again, I now consider myself a Chael Sonnen fan. That was a truly amazing performance. But Anderson Silva, man...move over Lesnar, we got ourselves the best submission of the year right there. Just un- ing-believable. I have a feeling that now that Anderson Silva knows that the UFC Middleweight division has finally caught up to him, I think he'll train even harder and come in even better for his next fight. I honestly think Sonnen does deserve an immediate rematch. |

Sonnen talked a lot of crapand he backed everything he said up. Everything. I consider Sonnen the real winner there.

I'm not a fan of Silva at all but pulling off that submission and getting the win after getting beat up for 4 and a half rounds I now have a lot more respect for him and it really showed why he is the champ.

I hate Anderson Silva more than I can put into text. Its a shame a skumbag like him is champion. Its good to see though that he doesnt dance while hes getting the living Sh^t kicked out of him though. F Anderson Silva...Sonnen didnt tap either, that was lame.

Lyoto Machida: Ko'ed
Fedor: Choked out
BJ Penn: lost his belt
Brock Lesnar: Beaten up but rallied and won
Every Top guy but GSP has looked bad or lost in their last fights. Who knows, if Koscheck pulls off an upset, this is the craziest year in MMA

As great as a fight Sonnen put up, I don't need to see a re-match. I'm also a little sick of the tap/fake tap he attempts (see: Filho vs Sonnen 1)
I'd MUCH rather see GSP vs Anderson Silva. Sorry bandwagon Sonnen fans, but GSP finishes with a W in that fight, he doesn't leave himself open in such a sloppy fashion.
I'm extremely happy Sonnen did what he said he'd do. He went in, he took the fight to Silva and he beat him up. He just got carried away and lost focus.

As much as I love you bro...you have no ing clue what you're talking about, both on Sonnen tapping and Silva being a scumbag. Sonnen clearly tapped, watch the replay. People can give Sonnen their due, but you have to get Silva his due too. I'd also love to know why Silva is a scumbag just because he's had a few bad performances. Sonnen tested both Silva's heart and chin, and while Silva definitely squeaked out the W, a win is a win is a win. If people are so angry about it, just book the rematch already. But don't try to discount what Silva did, which was make an absolutely incredible comeback. |

With that performance, GSP is without question the P4P Number 1 fighter. I hate all this P4P crap, but this I believe is what it should be.
