WWE NXT Manchester, NH June 22, 2010
- After the pyrotechnics have gone off. we are welcomed to NXT. Josh Mathews informs us that since Michael Cole has been removed from all announce tables by Raw General Manager Bret Hart, he has been replaced here on NXT by former ECW commentator Byron Saxton. Mathews welcomes him to NXT. Saxton says that it's great to be here.
- Matt Striker is now on the stage with the Pros. He reminds us that next week, we will have our first rankings poll. He then tells us that tonight, the Pros will get to give their opinion on who should be ranked first and last. But right now, we will see the rookies in action.
Singles Match Alex Riley (0-1) def. Titus O'Neil (0-1)
Both of these rookies did not have a win under their belt prior to this match, so this was a very important match. Riley's pro, The Miz, could be seen with a bruise on his face, courtesy of Bryan Danielson. In the end, Riley rolled up Titus with a handful of tights to get his first win here on NXT.
|
- Miz seemed to be impressed with Riley's win. Zack Ryder was in the ring, looking very disappointed at his rookie, who is now 0-2.
- Husky Harris and the new Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes are shown backstage. Rhodes tells him that he wants things to be right between the two of them. He then says that everything can be right if Harris can clean up his attitude. Harris him that if they win tonight, he might think about accepting Rhodes as a mentor and a friend.
- A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris vs. Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicuty.
Commercial Break
- After we return, the Raw rebound is shown. It highlights the 4 MITB qualifiers, John Cena and Batista fighting to a double count out, and Drew McIntyre attacking Randy Orton.
Singles Match Percy Watson (1-0) def. Lucky Cannon (1-0)
Prior to the match, both rookies shook each others hand in a show of sportsmanship. A competitive match here as neither man wanted to lose their undefeated streak. In the end, Percy was able to hit his Float Over DDT to get the win. |
- Watson celebrated his win as he is now 2-0 on NXT. After Cannon got up, he and Watson shook each other's hand once again.
- While both rookies were still in the ring, The Miz got on the microphone. He said that what Watson and Cannon were just doing made him sick. He said that here in the WWE, you don't shake your opponent's hand. You show them no mercy in that ring. MVP told Miz "just like Bryan Danielson showed you no mercy last night?" Miz, who was now furious at that comment, marched down to ringside and got in MVP's face. He eventually shoved MVP and the two got into a fight. Henry, Watson, and Lucky tried to break the two of them up. Matt Striker came down and said that it looks like there is still some bad blood between these two, so here's whats going to happen. Next week on NXT, The Miz and Alex Riley will face MVP and Percy Watson.
Commercial Break
- Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicuty are shown walking to the ring. Kingston stops him and asks him what his problem is. McGillicuty says that when Wade Barrett beat him up two weeks ago, Kingston did nothing to stop him. He made him look like a fool on live television. Kingston asked him if there's anything he can do to make it up for him. McGillicuty says that the only thing he wants right now is a match with Wade Barrett.
Tag Team Match Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris (0-1) def. Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicuty (0-1)
This was certainly a very interesting match for a couple of reasons. These are the two pairing that got into a fist fight at the end of last weeks episode of NXT. Rhodes pinned Kofi at Fatal 4 Way to win the Intercontinental Title. And, neither of these rookies have had a win yet. but that will all change at the end of this match. Rhodes spent a lot of time working on Kingston. Kofi fought back soon and tagged in McGillicuty. He was very impressive against Rhodes, who soon tagged in Husky Harris. In the end, Harris did a running senton on McGillicuty to get the win for his team. |
- After the match, Rhodes and Harris seemed to be getting along for once. On the other hand, the relationship between Kingston and McGillicuty continued to sink. Matt Striker told Harris and Michael to stay at ringside because next, we will hear from the Pros about who is the best and who is the worst of the rookies.
Commercial Break
- All of the rookies were now at ringside. Matt Striker said that the Pros will now say who they think is the best and the worst of the bunch. MVP went first. He said that from what he's seen, Titus O'Neil is the least impressive rookie. Titus looked very disappointed. He then said that he doesn't mean to brag, but Percy Watson is the best. Watson had a very satisfied look on his face. Mark Henry said that he is impressed with Cannon, but he has to agree that Watson is at the top right now. He then said that he sees McGillicuty as the worst due to his attitude. Laycool says that the best is Kaval because he is learning from the best. They then say that Husky Harris is the worst because of his physical appearance. United States Champion John Morrison says that Eli Cottonwood is impressive due to his size, but he has to go with Percy Watson as the best. He says that Titus O'Niel isn't bad, but he's the least exciting person here. Cody Rhodes says that if this was last week, he would have said Husky Harris was the worst, but after the match he just had, he can tell that McGillicuty just flat out sucks. He then says that he feels that Kaval has the shown most out of all of the rookies, but if Harris keeps up the good work, he'll be number one. Zack Ryder is last, but all he talks about is how much Titus has embarrassed him on this show. He says that he has done everything to try and help him be the best, but Titus is just a bad listener. Titus tells Ryder that all he's done is tell him where to get clothes from and how to use social networking sites. Ryder walks down to ringside and gets in O'Niel's face. The two eventually get into a fight as all of the rookies try to break them up. All but Michael McGillicuty, who is leaving the scene. As he is walking up the ramp, Kofi Kingston tells him that he needs to get back down their because the show is not over. McGillicuty shoves Kingston.

Friday Night SmackDown! June 25, 2010 Manchester, NH
Superstars Kelly Kelly def. Rosa Mendes Curt Hawkins def. Finlay
- Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown! They tell us that tonight, we will have some of the qualifying matches for the SmackDown Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
- Teddy Long now comes to the ring. He says that he knows that everybody is wondering about this, so he's going to get straight to it. Drew McIntyre was fired at Fatal 4 Way, but there was something that he never knew about. In the contract that Drew signed a year ago, it stated that for him to be fired from the WWE, he has to be fired by Mr. McMahon. Since he fired Drew, he was only fired from SmackDown. He says that he was informed that Drew had a meeting with Bret Hart the next morning. So, Drew McIntyre is now officially a member of the Raw roster. But look on the bright side, there's a new addition to SmackDown, Bryan Danielson. After he said Bryan's name, he comes out to the ring. He tells Teddy that he's glad to be here. Teddy says that it's great he's here. "On Your Knees" hits as World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger and Unified Tag Team Champions The Dudebusters come to the ring. Swagger asks Teddy why he's giving this rookie the spotlight when he retained his World Heavyweight Title at Fatal 4 Way. Bryan tells Swagger that he needed help from The Dudelovers to win that much. Barreta and Croft get in Bryan's face, but Swagger tells them that he has this covered. He tells Bryan that since he thinks that he's the "best in the world", why doesn't he prove it and face him tonight. Bryan says that he wants a stipulation. If he wins, Swagger will defend the World title against him at Money In The Bank. Swagger says that's fine because Bryan's not gonna win.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Triple Threat Match Dolph Ziggler def. Rey Mysterio and The Big Show
Both Rey and Show really took it to Ziggler here. It looked like Ziggler had absolutely no chance of winning. Show and Rey had a friendly battle during the match. It was constantly interrupted by Ziggler, who always ended up being thrown out. In the end, Rey hit Show with the 619. While Rey was on the apron, Ziggler pulled him off. Ziggler went into the ring and applied the sleeper to Show. It looked like Show was losing consciousness, but Rey jumped off the ropes and went for his splash. It was at that time that Ziggler let go of the hold and moved out way, making Big Show the only person that Rey got with the splash. Ziggler then rolled up Rey with his hands on the ropes to get the win.
|
- Ziggler walked up the ramp celebrating his victory. Rey and Show looked disappointed, but they shook hands.
- Cody Rhodes is shown walking into Teddy Long's office. He says that since he's the Intercontinental Champion, he should automatically qualify for Money In The Bank. Teddy tells him that nobody is going to get a free pass into that match, so if he wants in he has to earn his spot just like everybody else. And his match is next.
Commercial Break
- After we return from commercial, we see the Straight Edge Society brutally beating down Kane. Punk hits Kane in the back with a chair to finish the assault.
- Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero are shown in Vickie's office celebrating Ziggler's huge win. Chavo soon walks in. Vickie and Dolph yell at him, asking him what he was thinking when he cost Ziggler the IC title at Fatal 4 Way. Chavo said that he was tired of being ignored by Vickie and being treated like crap by Dolph, so he did something about it. Vickie tells him that he shouldn't have done that, and he's going to pay for it.
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes def. Chris Masters
A decent match here. Rhodes showed the world here why he is the Intercontinental Champion. Despite Masters' size, Rhodes proved to be a challenge for him. In the end, Masters was attempting to apply the Master Lock, but Rhodes quickly went behind Masters and put him in position for Cross Rhodes. He dropped Masters with it and got the win. |
- Rhodes celebrated his win and looked up at the briefcase, signalling that it's his.
- Laycool is shown walking around the backstage area. They are soon met by Tiffany and Kelly Kelly. They tell Laycool that they are sick and tired of Laycool walking around here claiming to be co-champions. Michelle tells them that's too bad. Kelly says that it is too bad because Teddy Long is also tired of it. So he made a Fatal Four Way match between the four of them tonight, and the winner is the official sole owner of the Women's championship. Laycool is now in shock.
- A graphic for tonight's main event is shown. Jack Swagger vs. Bryan Danielson in a Non-Title match. But if Danielson wins, he will face Swagger for the title at Money In The Bank.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Christian def. CM Punk
A great first hour main event here. Both men really put on a good showing here. A lot of near falls in this one. Christian went to the top rope and looked to come down with a flying forearm, but the masked man pushed him off as Gallows had the referee distracted. It was at this time that Kane's pyro went off and he made his down the ramp. Gallows and the masked man attempted to beat him down again, but Kane got the better of them. While Punk was distracted, Christian came behind him and dropped him with The Killswitch. Christian got the cover to get the win. |
- Christian walked up the ramp celebrating his win. Kane entered the ring now. He waited for Punk to get up. After he did so, Kane dropped Punk with a chokeslam. Kane stood over all members of the SES.
- A graphic is shown for the next match. Michelle McCool vs. Layla vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Tiffany in a Fatal Four Way match for the Womens Championship.
Commercial Break
Fatal Four Way Match for the Womens Championship Kelly Kelly def. Michelle McCool, Layla, and Tiffany to WIN the Womens Championship
An actually above decent match here. Really fast paced since there were four competitors. Kelly and Tiffany both really wanted to get their hands on Laycool, and they got what they wanted. A lot of near falls that were broken up. Even Layla and McCool fought each other at some points in this match. In the end Tiffany and McCool were brawling on the outside, which gave Kelly the opportunity to hit Layla with the K2 to get the win and the title. |
- Kelly celebrated her win with the WWE Universe and Tiffany. Layla and Michelle both looked like they were about to cry. Nonetheless, Kelly Kelly is the new and sole owner of the Womens Title.
- Jack swagger and The Dudebusters are shown in their locker room. Swagger says that he appreciated the help at Fatal 4 Way, but tonight he really wants to take care of Danielson on his own. The Dudebusters say that they will honor Swagger's word. Barreta asks Croft if he's heard anything about The Hart Dynasty. Croft said that last he heard, they were in Calgary looking for new jobs.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Kofi Kingston def. Vance Archer
A decent match here. Kingston had something to prove since he just lost the Intercontinental title to Cody Rhodes this past Sunday at Fatal 4 Way. Curt Hawkins didn't play a big part in this match as Kingston took him out the second he tried to interfere. In the end, Kingston was able to hit Trouble in Paradise on Archer to get the win.
|
- After the match, Cody Rhodes came out to the stage. He held the IC title belt high in the air. Kingston told him that he won't have that title for long because he's using his rematch clause for next week. Rhodes tells Kingston that it doesn't matter when he gets his rematch, because he' still going to win because he is two things that Kofi is not. First is the Intercontinental Champion, and Second is Dashing.
A graphic for the main event is shown. Jack Swagger vs. Bryan Danielson. It is next.
Commercial Break
- Teddy Long is shown walking into the locker room of the SES. Punk tells Teddy that he's glad he's here. Punk says that he wants a 3 on 1 handicap match for Money In The Bank. The SES vs. Kane. Teddy says that he's not going to do that, but he will do something else. Since Kane and Punk have such bad blood, we will see who is the first one to drop some. Punk asks Teddy what he is talking about. Teddy says that at Money In The Bank, CM Punk will face Kane in a First Blood Match. Punk says that's fine because he's going to bust Kane open so bad he's going to have to wear a mask again. Teddy tells Punk that speaking of masks, Kane may have to take Punk's off to make him bleed. Punk is now in shock, as he realizes that Kane will have to take off his mask to win the match.
Non Title Match World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger def. Bryan Danielson
A fantastic main event here between to fine competitors. Surprisingly, The Dudebusters kept their word and didn't interfere in this match. Danielson really took Swagger to the limit here. He showed that he can be a true threat to the World title. Danielson had Swagger in a Crossface Chickenwing and it looked like Swagger was going to tap, but he was able to reach the ropes. In the end, Danielson missed the big kick to Swagger's head. This gave Swagger the opportunity to drop Danielson with the Gutwrench Powerbomb to get the win. |
- After the match, The Dudebusters came out to celebrate with Swagger. Soon after, Teddy Long came out. He said that he has news for Swagger and The Dudebusters. He said that he just got off the phone with Bret Hart, and he says that The Hart Dynasty knows when they will use their rematch clause. Teddy says that he knows Swagger's next opponent as well. Teddy said that he had an idea, and Bret Hart loved it so much that he decided to make it official. At Money In The Bank, it will be Jack Swagger and The Dudebusters vs. The Undertaker and The Hart Dynasty in a 6 Men Winners Take All Tag Team Match. Swagger and The Dudebusters are now in shock.

-Good promo. Danielson/Swagger should be solid. -Ziggler over Mysterio and Show is something WWE wouldn't do. And something they need to do. Good call. -Rhodes over Masters is a nice call. -Christian over Punk was smart since Punk has overcome mid-card gold. Can see him taking the WHC. -Nice to see someone other than Lay-Cool as champion. Kelly Kelly should get a very, very long reign. Just to see someone else as champion. -Kofi over Archer is good either way. Push Archer. -Danielson losing to Swagger was close. Wouldn't have minded to see a new challenger but it looks to be Mysterio's shot or something like that. -Good show; lots of good calls and nice options.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 25th June 2010...Decent promo to kick off SmackDown explaining the situation with Drew McIntyre and it was all fine. Jack Swagger coming onto the scene was alright too, but Swagger facing Bryan Danielson should have been the opening contest realistically. Just too soon and Danielson would not be a profitable name that you would get ratings off of. He's not over enough for this. Dolph Ziggler beating Rey Mysterio and Big Show was random, alright qualifying contest though and I am glad that Ziggler got in. Mysterio will hopefully follow and get into the ladder match too. Cody Rhodes beating Chris Masters was predictable, good win for the WWE Intercontinental Champion but I don't see him as credible enough to win Money in the Bank yet. Same for Ziggler, really. The stipulation for the non-title match scares me; thing is you have had no pre-match build for Danielson and him being SmackDown's newest acquisation; would make things worse. You have decent opposition to the World Heavyweight Championship like Rey Mysterio, Big Show and CM Punk. I have no idea why you think Danielson, unless it's a one-off opportunity [and I'm hoping it is]. Christian beating CM Punk was the best decision to go as Punk has already won two Money in the Bank matches in consequtive years; a third year in a row would be terrible. Christian's the best option so far for possibilities to win Money in the Bank. Not that sure why Kelly Kelly won the WWE Womens Championship in a fatal four-way match here when there was a pay-per-view called Fatal 4 Way five days before. Not fond of the extremely short title reign for Layla, but Kelly winning was nice. Vance Archer with Curt Hawkins losing was absymal; did nothing for Archer and Hawkins. Kofi Kingston winning was predictable and there was no way Archer would have won. You should give them a better chance. Lastly, Swagger beating Danielson is the best way, but a weak main event to be honest. A decent show, just some things I'm unsure of.

-There are currently talks of a Chris Jericho face turn sometime in the future. Nothing is official yet though.
- It is expected that SummerSlam will be the place where a couple of feuds have its blow off match. Some of the feuds include Orton/Edge, Kane/SES, Cena/Batista, and Swagger/Taker.
- Speaking of Orton, it is expected that he will have a short term feud with Drew McIntyre.
- The fact that the WWE will hold a First Blood match between Kane and CM Punk at Money In The Bank may show that they are slowly reverting back to their TV-14 rating.

Their match should be great. -Ziggler over Show and Mysterio is unexpected, but still nice. -Rhodes winning is great for he is the IC Champion. -Christian winning is nice. Monday Night Raw June 28, 2010 Philadelphia, PA
Superstars Vladimir Kozlov def. Santino Marrela Gail Kim def. Rosa Mendes
After the pyrotechnics have all gone off, we are welcomed to Raw for the first time in a little over 2 years by the announce team of Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. They tell us that tonight, we will see the rest of the qualifying matches for Money In The Bank. Plus, a huge main event that will see WWE Champion Chris Jericho going one on one with John Cena.
"Voices" hits as Randy Orton comes down to the ring. He says that he's not wasting anytime tonight. He wants Drew McIntyre to comes down here right now. After a few seconds of silence, "Broken Dreams" plays as McIntyre comes to the ring. Orton tells Drew that he should RKO him right now, but he's going to let him explain himself first. Drew said that while he was on SmackDown, he heard a lot of people talking about Orton. They all said that he is the top dog here on Raw, and that he is a future Hall of Famer. McIntyre said that he didn't want to start from the bottom on Raw, so he decided to launch himself into the spotlight by taking out the number one superstar on Raw. Orton tells him that if he really wants to make an impact, he will face him in a match right here and right now. Drew thinks about it for a bit before slapping Orton. Drew then kicks him in the gut and tries to apply the Future Shock, but Orton quickly escapes it and plants McIntyre with an RKO. The crowd goes crazy as Orton poses in the ring over McIntyre's lifeless body.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match R Truth def. Zack Ryder
A decent opening contest on Raw. This was the first time we've seen Truth in a while, so of course he got a very nice greeting from the crowd here in Philadelphia. Ryder showed that he can be a major player on Raw in this match. In the end, Truth was able to put Ryder away with the Lie Detector to get the win.
|
We now see Bret Hart in his office. Wade Barrett soon walks in. He tells Bret that he wants a qualifying match for Money In The Bank. Bret asks him why he wants to be in MITB when he already has a promised title shot on PPV? Barrett tells him that he wants to get his hands on Evan Bourne and make sure that he doesn't come close to something that he doesn't deserve. Plus, he can get a bonus and get a second title match just in case his first doesn't go his way. which is highly unlikely. Bret tells him that if he really wants a qualifying match, he has one for later tonight.
Josh Mathews is now standing by with Sheamus. Mathews asks him if he is confident going into Money In The Bank. Sheamus says that he does feel confident, but he doesn't want to be in Money In The Bank. He says that he should be challenging for the WWE Title instead of John Cena and Batista. But if being in MITB is the only way that he can get a title shot, then he will run through everybody in the match.
A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. WWE Champion Chris Jericho vs. John Cena
Commercial Break
After we return from the commercial break, Jim Ross informs us about a big announcement that Bret Hart made during the commercial break. At Money In The Bank, Randy Orton will go one on one with Drew McIntyre.
"I Came To Play" hits as The Miz comes to the stage. He says that before he destroys Goldust and qualifies for Money In The Bank, he wants everybody to meet somebody. Michael Cole now walks out with an "I'm Awesome" shirt on. Miz says that since Cole was removed from the broadcasting team, he now serves him as his manager. Miz tells us to welcome the #1 Mizfit, "Vintage" Michael Cole.
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match The Miz def. Goldust
Miz seemed to be a lot more aggressive here tonight. It's not surprising seeing as how he was embarrassed last week by Bryan Danielson. Michael Cole cheered on Miz as he ran right through Goldust. In the end, Miz was able to drop Goldust with the Skull Crushing Finale to get the victory. |
Michael Cole and Miz celebrated the big win. Miz says that at Money In The Bank, he will climb up the ladder, take down the briefcase and become the WWE Champion and finally shut the haters up because he's The Miz and he's Awesome.
We now see WWE Champion Chris Jericho in his locker room when Wade Barrett walks in. Barrett tells Jericho that he wants to thank him one more time for everything that he's done for him since the beginning of NXT. Jericho asks him if he knows what he's going to do with his title shot. Barrett says that he has a good idea of what he wants to do.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank qualifying Match United States Champion John Morrison def. Ezekiel Jackson w/ Ted DiBiase via disqualification.
A pretty good first hour main event. Morrison was looking for revenge here against Jackson, who returned last week and took Morrison out. DiBiase, who has already secured his spot on MITB, came to the ring with a briefcase. Morrison really kept a good eye on that. In the end, Morrison had Jackson in position for the Starship Pain. While Morrison had his legs on the ropes, Ted struck him in the head with the briefcase. |
After the match, DiBiase grabbed a microphone. He gave Jackson the briefcase, which turned out to have a ton of money in it. DiBiase said "Here, you can have this. I don't want that briefcase." He then looked up at the Raw MITB Briefcase before saying" But I want that briefcase."
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Wade Barrett def. Yoshi Tatsu
This was pretty much a squash. Barrett just ran right through Tatsu here. Barrett showed here why he is the next big thing on Raw. In the end, Barrett dropped Tatsu with The Wasteland to pick up the victory.
|
Barrett celebrated his win as an updated graphic for the Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match is shown. The 8 participants are John Morrison, Ted DiBiase, Evan Bourne, Edge, R Truth, The Miz, Sheamus, and Wade Barrett.
While Barrett was celebrating, Evan Bourne came down to the ring. Bourne hit Barrett with a high knee and then hit Airbourne on him. The tables have now turned as it was Evan Bourne who attacked Wade Barrett.
Commercial Break
After we return from the commercial break, we see a graphic that announces a match for next weeks Raw. It will be Wade Barrett vs. Evan Bourne.
Non Title Match Alicia Fox def. Divas Champion Eve
A regular Divas match here. A rematch from two weeks ago. During the match, Maryse came down to watch the match. She still seems very upset that she did not get to guest host Raw last week, but we are informed that Bret Hart will give Maryse another chance sometime in the future. In the end, Maryse showed to be a huge distraction for Eve as Alicia was able to hit the Axe Kick on Eve to get the shocking win. |
After the match, Alicia took the Divas title and posed with it. While she was doing that, Maryse went into the ring and dropped Fox with the French Kiss. Maryse held up the Divas Title over both Eve and Fox.
The graphic for the Cena/Jericho bout is shown for the last time because it is up next.
Commercial Break
Non Title Match WWE Champion Chris Jericho fought John Cena to a no contest
A good main event here. Cena showed Jericho that he can take his title in an instant at MITB. Jericho didn't let Cena get the better of him though as he was on top of his game here and got a lot of good offense here. In the end, Jericho had Cena locked in the Walls of Jericho. It looked like Cena was going to tap out, but Batista hit the ring and took out the referee.
|
With the referee out, Batista clotheslined Jericho. He brought Cena to his feet, but Cena fought back. Batista put Cena in position for a Batista Bomb, but it was reversed into an Attitude Adjustment. While Cena was standing tall over his two opponents at Money In The Bank, Sheamus came to the ring and took Cena out with a Pump Kick. While Sheamus was beating down on Cena, Edge came out and speared Sheamus. Edge then grabbed a ladder and set it up in the ring. He climbed to the top. He then said that he doesn't care who the WWE Champion is, whether it be Jericho, Cena, Batista, Sheamus, or anybody else, he will take their title just like that by doing something that he has done twice and that is cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase to become champion. Edge takes the briefcase down and holds it high above his head to end this episode of Monday Night Raw.

-Good promo to heat up some tension between McIntyre and Orton. Them at FFW sounds good since the MITB slots are filled. -Truth over Ryder is a good call. Hoping for a Ryder push but Truth is a fantastic competitor too. -Miz over Goldust is a good call since Miz needs the push since he is just, awesome. Goldust can be useable too though. -Morrison over Jackson is good even with the DQ finish. -Barrett over Tatsu is realistic. Weird though as Tatsu is a good enough competitor to put up against Barrett if he can put up with Kozlov and all. -Fox over Eve is a decent call either way since the diva's division doesn't mean too much and hasn't since 2005. -The No Contest finish was very nice and the post-match actions were solid. Edge winning MITB wouldn't hurt. But it looks like Miz's time. Still loving the unpredictablity. -Great show; nice to hype MITB. The card looks nice.

-Good opening promo with Orton/McIntyre. Their feud would be great. -Truth over Ryder is nice. Wouldn't mind seeing either man with the US Title Soon. -Miz over Goldust is good. Wonder how this Cole/Miz combination will go. -Morrison vs Jackson ending in DQ is decent. The DiBiase/Jackson combination is great as well. -Barrett over Tatsu is good. -Fox over Eve is nice. Wonder if Fox will get an title shot after beating the champ. -Cena/Jericho match ending in No Contest is a great call. The post match actions were legit as well. Overall, nice RAW.

After the pyrotechnics display blasts, Josh Mathews and Byron Saxton welcome us to NXT. This is a very important show since the first ever Rankings poll will be revealed. We remind everybody that there will not be an elimination tonight.
Matt Striker is standing on the stage with all of the Pros. Striker tells them to evaluate the rookies carefully tonight, as should the WWE Universe because they have power in the too. He then brings out all of the rookies. He says that right now, we will have our first contest of this season. Two referees then bring out a keg. Striker tells the rookies that they must carry the keg around the ring and back to the stage as fast as they can. The winner of this contest will receive a match next week against any of the rookies of their choosing.
- Michael McGillicuty goes first. He finishes with a time of 12.8 seconds. - Percy Watson is next. He finishes with a time of 13.9 seconds. - Eli Cottonwood is next, but the keg slips out of his hands. - Titus O'Niel is next. He finishes with a time of 15.4 seconds. - Lucky Cannon is next. He finishes with a time of 14.4 seconds. - Alex Riley goes next. He finishes with a time of 12. 4 seconds. - Husky Harris is next. He finishes with a time of 15.7 seconds. - Kaval goes last. He attempts to lift up the keg but is unable to do so.
Alex Riley is announced as the winner of the keg carrying contest. Riley celebrates by making fun of Kaval for not even being able to pick up the keg. Riley calls Kaval a 'loser'. Kaval responds to this by running up the stage and delivering a dropkick to Riley. After Riley gets back to his feet, he goes after Kaval, but the rookies hold him back. Matt Striker asks Riley if he knows who he wants to face next week. Riley says that he wants to get his hands on this little nerd, Kaval. Alex Riley vs. Kaval for next week on NXT.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Michael McGillicuty (0-2) def. Lucky Cannon (1-1)
A good opening contest here on NXT. McGillicuty needed a win here if he wanted to have a chance of staying away from rank #8. Everything went his way though as he was able to hit a swinging neckbreaker on Lucky to get the win. |
McGillicuty celebrated his first win here on NXT. Kofi Kingston then came into the ring. He told McGillicuty that if he wants to become a WWE superstar, he will have to learn to respect his opponents. He then tells Michael to shake Cannon's hand. Cannon extends his hand to him. but McGillicuty only gives him a kick to the mid section. McGillicuty leaves the ring as Kingston looks disappointed.
Commercial Break
We see a promo hyping WWE Money In The Bank.
Tag Team Match The Miz & Alex Riley (1-1) def. MVP & Percy Watson(2-0)
A good tag match here with two rookies and two pros. This match came together after a brawl ensued last week between Miz & MVP. Riley looked to be in a much more ruthless mood after Kaval attacked him earlier. He was also looking to end Percy Watson's undefeated streak here on NXT. In the end, Riley hit the Your Dismissed on Watson to get the pin and give the energetic star his first loss.
|
Miz and Riley celebrated their as the Pros looked to be taking notes on what they just saw from both rookies.
Commercial Break
The Raw Rebound is shown. It focuses on the opening segment with Randy Orton & Drew McIntyre, and the events at the end of the show with Edge standing tall on a ladder, claiming that he will win Money In The Bank.
Fatal Four Way Match Kaval (1-0) def. Eli Cottonwood (1-0), Husky Harris (1-1), and Titus O'Neil (0-2)
A decent match here. Very fast paced, but that wasn't a surprise due to the amount of competitors in the match. Titus had the most to gain out of all the rookies here as he hasn't even gotten a win yet. Things still didn't go his way as Kaval hit him with The Warrior's Way on him to get the win.
|
Kaval and Laycool celebrated the big win. Matt Striker told the WWE Universe to log on to wwe.com and vote, and for the Pros to huddle up because when we return, we will have our first rankings for the rookies.
Commercial Break
After we return, we see all of the rookies standing outside of the ring. Matt Striker tells them that there will not be an elimination tonight, but whoever is ranked last will certainly need to step their game up. Striker asks the rookies if they're ready for the rankings. They all say yes. Striker says that it's time to reveal the rankings.
#1. Alex Riley #2. Kaval #3. Percy Watson #4. Husky Harris #5. Michael McGillicuty #6. Lucky Cannon #7. Eli Cottonwood #8. Titus O'Niel
Matt Striker asks the rookies how they feel about their rankings. Alex Riley says that he is not surprised that he's #1 because nobody else here matches his athletic ability. Kaval says that he is happy to be #2 because that means that the WWE Universe has accepted him. Percy Watson says that #3 is not bad, but he will find his way into #1 sooner or later. Harris says that as of late, he's been able to tolerate Cody Rhodes and he feels that it doesn't matter what rank he is right now because in the end, he will be #1. Michael McGillicuty says that #5 is unacceptable for him. Kofi Kingston stands up and says that he should be happy that he gave him that boost, because originally he was ranked last, but the Pros liked his ruthless attitude so he let them put him at #5. McGillicuty walked up the ramp and got in Kingston's face, saying that he doesn't need any favors from anybody to help him win. Luck Cannon says that #6 is fine for now, but there's always room for improvement and he's sure that with Mark Henry behind him, he can find that improvement. Eli Cottonwood says that being ranked #7 is bad, but with him being a giant, he can just stomp his way to #1. Titus O'Niel says that he wouldn't be ranked last if he had a Pro who knows what he's doing. Zack Ryder goes to ringside and gets in Titus' face. Suddenly, a fight breaks out between Kingston and McGillicuty. While everybody is trying to break them up, Titus and Ryder get into a fight as well. Everybody tries to break up both fights as NXT closes.

- I'm a big Riley fan, have been since FCW, so him winning is great. Him vs Kaval shall be good. - McGillicutty defeating Cannon I am very much fine with, as he is much better - although Lucky should last a while. - Miz and Riley over MVP and Watson is meh. Watson could of used this victory as Riley has immunity. - Kaval winning the fatal four way match was a solid call, as he is more credible then the rest of them. - Riley being #1 with immunity definitely makes him look very strong. I would switch Cannon and Harris, however. - The dysfunctional actions of McGillicutty/Kingston and Titus/Ryder makes for a good ending to the show.
A good show.

-Good start. Did something like this on my latest NXT. -McGillicutty over Cannon is solid. Hoping that McGillicutty goes on a long winning streak. -Miz and Riley over MVP and Watson is a decent call. Hoping you push Watson as well as MVP. I know Riley is going to get a push. He's naturally gifted and very good in the ring. -Kaval was the best choice to win there tonight. So happy it happened. -Good NXT. Nothing special but good.

WWE RAW: Monday 28th June 2010...Vladimir Kozlov beating Santino Marella is fine, I suppose. Gail Kim overcoming Rosa Mendes came as no surprise; Mendes is no use to anybody anymore. A solid promo to kick off the show with Randy Orton in the ring, but not a fan of Drew McIntyre in the ring with him. Too soon for McIntyre in my mind. And Orton laying him out made McIntyre look even more ridiculous. R-Truth beating Zack Ryder to get into Money in the Bank is most realistic. Wade Barrett feuding with Evan Bourne could be good. Orton facing McIntyre at Money in the Bank? Meh. The Miz beating Goldust was predictable; you need some more competitive qualifying matches in my mind. John Morrison beating Ezekiel Jackson; that did the job. Great to see Zeke with Ted Dibiase, but Zeke is out with a torn quadricept muscle; doubt he'd be here. The disqualification finish means that this situation is not finished yet. Wade Barrett beating Yoshi Tatsu; so obvious. Barrett seems so unfitting in Money in the Bank; it seems slightly overpacked. Alicia Fox beating Eve is good; I'd be satisfied if Alicia became WWE Divas Champion honestly. Lastly, competitive main event with Chris Jericho and John Cena brawling to a no contest. Batista, Edge and Sheamus' involvement is great but this is a clustered main event picture you've illustrated. Overall a decent show, but the card seemed extremely weak and lacked quite a few superstars.

-Great way to open the show with Riley winning the keg challenge. Him vs Kaval next week should be sweet. -McGillicutty over Lucky is nice. Hope to see them in NXT for a while. -Miz and Riley over Watson and MVP is nice. -Kaval winning is decent. It makes him look more credible. -The brawl between O'Neil/Ryder and Kingston/McGillcutty should turn out interesting for next weeks NXT. Overall, great NXT.

Superstars Dolph Ziggler def. JTG
Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown!. They tell us that tonight, we will see the remaining qualifying matches for Money In The Bank, as well as a last chance battle royal.
"On Your Knees" hits as the World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger and Unified Tag Team Champions The Dudebusters make there way to the ring. The announcers remind us that at Money In The Bank, these three men will defend their titles against The Undertaker and The Hart Dynasty. But right now, Swagger is in action.
Non Title Match World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger def. Tyson Kidd
A good opening contest here for SmackDown. Swagger was very relentless on the attack against Tyson. Barreta and Croft made sure that Smith and Natalya did not get involved here. In the end. Swagger was able to drop Kidd with the Gutwrench Powerbomb to pick up the win. |
After the match, The Dudebusters went into the ring to beat down on Tyson Kidd. This prompted DH Smith to attack The Dudebusters and Swagger. The heel team got the better of The Hart Dynasty as Swagger dropped Smith with a Gutwrench Powerbomb on top of Kidd. The champions stood tall in the ring until a loud gong was heard. Swagger and The Dudebusters left the ring immediately.
The Big Show is shown in his locker room when Rey Mysterio walks in. The shake hands. Rey tells Show that they are both in the last chance battle royal tonight, and he just wants to make sure that no matter whats happens, their friendship will still be intact. Show tells Rey that a battle royal won't come in between their friendship.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Matt Hardy def. Curt Hawkins
We saw Hawkins' tag team partner, Vance Archer, attempt to qualify for Money In The Bank last week, but was unsuccessful. So Hawkins decided to try his hand at qualifying tonight. Matt Hardy has been on a roll ever since he beat Dew McIntyre at Fatal 4 Way. Hardy continued his roll tonight as he was able to put Hawkins away with a Twist of Fate to get the win. |
Matt Hardy celebrated his win as he pointed to the briefcase hanging high above, saying that it's his.
Josh Mathews is now standing by with the new Womens Champion, Kelly Kelly. Mathews asks her if she is ready for any challenges to her title. Kelly says that she is. Mathews tells that she better be because he was told that at Money In The Bank, she will have her first title defense against Michelle McCool. Kelly says that she's ready for her. Suddenly, Laycool comes up from behind her and attacks her. They tell her that for her to become champion, she has to pin the both of them.
A graphic is shown for the Intercontinental title match later tonight between Cody Rhodes and Kofi Kingston.
Commercial Break
"This Fire Burns" hits as The Straight Edge Society comes to the ring with security to keep them protected from Kane.
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match MVP def. Luke Gallows
A decent match here. All other members of the SES tried to interfere at several point throughout the match. Towards the end of the match, Kane's pyro went off, which actually scared the SES's security away. After Kane came out, all of the SES ran through the crowd to get away from him. Kane followed them. Gallows, who was distracted by this, turned around and was met with the 305 from MVP. This was enough to get him the win. |
MVP celebrated his win as Gallows ran to the back to look for the SES.
Chavo Guerrero is shown in his locker room when Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero walk in. Vickie tells Chavo that he better pray that he doesn't win his qualifying match tonight. Because if he does, he's going to have to deal with Ziggler. Dolph tells Chavo that he should take him out right now, but he's going to let Chavo's opponent do that.
Kofi Kingston is shown walking to the ring. His match with Cody Rhodes for the IC title is next.
Commercial Break
Intercontinental Championship Cody Rhodes (c) def. Kofi Kingston to retain
A good first hour main event. Both men looked really good in this match. Both got an equal amount of offense and it looked like it could've been anybody's match. In the end, Kofi had Cody in perfect position for Trouble in Paradise. As Kofi was turning around. Rhodes caught and dropped him with Cross Rhodes to retain his title. |
Rhodes celebrated his win before grabbing a mic. He said that the WWE Universe will have something very soon that they have never had before, and that is a dashing Mr. Money In The Bank.
The Straight Edge Society are shown running in the parking. They are seen getting in a car. As Gallows is trying to get in, Punk throws him out, telling him that he still has to compete in the last chance battle royal. Gallows says that he doesn't care about that, but Punk sees Kane and he immediately closes the door and drives away. After Gallows turns around, Kane grabs him and Chokeslams him onto the concrete. Kane gets in a car and chases after the SES.
Commercial Break
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Bryan Danielson def. Chavo Guerrero
A solid match here. About halfway through the match, Dolph Ziggler came down to watch the match. This proved to be a huge distraction for Chavo as Danielson was able to put him in the Cattle Mutilation to get the submission victory. |
After the match, Ziggler went into the ring. He raised Bryan's hand before attacking Chavo. Danielson then locked Ziggler in a Cross Face Chicken Wing. After Ziggler passed out, Danielson put his foot on his chest and pointed at the briefcase.
A vignette is shown for Shad Gaspard, who will be returning to SmackDown in two weeks.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Michelle McCool def. Tiffany
Decent match here. McCool and Layla made crude remarks about Tiffany's skirt several times throughout the match. In the end, McCool was able to plant Tiffany with the Faith Breaker to get the win. |
Laycool celebrated after the match. As they were doing so, Kelly Kelly ran down to the ring. She threw Layla out of the ring and hit the K2 on McCool. Kelly raised her Womens Title in the air, showing that she is ready for McCool at Money In The Bank.
Dolph Ziggler was shown in Vickie's office. He told her that Teddy Long should be punished for signing that mad man Bryan Danielson. Vickie told Ziggler that everything will be okay, because he will go one on one with Bryan next week.
The Big Show is shown walking to the ring for the last chance battle royal, which is next.
Commercial Break
A promo for Money In The bank is shown.
Josh Mathews is now standing by with Christian. Mathews asked him if he feels confident going into Money In The Bank. Christian tells him that he feels confident, but he's not sure about his opponents. but we will all find out how they feel because next week, they will all be guests on The Peep Show.
Matt Hardy is shown walking around the backstage area when he meets his former rookie, Justin Gabriel. Matt asks him what he's doing here. Gabriel tells him that he has a meeting with Teddy Long about the possibilities of him signing with SmackDown. Matt tells him that's great and he hopes to see him more often around here.
Last Chance Battle Royal Rey Mysterio last eliminated Luke Gallows to win
The participants here were Rey Mysterio, The Big Show, Luke Gallows, Curt Hawkins, Vance Archer, Chavo Guerrero, and Chris Masters. Chavo was the first to go out after he was easily tossed out by Big Show. Curt Hawkins was the next one out by Chris Masters. Soon after, Masters was tossed out by Archer. We were now down to the final four. Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Luke Gallows, and Vance Archer. It actually stayed like this for a while. It had to have been at least four minutes before our next elimination. big Show went to stand on the ring apron, telling Archer and Gallows to try to knock him off. Neither men were successful at this. Mysterio soon came and hit a 619 on Show, causing him to fall of the apron. Show was shocked that his friend, Rey Mysterio, was the one to eliminate him. Rey now had a battle between the two big men of Gallows and Archer. Archer had Rey up on his shoulder for a powerbomb, but Rey was able to hang onto Archer and toss him over the top rope. It was now down to two. Rey and Gallows. The two went at it for a bit. Gallows clotheslined Rey and it looked like he was out cold. Gallows put Rey on his right shoulder and looked to throw him out of the ring. Rey was able to reverse it though and toss Gallows out, much like the way that he won the 2006 Royal Rumble, and win the last spot in Money In The Bank. |
Rey celebrated his big win with the WWE Universe. He got down on his knees in the middle of the ring and looked up at the briefcase. This was the last scene that we saw on this edition of Friday Night SmackDown!.

-Okay. Solid start to the show. This could have main evented or first-hour main evented but I love to see huge matches kick off the show. Swagger over Kidd is a strong way to build him up. -Hardy over Hawkins is a solid call. At this point, I really don't care who wins MITB. Those are all awesome competitiors and all deseve it. -Cody Rhodes over Kofi Kingston is good as it gives him some momentum for MITB and makes him a strong champion. -Danielson over Guerrero was an obvious call. Danielson really needed it after his loss to Swagger. -McCool over Tiffany is fine. McCool is better so nothing wrong there. -Rey Mysterio winning is a strong call here tonight. He was probably the most credible. Mysterio usually doesn't get too many pushes so him winning MITB would be the most shocking. -Very good SmackDown; didn't find anything wrong much here. Did an awesome job as usual.
