-Good promo for RAW. Loving the stip for No Mercy. Wonder if Cena will leave RAW, go to SD! and go into his Word Life gimmick. I went there, should be interesting. -Sheamus and Barrett retaining was expected since they've been champions for just 1 day now. -Bourne and Morrison over Truth and Jericho was a good call either way. Strong start to RAW. -Ziggler over HHH was a big shocker but really cements his push as well as hypes the Booker/HHH match. -Booker over Cena was pretty good and glad Cena was not pinned there. -DiBiase and Jericho for the MITB sounds great. No Mercy is looking very good right now. -Melina over Fox was expected since she's champion. -Orton over Batista was expected too. Good main event. Great post-match action too. Looks like Cena/Orton next week or so. -Good show; looking forward to No Mercy.

- The decision to have Cody Rhodes cash in MITB and win the World Heavyweight Championship on the final Friday edition of Smackdown was actually penciled in ever since he won the briefcase from Kofi Kingston. - When Kofi Kingston had the Money In The Bank briefcase, plans called for him to be the first person to lose upon cashing it in. He suffered an injury at a house show in August, which was the reason for him dropping the briefcase to Rhodes. - It was announced on WWE.com on Saturday that Rey Mysterio has a couple of choices for what he can do at No Mercy. He can use his rematch clause and face Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Championship, defend the Intercontinental Title against Bryan Danielson, or pull off double duty and compete in both matches. Rey will make his decision this Thursday on SmackDown's SyFy debut.

Monday Night Raw | September 27, 2010 Know Your Enemy
After Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw, John Cena comes down to the ring to a great ovation from the WWE Universe. He doesn't do anything once he's in the ring. He just waits. Soon, Randy Orton comes down to an even louder ovation. Just like Cena, he does nothing when he's in the ring. Batista soon joins Cena and Orton in the ring. Nobody seems to know what's going on. Finally, the WWE Champion The Miz makes his entrance. All four men stare at each other for the time being. Raw General Manager Abraham Washington then comes out onto the stage. Washington says that he knows everybody's confused, but he's going to explain himself. Before the show began, he told the four men in the ring to go down to the ring. He also ordered them not to have any physical contact. He then says that there is a very special guest visitor who wants to talk to them. Soon, the new World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes comes out to the stage. He shakes Washington's hand before the GM leaves the scene. Rhodes says that first, he wants the WWE Universe to give him a big round of applause for becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion on the final Friday edition of SmackDown!. The crowd gives him the exact opposite of what he wished for. Rhodes says that at No Mercy, the four men in the ring will compete in a match where one of them will be forced to leave Raw and join SmackDown. Rhodes says that he doesn't care which one of them goes to SmackDown, but that person will have to understand that they are stepping onto his show and the best thing for them to do is to stay away from him and his World Heavyweight Championship. Rhodes says that before he leaves, he wants to hear them congratulate him. Orton takes a microphone and says that if he is the one who will have to leave Raw and go to SmackDown, he will takes Rhodes' title in an instant with an RKO. Rhodes then says that Orton's just jealous that one of his "past stooges" is on his way to becoming a bigger star. Orton gives Rhodes a cold stare before Rhodes walks to the back. Abraham Washington now comes back out to the stage, saying that he's disappointed in them, claiming that they should show some respect to the new champion. Washington finished the segment off by saying that tonight, the two teams will be opponents. Batista will take on The Miz, and John Cena will take on Randy Orton. Commercial BreakNon Title MatchUnited States Champion Evan Bourne def. Booker TA very solid contest to open up Raw. Bourne got the crowd out of their seats as soon as he came out through the curtain. Both of these men really needed to pick up a win here for momentum purposes. Booker was going to hit the Scissors Kick, but Bourne was able to move out of the way and hit Booker with a high knee. Bourne went for Airbourne, but Booker slid out of the ring. He walked back up the entrance ramp, but Triple H came down and stalked Booker until he was back in the ring. When Booker turned around, he found himself in a small package. Bourne got the win right there. |
Bourne celebrated his win following the match as Booker looked on in disbelief. Triple H mocked Booker on the stage. Booker will have his chance to get revenge this Sunday at No Mercy. The Miz was shown in his locker room talking to Batista. Miz said that if Batista wants his shot at the WWE Title, he'll do the right thing and forfeit tonight. Batista says that he doesn't need to do favors anymore because his shot is Sunday. Batista walks out of the locker room as Miz looks on at him with a furious look. Commercial BreakSingles Match Dolph Ziggler def. Chris Jericho
A good match here between one of Raw's top stars and one of Raw's up an coming stars. Ziggler got a countout victory last week against Triple H. Tonight, he was looking for a pinfall victory over Y2J. The match was going good, but it took a turn towards the end when Jericho had Dolph locked in the Walls Of Jericho. During this time, Ted DiBiase came running down to the ring. He was able to distract the referee long enough for Ziggler to drop Jericho with a Zig Zag to get the victory. |

Ziggler was ecstatic following the match. He accomplished what he set out to do tonight and that was score a pinfall victory over Chris Jericho. But he couldn't do it without a bit of help from Ted DiBiase. Following the match, DiBiase nailed Jericho in the head with his Money In The Bank briefcase. DiBiase stood tall over Jericho to get a huge momentum boost for No Mercy. A graphic is shown for tonight's main event - John Cena vs. Randy Orton. Commercial BreakA preview is shown for SmackDown's return to Thursday nights starting this Thursday live on SyFy. Non Title MatchWWE Champion The Miz def. Batista via countout A decent first hour main event here. Most of the crowd seemed bored by it simply for the fact that it was heel vs. heel. Surprisingly, Miz had no problem going after Batista. Same thing vice versa. In the end, Batista dropped The Miz with a Batista Bomb. Batista had the chance to pin the WWE champion, but he instead left the ring. The referee began his count, but Batista did not give a single care about that. He was eventually in the back as the referee reached ten.
|
Miz was soon conscious and realized what Batista did. He too was confused, but didn't seem to care. He just took his title and celebrated. The WWE Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Wade Barrett are shown making their way to the ring. Barrett is in singles action next. Commercial BreakBatista was shown walking around backstage when Josh Mathews caught up with him, asking the animal why he walked out on his match with The Miz? Batista said that he remembered what his purpose is at No Mercy, and that is to pin John Cena. A recap is shown from last week, showing Tyson Kidd being loaded onto a stretcher after Wade Barrett's attack on him. The WWE Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Wade Barrett walked out onto the stage to a chorus of boos. At this time, Wade Barrett was supposed to be in singles competition. However, DH Smith came from behind them with a steel chair in his hands. He nailed Sheamus in the back with it and got Barrett in the gut. Smith continued his assault until officials came out to restrain him. Smith then took a microphone. He said that because of Barrett, Tyson is watching this right now from a hospital bed. He doesn't know when he will be out, and he doesn't know if he will be able to continue wrestling. So he wants revenge. Smith then challenged Barrett to a match at No Mercy. Ted DiBiase and Ezekiel Jackson were shown in their locker room. Jackson appeared to be delivering some new to DiBiase. We were only able to hear DiBiase wish Jackson good luck as the two of them shook hands. Commercial BreakA recap is shown of what just transpired with DH Smith and Wade Barrett and Sheamus. Josh Mathews now got a word with Ted DiBiase. Mathews asked him what Jackson told him? DiBiase said that most likely, we will find out at No Mercy. Soon, Chris Jericho barged into the room and attacked DiBiase. Jericho and DiBiase brawled until officials came in to separate them. A recap from SmackDown is shown. It focuses on the Rey Mysterio/CM Punk main event, which saw Rey capture the World Heavyweight Championship, only for Cody Rhodes to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase and win the World Heavyweight Championship.Commercial BreakTed DiBiase is shown in his locker room again. Officials are asking him if he's ok, which he angrily responds yes. When he turns around, he is met by World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes, who is holding his Money In The Bank briefcase. Rhodes says "I remember when I had one of these. Now I have this", he said as he showed Ted the World Title. DiBiase said that it doesn't matter if Rhodes is champion now. He too will soon be a champion. Rhodes then said "I guess we'll soon find out who was the real star in Legacy." Triple Threat Match John Morrison def. R Truth and Drew McIntyreThis was a triple threat match involving three of the four men who will compete for the United States Championship this Sunday at No Mercy. The champion Evan Bourne was on commentary for this match. All three men really gave this match their all and put on a great match. In the end, Morrison hit Starship Pain on McIntyre to get the win. |
Following the match, Morrison signaled that the United States Championship will be his at No Mercy. Bourne held the title high in the air, telling Morrison that if he wants it, then take it. Randy Orton and John Cena are shown on split screen making their way to the ring. The main event is up next. Commercial BreakSingles Match Randy Orton and John Cena fought to a No Contest
This main event didn't have the best wrestling involved in it, but it certainly captured the attention of the WWE Universe as Raw's two top faces went at it. Everybody also kept in mind that this could very well be one of these two men's last match on Raw. In the end, Cena had Orton on his shoulders and was ready to drop him with an Attitude Adjustment. Orton's foot accidentally caught the referee in the side of the head though. When Cena dropped Orton, the maneuver was countered into an RKO. As both men were getting to their feet, Batista and The Miz attacked them. |

Batista and The Miz continued their assault until Cena and Orton were layed out. The two heels then raised each other's hands. Suddenly, Miz leveled Batista in the head with the WWE Championship belt. Tonight, all of these men showed that they cannot trust each other this Sunday at No Mercy, and somebody will be leaving Raw. The Miz stood over his two opponents and his partner as Raw went off the air.

Thursday Night SmackDown | September 30, 2010 "The Dashing Rule"
A video package is shown recapping the events that took place last week which saw Cody Rhodes cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase and become the new World Heavyweight Champion. After that package is finished, Teddy Long comes down to the ring. He welcomes everybody to the return of Thursday Night SmackDown. He says that sometime later tonight, we will hear from the new World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes. He then says that somebody has a very important announcement to make. Soon, the Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio makes his way down to the ring. He first thanks Teddy for giving him time to make his announcement. Rey says that last week, he won the World Heavyweight Championship. It was his first time winning that title since Wrestlemania 22. It was the greatest feeling in the entire world. It was cut short though by Cody Rhodes, the new champion. Rey says that he was given two options for No Mercy. He could use his rematch clause and face Rhodes for the championship. However, Bryan Danielson won a shot at his Intercontinental Title for No Mercy. He was given a little less than a week to make his decision. He will pull off double duty at No Mercy and compete in both matches. He will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Bryan Danielson and face Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Title this Sunday at No Mercy. Teddy Long tells everybody to give it up for Rey Mysterio and to enjoy tonight's show. Commercial BreakCM Punk is shown in his locker room. He is screaming with anger at the fact that Rey Mysterio gets to use his rematch clause at No Mercy. Punk says that he was champion longer than Rey. Serena then says that Punk's reign was only five days. Punk looks at Serena as if he is about to explode. He says that he doesn't have time for any of her smart comments. He has to focus on Christian at No Mercy. Street Fight MVP def. Shad GaspardA very solid match to open SmackDown's return to Thursday nights. These two have had a heated rivalry over the past few weeks. It all comes to a head in this match. The match seemed to have gone everywhere. Montel and Shad started in the ring, but soon spilled into the audience, then into the backstage area, and soon the merchandise areas. It was there that Gaspard took an MVP shirt from the stand and choked MVP with it. MVP was able to regain his momentum by throwing a cooler at Gaspard's head. While Gaspard was getting to his feet, MVP hit him with a Drive By to get the win. |
MVP went back to the ring to pose for the fans. He has finally shook Shad off of his shoulders and can now focus on bigger and better things on Thursday Night SmackDown. A limo is shown pulling up in the parking lot. The paparazzi runs towards the limo. The driver soon gets out and says that Mr. Rhodes doesn't want any members of the press surrounding his vehicle. Commercial BreakA promo is shown for No Mercy, live this Sunday. Singles MatchJustin Gabriel def. Luke GallowsA solid contest here. The crowd was really behind Gabriel for this one. Gallows needed a win here to impress Vince McMahon as he will be one of his six representers this Sunday at No Mercy in the Corporate Gauntlet. In the end, Gabriel was able to hit the 450 Splash on Gallows to get the victory. |
the Raw Rebound is shown now. It recaps the events that took place at the end of the show with The Miz, John Cena, Batista, and Randy Orton. After the video was finished, the announcers reminded us that next week, one of those four men will be coming over to SmackDown. Commercial BreakThe new World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes now made his way down to the ring. The crowd gave him a ton of heat. It was really hard to hear him at first due to that heat. He said that even though nobody wanted to see it, he is the new World Heavyweight Champion. And even though people say that he took advantage of Rey Mysterio, he is still the new World Heavyweight Champion. Basically, he doesn't care for what people have to say. Rhodes then says that with him as champion, things are going to change regarding title shots. There's a new rule on SmackDown known as "The Dashing Rule". That rule states that once you've had a title match with him, that's your only one. No rematches, no complaining. You will have to wait until he loses the title. Rhodes then says that if you wait for him to lose the title, you're going to be waiting for a very long time. Soon, Rey Mysterio comes out. He says that the "Dashing Rule" is fine because he only needs one chance to take the title back. Rhodes says that Rey can't go into this match over confident, because he's just going to be disappointed with the result. Rey says that Rhodes' is going to be disappointed with the length of his title reign, because it will all be over at No Mercy, which will equal a 9 day reign. Soon, Bryan Danielson attacks Rey from behind. Danielson throws Rey into the ring, where Rhodes plants him with Cross Rhodes. Danielson then locks Rey in the LeBell Lock. Rhodes yells at Rey, telling him that he has no chance at No Mercy. Danielson soon lets go of Rey. Rhodes leaves the ring as Danielson holds the Intercontinental Title high in the air over Rey's body. Commercial BreakSingles Match David Otunga def. JTG
A decent match. The purpose was to once again get Otunga over. He isn't the best in the ring, but he has that powerhouse look that the WWE seems to like, which will most likely result in his push. In the end, Otunga dropped JTG with The Verdict to get the victory |
.

A graphic is shown for tonight's main event. Christian, Kane, and The Undertaker vs. CM Punk, Jack Swagger, and Michael McGillicuty. Commercial BreakA promo is shown for No Mercy. Non Title Match Women's Champion Serena def. Tiffany
A rather average diva's match here. Serena had a good showing here, but Tiffany definitely brought the match down. If anything, this match showed why Tiffany should not be the next contender for the Women's championship. In the end, Serena dropped Tiffany with a Gut Buster to pick up the victory. |

Vince McMahon was shown in his office giving Jack Swagger and Michael McGillicuty a pep talk for their match next. He says that they are the future of SmackDown and they need to show the world why. Commercial BreakSix Man Tag Christian, The Undertaker, and Kane def. CM Punk, Jack Swagger, and Michael McGillicuty
A great six man tag main event to end SmackDown. This match gave everybody a taste of what they can expect at No Mercy. Christian and Punk put on an amazing showing here and most likely persuaded some fans to order No Mercy just to see their rematch, which is sure to be just as good as their Night Of Champions encounter. Undertaker and Kane showed Swagger and McGillicuty that they better put up a good fight if they want to protect Vince McMahon. In the end, Undertaker dropped swagger with a Tombstone to get the victory for his team. |

Following the match, Christian chased Punk all the way to the backstage area. The Brothers Of Destruction stayed in the ring and posed for the fans and also to send a message to the Corporate Society. No Mercy is live this Sunday.

A video package opens tonight's show recapping the feuds between The Miz/Orton/Cena/Batista, Mysterio/Rhodes, Jericho/DiBiase, and The Brothers Of Destruction/Corporate Society as these are the main feuds heading into tonight's huge event. After the video is finished, a huge pyrotechnics display blasts. Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Michael Cole welcome us to No Mercy. The quickly run down the card before the opening contest begins. Intercontinental ChampionshipRey Mysterio (c) vs. Bryan Danielson
Rey Mysterio came down to the ring first to a great ovation. This is his first of two matches tonight. That's right ladies and gentleman. Rey will be competing in two matches tonight. Bryan Danielson was out next to some great heat. After the bell rang, Danielson quickly took Rey down to the mat. He attempted to lock the LeBell Lock early in the match, but Rey was able to fight out of it. Danielson attempted to kick Rey's head off, but Rey moved out of the way. Rey then rolled Danielson up and was able to get a two count. Rey backed up into a corner as Danielson charged at him. Rey was able to get a leg up and push Danielson away from him. Rey ascended to the top the top rope and came down on Danielson with a moonsault. Rey got the cover, but only a two count once again. Rey waited for Danielson to get on his knees. Rey attempted to hit a Shining Wizard on Danielson, but was unsuccessful at doing so. Danielson was then able to hit a German Suplex on Rey. Danielson was only able to get a two count. While Danielson was picking Rey up, he was able to roll Danielson up in a small package. Once again, only a two count. Danielson was now fed up with Rey's numerous pin attempts. He tossed Rey to the outside. Danielson then dived through the ropes and onto Rey. Danielson then tossed Rey over the announce table. The referee was now at a count of 6. Danielson quickly threw Rey back into the ring before entering the ring himself. Danielson then placed Rey on the top turnbuckle. Danielson was going for a superplex. However, Rey was able to reverse it into a spinning DDT. Rey then went back to the top rope. Danielson was getting to his feet now at this time. Rey went for a crossbody, but Danielson was able to dropkick Rey while he was in mid air. Danielson brought Rey closer to him and began to hit Rey with some vicious elbows. The referee was threatening to disqualify Bryan if he stop. Danielson soon did stop. Rey then hit some quick kicks onto Danielson's leg. Danielson was soon on one knee and Rey was able to hit the Shining Wizard on him. Danielson found himself in position for the 619. Danielson was able to catch Rey's legs before they connected with his face. Danielson locked Rey in a Boston Crab. Rey was able to reach the ropes after a long struggle. Danielson brought Rey back to his feet and lifted him up for a powerbomb. Rey was able to reverse it though and throw Danielson back into position for the 619. Rey hit it this time and also hit his follow up splash to get the win and retain his title. Winner: Still Intercontinental Champion, Rey Mysterio (13:32)Rey celebrated his win following the match. He still has another match tonight against Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Championship. While he was making his way up the ramp, Danielson attacked him from behind. Danielson dropped Rey with a Northern Lights Suplex on the steel ramp. He was looking to lock Rey in the LeBell Lock, but officials quickly came to Rey's aid and forced Danielson to leave. Randy Orton was shown in his locker room when a mail man walked in. He said that Orton had a special delivery from The Miz. Orton opened the package and found a Smackdown! shirt. Orton told the man to give it back to The Miz because he's going to need it more than him. Grudge MatchDH Smith vs. Wade Barrett
One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Wade Barrett came down to the ring first with his partner, Sheamus. The referee told Sheamus that he had to go to the back. Sheamus threw a fit at ringside, but soon went to the back. DH Smith ran to the ring as he could not wait to get his hands on Wade Barrett. Smith and Barrett got into a fist fight. Barrett was able to win in that battle. Smith then took Barrett down to the ground and started pounding on the NXT Season 1 winner. The referee was forced to pull Smith off of Barrett. While Barrett was getting to his feet, Barrett hit him with a big boot, the same move that took out Tyson Kidd. It did take a while for Smith to get to his feet, but he did. Barrett hoisted Smith to his shoulders and was going to drop him with the Wasteland. Smith slid off of Barrett's shoulders though. when Barrett turned around, Smith took him down to the mat and locked on the Sharpshooter. Barrett struggled to reach the ropes, but he did. Smith charged at Barrett, who was able to move out of the way. When Smith turned around, he found himself in position for the Wasteland. Barrett dropped him to the mat and got the cover to get the win.
Winner: Wade Barrett (7:04)
Following the match, Sheamus came back out to the ring to celebrate with Barrett. After Smith got back to his feet, Sheamus nailed him with a Pump Kick. Smith seemed to be out cold and looked much like how Tyson Kidd looked when he was put out of action. Sheamus and Barrett sported evil grins as they made their way up the entrance ramp. Rey Mysterio is shown in the trainer's room. The trainer says that he probably shouldn't wrestle again tonight, but Rey says that he can't quit and he's going to face Cody Rhodes. A video package is shown recapping the feud between Ted DiBiase and Chris Jericho that has been brewing for the past two months. Money In The Bank Ladder MatchTed DiBiase (c) vs. Chris Jericho
A shot of the briefcase hanging high above the ring was shown before the match began. Chris Jericho then made his entrance to a huge ovation from the audience here in Dallas. Ted DiBiase came out next to a ton of heat. After the bell rang, Dibiase ran to the outside of the ring in an attempt to get a ladder. Jericho followed him though and the two got into a brawl on the outside. DiBiase kicked Jericho in the mid section and threw him into the steel steps. It's clear that DiBiase does not want this match to go on long. He just wants to get his briefcase and get out. DiBiase set the ladder up. As he was about to climb it, Jericho got back in the ring and pulled him off. DiBiase swung at Jericho, who moved out of the way. When DiBiase turned around, he was met with a Codebreaker. Jericho climbed the ladder and had his hands on the briefcase, but DiBiase was able to get back to his feet and tip the ladder over. DiBiase placed the ladder flat on the mat. He locked Jericho in the Million Dollar Dream. Jericho seemed to be fading away. When DiBiase lifted Jericho, he went behind Ted and locked him n the Million Dollar Dream. the tables were now turned as DiBiase was fading away. Jericho then dropped DiBiase with Dream Street onto the ladder. Jericho set the ladder up and began to climb it. He noticed that DiBiase was getting to his feet. He quickly tried to get the briefcase, but he had trouble unhooking it. DiBiase climbed up the other side of the ladder. The two started trading blows at the top of the ladder. Jericho was able to hit a sunset flip and powerbomb DiBiase off the ladder. Jericho threw DiBiase out of the ring. Jericho went to the outside too and brought out another ladder from underneath the ring. Jericho set the ladder up and placed DiBiase on the announce table. DiBiase would not stay on the table, which prompted Jericho to take the ring bell and level him in the head with it. Jericho climbed the ladder and came down on DiBiase with an elbow drop. The crowd went crazy as officials came down to make sure that Jericho and DiBiase were okay. Jericho got to hit feet first. He dragged DiBiase away from the shattered pieces of the announce table and locked him in the Walls Of Jericho. DiBiase was tapping, but that didn't matter in this match. Jericho took the ladder and threw it on top of DiBiase. He went back in the ring and was getting ready to climb the ladder. However, Vladimir Kozlov came down to the ring and attacked Jericho. It appears that Kozlov is now DiBiase's 'virgil'. Kozlov dropped Jericho with the Ura-nage. Kozlov went outside and brought DiBiase back into the ring. Kozlov noticed that Jericho was getting back to his feet, so he brought a chair into the ring and was fully prepared to take Y2J. Jericho kicked Kozlov in the mid section and took the chair from him. Jericho nailed Kozlov in the skull with the chair before nailing DiBiase in the back. Jericho went to the outside and found a table underneath the ring. He brought it into the ring and set it up to where DiBiase would land on it. Jericho climbed on the other side of the ladder and began to hit Ted with some heavy rights. DiBiase held onto anything that he could, as he would connect with the table if he fell. Jericho swung at DiBiase one more time. Ted was able to duck it and elbow Jericho in the gut. DiBiase was then able to throw Jericho over his head. Jericho crashed onto the table. DiBiase was able to pull down the briefcase.
Winner: Still the briefcase holder, Ted DiBiase (21:32)
DiBiase celebrated at the top of the ladder with his briefcase. He retains it and can no longer be forced to defend it. A promo for Bragging Rights is shown, promoting the Raw vs. SmackDown concept. Matt Striker came out to the stage as he is now ready to give his big announcement. He said that NXT was a great show, but it's now over. With the Tuesday night slot being open, he went to the board of directors and threw them an idea - resurrecting ECW. The board gave it some thought, but they soon decided to do it. With that begin said, ECW will be returning on Tuesday October 12th. Since it was his idea, the board named him General Manager. They also told him that he is in charge of forming the roster. So tomorrow night on Raw and Thursday night on SmackDown, there will a mini draft. 5 men from both brands will be drafted to ECW. We will also see some former NXT rookies. And also, 3 brand new faces. Striker then said that he has one more announcement to make regarding ECW. The first draft pick - the ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson. Jackson comes out to the stage with the ECW title draped over his shoulder. He holds it high in the air after shaking Striker's hand. Grudge MatchCM Punk vs. Christian
Christian came to the ring first to a great ovation from the Dallas crowd. CM Punk was out next to the opposite of that. The match itself was great, although many may say that there Night Of Champions encounter was just a bit better. Both Punk and Christian still put on an incredible match. Christian planted Punk with a Killswitch and pretty much had the win, but Luke Gallows pulled the referee out of the ring. The referee then ordered the SES to go to the back. After a huge fit, they did. Punk then hit a Yakuza Kick on Christian, followed by a Springboard Clothesline. Punk then yells that it's over before hoisting Christian to his shoulders for the Go To Sleep. Christian slid off of his shoulders and rolled him up. Punk was able to kick out. Punk then dropped Christian with a scoop slam. Punk locked Christian in the Anaconda Vice. Christian had a hard time reach the ropes, but he soon did. Punk waited for Christian to get up before going for a clothesline. Christian moved out of the way, causing Punk to hit the referee. With no official, The SES came back out to the ring and attacked Christian. It was a 3 on 1 situation and it seemed as if Christian no longer had a chance to win. However, a masked man came down to the ring with a chair and took out Gallows and Mercury. Punk and the masked man stared at each other. They seemed to be around the same height. Punk was yelling at the masked man, asking him who he was. There was no response though. Christian then surprised Punk by grabbing his arms and putting him into position for the Killswitch. Christian engaged it and covered Punk. The referee slowly made the count.
Winner: Christian (11:48)
Christian celebrated his win with the WWE Universe. Punk was soon back to his feet and screamed in anger. The masked man was shown standing on top of the titantron, which was at least 50 ft. high. There were two clues about the Masked Man's identity given tonight - he is around the same height as Punk and is not afraid of heights. A video package was shown recapping the feud between Triple H and Booker T. It starts off with SummerSlam, which was where Booker T made his return. It then shows the events that have been taking place with the four of them over the past few weeks. Grudge MatchBooker T vs. Triple H
Booker came to the ring first to a good amount of heat. Triple H was out next to a great ovation. This was a decent match. Triple H dominated most of the match, although Booker did have his moments where he was the one on top. Triple H was going for a Pedigree when Booker tossed him over his head and onto the outside. Booker went to the outside and hit a big kick onto Triple H. Booker threw him back in the ring. Booker went for this Scissors Kick, but Triple H was able to move out of the way and hit the Pedigree. It took a while for Triple H to get the cover, but he did. However, Booker was able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Triple H was now more than pissed off. He attempted to hit another Pedigree, but Booker was able to throw him over his head once again, this time in the ring. While Triple H was getting to his feet, Booker hit the Scissors Kick. Booker instantly got the cover, but Triple H got his foot on the bottom rope. The tables were turned, which was very unfortunate for Booker. He waited for Triple H to get back up to his feet. Booker went for the Scissors Kick one more time, but missed it. Triple H then put Booker into position for the Pedigree. However, Booker was able to twist his way out of it and drop Triple H with the Book End. Booker got the cover to get the win.
Winner: Booker T (8:11)
Booker celebrated his win while boos were thrown at him from the WWE Universe. He kept on saying that he is the best. Booker then took a mic and said that he has a message. He doesn't care who wins the main event, he's coming for the WWE Championship. A video package is shown recapping the feud between the Brothers Of Destruction and the Corporate Society. It starts with Vince McMahon screwing The Undertaker out of the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam and then doing the same to Kane on SmackDown!. It then shows the formation of the Corporate Society and the events that have been taking place over the past few weeks. Corporate GauntletThe Undertaker and Kane vs. The Corporate Society
Round 1
The Undertaker and Kane vs. Luke Gallows and Joey MercuryTaker and Gallows started things off here. Taker completely dominated him. Soon, tags were made. Mercury really didn't stand a chance against Kane. Kane chokeslammed Mercury, but Gallows pulled his partner out of the ring. Taker then came behind Gallows and chokeslammed him onto the floor. Taker tossed Mercury back inside the ring and allowed Kane to finish him off. Kane delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to Mercury, making it past round 1.
Winners: The Undertaker and Kane (4:07)
Round 2 The Undertaker and Kane vs. The Dudebusters
The Dudebusters rushed into the ring and went right after Kane. Taker got back in the ring, although Barreta and Croft just turned their attention to him. The referee was soon able to get everything under control. Barreta began to work on Kane and was even able to get the Big Red Monster down onto the mat. That didn't last long though as Kane just at back up and tagged in Taker. Barreta tagged in Croft, who was instantly given a big boot from Taker. With Kane down, Taker had to go the rest of the match on his own, which turned out to be very easy for the Deadman. Taker delivered a double Chokeslam to The Dudebusters and pinned both of them simultaneously to get past round 2.
Winners: The Undertaker and Kane (5:53)
Round 3 The Undertaker and Kane vs. Jack Swagger and Michael McGillicuty
Definitely the toughest challenge for Taker and Kane. Swagger and McGillicuty put up a much better fight than their predecessors. Swagger took Taker down to the mat and kept him their for a while. Swagger made the tag to McGillicuty, who instantly hit Taker with a Swinging Neckbreaker. He got the cover, but Taker was able to kick out. McGillicuty was going to hit Taker with a clothesline, but Taker was able to grab him. Taker then hit him with Snake Eyes followed by a Big Boot. Taker tagged in Kane, who was able to chokeslam McGillicuty. The tag was soon made to Swagger who was actually able to keep Kane compromised in a Bear Hug. Kane was able to get out by raking Swagger's eyes. Kane made the tag to Taker. He went for a Tombstone Piledriver, but Swagger was able to slide off his shoulders and throw Taker over his head. While Taker was down, Swagger grabs his legs in an attempt to stomp on Taker's mid section. It backfired though as Taker was able to lock Swagger in Hell's Gate. Swagger quickly tapped.
Winners: The Undertaker and Kane (9:36)
Round 4 The Undertaker and Kane vs. Vince McMahon
McMahon's worst nightmare came true. He never expected Taker and Kane to make it past the other Corporate Society members. Vince wasn't even ready as he came to the ring in a suit. You could see the fear in his eyes as he stood in the ring with the Brothers Of Destruction. After the bell rang, Taker and Kane just stared at Vince. Taker began to make his way towards the chairman. However, Kane turned Taker around and lifted him up for a Tombstone. Kane dropped Taker as Vince and the WWE Universe looked on in shock. Kane has turned on The Undertaker. Vince then covered Taker as Kane looked on.
Winner: Vince McMahon (0:28)
Kane smiled as Vince celebrated. The two soon shook hands, officially making Kane the newest member of the Corporate Society. A Don't Try This at Home advertisement is shown. United States ChampionshipEvan Bourne (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. R Truth vs. John Morrison
After the bell rang, all hell broke loose. Morrison threw Truth onto the outside and then came down onto him with an amazing springboard somersault. Bourne kneed McIntyre in the jaw, which gave him time to dive through the ropes and onto Morrison and Truth. McIntyre went to the outside and tossed Truth over the announce table. Bourne tripped McIntyre though. While McIntyre was getting to his feet, Morrison hit the Flying Chuck onto him. Morrison and Bourne went back into the ring to begin their friendly battle. The two of them put on a great showing, but was cut short by Truth. Bourne and Morrison then doubled teamed on Truth, taking turns delivering some knife edge chops onto him. McIntyre came back into the ring and hit a big boot onto Bourne. McIntyre pulled Morrison by his hair and threw him down onto the ground. McIntyre began stomping on Morrison. Truth soon rolled him up and nearly got th three count, but Bourne was able to save his title. McIntyre got back to his feet, but Bourne quickly rolled him up. Morrison broke it up. Truth then hit a superkick onto Morrison, taking him out for a moment. when Truth turned around, McIntyre kicked him in the mid section and planted him with the Future Shock. McIntyre attempted to do the same to Bourne, but Morrison hit a Flying Chuck, kicking him in the back of the head. Morrison then planted Bourne with the Moonlight Drive. Morrison moved Bourne closer to the turnbuckle and had the intentions of hitting Starship Pain. Bourne moved out of the way and ascended to the top rope. Bourne came down on Morrison with Airbourne to get the win.
Winner: Still United States Champion, Evan Bourne (7:17)
Bourne celebrated with his title following the match. Morrison soon gets back to his feet and shakes Bourne's hand. Christian is shown about to leave the arena when he sees the Masked Man who attacked the Straight Edge Society. Christian asks him who he is. The Masked Man hands Christian a note. Christian reads the note and then looks back up, only to see that the man left. Christian then says "Yeah. That's just like you." SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long then approaches Christian. Teddy says that in three weeks, Bragging Rights will be live on PPV. Teddy says that he wants Christian to captain team SmackDown. Christian says that with Captain Charisma captaining the team, there's no way SmackDown will lose. World Heavyweight ChampionshipCody Rhodes (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
This was Rey's second match of the night. You could tell that he was still feeling the affects of his match earlier in the night with Bryan Danielson. Rhodes took advantage of this and immediately went after Rey's back, which was dropped onto the steel entrance ramp by Bryan Danielson. We're sure that at this point, Rey regretted making the decision to wrestle two matches tonight. Rhodes threw Rey back first into the turnbuckle. He then stood on the second rope and began striking on Rey. Rhodes got down and threw Rey down onto the ground. Rhodes then hit dropped his knee onto Rey's face. Rhodes seemed over confident here, but he was still completely dominating Rey. Rhodes took a microphone and said that Rey really screwed himself here. Because of the Dashing Rule this is Rey's only title match. He could've been smart and chose to have it at a later date when he was 100%. But he chose to have it on a night where he was wrestling two matches. Rhodes continued to tell Rey that he is nothing. Soon, Rey rolled Rhodes up into s mall package. Rhodes was able to kick out, but he was furious at this point. He threw the microphone down and planted Rey with a DDT. Rhodes then put Rey into position for Cross Rhodes. He dropped Rey with it and covered him to get the win.
Winner: Still World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes (6:27)
Rhodes celebrated his win, despite it being a rather easy one. The referee and some more officials checked on Rey as Rhodes made his way back up the entrance ramp. A video package is shown for the main event. It starts off with John Cena delivering an Attitude Adjustment onto Batista at Money In The Bank, which is what caused him to miss two months of action. It then shows Batista's return at Night Of Champions, along with the Miz winning the WWE Championship on Raw 900. It then show the events that have taken place the past two weeks between the four competitors. WWE Championship ~ Loser Leaves RawThe Miz (c) & Batista vs. John Cena & Randy Orton
John Cena came to the ring first to a great ovation, but Orton received an even bigger one from the audience here in Dallas. Batista came out next to a shower of boos, with The Miz receiving a mixed reaction. The fact that the loser would be forced to leave Raw made this match a bit more tense. Orton and Miz started things off. The two of them put on a decent showing. Orton went for an RKO, but Miz was able to push him away. Miz made the tag to Batista, who took out Orton with a clothesline. Batista then taunted Cena, telling him to come inside the ring. Cena just simply told Batista that he can't see him. Orton then rolled up Batista, but only got a two count. It looked as if Cena was going to break it up, which prompted Orton to yell at Cena. Miz was telling Batista to tag him in. Batista was going to tag him in, but then told Miz to kiss his ass. It was now very clear that neither team was on the same page. When Batista turned around, Orton planted him with an RKO. He went for the cover, but Miz broke it up. Cena went into the ring to get Miz back in his corner. Orton thought that Cena was in the ring to break up his pin attempt, which caused even more tension between the two of them. Miz was begging Batista for a tag, but Batista was fully against tagging in his partner. Orton then dropkicked Batista, pushing him all the way into the corner. Miz then made the blind tag to Batista. Cena then made the blind tag to Orton. Miz and Cena had a solid showing.Cena soon had Miz locked in the STF. Orton broke it up however. Cena and Orton then got into a verbal argument face to face. Miz got back to his feet, only to be speared by Batista. Batista dragged Miz back to their corner and waited for him to get to his feet. When Miz got back to his feet, Batista tagged himself in. When Batista got into the ring, Miz low blowed him. Cena then hoisted Batista to his shoulders and dropped him with an Attitude Adjustment. Orton then entered the ring and RKO'd Cena. Miz then planted Orton with Skull Crushing Finale. Miz covered Cena, but the referee told Miz that he's not the legal man. There was nothing that Miz could do. He had to wait until Batista was back to his feet to make the tag to him. Orton was eventually back in his corner. Batista and Cena were back to their feet and began trading blows. Batista irish whipped Cena into his corner, but would not go anywhere near Miz. Batista then dropped Batista with a Spinebuster. He had the match won, but both Orton and Miz broke it up. Miz then noticed that Batista was getting back in their corner. Miz quickly went back and tagged himself in. Miz then attacked Cena. Miz went for a cover, which Orton and Batista broke up. Orton was able to plant Batista with an RKO. Miz low blowed Orton. When Miz turned around, Cena hoisted him to his shoulders. Miz was able to slide off though and plant Cena with the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz got the cover to get the win.
Winners: Still WWE Champion The Miz & Batista (Leaving Raw - John Cena )
Miz celebrated his win as he has now ridden Raw of John Cena. Batista and Orton both were furious at the result of this match. While Miz was making his way up the ramp, Cena got back up to his feet and realized that he must now leave Raw. Miz holding the WWE Title high in the air was the last image shown as No Mercy went off the air.

WWE No Mercy: Sunday 3rd October 2010...I haven't often replied to anybody outside of the cylinder of 2010s from Kev or AJ, so this looks new to me. You definitely have the graphics for pay-per-view posters down, kudos on that, but the match graphics look awful, Daniel Bryan [minus points for calling him Bryan Danielson] looks like a fat fifth grader. Not sure why Rey is once again WWE Intercontinental Champion as he should be aiming higher at this point in his career; the final stretch I consider. Good way to kick off though, the match length was alright but like I mentioned; Rey is treading water and repeating what he's already done plenty of times, that's put on a great title defense to make a younger superstar look good in the opener of a pay-per-view. It's old. The match with Wade Barrett and David Hart Smith did not intrigue me in any way. Did you avoid Nexus or not go for Nexus? It seemed like an Attitude Era like idea for the WWE Tag Team Championships not to be defended, instead in a singles match; I do like the storyline of Tyson Kidd having been sidelined by Barrett though. Sheamus has fallen too far, though. Yep, Ted Dibiase and Chris Jericho have the intellectually- disabled fat fifth grader look. Great Money in the Bank briefcase defense by Ted Dibiase, but he really doesn't appeal too much to me as much as his Legacy co-worker, Cody Rhodes. Great match, could have done without Vladimir Kozlov though. Chris Jericho would have been more deserving of the briefcase, but nevermind. Match went a little too long for me, and the ladder stipulation indicates TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs won't be happening. ECW returning is a dire decision to make, honestly. If you want a third brand, have it be original. Vince McMahon killed ECW once and for all last February. NXT is a great concept and should not be dropped whatsoever. Christian and CM Punk had a good match, not too bad at all and Christian winning is alright I suppose; it's too late for him to be a convincing World Heavyweight Champion though. We did not need another Triple H and Booker T match after SummerSlam 2007. Fact. In fact, we didn't even need Booker returning. Booker with the win is acceptable yet unrealistic. Could care less. The idea of the Corporate Society is intriguing, but it's just SmackDown undercard tag team divisions, an NXT rookie and Jack Swagger against The Undertaker and Kane; it was obvious that they would destroy Luke Gallows and Joseph Mercury, The Dudebusters, and Jack Swagger and Michael McGillicutty. It took them too long to defeat Dudebusters, too. Also, the idea of a handicap match with the Brothers of Destruction against Vince McMahon makes it predictable to every living person in the building that we would see Kane turn. Lacklustre outcome here. Evan Bourne beating R-Truth, John Morrison and Drew McIntyre to retain the WWE United States Championship is good, but these three men with every potential in the company and R-Truth have just had a forgettable match; it's the least interesting thing on the card to a casual viewer. You need to push these four further; get Booker T and guys that don't belong out so these four midcarders can breathe in the uppercard stream. Cody Rhodes as World Heavyweight Champion intrigues me, but in my mind he just wouldn't be a good draw as champ just yet. Good win for Cody against Rey Mysterio, but pointless for Rey after beating Bryan earlier to come back. You should have just left Rey and Bryan's match off the card, bland booking. Lastly, it's a great mesh with The Miz and Batista facing John Cena and Randy Orton in a match for both the WWE Champion AND Loser Leaves RAW on the line. At the same time, it's like all of those times where a title could change hands in a tag team match. Confusingly irritable. Miz retaining the WWE Championship is alright, but you have two weak toplining champions. John Cena leaving RAW is every internet smark's fanboy dream, it's bad unless you're making him a hot topic on SmackDown.
Overall, your booking reminds me of a WWF in late 1998; you had great ideas with some storylines and you manage to remind me of the Attitude Era in a good way at times, but in more places it's all gimmicky, unneeded, clustered and bland or unattractive, like Vince Russo is booking. I will keep reading, however, at least you've made it to this point to make it your own, but you need to keep this stable.

-Rey Mysterio winning over Daniel Bryan was expected considering he most likely won't win the WHC tonight. -Both men needed the victory. So Wade Barrett winning is fine by me. -Ted DiBiase is getting some great build for his MITB. Him over Jericho is great. -Christian over Punk was expected since he lost at NOC. Good job there. -Booker over HHH was great either way. Little weird it lasted 8 minutes though. -Kane turning on Undertaker was epic! I can't believe it. I love the gimmicky thing you put into this. Kane in the Corporate Society is good if he's a leader. -Bourne retaining was good considering he just won it. -Rhodes over Mysterio was expected since Mysterio had fought in the IC Title Match. A good start to Rhodes' build. -The Miz and Batista over Cena and Orton has it's sads and happys. Now, Cena can go Word Life on SD!. -Great PPV; I absolutely cannot wait to see what's next now.

Monday Night Raw | October 4, 2010 Bragging Rights Are Priceless
Tonight's show begins with a video recapping the Raw side of things from No Mercy, focusing on Chris Jericho and Ted DiBiase's Ladder Match, and the main event which resulted in The Miz retaining the WWE Championship and John Cena being forced to leave Raw. After the pyrotechnics display blasts, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Monday Night Raw. They inform us about tonight's huge main event. Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Triple H vs. Booker T with the winner facing The Miz for the WWE Championship at Bragging Rights. Also taking place tonight, 5 Raw superstars will be drafted to the newly resurrected ECW brand. Ted DiBiase comes down to the ring. He is still visibly feeling the affects of his ladder match last at No Mercy, which he came out on top of and is still Mr. Money In the Bank. DiBiase says that after he last night, he earned the right to brag about being the best superstar on Raw. Now, he has to lead Raw to Bragging Rights because he was told by Abraham Washington that he will be the captain of Team Raw. DiBiase then said that it is his duty to pick the rest of the team. So he will be evaluating tonight's matches carefully. He may even take the losers of the main event. Ted finished the prom off by saying that no matter what, there is no way that Team Smackdown will stand a chance at Bragging Rights. ECW General Manager Matt Striker was shown in the backstage area. He said that up next, we will have our first ECW draft pick. Commercial BreakMatt Striker was shown once again, this time on the stage. He said that right now, one Raw superstar will be heading to the land of extreme. The draft graphic played for a bit with all Raw superstars being shown. Soon, the first draft pick was revealed to be R Truth! Truth made his way out to the stage where Striker handed him an ECW shirt. Striker asked Truth how he feels about being the first ECW draft pick. Truth then said "Anything to keep me away from John Morrison." Striker then said that it's funny he overheard Abraham Washington say that the opening match tonight is him vs. Morrison. Truth was irate as he was forced to head to the ring. Singles MatchJohn Morrison def. R TruthDuring the match, the crowd began giving R Truth some "na na na na" chants. He didn't respond to these chants very nicely. This was a very good opening contest on Raw to finally put this feud to rest. Truth had some good offense, but in the end he was out away with Starship Pain. Morrison covered him to get the win.Morrison celebrated his win following the match. Truth was showered with 'na na na na' chants. He was soon fed up with it and grabbed a mic. He said that leaving Raw is the best thing that's happened to him because he doesn't have to put with any of the WWE Universe's crap anymore. He stormed up the ramp with a furious look on his face. WWE Champion The Miz was shown at walking towards the ring with a box in his hands. Commercial BreakMatt Striker was shown backstage once again. He said that the next ECW draft pick will be revealed right now. After the draft cycle stopped, Yoshi Tatsu was chosen as the next draft pick. Tatsu arrived on the scene where Striker gave him an ECW shirt. Tatsu thanked Matt. WWE Champion The Miz now made his way down to the ring. He was showered with boos as he is the reason that John Cena will no longer be seen on Raw. He took a mic and said that he does not feel sorry for any of the little kids who are crying because they're not going to see John Cena tonight. Miz said that the only reason he feels sorry for the fans is because they haven't learned to appreciate him. With John Cena off of Raw, he is the face of Monday night's. And he thinks that it's appropriate that we get rid of any traces of Cena on Raw. He then opens the box to reveal tons of John Cena merchandise. Miz then had a trash can brought in the ring. He dumped the entire box in the trash can. Miz then pulled matches and lighter fluid out of his pockets. Miz was fully prepared to set Cena's merchandise on fire. However, Randy Orton came down to the ring to stop Miz. Miz swung the WWE championship belt at Orton, who ducked and took Miz down to the ground. Orton hit Miz with his inverted backbreaker and was getting ready to plant him with and RKO. This was stopped by Booker T. Orton and Booker brawled until Triple H came down and brawled with Booker. Batista then joined and all hell broke loose. General Manager Abraham Washington appeared on the titantron and told the four superstars that if they really want to fight, then the #1 contenders match will take place now. Commercial Break#1 Contenders MatchRandy Orton def. Triple H, Booker T, and BatistaA little early here, but still considered to be the first hour main event. A solid contest that was very fast paced. The Miz stayed at ringside to watch. Booker and Triple H really got into it as Triple H still feels that they have unfinished business. Batista and Orton felt that they were the reason why neither of them walked out of No Mercy, so there was some tension there. In the end, Batista was planted with the RKO giving Orton the victory.Orton celebrated his win following the match. Miz entered the ring and charged at Orton with the title belt. However, Orton was able to simply drop Miz with an RKO. The awesome one was laid out as Orton held the WWE title high in the air. Abraham Washington in his office when Zack Ryder walked in. Ryder told Washington that he just saw Christian backstage. Washington said that he invited Christian. Ryder responded, asking Washington if he was serious. Washington said that he wants people to be excited for Bragging Rights, so tonight's main event will Ted DiBiase vs. Christian. Matt Striker was shown on the stage once again. He said that ECW will have it's third draft pick revealed right now. The draft cycle stopped to show the bizarre one, Goldust. Goldust takes his ECW shirt and shakes Striker's hand. Commercial BreakSingles Match Chris Jericho def. Sheamus
A solid match here. Jericho was coming off a of a loss against Ted DiBiase from No Mercy, so a win here was a must for him. It wasn't easy as The Celtic Warrior and one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. Wade Barrett provided commentary for this match, claiming that with the Hart Dynasty out of the equation, he and Sheamus will take on any challengers now. In the end, Jericho was able to hit the Codebreaker on Sheamus to get the win.Wade Barrett stormed the ring following the match and went right after Jericho. Sheamus was quickly back on his feet and joined Barrett. Barrett took a mic and said that if anybody wants to be a hero, be their guest. Soon, John Morrison hit the ring and helped Jericho in the fight against Barrett and Sheamus. Morrison and Jericho stood tall in the ring as Barrett and Sheamus looked on. Matt Striker was shown once again in the backstage area. It was now time for another ECW draft pick, which turned out to be Zack Ryder. Ryder said that ECW is about to get Zack'd once again. Woo Woo Woo You Know It. Striker then said that he has a very special surprise for the WWE Universe. Only former WWE Champions will be eligible to be the final draft pick. Commercial BreakTed DiBiase was shown in his locker room getting ready for his match with Christian when Vladimir Kozlov walked in. Kozlov said that he was there to collect his money. DiBiase gave him a handful of cash as Kozlov said that he's going to have fun tonight. Non Title Match Divas Champion Melina def. Jillian
An extremely short match here, lasting around 30 seconds. Jillian said that with Bragging Rights around the corner, she's going to sing Raw's victory song. She then proceeded to sing "We Are The Champions" by Queen. Melina then quickly rolled Jillian up to get the extremely easy win. Melina celebrated her victory following the match as Jillian was arguing with the referee, claiming that she wasn't ready. Abraham Washington then appeared on the titantron and said that he has some new for Melina. At Bragging Rights, she will be representing Raw when she faces the Women's Champion from SmackDown, Serena. The camera stayed on Abraham Washington in his office because the WWE tag Team Champions Sheamus and Wade Barrett walked in. Barrett asked Washington if he was going to do anything about what just happened to them. Washington said that he is going to do something about it. At Bragging Rights, they will defend the WWE Tag Titles against Chris Jericho and John Morrison. Sheamus and Barrett were irate as they didn't mean that they wanted a match against Jericho and Morrison. Matt Striker was shown on the stage as it was time to pick ECW's final draft pick. This time, only former WWE champions are eligible to be drafted. The draft cycle ran for a bit longer this time to build some excitement. The cycle soon stopped to reveal ECW's final and biggest draft pick of the night, Edge! The Rated R Superstar walked onto the stage and was handed an ECW shirt. Commercial BreakChristian was shown making his way to the ring when he was met by ECW's latest draft pick, Edge. The two stared at each other for a bit before Christian wished Edge luck on ECW and said that he'll have a great time there. The two shook hands and then went their own ways. Singles Match Christian def. Ted DiBiase via disqualification
A great main event here. Both DiBiase and Christian showed why they were chosen to be the leader of their brands' teams for Bragging Rights. DiBiase had Christian locked in the Million Dollar Dream towards the end. As Christian looked to be fading away, DiBiase lifted him in the air for Dream Street. Christian showed that he was playing possum as he slid behind DiBiase and dropped him with the Killswitch. Before Christian could get the cover, Drew McIntyre hit the ring and attacked Christian, causing the referee to ring the bell.McIntyre continued his assault on Christian as Dolph Ziggler and Mark Henry joined him. Batista soon came down and so did Triple H and Booker T, which was extremely odd as they are currently rivals. The fact that there were 7 men beating down on Christian made everybody realize what was going on. This is Team Raw. All 7 men hit their finishers on Christian and stood tall over him.

-Solid promo for Ted DiBiase to hype the whole Bragging Rights concept. Liking the idea of ECW returning. Sounds pretty cool. -Morrison over Truth was pretty good there. Truth to ECW sounds pretty cool. -Orton's promo hinted me that he'd be facing The Miz at Bragging Rights. Very good match too. -Jericho winning was needed after he lost last night at No Mercy to Ted DiBiase. -Melina over Hall was expected. Good squash. -Christian over Ted DiBiase is good either way. Thought that Ted would win considering his promo early on but this is getting some real unpredictability to it. And I like it too. -Good RAW; some nice advancement toward Bragging Rights. Looks great already.

Thursday Night SmackDown | October 8, 2010 "The Champ Is Here"
Tonight's show opens with a video recapping the SmackDown side of things from No Mercy, mainly focusing on Rey Mysterio's will to compete in two matches. For the first time in over 5 years, John Cena makes his way down to the ring as a member of the SmackDown roster. He takes a mic and says that even though he would like to be WWE Champion, he is happy to be back on SmackDown. He says that many things have changed since he left. Last time he was here, there was a tall man in a cowboy hat running things here as the top guy. Now, it's a man who is anything but Dashing. Cena says that he has two goals as a SmackDown superstar - continue to entertain the WWE Universe and become World Heavyweight Champion. Cena is soon interrupted by the current World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes. Rhodes says that Cena can't just come onto the show and claim that he is going to become the top guy. He has to earn that honor. Cena tells Rhodes that he can start off his career on SmackDown by having a match with the top guy, him. Rhodes says that he would be glad to show Cena what a true champion is. Rhodes leaves the ring as Cena stares him down. Vince McMahon is shown in his office with the Corporate Society watching the TV screen. Vince says that if there's one person whom he hates more than The Undertaker, it's John Cena. Vince says that he wants Cena to stay far away from the main event. Jack Swagger tells Vince that the Corporate Society can makes sure that doesn't happen. Commercial BreakJohn Cena was shown walking around backstage. Josh Mathews soon approached him and told him that before the commercial break, Mr. McMahon vowed to make sure that he stays far away from the SmackDown main event scene. Cena says that Vince doesn't scare him. Soon, The Dudebusters attacked Cena. Cena was able to get the better of them until Michael McGillicuty came and whacked Cena in the back with a chair. Cena stayed on the floor in pain. Matt Striker was shown on the stage and was ready for ECW to draft it's first SmackDown superstar of the night. The draft graphics cycled until it landed on Rey Mysterio! The Intercontinental Champion made his way out to the stage to a great ovation. Rey said he got his North America start on the original ECW, so he is proud to be on the new ECW. Teddy Long then came out and said that he has some unfortunate news for Rey. If he's going to be on ECW, he must vacate the Intercontinental Championship. Rey asks the WWE Universe if they feel that he has been a great champion. They all scream with cheers. Rey says that if the WWE Universe feels that he did his job, then he has no problem handing the title over. Teddy says that we will have a new champion crowned tonight. It will a be a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match. Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy vs. Justin Gabriel vs. MVP for the vacant Intercontinental Championship. Long then asks Rey if he wants one final match on SmackDown. Rey says yes and makes his way down to the ring. Singles Match Rey Mysterio def. CM Punk
A fantastic way to kick off SmackDown. The crowd was really into this match and rightfully so as it was an incredible match from start to finish. Punk had Rey on his shoulders for the Go To Sleep, but Rey was able to counter it into a hurricarana and throw Punk into position for the 619. Rey hit that and the follow up splash to get the win.Rey celebrated his win following the match and said goodbye to SmackDown as he looks ahead to his new home, ECW. Punk was soon screaming with anger as Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows came down to calm him down. However, the same Masked Man from No Mercy came down and attacked Mercury and Gallows with a steel chair. He swung it at Punk, who was able to dodge the shot and storm out of the ring. The Masked Man looked on at Punk. Commercial BreakThe Masked Man was shown walking around backstage looking for CM Punk, who was probably out of the arena by now. Josh Mathews approached him and asked him who he is. The Masked Man gave Josh a note card before taking off. Mathews looked at the card and said that he doesn't want to go to an Art Show. Matt Striker was shown backstage getting ready to make two draft picks for ECW. Those two picks turned out to be Chris Masters and JTG. Bragging Rights PreviewChristian def. Drew McIntyreThe captain of Team SmackDown was pitted against one of Team Raw's members. A solid match for the most part here. The crowd was 100% behind Captain Charisma. McIntyre got some good offense, but the match was mostly Christian's. In the end, Christian rolled McIntyre up for the win.Following the match, McIntyre took a mic and said that Christian got lucky tonight, and he wants him to come to Raw this Monday with the rest of his team. McIntyre then remembered something. Christian doesn't have a team yet. McIntyre laughed to himself for a bit. The laughter stopped when Big Show came down to the stage. Christian soon walked toward McIntyre, who was now trapped. Drew had his focus on Christian before he turned around and walked right into a Knockout Punch. Christian and Show stood over McIntyre and promised that they will be at Raw. A graphic for the Fatal Four Way match for the vacant Intercontinental Championship is shown as it is up next. Commercial BreakFatal Four Way Elimination for the vacant Intercontinental Championship Justin Gabriel def. Jack Swagger, MVP, and Matt Hardy to become the new champion.
A great first hour main event here to crown a new Intercontinental Champion. All four men gave this match there absolute all. The first elimination came when Jack Swagger dropped Matt Hardy with the Gutwrench Powerbomb and covered him to eliminate him. MVP was soon eliminated by Justin Gabriel's 450 Splash. The crowd really came alive when Swagger and Gabriel went at it as the final two. The end looked to be near for Gabriel after Swagger lifted his knees up while Gabriel was going for the 450 Splash. Swagger lifted Gabriel up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Gabriel slid off of his shoulders and kicked Swagger in the back of his left knee, causing Swagger to fall on that knee. Gabriel then hit a running Dropkick on Swagger before bringing him closer to the ropes. Gabriel hit the 450 Splash on Swagger to get the win and the championship.
Gabriel was ecstatic following the match. He held his newly won Intercontinental Title high in the air. The former Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio was shown in his locker applauding Gabriel. Commercial BreakJohn Cena was shown getting checked out in the Trainer's Room. The doctor said that if he wants to, he is allowed to compete tonight. Jack Swagger soon bursted into the room and let his frustrations out on Cena.Officials were forced to restrain Swagger. It looks like Vince McMahon's plan of keeping Cena out of the main event scene may be working. Non Title Match Women's Champion Serena def. Kelly Kelly
A non title rematch from Night Of Champions here. The point here was to give Serena some momentum for her match against Diva's Champion Melina at Bragging Rights. Serena dropped Kelly with a Gutbuster in the end to get the win. Following the match, Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows came out to celebrate with Serena, even though they were still feeling the affects of the Masked Man's attack on them earlier. Matt Striker was shown on the titantron and said that it is now time for ECW to draft another superstar. The SES was furious at the fact that Striker interrupted their celebration. It was soon revealed that ECW's latest draft pick is Joey Mercury. The SES was in shock. Mercury seemed heartbroken that he is now separated from his family. He had no choice but to head to the back and pick up his ECW shirt. Justin Gabriel was shown walking around backstage with the Intercontinental Championship on his shoulder. Many of the faces were congratulating, even two of his opponents in Matt Hardy and MVP. Teddy Long soon walked in and also congratulated him. Teddy than said that he just go off the phone with Abraham Washington. At Bragging Rights, Raw's United States Champion Evan Bourne will take on SmackDown's new Intercontinental Champion Justin Gabriel. The faces began chanting Gabriel's name Commercial BreakMatt Striker was shown on the stage and was getting ready for ECW to draft it's final superstar of the night. However, Rey Mysterio came down to the stage. He said that he would like the honor of handing ECW's final draft pick their shirt. Striker gave the shirt to Rey so he could hand it to the next draft pick. Bryan Danielson was revealed to be the final draft pick. Danielson walked onto the stage and immediately got in Rey's face. Rey tried to be the bigger man and make peace with Danielson, who responded by kicking Rey in the gut. Danielson then locked Rey in the LeBell Lock. Officials soon came out to restrain Danielson and tend to Rey. World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes was shown making his way to the ring. His match with John Cena is up next. Commercial BreakNon Title Match John Cena fought World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes to a No Contest
A solid main event here. Despite being attacked on two separate occasions tonight, John Cena still competed here in the main event. Rhodes took advantage of Cena's injuries and was able to keep him down for most of the match. Cena was re fueled by the WWE Universe and came back in this match stronger. Rhodes was able to plant Cena with a DDT towards the end of the match. Rhode was picking Cena up for a second one, but Cena brought Rhodes down to the ground and locked in the STF. It looked like Rhodes was on the verge of tapping. The WWE Universe was on their feet as Cena was about to make the World champion submit. However, Kane came down to the ring with Vince McMahon. Cena stood up as Rhodes slid out of the ring. Cena began striking Kane, but they were ineffective. Kane kneed Cena in the gut and grabbed his throat. Kane dropped Cena with a Chokeslam. Vince snatched a microphone said that tonight, Cena gave him one hell of a headache and caused him a lot of trouble. So at Bragging Rights, it will be John Cena vs. Kane. Vince and Kane stood over Cena's lifeless body as SmackDown went off the air.

-Great promo with John Cena and Cody Rhodes. I like the main event tonight. Also liking the IC Title contention. -Mysterio over Punk is a great call either way. Strong start to SmackDown. -Christian over McIntyre was the right call there as Christian's rebound isn't over it seems. -Gabriel winning the IC Championship was a nice shocker. Solid call though. -Serena over Kelly was a nice squash there. -Cena/Rhodes ending in No Contest to set up Cena/Kane at Bragging Rights. -Good show; lot's of excitement and advancement at Bragging Rights.

-Good opening promo with Cena/Rhodes. Looking forward to their match. -Rey Mysterio going to ECW is shocking. ECW's roster is shaping up well. Him beating CM Punk in his last SD match is good as well. -Christian beating McIntyre in the Bragging Rights Preview is good. -Gabriel winning the IC title was unexpected. Hope he has a great run. -Serena over Kelly is good. -Mercury being separated from SES and going to ECW should probably be good. So as Bryan Danielson. -Cena/Kane going into No Contest due to Kane is a great set up for their match. Kane/Cena should be nice at BR. Overall, Nice SmackDown.

WWE RAW: Monday 4th October 2010...Decent promo to start up with Ted Dibiase in the ring, but after a pay-per-view I believe that it's always best for a member of the previous pay-per-view's WWE Championship main event to come out. Nice promo following the beating at No Mercy but good stuff; Dibiase as captain of Team RAW at Bragging Rights does seem odd, however. Wow, ECW; couldn't give a crap about it. Will probably still review it, R-Truth is a beastly heel. John Morrison beating him is good, decent opening contest. Yoshi Tatsu to ECW? What a waste of a draft pick. The Miz's promo was great, good promo before Randy Orton came out. The number one contenders match should have opened, honestly. It wasn't even in first hour main event's position. Glad that Randy Orton's facing Miz though, good bout but random fatal four-way. Another unoriginal draft pick with Goldust going to ECW. You may as well have just done an ECW 2009 diary with a draft taking place. Wade Barrett on commentary for a match between Sheamus and Chris Jericho is a little odd, especially since Sheamus and Barrett are both centered in the tag team division; somewhere Jericho nor Morrison should venture again. Melina beating Jillian was likely, not bad. Lastly, weak main event in my mind, but good win for Christian against Ted Dibiase. Overall, a decent show but unsure of direction still. Hopefully it becomes more clear.

Okay so the new format is pretty cool. Nice way to bring it back up. -Ted DiBiase as captain when you have Batista, Booker T, and Triple H is weird so I'm glad they are doing a Battle Royal now. -Ted keeping his spot was shocking. But it's a good was to build for him though. -Morrison and MVP picking up victories is cool. -The Miz over Evan Bourne was expected since he's the champion.
-Kaval over Mercury is fine either way to kick off ECW. -Harris over Masters seemed like the right call to bring him in on a major show. -Riley over Tatsu was nice too. -Edge winning the #1 Contender in his return is awesome. Edge and Jackson is different but exciting. -Good show; basically built the future here.
-Cena running the Gauntlet tonight is cool. Looking forward to that. -Ted, HHH, and Batista over Christian, Show, and Swagger is a big start to RAW. -Ohhhh. I wonder who the masked man is. I have a prediction but I don't wanna possibly spoil. If it is who I think it is, I hope you stretch it until Mania. -Gabriel over Gaspard is the right call in my opinion since he's the champ. Hope this doesn't end Gaspard's push though. -Cena winning the Gauntlet is great. But sad ending for him though. Hope he beats Kane at Bragging Rights since he's lost at the last 4 PPVs. -Serena over Kelly was expected since she's the champion. Kofi Kingston returning is great! Rhodes/Kofi at Bragging Rights is nice for the future. Can't wait for that. -Good show; ending with an exclamation point there. Can't wait for Bragging Rights.
