- Could of gone either way on this opener, as neither team really have relevant guys. - Harris vs Striker? Damn. That's pretty intriguing. Shall be interesting to see how it plays out. - Not that fond of the ironman match on Raw, it seems like it's just there to fill up a lot of time. - The pros going over is really meh to me, as the rookies kind of looked weak losing - not good towards the finale.
An alright show overall, the progression just seemed odd.

Friday Night SmackDown! August 27, 2010 Bakersfield, CA
Superstars Vance Archer def. JTG Bryan Danielson def. Matt Hardy
Tonight's show begins with a video package recapping what happened last week with the World Heavyweight Championship and Vince McMahon's actions at the end of the show along with Jack Swagger and The Dudebusters.
After the video is done, the lights go out and a loud gong is heard. The Undertaker makes his legendary entrance to the ring. After he gets in, he says that at SummerSlam, Vince McMahon sealed his fate by screwing him out of the World Heavyweight Championship. And last week, him, Jack Swagger, and The Dudebusters took it upon themselves to do the same to his brother Kane. Taker says that he doesn't know why these actions are happening, but he can assure that vengeance will seek the four of them. "No Chance In Hell" hits as Vince, Swagger, and The Dudebusters come out to the stage. Vince says that he will give Taker an explanation. Basically, he screwed Taker at SummerSlam because he doesn't want an old fart representing one of the brands as champion. He wants somebody that can carry SmackDown for the next number of years, like Jack Swagger. Vince then said that as far as Kane goes, he screwed Kane because he needed somebody for Swagger to let his anger out on. And since Taker was nowhere to be found, they attacked the person that was the closest to him. Vince then said that later on tonight, The Undertaker will face Swagger and The Dudebusters in a 3 on 1 handicap match. The Undertaker said that if Vince wants death to reach his minions before him, then so be it.
Commercial Break
World Heavyweight Championship Semi Finals CM Punk def. Justin Gabriel
A fantastic match to open tonight's show. Both of these men really wanted to reach the finals of the tournament, but the crowd was clearly behind Gabriel. Punk soon was in control of the match. The tables soon turned however. Punk had Gabriel in position for the GTS, but Gabriel put his hands in the way of his head. Gabriel then hit an enziguri on Punk. He went for the cover, but he barely got a two count. He then hit a quick dropkick. He went for another cover, but the results were the same. Gabriel then went for a hurricarana, but Punk held onto him and dropped him with a powerbomb. Punk then placed Gabriel on the top turnbuckle. He was going for a superplex, but Gabriel hit him with a few shots to the gut. Punk soon fell off, landing flat on the mat. Gabriel hit the 450 Splash on Punk's back. He was in a bit of pain though from his chest connecting with Punk's spine. The crowd was out of their seats now cheering Gabriel on as he went for the cover. The announcers could feel it as well with Striker yelling "come on Gabriel!" He got the cover, but was Punk kicked out about a millisecond before three. Gabriel, the announcers, and the crowd were in shock at the fact that Punk kicked out. Gabriel was visibly distraught. He tried to pick Punk up, but he ended in position for the GTS. Punk hit it and got the win.
Punk celebrated his win as he is now in the finals of the tournament, but the real story here was the effort that Gabriel gave this match. After Punk left the ring, the crowd gave Gabriel a standing ovation. He truly showed tonight that he belongs here.
An updated bracket for the tournament is shown. Punk is now in the finals. The only thing left to find out is who his opponent will be at Night Of Champions. Christian or Big Show.
Commercial Break
Justin Gabriel is shown walking back to his locker room. Several people are congratulating him on his effort.
Singles Match MVP def. Shad Gaspard
A solid match here. MVP was looking to bounce back from his loss in the tournament last week. Gaspard was still looking to make an impact though. In the end, MVP hit the 305 on the Brooklyn Beast to get the win.
MVP celebrated his win after the match, but Gaspard soon got back up to his feet and was not happy with what just went down. He immediately attacked MVP and soon finished him off with an STO onto the floor. He kept saying that this is his time and not MVP's.
Vince McMahon is shown leading his team out to the ring as they are in action against The Undertaker next.
Commercial Break
A promo is shown for the season finale of NXT next week.
3 On 1 Handicap Match The Undertaker def. Jack Swagger and The Dudebusters W/ Vince McMahon via disqualification
a solid first hour main event here. The Undertaker was clearly outnumbered here, but that didn't affect one bit. He still dominated here. Barreta and Croft put up a good fight, but Swagger was probably the biggest challenge for Taker here. In the end, Undertaker dropped Croft with a Tombstone. As he was getting the pin, Barreta and Swagger jumped into the ring and assaulted Taker. The referee called for the bell since they wouldn't stop.
Croft soon got back to his feet and joined Swagger and Barreta the beatdown on The Undertaker. Swagger and The Dudebusters held onto Taker while he was on his knees. It looked as if Vince was about to spit in Taker's face. However, pyro went off on the stage and Kane made his way to the ring. Swagger and The Dudebusters were able to get the better of him, but that all changed when Taker got back up. The Brother's Of Destruction were able to rid the ring of the heels. Vince ran to the back before Taker and Kane could get their hands on him. Teddy Long appeared on the titantron though. He said that he has an announcement to make. At Raw 900, The Dudebusters better be ready for a war because they will take on The Brothers Of Destruction. The Dudebusters are livid.
Commercial Break
A promo is shown for Night Of Champions.
Tag Team Match Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston def. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler
a good tag team match here. The main focus here was the feud between Rhodes and Mysterio over the IC Title. The announcers reminded everybody that Mysterio will face Drew McIntyre on Raw 900. In the end here, Kingston hit Ziggler with Trouble In Paradise to get the victory for his team.
Mysterio and Kingston celebrated their victory after the match. Rhodes grabbed a microphone and made a proposal to Kingston. Rhodes said "If you are the fighting man that you claim to be then you may want to listen to my offer. What do you say you put your Money In The Bank briefcase on the line against me at Raw 900?" Kingston thought about it for a bit before saying that he is a fighting man so he accepts. Mysterio asks Kingston if he's sure that he wants to do that. Kingston says that he has everything under control. Rhodes said that Kingston just made the biggest mistake of his life. We will find out at Raw 900 if his words are true.
Commercial Break
Kofi Kingston is shown walking around backstage when he was met by Teddy Long. He asked Kingston if he's sure that he wants to put the briefcase on the line against Rhodes. Kingston said that he's not going to let Rhodes or anybody think that he's a coward. This is something he has to do.
Mixed Tag Match Women's Champion Kelly Kelly and Chris Masters def. Serena and Luke Gallows
The purpose of this match mainly was to hype the Womens Title match between Kelly and Serena at Night Of Champions. Masters and Gallows put on a decent showing though. In the end, Masters forced Gallows to submit to the Master Lock.
Masters and Kelly celebrated their victory. Joey Mercury helped Gallows to the back, but Serena stayed at ringside to have a few words with Kelly.
Big Show is shown walking to the ring. His semi finals match with Christian is up next.
Commercial Break
A quick video package is shown to hype the WWE Title match between champion Chris Jericho and challenger The Miz this Monday on Raw 900.
World Heavyweight Championship Semi Finals Christian def. Big Show
A solid main event here. Christian had a big obstacle in front of him and he was desperately looking for a way past it. Show used his strength as his weapon, but Christian used his speed and agility. Christian soon hit a dropkick off the top turnbuckle onto Show. This brought Show down to the mat. Christian then hit a diving headbutt. He went for the cover, but Show was able to kick out. Christian tried to turn Show around and hit The Killswitch, but he was unsuccessful at doing so. Christian found a way to get to the top rope once again. He went for a crossbody, but Show caught him. Show turned around, but Christian accidentally kicked the referee. Show put him Christian down, only to hit him with the Knockout Punch. Show got the cover, but there was no referee. However, Chavo Guerrero came down to the ring for the first time since Show knocked him out a few weeks ago. Chavo yelled "Hey Show!" Show turned around, but Chavo clocked him in the jaw with a pair of brass knuckle. Show was out cold. Chavo left the ring. A new referee came running down to the ring. Christian soon got back up to his feet and covered Show to get the win.
Christian and the WWE Universe celebrated this huge win. It is now official. Christian will face CM Punk in the finals of the tournament at Night Of Champions for the World Heavyweight Title.

-Don't know how Undertaker is going to go over in this 3 on 1 Handicap Match. But it should be a good main event. -Punk over Gabriel was obvious and a great call. Nice to see Punk back in the main-event scene. -MVP over Gaspard sounds like a good call to me. MVP's push has been fine. Wow. A bit confusing here. Undertaker winning in 3 on 1 makes me think he can beat them all in 1 on 1. Post-match is nice. -Rey and Kofi over Dolph Ziggler and Cody is a great call worthy of first-hour. Rey/Cody sounds nice. -Decent hype for the Women's Championship Match at NOC with the faces winning. -Christian over Show is a big shocker but I love it! The World Heavyweight Championship Match for NOC is epic. -Very good show; wish that NOC were now.

I'll give a more full reply to Raw, but I have to say that the card for it is too much. I get that it's a three hour special, but ten matches is too much. Especially when one is a 30 minute Ironman match.

Raw 900 August 30th, 2010 Boston, MA
Dark Match: Alberto Del Rio def. Lucky Cannon
Superstars Zack Ryder def. Santino Marella Evan Bourne and Gail Kim def. Vladimir Kozlov and Jillian
Tonight's historic show opens with a video package recapping some memorable moments on Raw. This includes Stone Cold Steve Austin's antics against Vince McMahon (Stunning in MSG, beating him in the hospital, driving a Zamboni into the arena , spraying him with a beer truck, etc.), the infamous "Rock: This Is Your Life" segment, DX invading WCW, Triple H's reigns over the years, Kane unmasking, Evolution, the unforgettable tribute shows to Eddie Guerrero, and many more great moments. It then shows the actions that have taken place in the past two weeks between WWE Champion Chris Jericho and The Miz to hype their championship match tonight.
After the intro plays, a huge pyrotechnics display is blasted. Jim Ross, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Michael Cole welcome us the the 900th episode of Monday Night Raw. JR tells that since the show is packed with action, we are going to get started right now.
Singles Match John Cena def. Ted DiBiase
Cena came to the ring first to an incredible reaction from his hometown crowd. Ted DiBiase came out next to the exact opposite of that. The match was pretty much a copy of their match at SummerSlam. Nothing was really different except for the fact that Ezekiel Jackson was allowed at ringside this time. Cena was in full control, but the tables soon turned after Ted hit Cena with a low blow. From then on, the match was all DiBiase. In the end he was getting ready to lock Cena in the Million Dollar Dream. However, WWE Champion Chris Jericho came running down the entrance ramp. He clocked Jackson in the back of the head with his title belt. DiBiase soon turned his attention to Jericho, who walked back up the entrance ramp. DiBiase put his attention back on Cena, but it was too late as he found himself on Cena's shoulders and was soon dropped with an Attitude Adjustment. Cena got the cover to get the win.
Jericho had a smile on his face after the referee counted three. He got a bit of revenge against Ted for his actions last week. Cena went into the crowd to celebrate with the fans, his friends, and his family. He has now gotten revenge for his loss at SummerSlam.
The three remaining NXT rookies (Kaval, Alex Riley, and Michael McGillicuty) are shown in their locker rooms preparing for their final match at NXT rookies. The 30 Minute Ironman match will begin at the top of the second hour.
Commercial Break
Divas Championship Maryse (c) def. Melina to retain the title
A solid divas match here that saw the in ring return of Melina. She showed that she didn't lose a step in the ring and very well had this match won on several occasions. In the end, Maryse claimed that she needed to catch her breath, so she backed up into a corner. Melina immediately charged at her. She got on the second rope and began striking Maryse. Soon, Maryse was able to powerbomb Melina off of her. Maryse then covered her with her feet on the ropes to get the win.
Maryse took her title and laughed as Melina had a furious look on her face. Nonetheless, Maryse managed to prove her doubters wrong by retaining the Divas Championship against Melina.
Todd Grisham was now standing by with John Morrison. Grisham asked Morrison if he feels that he is ready to take on R Truth tonight. Morrison said that he was more than ready. sometime during the interview, Truth attacked Morrison. Truth finished his attack by ramming a crate into Morrison. Help soon came for Morrison as Truth looked at him with a cold look in his eyes.
Commercial Break
Todd Grisham asked the trainers if John Morrison would be able to compete tonight. The trainer said that it doesn't look that way.
SmackDown Money In The Bank Briefcase Cody Rhodes def. Kofi Kingston (c) to WIN the briefcase
A solid match here. Kingston looked to be a little off though in his performance though. Rhodes was in the driver's seat for a good part of the match. Kingston soon fought back though and was able to hit the Boom Drop. After that, Kingston was getting ready to hit Trouble In Paradise. Rhodes ducked the attempt though. Rhodes then rolled Kingston up with a handful of tights to steal the victory and the briefcase.
The crowd and announcers were in shock at what just happened. Kofi Kingston could not believe that he just lost his ticket to the World title. As soon as Rhodes was handed the briefcase, his celebration began. He hugged the briefcase and taunted Kingston and the crowd. Rhodes now has possession the SmackDown briefcase and has a little less than 11 months to cash it in.
Commercial Break
Cody Rhodes was shown walking around the backstage area with his newly won SmackDown briefcase. He was soon met by Ted DiBiase, who had his Raw briefcase in hand. The two stared each other and their briefcases for a bit before continuing on with their business. Abraham Washington soon asked DiBiase to come into his office. Washington told DiBiase that his actions last week against Chris Jericho were way out of line and punishment is in order. DiBiase asked what the punishment would be. Washington said that a suspension is in order. DiBiase was now furious and told Washington that he can't suspend the number one superstar on Raw. Washington said that he's not suspending Ted. DiBiase than told Washington that he can't be thinking about suspending Ezekiel. Washington said that Ezekiel is not the one being suspended. DiBiase was now confused and asked who was being suspended. Washington said that Ted's briefcase would be suspended. Ted was now furious. Washington said that for the next 35 days Ted will not be allowed to cash in his briefcase. Ted looked like he was about to attack Washington both verbally and physically, but he instead just threw his briefcase on the floor and walked out of Washington's office.
30 Minute Ironman Match Alex Riley (2 falls) def. Kaval (1 fall) and Michael McGillicuty (1 fall)
An extremely competitive first hour main event here. All three of these rookies knew that this was their last chance to shine before the season finale. Michael McGillicuty got the first pinfall of the match after hitting a swinging neckbreaker onto Kaval. Alex Riley then immediately went after McGillicuty. Riley was soon able to drop him with the TKO to get the second pinfall of the match. The time was now at 13:42. Kaval got his first pinfall of the match by connecting McGillicuty with the Warrior's Way. Riley was now the only rookie without a pinfall yet. That all changed as he came off the top rope with an elbow drop on Kaval to get himself even with the other competitors. The time was now at 25 minutes. With five minutes left go and the match tied, everybody tried to take any pinfall that they possibly could. At the 29 minute mark, roll ups were coming like crazy. Kaval stood out though as went to the top rope and went for a crossbody, but Riley caught him. Riley used Kaval's feet to take McGillicuty out of the equation. Riley dropped Kaval with the TKO and got the pinfall at the 29:48 mark. With both McGillicuty and Kaval down on the mat, he knew that he had this match won. And he did.
Riley celebrated the biggest win of his career. McGillicuty and Kaval had a troubled look on their faces as they realized that Riley may have just won NXT.
Triple H was shown making his way to the ring. He has a match with Edge and it is next.
Commercial Break
Alex Riley is shown being congratulated by his pro The Miz. Miz says that Riley proved that he is NXT, and tonight he will become the new WWE Champion.
Special Challenge Edge and Triple H fought to a no contest
A very solid contest here between two men who have quite the history with Raw. Triple H let all of his aggressions caused by Booker T out on Edge here. Edge didn't let Triple H intimidate him that easily though. The Rated R Superstar fought back and soon looked like he had the match won. Triple H fought back also though and soon hit Edge with the Pedigree. Right when the referee was about to make the three count, Booker T pulled the referee out and gave him a very stiff right hand. Booker got into the ring but was quickly beaten down by Triple H. Booker soon kicked Triple H in the mid section and hit the Scissors Kick. booker then grabbed a mic and spoke his first words since returning at SummerSlam. He said that an old saying of his rings true right now. Don't hate the player. Hate the game. And in this case, the game is Triple H. Booker left the ring without giving the world a reason for his actions as of late.
WWE Champion Chris Jericho was shown in his locker room preparing for his title defense tonight against The Miz.
Commercial Break
Raw vs. SmackDown United States Champion Drew McIntyre def. Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio
A solid match here. Both men really wanted to make their brands proud by getting the victory here. Mysterio played fair, but Drew used almost every trick in the book to try and get the win here. Rey hit McIntyre with the 619 towards the end, which got the crowd hot. He went for the West Coast Pop, but Drew slammed hit down to the mat with a Powerbomb. As Rey was getting to his feet, Drew locked his arms in position for the Future Shock. Drew planted Rey with it to get the victory for Raw.
Drew celebrated his victory. It seemed that he used this match to prepare for his title defense against Evan Bourne at Night Of Champions, seeing as how both Rey and Evan are small in stature. While Rey was getting up, Cody Rhodes hit the ring with his newly won Money In The Bank briefcase and leveled Rey in the head with it. Rhodes took Rey's Intercontinental Title belt and held that along with the briefcase high in the air.
Vince McMahon is shown in his office giving The Dudebusters a quick pep talk before their match against the Brother's Of Destruction. They leave the office to head to the ring. Swagger tries to leave with the, but Vince tells him that he can't have the face of SmackDown risk injury.
Commercial Break
A promo is shown for Night Of Champions.
Tag Team Match Kane and The Undertaker def. The Dudebusters
A quick and simple match here. The Dudebusters basically got squashed here, which is shame after the roll that they were on in the summer. Kane and Taker really took it to Barreta and Croft, barely giving them anytime to catch their breath. The two brothers hit simultaneous Tombstones on the two Dudebusters to get the win.
While the Brothers Of Destruction posed in the ring, Vince and Swagger came out to the stage. Taker took a microphone and said that since The Dudebusters have been taken care of, he and Kane have their sights set on Swagger and Vince. Vince said that Taker and Kane can say everything that they want, but in the end they're just going to face the fate that everybody faces when they cross the boss. They're going to get screwed.
The Miz is shown in his locker room preparing for the biggest match of his career tonight against Chris Jericho.
Commercial Break
Wade Barrett and Sheamus make their way to the ring. Barrett takes a microphone and says that the audience better get a good look at the next Unified Tag Team Champions. Sheamus then said that with them as champions, the entire WWE roster will bow to them and they will be unstoppable. The Hart Dynasty then made their way to the ring to officially begin the match.
Unified Tag Team Championships Wade Barrett and Sheamus def. The Hart Dynasty via disqualification (Hart Dynasty retains)
A fine match here that could've gone either way honestly. Sheamus and Barrett used their strength as their weapon and it proved to be very effective. The momentum was traded back and forth several times throughout the match. Tyson Kidd was thrown around most of the time here since his opponents were two behemoths. Smith was able to provide good competition for them though. Kidd was soon tagged in and went for a springboard clothesline on Barrett. Wade moved out of the way though and Kidd hit the referee. The two teams continued to have a fair battle despite the referee being out. Sheamus soon grew tired of the fair fight and brought one of the title belts into play. He swung it at Smith's head, but he was able to duck it and kick Sheamus in the mid section. Kidd was on the ring apron now. Barrett tried to pull him down, but Smith took care of him. Kidd then springboarded off of the top rope and came down with a bulldog on Sheamus. Sheamus' face connected with the title belt that was dropped. However, the referee was conscious enough to witness this and called for the bell.
Kidd and Smith couldn't believe that they were disqualified. It appeared that Kidd didn't even realize that Sheamus' face connected with the title belt. Barrett and Sheamus now assaulted The Hart Dynasty. The two headed to the backstage area rather quickly.
Commercial Break
Wade Barrett and Sheamus are shown in Abraham Washington's office. They tell Abraham that they should get a rematch due to The Hart Dynasty getting disqualified on purpose. Abraham said that while he doesn't believe the the DQ was intentional, he does believe that a rematch is in order. And that will take place at Night Of Champions.
Justin Roberts now announced that the following contest is for the WWE Championship.
WWE Championship The Miz def. Chris Jericho (c) to WIN the title
It was now time for one of the most anticipated match in recent Raw history. The Miz was quick on the attack here. Jericho fought back though. Jericho delivered a few knife edge chops to Miz, who squirmed out of the ring to catch his breath. Jericho responded to this by diving over the top rope and onto The Miz.
Commercial Break
After we returned from the commercial break, the time was well past the usual end time for Raw. The announcers said that they will stay on air until a winner is named. Jericho soon had the Walls Of Jericho applied on Miz. He was able to reach the ropes though. Jericho pulled Miz back to the middle of the ring though. Miz kicked Jericho away from him however. Jericho charged at Miz, but Miz moved out of the way and went behind him. Miz locked Jericho in position for the Skull Crushing Finale, which was executed perfectly. Miz got the cover, but Jericho was able to place his foot on the bottom rope. Miz brought Jericho to his feet and irish whipped him into the ropes. Jericho went behind The Miz though. Jericho turned him around and hit him with a Codebreaker. Jericho got the cover, but R Truth came down to ringside and pulled the referee out. Jericho could not believe Truth's actions. Randy Orton now came down to take Truth out. Their brawl eventually ended up in the backstage area. The referee had his focus on stopping that brawl. Because of that, Ted DiBiase came into the ring from the crowd. He took the WWE Title belt and nailed Jericho in the skull with it. He quickly left the scene. Miz soon draped his arm over Jericho as the referee counted three. The unthinkable just happened.
The crowd and announcers were in shock at this. Miz was handed the WWE Title and cried tears of joy. He celebrated with the title as Ted DiBiase was shown in the audience with a huge smile on his face. Miz continued his celebration as Raw went off the air. History has been made tonight on Raw 900. The WWE Championship is now awesome.

-John Cena going over in his hometown is great as usual for me. -Maryse retaining was expected considering Melina hasn't been back long enough. -Shocking to see Rhodes win the SmackDown MITB it's sort of half-and-half though. Good since Kofi doesn't need a briefcase to make him a star. He's already doing great. -Magical start for Miz and Riley. Riley winning the match was interesting. Most likely, he's won NXT. -Edge and Triple H going into a No Contest is good. As well as Booker's promo. Doing well stretching this after NOC but it'll be hard. -McIntyre over Mysterio sounds very nice as it's McIntyre's home turf. -Brothers of Desturction over Dudebusters was an expected squash. -Hart Dynasty retaining sounds cool as they need a very nice reign which they are getting so far. -Great main event. Woah! This is shocking. Miz as WWE Champion is AWESOME! (No pun intended). -Very shocking episode! Good job.

NXT August 31, 2010 Albany, NY
"Finale"
A video package is shown recapping season 2 of NXT and the eliminations that have led up to this night.
Ashley Valance is shown on the stage with all of the pros except for The Miz. She says that she will be hosting the show tonight since Matt Striker has a match tonight with Husky Harris. While she is welcoming everyone to the season finale of NXT, "I Came To Play" hits as the new WWE Champion comes to the stage. Ashley tells him that he can't interrupt the finale like that. Miz tells her, all of the pros, and the entire WWE Universe to look at what's on his shoulder. The WWE Championship. Therefore he doesn't need anybody below him telling him what to do. Ashley tells him to take a seat. He grabs one of the empty chairs and moves it to the other side of the stage away from the rest of the pros. He says that failure is contagious and he doesn't want to catch it. The three remaining rookies are now introduced. Kaval, Michael McGillicuty, and the winner of the Ironman match, Alex Riley. After they get in the ring, Ashley tells them that they should all be congratulated on making it to the season finale. However, only one of them can win, and the first elimination will happen right now.
#1. Alex Riley #2. Michael Mcgillicuty #3. Kaval [Eliminated]
Kaval and LayCool look very disappointed. He says that he's not going to show his bad side tonight, but instead thanks the WWE for giving him this opportunity and thanks the WWE Universe for giving him the chance to do what he loves to do. He gets a standing ovation before leaving. After he leaves, Alex Riley and Michael McGillicuty are left standing in the middle of the ring. Ashley tells the two of them that they have made it to the final two and tonight, one of them will win a WWE contract and a title match on pay per view. The two of them then head to the back as the eliminated rookies from season 1 and season 2 of NXT come to the ring for the battle royal.
Commercial Break
Eliminated Rookies Battle Royal Lucky Cannon last eliminated David Otunga to win
This battle royal featured the eliminated rookies from NXT season 1 and season 2 who are still not under contract. The first person to go out here was Michael Tarver, who threw a huge fit after. Darren Young and Percy Watson were both thrown out by Eli Cottonwood. It took everybody in the match to take Cottonwood out. Titus O' Neil was soon tossed out by David Otunga, who looked very dominate in this match. We were now down to three. Lucky Cannon, Heath Slater, and David Otunga. Slater was tossed out by Otunga very soon. When it came down to Otunga and Cannon, the two of them went at it in a very competitive contest. While Cannon was groggy on the ropes, Otunga charged at him. Cannon pulled down the ropes and Otunga was sent outside of the ring.
Cannon celebrated his win as Otunga threw a huge fit. He could not believe that he lost. Cannon's win here may spark some interest in one of the two GM's.
Commercial Break
After we returned from the commercial break, we saw Darren Young walking around backstage when he saw Percy Watson who looked to be a bit down. Watson said that he had the match won, but Cottonwood to get in his business and throw him out. Young said that Cottonwood eliminated him too. Watson said that he can't go down as the guy who got eliminated from NXT. Young said that he can't either. Watson asked Young where he was from. Young responded by saying that he was from Miami. Watson said that he has an idea.
Special Challenge Husky Harris def. Matt Striker
Striker was still in good shape here and showed that he can still go. More than anybody, especially Harris, thought. That didn't mean that he got a free ride here here. Harris came at him hard. Striker saw first hand that Harris is truly the Tank with the Ferrari engine. It was shown at the end of the match when Striker went for crossbody off the top rope. Harris moved out of the way and Striker crashed to the mat. Harris then came down on Striker with his Running Senton. Harris got the cover to take home the win.
After the match was over, Harris hit another Running Senton on Striker. Followed by two more. Officials soon came down to check on Striker as Harris headed to the back to a lot of heat from the audience.
A graphic is shown that says that coming up next, we will reveal the winner of NXT season 2.
Commercial Break
A promo is shown for Night Of Champions.
Josh Mathews informs us that Matt Striker is being tended to right now by doctors for possibly bruised ribs due to Harris' assault on him.
Ashley Valance is now standing in the middle of the ring as Michael McGillicuty and Alex Riley come down to the ring. Both men tell the audience why they feel they should win NXT. Riley says he should win because he was made for this business. McGillicuty said that he should win because he needs to continue the Hennig family legacy. Ashley said that it is now time to reveal the winner of NXT Season 2. The drum roll is played for an exceedingly long time. You can see the nervousness on the faces of Riley and McGillicuty. We can hear some audience members shouting the two finalist's names. Soon, the drum roll stops and the outcome of NXT is revealed.
#1. Michael McGillicuty [Winner] #2. Alex Riley [Eliminated]
McGillicuty jumps up with excitement. Alex Riley on the other hand is in complete shock. The Miz sports the same look. Ashley announces that Michael McGillicuty has won NXT season 2. The rest of the Pros clap. The Miz asks for a microphone, but he is never given one. When Ashley Valance asks Riley how he feels about coming in 2nd place, he throws a tantrum and asks how it's possible for him to lose when he won the Ironman match on Raw. Ashley says that after The Miz's behavior at the beginning of the show, all of the Pros decided to vote against Riley. And in the WWE Universe poll. McGillicuty's number of votes exceeded his. Miz and Riley both continued their tantrums despite not having a microphone in their hands. McGillicuty says that it was obvious from the beginning that he would be the WWE's next breakout star. He says that he knows that he and Kingston didn't get along this season but he still wants to thank him for tolerating him. He then says that with his title shot on pay per view, nobody will be able to stop him. And he will be the face of SmackDown. Ashley announces one last time that Michael McGillicuty is the winner of NXT season 2. He continues his celebration as NXT goes off the air.

-Shocking to see Kaval go. Actually no. Kind of figured it. Good run for him. -Cannon winning the Battle Royal was a big shocker. I thought that maybe Otunga or Slater would win. -Knew that Striker wouldn't win but he gave a good effort. Harris winning was the best call since he's the wrestler. -Michael McGillicutty winning NXT is big shocker. I thought Riley had it considering he won the Ironman. -Shocker night if you ask me. Good show and can't wait for Season 3.

WWENXT: Striker in a match is cool but a bit unrealistic. Kaval going out third makes the most sense, I'm sure he'll make it fine in the company. Cannon winning the battle royal is definatley a surprise especially over Otunga who I would've gave the win to. Uh, I was gonna have Watson and Young team too, lol. Husky over Striker is good, Matt didn't need the win. Harris' post-match attack makes him look brutal which is good. Kind of weak reasons to why they should win but I'll go with it. McGillicutty winning was great but why was Riley shifted to number two after being number one earlier when neither man had done anything all night. A good show, just a few things need working on.

-Kaval being third eliminated is good. -Lucky winning the battle royal was unexpected, but it is nice. Wonder what Young and Watson are up to. -Harris over Striker is the best call for he hasn't been in the ring for a while. The post match actions are great as well. -McGillicutty winning NXT is great. All pros voting against him because of the Miz is good as well. Wonder how his career will go on SmackDown. Overall, nice NXT Finale

Friday Night SmackDown! September 3, 2010 Albany, NY
Superstars Chris Masters def. Luke Gallows Dolph Ziggler def. JTG
After the intro, Michael Cole and Todd Grisham welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown. They inform us that Matt Striker is not here tonight. He is at home nursing his injuries that he sustained at the hands of Husky Harris this past Tuesday on NXT.
Cody Rhodes now comes to the ring with his newly won Money In The Bank briefcase. After he gets in the ring, he tells everybody that they didn't think it would happen. They thought that their night in shining armor, Kofi Kingston, would walk out here tonight still the holder of the Money In The Bank briefcase. But instead, he is. He is the new Mr. Money In The Bank. As for when he will cash it in, only time will tell. But when he does cash in, he will become World Heavyweight Champion. Suddenly, Kofi Kingston comes out to the stage. He says while Rhodes cheated to win, he still win and there's nothing that he can do about that. But what he can do tonight is take it back. Rhodes tells Kingston that he can't have a rematch just because he wants one. Kingston says that can't, but theres a little secret about the Money In The Bank briefcase that nobody knows. The briefcase holds two contracts. The first being the contract for a World Title match. Kingston then pulls out the second contract and says that it is for a rematch clause in case the briefcase holder ever lost the briefcase. So he is using that rematch clause tonight. Rhodes was now livid as he will have to defend the briefcase tonight.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Shad Gaspard def. MVP
MVP requested this match after the assault that Gaspard delivered to him last week. This was a solid opening contest between two rising stars here on SmackDown. MVP was a bit more aggressive here. Gaspard's behavior here was no different than usual. In the end, MVP went for the 305, but Gaspard was able to throw MVP off of him. As MVP was getting to his feet, Gaspard nailed him in the head with a vicious big boot. Gaspard got the cover to get the win.
After the match, Gaspard threw MVP out of the ring. He continued his attack by stomping on Montel and finally finished it off with an STO onto the floor.
Vince McMahon was shown in his office when Jack Swagger walked in. He asked where Barreta and Croft are. Vince said that he told them not to arrive until later. Swagger asked him why. Vince said it's because tonight, Kane and The Undertaker are going to call them out. Swagger asked what he plans to do about that. Vince said that they are going to answer their calls and confront them.
A graphic is shown for the Smackdown main event of Night Of Champions - Christian vs. CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. The graphic was shown to hype the contract signing taking place tonight.
Commercial Break
We hear Chavo Guerrero’s entrance music plays as he walks to the stage. He actually gets a rather loud pop from the crowd. His opponent is shown in the ring. It is an individual who goes by the name of Alberto Del Rio. While Chavo is walking to the ring, he is attacked from behind by The Big Show. Show chokeslams Chavo onto the steel entrance. The giant soon throws Chavo into the ring as the referee rings the bell.
Singles Match Alberto Del Rio def. Chavo Guerrero
Big Show stayed at ringside to watch this match. Chavo was in no condition to compete, but that didn’t seem to matter here. Right after the bell rang, the debuting Alberto Del Rio locked Chavo in an Armbar. Guerrero has no choice but to submit.
After the match, Big Show walked back up the ramp, proud of what he just accomplished. Chavo stayed on the mat in pain. Del Rio celebrated in the ring as the announcers put over his successful debut.
Highlights from Raw 900 are shown.
Commercial Break
Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer are shown in the ring. Hawkins says that they are tired of being overlooked in the WWE. They say that it makes no sense for a team such as Wade Barrett and Sheamus to become the #1 Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships, and they haven't gotten one. So right now, they are challenging any team that is in the back. After a few seconds of silence, a dance type song plays as Percy Watson and Darren Young come to the ring. After they get in the ring, Hawkins says that they were looking for competitors, not rookies. Archer took the mic and asked who they even were. Watson said that they are the South Beach Boys, and they're here to party. After he said that, both Young and Watson dropkicked Hawkins and Archer.
Tag Team Match The South Beach Boys def. Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer
A solid tag team bout here. The crowd seemed to be very much on the side of Young and Watson here. Hawkins and Archer seemed to be annoyed by their dance antics. Despite their style, they were both very impressive here in their SmackDown debut. In the end, Young launched himself over the top rope and onto Archer. In the ring, Watson hit a Float Over DDT onto Hawkins to take home the win.
Watson and Young celebrated their win by dancing in the ring. The fans could tell that Watson and Young are here to stay on SmackDown.
Teddy Long is shown making his way to the ring for the contract signing next.
Commercial Break
Highlights are shown from this past Monday's Raw 900, which saw The Miz shock the world and become the new WWE Champion.
Teddy Long is now in the ring. He brings out the two men who will face each other at Night Of Champions for the World Heavyweight Title, Christian and CM Punk. Before signing the contract, Punk said that Christian must feel really out of place in this match seeing as how he's never won a World Title before. Christian said that he doesn't feel out of place because this is something that he has worked for for over a decade now. Punk says that it doesn't matter how long he has worked for it. If he was truly meant to be a champion, he would've done it already. Christian tells Punk that the only reason that he hasn't been World Champion is because people like him come in and take what people have worked so hard for. Punk asks Christian if he knows why he gets what he wants. It's because he's Straight Edge. Therefore, he is better than everybody else. Christian says that he's been meaning to ask Punk this question. Why is he so obsessed with reverting everybody to a straight edge lifestyle. Punk says because he is tired of seeing people throw their lives away, so he is here to save them. Christian says that Punk just needs to accept the fact that people are different and there's nothing that anybody can do about it. Punk says that Christian needs to accept the fact the he will never become World Champion, so he needs to give up. Christian says that he's not giving up until he becomes World Champion no matter how long that may take. Both men stare at each other for a bit before signing the contract. Soon, Punk levels Christian in the head with the microphone. Punk puts Christian on his shoulders and attempts to put him to sleep, but Christian is able to slide off of his shoulders and throws him over the table. Punk slides out of the ring and heads up the ramp and Christian taunts him in the ring.
Commercial Break
Six Women Tag Team Match Women's Champion Kelly Kelly, Tiffany, and Rosa Mendes def. Serena, Layla, and Michelle McCool
A decent divas match here. It seemed very clustered though. The point here was to hype the Women's Title match between Kelly Kelly and Serena at Night Of Champions. LayCool, Mendes, and Tiffany also played a valuable role here. However the focus was on the champion and the # contender. In the end, Kelly was able to hit the K2 on Serena to get the win.
Kelly, Tiffany, and Mendes celebrated their victory following the match. Kelly was very pleased at the fact that she has gained momentum for Night Of Champions by pinning her opponent for the event.
Teddy Long was shown in his office with Lucky Cannon, the winner of the rookies battle royal this past Tuesday on NXT. It appeared that Teddy was giving Cannon a SmackDown contract. Before Cannon could sign it, David Otunga stormed into the office and attacked Cannon. After Otunga finished his assault, he signed the contract that was meant for Cannon.
Commercial Break
Triple Threat match for a future Intercontinental Title match Bryan Danielson def. Matt Hardy and Justin Gabriel
A very competitive match here. Both Matt and Gabriel have been having problems with Danielson the past number of weeks, and it would come to a head here. Gabriel and Hardy shook hands at the beginning of the match, but Bryan attacked the both of them. It didn’t take long for the two of them to eliminate Bryan from the equation. The two of them had a friendly battle for a bit. In the end however, Gabriel hit the 450 Splash on Matt and seemingly had the match won. Danielson took advantage of the situation though, tossing Gabriel out of the ring and covering Matt to get the win.
Danielson celebrated his win and said that he will become the Intercontinental Champion.
A graphic is shown for the nest match. Cody Rhodes will defend his newly acquired Money In The Bank briefcase against the former holder of the case, Kofi Kingston.
Commercial Break
A limo is shown pulling up in the parking lot. The Dudebusters exit from the vehicle. They tell somebody in the limo to stay in there until Vince comes to get him.
Money In The Bank briefcase Cody Rhodes (c) def. Kofi Kingston to retain
A very solid main event here. Kingston was fired up for this match as he felt that he was cheated out of his briefcase. And rightfully so, as Rhodes had a grip of his tights during the pin. Rhodes didn’t let Kingston’s change of attitude affect him. Towards the end of the match, we saw Kofi kick out of Cross Rhodes. Rhodes seemed to be out of ideas here. He then resorted to using the briefcase. After he brought in the ring, the referee attempted to take it away from him. Rhodes and the referee had a game of tug of war for the briefcase. Rhodes soon let go of the briefcase, but the referee accidentally struck Kofi in the head with the briefcase. Rhodes took advantage of this and covered Kingston. The referee had no choice but to make the count.
After the match, Rhodes planted Kingston with a DDT onto the briefcase. An idea then clicked in Rhodes’ head. He opened the briefcase and placed Kofi’s left inside of it. He then stomped on the briefcase, crushing Kingston’s hand in the process. Kingston was screaming in pain. Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio soon ran down to make the save. Rhodes took his briefcase and rolled out of the ring. Mysterio and the referee checked on Kingston as Rhodes held his briefcase high in the air. It is officially now his to keep.
Commercial Break
We are shown a recap of the events that just took place between Cody Rhodes and Kofi Kingston.
The lights shut as a loud gong is heard. Soon, The Brothers Of Destruction make their slow, yet haunting entrance to the ring. After they are in the ring, Undertaker calls for Vince McMahon. After a few seconds of silence, Vince makes his way to the stage along with his corporate unit of Jack Swagger and The Dudebusters. Kane says that if Vince is truly a man, then him and his stooges will come to the ring now. After a bit of hesitation, they did so. After they were in the ring, Undertaker told Vince that by screwing him and Kane, he sealed his fate. And by aligning themselves with Vince, Swagger and The Dudebusters sealed their fate as well. Vince told the two brothers that if they really want a war, then they will get one. Vince then removed his jacket. Swagger and The Dudebusters also looked like they were getting ready to do battle with Kane and The Undertaker. Suddenly out of nowhere, Michael McGillicuty came into the ring from the crowd with a steel chair in his hands. He nailed Kane in the back with it. Vince rolled out of the ring as Swagger and The Dudebusters began their assault on The Undertaker. McGillicuty continued to strike Kane until he was down on the mat helplessly. The four men then targeted Taker. The Dudebusters hit their finisher on Taker, followed by Swagger dropping him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb. The three of them then hold Taker while he was on his knees. McGillicuty then leveled Taker in the head with the chair. Vince rolled back into the ring to observe the carnage in the ring. He shook McGillcuty’s hand. The now five members of this corporate unit stood tall over the Brother’s Of Destruction as SmackDown comes to a close.

- Good opening promo. Rhodes & Kofi should be good, expecting Cody to retain.
- Shad beating MVP was alright. I was hoping for a MVP push, but I guess Gaspard needed the win more.
- I like the way Croft & Barretta are up there with Taker. They deserve a run at the top.
- Unique debut for Del Rio. Got him over, I guess.
- Nice pairing of Watson/Young. Glad they got the win. WWE needs a good tag division.
- Great contract signing. Good mic work from both. Hopefully, Christian takes the title at NOC.
- Typical Diva's match. I guess I want Serena to win.
- Otunga has potential to be a big time player on Smackdown. Let's see what he brings.
- Danielson winning wasn't a surprise. Should be a good match with whoever wins the title match.
- Cody wins, as I predicted. Him and Rey should have a good one. Don't see him as World Title material, though.
- Good ending to the show. I'm liking the way this Corporate faction is taking shape.
Can't wait for next week's shows. I like your write-up style, very easy to read.

-Real nice to see the mid-carders open the show. Really shows you wanna push them. -I like this vicious side of Gaspard. Him over MVP is big. -Del Rio over Chavo is good to bring him in as Chavo is a former ECW Champion. -TSBB coming into the main roster sounds good for a tag division addition. -Christian/Punk promo was great. Really looking forward to that classic and I hope you make some of your graphics though that's really off subject. -Decent divas match. The faces winning was good. -Danielson going over was a good call as well. Liking the Danielson push so this is looking good for NOC. -Rhodes over Kingston in the rematch was pretty good for a main event. Rey/Cody will be a good one. -Good promo to end the show. This group is really rising. Can't wait to see what's next. -Good show; again, can't wait to see what's next.
