Well I Mean, They Can Do What They Want, Say What They Like They Must feel Men Like Men where as we are suppose To Like Women I Feel Being Gay Is wrong, Please Dont Take Offence But It is No. How are we supposed to like women if I'm born to like men. Do you want me to choose not to be gay just so something that doesn't harm you at all doesn't happen?

If this guy's typing is any indication of the maturity and value of his opinions, then I see this thread getting locked very soon.

Who cares? Not really that big of a deal.... When someone supports killing off groups of people like you let me know. So Target giving money means they support killing off homosexuals?

I am not going to let a corporate decision alter my opinion on every store. It is not like every manager at every Target across the nation decided to donate to the cause. Is supporting that group wrong? Yes. Is it going to make me stop shopping at Target? No. Pretty much sums up my thoughts.

Following the money trail, the Minnesota Independent has also linked Emmer to a Minnesota Christian "punk-rock ministry" that supports the killing of gays and lesbians." 1- "Christian" Punk-Rock is wrong with in it self 2- Supporting the killing Gay and Lesbians is a crime and it's WRONG3- someone needs to face some jail time. For a long long long time.

Well I Mean, They Can Do What They Want, Say What They Like They Must feel Men Like Men where as we are suppose To Like Women I Feel Being Gay Is wrong, Please Dont Take Offence But It is WHY THE DID YOU POST THIS? No one was talking about homosexuality, or the morality of it. You are simply trying to start a fight about it; and congratulations, you've pissed me off. There was absolutely NO reason for you to have posted this... And the fact that you wrote "Please Dont Take Offence", shows that you knew it would offend people. I'm not gay, and have no friends that are, but people like you that throw their views in other people's faces piss me off. I'm really to go off like this, but seriously... Anyway, on topic... I agree with the general consensus that just because Target donated to a group that supported someone else who just happened to believe something crazy, doesn't mean that they agree with it. Either way, it's your choice to no longer support Target, but as long as they have something I want to buy and it's cheaper than elsewhere, I'll still shop there.

Well despite his absolutely abismal typing and punctuation, he wasn't off topic. He mentioned that they may have felt that it was wrong and that he agreed with them. He wrote" Please don't taker offence" because he didn't mean to offend anyone. You're the only one here that got his panties in a bunch. Not even the actual gay guy flipped his lid like you did. Lighten up.

He's not trying to start fights, he's just stating an opinion like you, and everyone else who posts on the boards are.

Just because something is popular, doesn't make it right.

That's got to be the worst argument I've ever seen on this discussion.

In defense of Target, I believe they gave the money to Minn. Forward... which then used the money to pay for the ads. Target wasn't exactly directly involved with the ads. And more importantly, Minn. Forward doesn't support those groups. They support Tom Emmer who "reportedly" supports those groups. Correct me if I'm wrong. Then again, Tom Emmer is a ing idiot to begin with.

Do you want me to choose not to be gay just so something that doesn't harm you at all doesn't happen? Ya know Slappy, and I dont mean this in a negative way, but I dated a girl that was EXTREMELY liberal in her beliefs. Needless to say we're not together anymore (thank God) but we would daily get into arguments on if being a homosexual was a "choice" of if you were "born gay" so to speak. I personally, from my back ground believe its wrong however I dont forbid anyone or banish them to hell yadda yadda yadda....I even have a few gay friends. I just can never ever (and probably never will) understand how its not a choice to be gay. I mean I can look at a guy and go "yea he's an attractive dude" but Id never sleep with him and I feel that's a choice Ive made. I dunno you bringing up about choosing/not choosing to be gay just wanted to make me rant. That is all.

While I don't support the wrangling and beating of tax paying citizens, I do support name brands at bargain prices. ™

Boycotting your local Target over something like this is about as effective as not buying a candy bar from your local BP franchise.
