There was a Vince like that in a similar color suit, but it was the removable half-suit. It was exclusive to the Expect No Mercy 4-pack and was only available at K-Mart stores. I'm thinking the Vince I had was a custom. It'd make sense as easy as BCA heads were to switch, and as much as I traded figures. I used to trade figures at school all the time and with friends..

Vince could've used a suited figure like that, so it was probably a convincing custom.
A gray repaint of that, or the HBK torso, would have looked great for a proper Mr. McMahon.

Had to have been this: I don't know if I've ever seen a loose pic of it with the Brahma Bull tattoo on the back of his trunks. If anyone has it, please share. After looking thru what is left of my loose BCA collection. I don't have the Rock from this boxset anymore . I used the Austin from series 4 in my fig fed. Until i got the one that came in the two pack with Bossman. Then i used the the series 4 one as a new wrestler called Mr. Dallas. (at the time i thought it was a good name)

1. Series 1...I remember how excited I was seeing these at Toys R Us for the first time. I didn't know they were making them, I don't remember any mention of the on WWF programming or in the magazine. It was a great series of Superstars to kick off the line with.
2. Series 3...I loved the line up for this set as well. Bulldog, Sid, Mankind, and Ahmed were great, I just wish the Shawn and Bret would have been repaints instead of rereleases of series 1.
3. Series 2 ...With the addition of Owen Hart, Vader, and Warrior this set was one that I was looking forward to as well. I liked the Shawn repaint in this set better than series 1, but prefer the black on pink Bret from series 1 over the pink on black from this set.
4. Series 6... New molds for Owen Hart, HHH, and Marc Mero, and the debut of Mark Henry makes this set a good one. I wasn't fond of the Jeff Jarrett or Steve Blackman figures. However this Steve Blackman could do a great flying clothesline.
5. Series 4...It was great to get Steve Austin, Jerry Lawler, Farooq, and HHH debuting in this set. (Although I really didn't like this HHH figure.) The Vader rerelease didn't excite me, however a second chance at a great figure is always a good thing. I didn't get Bradshaw till many years later, so i don't have much of an opinion on him.
6. Series 7...Edge, XPAC, Val, and an updated Undertaker; what more could we ask for?
7. Series 5...This set was ok, I liked the Shamrock, Rock, and Flash figures in this set. The Savio figure wasn't really playable, although I tried many times. This set also gave a second chance to get Austin and Sid, both great figures.
8. Series 9...This set was ok, however I didn't really enjoy playing with most of the figures in this set. The Gangrel and Christian figure's legs didn't move to well and the Big Show was cool but wasn't easy to use with the other BCA's.
9. Series 8...I didn't really like this set. Kane and Shamrock were the ones that saved this set.
I noticed around the time of series 7, 8, and 9, I was more interested in the other sets coming out. I personally think that the Fully Loaded, Break Down, and Deadly Games sets were better.
Let me know what you guys think.

1. Series 4. Austin, Hunter, Lawler, Faarooq, Bradshaw, and FINALLY I get Vader. I think as a kid, this was one of the few sets I got everyone from. I loved every figure from the line so much, too. It really made my Christmas that year.
2. Series 2 - My actual introduction to BCAs. My friend's parents got him Owen Hart and Vader, and I flipped out. Such cool new figures that moved!! That day, I went with my parents to Meijers, where they had part of series 1 and most of series 2. I got Owen Hart and Goldust and my mom got Bret Hart and stashed him back for Christmas. Owen had one of the best likenesses in the whole line. I was so upset when I found out my friend busted up Vader out of boredom.
3. Series 9. I was a HUGE Gangrel mark, so Gangrel finally getting a figure was awesome to me. And Christian too! I loved McMahon's ring gear debut. I passed on Big Show because I already had a WCW The Giant that I was happy with.
4. Series 3. Mankind! Finally a Mankind! Too bad I could never find him. Finally got Shawn too with this series.
5. Series 1. Because I got into the line late, I missed the key parts of series 1, Shawn, Diesel, and Razor.
6. Series 6. Basically unplayable Jeff Jarrett & Steve Blackman figures and new molds for Mero, HHH, and Owen, plus the goofy arm posed Mark Henry.. not my favorite set at all..
7. Series 7: Ranked so low for one reason only.. Dr Death! The ultimate shelf warmer! How on earth could a figure warm shelves so badly in the peak of wrestling popularity? Undertaker was sweet here, but he, Edge, and Doc were the only ones I ever got.
8. Series 5. Hated Flash Funk's gimmick, Sid & Austin repaints/re-releases, and Shamrock/Rock. Blah.
9. Series 8. Shawn & Shane not being ring gear killed the set for me. Bossman was cool, but I could never find him. Shamrock's repaint was mediocre, and I wasn't digging Kane & Rock in yet another set

Wow, it seems to be an occurring thing here with everyone putting Series 8 as the final on the list of figures. I guess it really was the worst series of them all. And I agree totally about the Fully Loaded, Break Down and Deadly Games series. They seemed to have the star power that the regular basic line was missing out on in series 8 and 9. Considering in series 9 you could get Gangrel, Christian and Hardcore Holly in the other series that were being released with better guys and better accessories at the time.

The Superstars series was always the central focus of Jakks Pacific throughout the BCA era, but I do think that it became a tad less important with the appearance of Series 8. There were only so many spots to be given out to new wrestlers (no more than four debut figures-per-series after Series 4), so it became more convenient to introduce them elsewhere and build up the brand with multiple worthwhile series to collect.
Not including 2-packs or boxed sets, these are all of the figures to debut in non-Superstars singles series:
Al Snow Blue Blazer Brian Pillman Cameraman (if you want to include him, from the GG set) Droz Dude Love Honky Tonk Man Jacqueline Jim "JR" Ross Jim Cornette Kane Referee Sgt. Slaughter Skull Sunny Taka Michinoku Test The Godfather The Patriot Vince McMahon Yokozuna
It's not a whole lot, but still a significant amount of figures which just goes to show how diverse Jakks was from 1997 onward.
Now, if only there had been some sort of closure to the line with a tenth and final Superstars series. It never went any further than discussions, but I've always wondered why it has never been regarded in the same breath as the Orange Card series for Hasbro WWF collectors.

the Fully Loaded, Break Down and Deadly Games series were appealing to me because they came with weapons and accessories.

I may get heel heat for this but I have to say it... wouldn't it have been ironic if the Droz figure came with the wheelchair accessory??

It would have been unbelievably ironic if there had been figures included with the Grapple Gear packs and Droz just happened to come with a wheelchair before his accident. After the accident? That would have been really tasteless and the WWF surely would be sued for it. It would have made the outrage over Al Snow's "Head" seem like petty ignorance (oh wait ).

Well, Blue Blazer's figure was part of a series labeled "Don't Trust Anybody."
I think that speaks for itself.

What a sweet box set would be Droz, D'Lo and the wheel chair accessory. Then the people at Jakks could burn in hell after it was released.

While Superstars series 8 and 9 were giving us Shawn and Shane in their suits, Fully Loaded was giving us great repaints on HHH and Billy Gunn and our first Al Snow figure. The Breakdown set was one of my favorite lineups. We got a great looking Austin, D-Lo, Goldust with the removable robe, Droz (one of my favorite figures of the entire line), X-Pac in a DX shirt, and Mankind (this was the first time that I saw this mold of Mankind).

1. Favorite Superstars Series figure? probably either Bret from series 1 or Shawn from series 2
2. Favorite 2 Tuff Series 2-pack (or Grudge Match/Tag Team Series, if you prefer)? Owen/Rock 2 tuff 3, ( I would have said New Age Outlaws but preferred their repaints over the ones available in 2 packs.)
3. Favorite Slammers Series figure? Patriot
4. Favorite Signature Series figure? Al Snow from series 4 or 5 (not sure which set)
5. Favorite S.T.O.M.P. Series figure? Brian Pillman
6. Favorite Boxed Set (Single figure with accessories, 3 or 4-pack)? 3 Faces of Foley
7. Favorite debut BCA figure? Droz
8. Favorite BCA Staff figure (Manager, Announcer, etc)? was really excited to get JR when I was little
9. Favorite BCA-era wrestling ring? Monster ring
10. Favorite BCA-era accessory for figures (what they wore)? championship belts, i remember being soo excited that i didnt have to use my hasbro and galoob belts anymore
11. Favorite BCA-era weapon for figures (what they fight with)? chair (gotta stick with the basics)
12. The one debut BCA figure you wish Jakks had made? Kurt Angle ( I remember seeing that prototype and thinking that they were going to continue making the line...and being disappointed when I saw the new style BCA's)
13. The one repainted BCA figure you wish Jakks had made? I'm a huge Shawn fan, and would have loved to see more repaints or new molds for him.
14. Figures (list one or as many as you can remember) that you always wanted but could never find? I remember wanting the Series 3 re-release Goldust, but only saw him once and didn't get a Goldust until the Breakdown series. I also remember really wanting the Blue Blazer, but never got one.
15. Did you like the stands that came with the BCA figures or would you have rather had actual accessories pertaining to the wrestler? I like accessories, but the stands were cool too. I used them as part of my entrance stage.
16. Favorite figure for playing purposes? tie....Mankind series 3, Bulldog series 3, and Edge in blue from the Backlash series
17. Favorite BCA carding? I like the SummerSlam carding, but thats probably cause I saw a lot of figures released on those cards.
18. Favorite BCA exclusive figure (can be individual or in a boxed set)? either Cactus Jack or the Warrior repaint
19. If Jakks had continued with either non-BCA line, Legends or Ripped and Ruthless, which would you have wanted? I didn't really care for these that much.....but a Legends BCA line would have been great.
20. Favorite all-around aspect of the BCA line (playability, likenesses, collectability, etc)? playability, I've never had soo much fun playing with wrestling figures.
21. Favorite overall figure? Shawn Michaels DTA Tour 1 and Edge Backlash

Hey chicago do you happen to have loose pics of x pac in his red attire i believe it was Break down your house or something like that series. Are you thinking ring gear or in street clothes? The BD:IYH figure is in a black DX shirt with blue jeans, but the debut X-Pac (from Superstars Series 7) was in his red wrestling attire (also available in Live Wire Series 2). I don't have loose pics of the BD:IYH figure on me right now, but here are some of his debut figure.

I was watching some old Raw's today from February and March '97 and I realized a tag team that should have gotten made and never did. Furnas & Lafon. They would have been sweet for sure to have had in the BCA era. Same with Billy and Bart Gunn. I know we got Billy as the "Bad A$$" but it would have been cool if they would have released The Smokin' Gunns too back then.
Actually, the first tag set line they should have had these teams...
The Smokin' Gunns British Bulldog & Owen Hart Godwinns Doug Furnas & Phil Lafon
then the 2nd line could have had LOD New Blackjacks Headbangers Mankind & Vader
Just a nice dream of what could have been back in the 97 year of wrestling figures.

Yeah, I mentioned Furnas and LaFon a while back but pointed out that Jakks would have released them had they lasted longer in the WWF.
It might have been too late for The Bodydonnas, but a set of them, The Smoking Gunns, Bulldog & Owen, and The Godwinns (or Furnas & LaFon) would've been a great start. If only Jakks had begun releasing 2-packs in '96 (besides the exclusives), then we might have had two or more Tag Team series like the one with LOD/Headbangers/Godwinns/New Blackjacks.

Well Furnas and Lafon where in the WWE from Nov. 96 - May 98, just in June of 97 they got in a car accident with Sid and Bob Holly, and in Fall of 97 they were competing in WWE and ECW and then they just got sent strictly to ECW to compete.
The Bodydonnas and New Rockers probably never could have been made.
Just imagine if Jakks started in 1995 the guys we could have gotten.
Men On A Mission, Allied Powers, Hakushi, Dean Douglas, 123 Kid, Marty Jannetty, Bob Backlund (in wrestler form), Fatu (making a difference) and others.
Shocking that a Jake "The Snake" Roberts figure never got made since he was in the WWE from January 96 to like February 97. A sweet 2 pack of him and Austin from the King of the Ring would have been a nice exclusive to have had.
