They do indeed, I just put them on tonight thats why the pictures arent bright but yea they look great. I still think the BCA line be just as collectible as the Hasbro's some day. They are by far and away the most fun to play with, Ive a massive Mattel elite collection and I still prefer playing with the BCA's. I hope they are someday. To me, the BCAs are much better figures than Hasbros. But that’s just my personal preference.

I just wish I had more space in my room, ive tones of BCA's all mint condition, its just my Mattel elites and MOTUC take up all the room.

mrassbillygunnLove the MOC collection. If it weren't for Mattel's Elite figure belts, I don't know if I'd still be collecting now. It's nice to have a variety of belts which can also be used for past toy lines. They're not going to be a perfect fit with BCA figures, but that shouldn't stop anyone from playing around with them. Belts like those would have been a dream come true for me when I was a kid. Now that we're closing in on two decades since BCA figures were at their peak, I think we have a pretty good idea of where they stand in terms of their overall perceived value and significance within the collecting community. Because there was so much product available at the time they were popular, BCA figures never had a chance of reaching Hasbro or LJN levels of scarcity. For many, I would imagine the Attitude Era constitutes a transitional period of collecting WWF/WWE figures. That is until the Jakks Classic Superstars line brought adult collectors out of hibernation with disposable income in tow. Looking ahead, it seems modern day Mattel WWE Elites will be where the money is at until something better comes down the pike. Depending on how long Mattel retains the license, their product might wind up becoming the standard for a new generation of collectors.

I’ve been wanting to add this picture for a long time now, but had to wait on the Hall of Fame Diesel to come out. Unfortunately my carded series 1 BCAs are a little hard to get to right now and I don’t have a loose series 1 Goldust, so the picture still isn’t as complete as I wanted it. But I think you guys get the idea. I present to you my Mattel BCA series 1 tribute Mattel has finally released each figure in basically their series 1 BCA attires ( Bret’s attire may not be the exact attire but its close) Man I love the way this looks!! Looks just like the bone crushers pictures from back in the day. A lot of memories brought back

I didnt intend on collecting them moc, I just stored them away because I had so many, Ive some more that arent pictured including the grudge match set with Luna and Sable which is very cool. I think you're spot on about the value of the BCA's and Mattel Elites being the standard for generations to come, hopefully anyway because Ive got a massive elite collection as well! Ive been visiting your website, the BCA blog quite a lot lately when I was going through my BCA collection, I was checking to see if I had that backlash X-Pac that you mentioned is rare, buts its another variation of a Backlash X-Pac that I have, Ill still keep an eye out for it though. I see the blogs havent been updated for a few years, how come you stopped? I enjoyed going through them. You should also put a picture up of your entire collection, that be cool to see.

I think that may have been when the discussion picked up in here, so I just migrated everything to this thread. It's been more fulfilling to interact with fellow collectors on this forum rather than conceive a new blog post every couple of days. I appreciate everyone who's ever viewed it or commented on it, and I certainly have no plans of doing away with it altogether, but my focus has definitely changed since I last submitted regular posts. I'll always have a need to revise my checklist (which I've been meaning to do for weeks), and if I can manage it I'd love to update everyone on the status of my collection with new pics.

Been going through my figures today thinking of maybe having some matches and been thinking of old times. Did anyone else replace certain BCA wrestlers with then current story lines so you could recreate those matches in figure form? For me the ones i remember most was TLC Hardys,Edge/Christian and Dudleys. For the Hardys I used the new black jacks (the cowboys) and as for the Dudleys I used LOD. Even adapted their moves to them too. Also used Farooq and Kurigan as APA that was awkward lol. Makes me wish we had a better Farooq even a good Bradshaw too. There was also a few times where I used Edge as Y2J but that didnt last long.
I hated the day I found out BCA was no more and they was making the TTL figures which I purely hated. Im sure I wasnt alone with that. The only time ive ever bought a wrestling figure was for the heads to make a custom BCA. Even at times finding the right fit is hard. I know theres been a few BCA releases that just wasnt the same. Hopefully one day Mattel will make a BCA retro line and make all of us very happy!

I made the Godwinn's do the 3D finisher. Phineas would flap jack the guy and Henry would do the cutter. I would call it "3G" since they were Godwinn's after all!
I made Edge wrestle more like Chris Benoit more so than Edge. The Edge BCA had such a short, stocky body that it reminded me of Benoit. Plus Benoit wore blue tights and the Edge I had was in blue.
Test and Val Venis were like my Nash and Hall. I never had Diesel or Razor back then, so Test and Val got put in their role.
Sid would do the F5 after I seen Lesnar do it. I also made Sid and X-Pac a tag team instead of Kane and X-Pac. I never cared for the Kane figures for some reason.
I ended up making Vader and Bradshaw my APA team. I had Faarooq, but I kept him with D'Lo, Kama and Henry as The Nation.
I never had Bossman until like 2000, so in 1998 I had Goldust team with Shamrock to feud with the Outlaws. Goldust sold out and joined the corporation.
But it's funny, I kind of copied what the WWE was doing, but I added my own twist of creativity to it as well. Fun times they were!

I remember using Ahmed and Farooq as a tag team. They were my answer to the Dudleys (ECW era Dudleys). They used the 3D and were the heel team that would really get the fans riled up. Farooq ended up bringing Clarence Mason in as their manager, then brought in Mark Henry and Savio Vega to join them. Around that time, Ahmed got fed up with them and began feuding with The Nation. Ahmed later formed a tag team with the Ken Shamrock figure from the Live Wire Series , basically because both of their gear was red with black accents. Lol.

WCW released a Shane Douglas figure and the head on it looked pretty damn good! I would try to get that figure and use that head.

I like the Douglas head, I think he just needs more of a neck. Candido looks great, as does Daivari.

So has anyone ever attempted a Goldberg Custom? I’m going to try to make one from a Dan Severn lower half + Stone Cold upper body not sure of series but the upper torso with Jean shorts. Same torso mold was used for the Rock. As for the head I was going to use the new retro series Goldberg. I wish I had pictures cause I feel like it could come out amazing or like hot garbage lol

I have a jakks Goldberg head, not willing to fork out the $$$ to get the mattel. I'm not sure if I want to go w WCW Goldberg or WWE.
