I don't know how much good it will do, but I reported the item for fraud. I really think everyone here should do the same. It only took 2 minutes. Let's at least try to stop this kind of crap. Agreed. Here is how I filled mine out: Report Category: Listing practices Reason for Report: Fraudulent listing activities Detailed Reason: You suspect that a listing is fraudulent Thats exactly what I did. BUT! I went 1 step further and sent him a message. Probably not worth the time but I felt compelled ha "Why are you listing this as new? It is clearly missing the title belts and Rocky's gear. It's been opened and picked apart. I and many others will be reporting this listing. Please stop trying to scam people" his response: "Hello, I had no idea anything is missing. It is sealed so I will look in to it. Thank you for letting me know. " |

Auction is down! I think my message worked! Or having multiple reports did it. I don't think eBay would reach out so quickly though. Either way, I'm glad this was pointed out. People should feel free to message sellers like that and report items more often. Look out for a fellow collector!

If anyone comes across the 1996 Survivor Series Jakks 4 pack with green Warrior MIB, I'm really trying to get my hands on it. There are a couple of green Warriors loose on eBay right now for decent...ish? prices that I haven't been able to quite justify myself, but haven't seen anything boxed yet. That one was one that the guy I bought my last two sets (the incomplete title set and Buried Alive) from seemed to be missing (he was unloading most every other early set I knew to exist). If he'd had that, I'd have easily dropped $60 on him instead of the $40 I wound up leaving him with. |

I can't seem to find them MOC with this stye shoulder pads or with the silver outline. So...what did I buy? They don't appear to be customs. The pads may be from other figures, I'm just not sure. Any help?  |

Any help? Those were released in Shotgun Saturday Night Series 1.   They were the only BCA LOD figures to come with the silver outline on their tights and black/silver shoulder pads in that style, as well as the only LOD figures to be given the Buried Alive Executioner arms (an upgrade, if I may add). |

Ugh. The LOD have recently landed on my radar, as I've been exploring the idea of picking up a pair of them in their LOD 2000 incarnations.
Of course, those boss helmets they had in the earliest onset of the gimmick were only available in the 2 Tuff series 3 set, and of course that falls well out of the range I'm willing to pay for figures I used to own.

Is it weird to want two of at least some particular figures, in order to have one to keep on card and one to open?
That feels weird to me, because it's never been something I pursued, but landing that loose Diesel to match my carded one last weekend gave me the bug.
The first Blue Blazer I landed had a bit of a yellowed bubble, so I just grabbed another to take his place, and I'll open the first.
This is new territory for me.

Fit more on the shelves It's nothing I'm looking to make a habit of. Really, I've got to cut myself off sooner rather than later. I think the trifecta of "carded/loose" would be my big 3 "never-hads", which leaves me to find a pair of Razors and call it a day. I'd still like to lock down a Yokozuna, but I don't really care if he's carded or loose. From there, I think it's one more Owen to complete the run and call it a day before things get out of hand. |

I've done it with Backlash Series 2 X-Pac, DTA Tour Series 2 Blue Blazer and Special Edition Series 3 HHH with variant head. Not to mention the many doubles of figures I already had, but much like @wormnation, I almost always open them for my predominately loose collection. If you like something, it's only natural to want more of it. Find the one that you think is worth keeping MOC and open/sell/trade the others, unless you intend on collecting all MOC then disregard what I've said.  |

I keep some things carded, just not into the 2 of each scenario. I see people do it with Neca figures a lot. I have some carded like Elite Berzerker, because its amazing. I would buy the razor/diesel Jakks 2 pack and set my loose versions with it but thats a special 2pack. But to each his own when it comes to collecting. There is no right or wrong. o what you are happy with |

my first bca bundle i obtained was the monster ring set that came in sears wishbook in 1998. it came with the rock, the undertaker, steve austin and kane. stone cold had the 'don't trust anybody' black wifebeater, and the rest were in their ring attire. it came with two of those silly catapults, a chair, a ladder, a casket, and perhaps a few other random accessories. i remember being surprised at the monster ring being exactly the same as my ljn ring. i thought the size wouldn't work out but it's actually always been the ring i've preferred for bcas since - i feel the others are too small. Me too dude!! Must be a Ontario thing, cause my mom ordered it out of the Wish Book as well. I also got another Monster Ring out of the Wish Book only it came with an Austin and a Slammers HBK figure and with the catapults too of course. ah, i think the hbk/austin one was from the year before. i guess that monster ring i got was probably actually from 99, and the hbk/austin one would be from 98 for the time lines to be right. the next year (2000) they had a sears exclusive ttl three pack that featured triple h, the rock and an exclusive edition big show. it came with the wheelbarrow. i remember i bought this twice as well. makes me wonder where the hell all those figures went.  Does anybody have any info on this thing? Im pretty sure it is the Monster Ring from the JC Penney? Sears? Macy's? booklet. Does anybody know its value or any differences between this and the normal Monster Ring? Thanks for all of the info. It refreshed my memory. It was from the wishbook. The sticker is the stock sticker. Revisiting these posts because I finally found a good pic of the WWF Raw Is War Monster Ring bundle that came with four figures and various Grapple Gear.  Turns out it was featured in the Christmas 2000 edition of Canada's Sears Wish Book catalog. Big thanks to eBay Canada seller foundonpei for uploading the photo. Another seller by the name of stubblejumpers shared a similar pic on eBay Canada. When you think about it, $59.99 isn't a bad price for those four figures and the ring, two catapults, a chair, a ladder and coffin accessories. Even though the BCA era was drawing to a close, I can imagine a lot of kids had fun with this bundle on Christmas morning. |

How mad am I that KB Toys literally had Monster Rings for $5 when I was a kid? 😂
I actually had 3 of them. My mom bought me one, I bought another and somehow I ended up with a third. Don’t have them anymore. Now I’m about to spend $80 on a MIB one 😂. I’m really shocked they’re so expensive considering they were giving them away at one point. I’ve had dreams about one for the past few months. I just have to get my hands on one.
I love how tiny the BCAs are compared to the ring lol. Can’t wait to recreate childhood memories with my little guy!

Just bought 10 more BCA figs on Ebay this week. I have a problem... Jealous! I’m still trying to find a decently priced Clarence Mason. I loved that character and the figure. I saw one at a shop but it was in the NoD four pack. I just couldn’t part with the $35 that it cost 😭 If anyone sees or has a loose Mason for sale or trade, HMU! |
