Y’all I can’t wait to get my Monster Ring next Saturday 😭. I’m literally 27 and I plan on playing with that while chucking a few Four Lokos haha. Seriously, I’m just glad to have some of my childhood back. If I had room for it, I'd be doing the same! I’m moving in May and I keep buying figures 😂. I’m sure my partner isn’t going to be thrilled with all my collections of stuff. I’m crossing my fingers that he’ll let me change the spare room to a collection room

This thread is quite the trip down memory lane. Very tempted to “scratch the itch”. Going back to my previous post regarding Steve Austin. Looking at lists and pictures, he has the Series 4 “Bad Boys” then again in Series 5. My question is, is it the same exact figure? I ask because I know for a fact Series 4 has a star on the boot. Is Series 5 like that too?
Despite being 7-8 at the time, detail was important to me. So when I finally have a Stone Cold figure but he’s got outdated stars on his boots, it drove little me nuts! I had so many Austin’s that I can’t remember if I had Series 5 or not, I just know I had Series 4 for sure.

As far as I know, and no matter the series, that Austin figure was always plagued by the outdated stars on his boots. Slammers Series 1 Austin didn't have the stars, but that figure had completely different parts, too.

My haul over the last 7 days Only need a couple of manager 2 packs to have all the 96-97 figures. With the exceptions of variants like different colored tights from different series and 2 packs

Here are some things I picked up on eBay over the past couple of weeks. Got this MOC 2 Tuff Series 3 2-Pack for a little under $12 shipped. My other loose Owen has noticeable scuffs/paint loss from not being stored properly years ago so I'm glad to have one in mint condition again. Put in an offer for these two MOC Sable figures and the seller accepted for a total of $7 shipped; a great price considering I only really wanted the Sunday Night Heat Series figure, but I'll take both for that amount. Also just received this MOC Special Edition Series 3 HHH with variant Ripped & Ruthless Series 2 HHH head. I overpaid a bit for it (came to under $17 shipped), but it's my favorite BCA figure variation; I can't get enough of it. I bought one before that had a similar issue with the ponytail not being glued down all the way, not to mention the random paint smudges, but that's a normal occurrence with this line. There's no such thing as perfection, especially when it comes to mass produced toys.

Ah, I had that Rock. I was looking at a bunch of old BCAs recently and I had the single carded release with the door. I just remember having that door. Not sure if there’s any differences. If I recall, this was the first actual Rock, not Rocky Maivia.

I’m not far from where it’s located but still it was about a 30 minute drive. Now I’m gonna wait til November 😭. I’d go next weekend but I have a lot of Halloween stuff I wanna do sooo...ugh it sucks. I’ve been thinking about that ring for a solid two weeks.

I gotta agree. The hard parts kinda make them a bit BCA-lite...lol “hard parts.” Seriously, the action moves remind me of Hasbros. They don’t really resemble signature moves and serve no playable purpose. They kinda hinder the playability. And it really blows for The Patriot and Dude Love whos only BCAs are ‘Slammers.’ They really remind me of the Stunt Action Superstars from the TTL era. How often did I use the “Slap Action” on Stephanie McMahon? Like twice in play 😂. How many times did I use that terrible chop action on Slammers Kane? None.

I don't know if I can keep this guy on display. It's a shame cause I want him and Dude Love in my 96-97 display but my OCD might not allow it

I think for display purposes, the Slammers are fine, especially ones that don't include additional joints such as Kane, the Patriot, Pillman, etc. I have a Dude Love slated to go into my display once I finish rearranging my office, and even with his weird arm, I still think it's one of the better, if not best, examples of Dude Love in figure form.
That said, I wouldn't touch Series 1 with a 40 foot pole.
Good get on that Yokozuna. Finding one of him at a price I'm willing to pay has been almost as big a thorn in my side as Razor Ramon.

I bought a s1 carded Razor for $14 shipped and Yoko carded for $20 shipped

$15 is about my limit, shipped, and even then, it had better be on card and be one of the Four Horsemen of My Evasive Youth (Blue Blazer, Diesel, Razor Ramon, and Yokozuna).

I've got two of the four down 2x over. Yokozuna, I'm not so concerned with having a duplicate to open, but damned if having a loos and a carded Diesel isn't going to leave me wanting two Razors, to boot.

I hate buying different versions of people but I think I gotta have a glow in the dark Taker just cause of its ridiculousness. If I'm gonna do BCA's, I'm gonna do them right!
I got Kane slammer in the mail today. I hate how these are half rubber and half plastic.

Thinking about it, I wonder why they felt having a debut figure of such big proportions like Kane debut as a Slammer. Anyone know how long it was between the Slammers series 2 Kane and his first non-slammer figure? I remember looking like crazy for that Kane. I initially found it in that grudge match 2 pack with Taker. Being 8 at the time I could care less about the difference between Slammers and regular BCAs, I just wanted Kane lol. I had so many Kanes. Had a few of the long sleeved one too
