Every now and then I stop into this thread to check it out. You all are doing God's work right here. Thanks. It means a lot to know that the interest is still there. It's crazy to me that this thread is almost a decade old. I'll be sharing some pics soon of BCAs I've purchased over the past few months. I'm slowly but surely chipping away at my most wanted items.

Did you guys have a particular BCA who was regularly world champion? For me it was the "Blackheart" Owen Hart BCA and he would normally feud with my boxer Marc Mero, Droz and The Patriot for the title.
Man I had such a great imagination back then. Then video games happened and it all went downhill from there lol.

I find that I was more creative with my figures because the video games were always so restricting and stuff.

Jakks BCA Slammers Series 2 HBK figure got his pants painted Khaki and I put an Edge head on there. He became my world champion more times then not. Same character I created in WM2000. Looked eerily like Test too...

Im making it my mission to finish what JAKKS started and didnt make. So I wanted to show off some of my latest customs ive been working on: Umaga Rikishi Both bodies are of Dr Death and legs for Rikishi is from a Rock figure. Bonus Too Hott Custom / Fix up I never liked the figure of Brian Christopher since it never had any play value to it. More customs to come!

When I got Slammers Series 2 Kane and the BreakDown Mankind, they basically feuded for my world title until my fed transitioned to the three-way invasion feud with the OSFTM ECW and Toybiz WCW figures before just becoming TTLs.

Always got a kick out how stupid-jacked that Brian Christopher was.

Can't remember too much about my own fed except for the records I have from back then which indicate Stone Cold was unbeatable. So, maybe a 2 Tuff Series 4 Austin? That's probably what I was using before TTL took over my collection. Did you guys have a particular BCA who was regularly world champion? I find that I was more creative with my figures because the video games were always so restricting and stuff. I will also profess my love for the Marc Mero-Droz mold. It might be my favorite of all the post-Series 6 body types. Somehow, even with the inaccuracies, it felt like it belonged just as much to Droz as it did Mero. Wow, putting those Brian Christopher-Dr. Death arms to good use! That's awesome. Scott Taylor has to be in the top five of mid-card guys who never had a BCA figure but absolutely should have. Jim Neidhart, Jake Roberts, and Chainsaw Charlie/Terry Funk especially stand out to me. I couldn't immediately think of a fifth guy I'd want in the line until I just looked back through the thread for a second, but now I realize that I'd really love a Bart Gunn to go with them.

Looking at getting a loose BCA Kane and a MOC Badd Blood set (Kane/Austin/Bearer/GITD'Taker) as I had those as a child and kept the Badd Blood set MOC. What sorta price for that set should I be looking at. I literally know nothing of the bone crunchers as it was before my time as a kid. I just remember that Kane was my first Kane figure and my nana bought me the set from a toy shop in Glasgow.

This is everything I've bought for Jakks BCA figures over the past few months. All came courtesy of eBay. I've been able to check off some of my wants that date back 10 or more years, which is always a good feeling. Error figures are a fairly recent obsession of mine. I don't anticipate buying many more, but if something catches my eye, I'll definitely entertain it. The wackier, the better. Click the spoiler tag for pics: My takeaways: -I would've had very little, if any, interest in the Legends set when I was a kid. It is what it is. To this day, I like the packaging more than the figures, so that has to count as some kind of justification, right?! -I had to go after the Raw set as soon as I saw Sid with the light colored trunks. I have another one with dark purple trunks which you could almost confuse for the Series 5 figure. It doesn't make a lick of sense for '97 Sid to have purple trunks, but I like it. -My sole purpose for getting the WrestleMania set was to have a mint version of Errortaker with Savio arms and Crush legs. I did it! Then I realized I had also stumbled on versions of HBK and HHH with the DX stickers STILL attached to their vests, and I was beyond giddy. -The best thing about the Mankind set is that the packaging is orange, a color that I think pops as good as any other for BCA boxed sets. I had a little too much fun disassembling the lamp shade (which I did not previously know could be done!) and unfortunately I broke a very small piece on it. Not my proudest moment. -Backlash X-Pac, for those that don't know, is supposed to have a different shirt design than the one I purchased. This one appears to be a holdover from the Breakdown: In Your House series. I've been drawn to this error figure for years. I believe I've seen it twice before, and now I'm glad to say that I own it. -Speaking of error figures, I think my Dude Love came off the assembly line without a coat of sealer on its left foot. Anyone ever come into contact with a mint BCA figure that feels sticky to the touch? I don't think this would classify as the same problem faced by RA/CS collectors - I'm talking just Dude's foot here. It almost seems like it never reached final processing. Someone get hold of Conal Cochran so I can make sense of all this. -When I opened up the Live Wire Rock and saw its massive Brahma Bull tattoo, I was dumbfounded. All this time, I thought it had the generic little wimpy design. If this isn't the first appearance of the full color tattoo, it's most certainly a close second (behind Signature Series 3). My favorite Rock figure using this body type is still from the Sunday Night Heat series, but I think this one also could be a close second now that I have it in hand. -I love this random release of D'Lo Brown and Mark Henry. It was featured in the same TRU exclusive series as Mankind-Al Snow and The Headbangers. What a lineup. These are exactly the same as the 2 Tuff Series 2 and Superstars Series 6 figures (respectively). Quick repaints probably should've been in order, but I suppose Jakks already had plans to release those later in Breakdown: In Your House and Live Wire Series 2 (again respectively). Not a bad choice if you want to catch up on this time from their careers. These two fight like brothers!

It looks like it's selling for north of $40 nowadays, but I think if you're patient more will pop up and the price'll drop to the $30-35 range.

For me I wasn't a huge fan of putting over top stars like The Rock, Mankind or Triple H in my fed, however Stone Cold would have been really the only one that carried the world title for any significant amount of time.
I know it's weird/corny to say but sometimes I wish I could go back in time to those days in my room as a kid and have a ton of matches with my figures again. The storylines I came up with, the setup I had with my big Sony stereo combined with the TTL entrance ramp and my WWF The Music CD's made for so much fun.
Sometimes I would barricade myself in my room on a Saturday afternoon and would have these huge tag team tournaments where I'd put all my BCA's into a huge pile, close my eyes and pick out figures in random pairs to form teams. As I knew in my head what personality that figure had, it really led to some awesome team combinations, stories and matches.

There's one on eBay UK but it's £125 and there's just no way I'd pay that.

I got Best of '97 Ahmed in the mail today. The only one I could find as a kid was that ing S.T.O.M.P. figure and even though this is about 22 years too late, it's still cool to have. It's also I think the only figure from that BO 97 set I didn't have as a kid.

I didn't do the tag teams as much, but I would pull a pile of figures out of my tub and put them behind me to do Royal Rumbles. As an adult, my imagination is pretty much shot, that or I don't have the patience for it anymore. I wish I could hop in that time machine..I'd grab my figures, set up a notepad on my Windows 98 operating system, download wrestling midi themes on my 56k modem, and use those for theme music, all while watching the Wrestlemania VHS box set with Manias 1-13 and have another Rumble in the Monster Ring!

That's awesome! My family didn't get a computer until really late so I couldn't download themes, but having a sick stereo with the official WWF The Music Vol. 1-4 was all I needed. Thankfully as I have saved every BCA I've ever owned and currently have them in storage at my parents place, if the day ever comes where I have a child hopefully I can live vicariously through them and share a few matches again. I also have a Monster Ring, the white and blue one which is still in pretty good shape. I always wanted the black and red Raw Monster Ring which my friend and neighbour had, so we would often trade figures or hang out and do big PPV's with our two rings side by side.
