Did I crunch them? Not really. Most of them didn't even crunch at all. Only time I would do it if I was just sitting or watching TV and they were there to be in my hand and I would crunch some then.
I loved the ringside collection and wish they made more of them. I have them all accept my JR is the War Tony JR. HTonk was used mainly as a commentator, Sunny managed, Cornette was a GM, Slaughter protected Vince from Stone Cold, etc.
I have always used 5 things for refs. The actual ringside ref, the earl hebner, a little baby troll with red hair, a little santa troll with white hair, and a little cave man that came with a dinosaur from the 80s lol.
As for my BCA Farooqe, his right arm busted compeltely off, I fixed it once and it came off again and it has never been fixed since. I didn't use him all that much because of this. I would have like to though.

There were several names rumored, but it sounded like there would be re-releases or repaints of Shane McMahon, the Cameraman, Jacqueline, Debra, and brand new figures for Brisco and Patterson.
Guys like Michael Cole, Michael Hayes and Kevin Kelly were thrown out there, too, but I doubt there was anything truth to those names.

I wish they did make that set, I would have loved to own a Patterson and Brisco.
I can only hope that Mattel does make them, in a two pack, in suits.

I think a 2 Tuff series pack of both of them would have sold better than singles releases.
Most of that proposed series has shelfwarmer status written all over it, but I couldn't imagine why Jakks would choose not to make Jacqueline and Debra one more time before the line ended. Again, it's probably not the best suggestion to release another Jacqueline into the wild lol, but I do know that her name was probable for a pack with Sable and/or Marc Mero (hence the Live Wire Series 2 figure in red trunks) at some point.
I believe that Jakks could have squeezed out one more Ringside Collection series before the end of '99, but a lineup of mostly re-releases and only one or two new figures sounds about right to me. Thinking about it again, Cole and Kelly stood no chance.
Now, if the Hardy Boys had been made earlier in the BCA line, I think Jakks could have used Michael Hayes for an exclusive 3-pack, but even that's pushing it.

I never really used the Honky Tonk Man that much in my fig fed. He was the Manager of a group called "Future Legends" they had a big feud with Camp Cornett.
The group Future Legends consisted of: Billy Gunn Road Dogg Justin Credible Buff Bagwell Booker T Skip of the Bodydonnas- I used his original ecw figure.(I forgot how to spell his last name.)

Even if I were to find one for $5+ in stores, I would still have to seriously consider getting it just so I could say that I bought a BCA figure in 2010 and I have a receipt for it.

She let me get one figure and I got Dude Love. I'm sure this had to be before the 3 Faces of Foley pack because I don't see why I would get another Dude if I had him already.

I had two Lawlers, one in red and black and one in blue and white.
I also had the Headbangers, but I didn't really use them as much as I wasn't really fond of them. It was just one of those packs that my parents picked for me.

Man I remember getting my first action figures. Now I have close to 1000. But my collection really started with BCA. I got Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels, The Ultimate Warrior, and The Undertaker. The funny thing is, my Uncle bought them for me, but instead of individually wrapping them, he put them in his daughters easy bake oven box. When I opened the gift I threw it to the ground and said I dont want this. LOL, my aunt opened it and said look whats inside. Man I remember Owen was the first I took out, and God that feeling was incredible. I didnt have alot of toys as a kid, but these had/have so much sentimental value. I still have most of my collection. Although mine figures do have ware and tare. I got these when I was 5 years old.

If I didn't specifically tell my mom someone I wanted that was new, she wouldn't get me any figures because she had no idea who I had and didn't have. I remember when TTLs came out, I wasn't into them at all and wasn't planning on getting any of them. My mom that year got me Billy Gunn, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Gangrel, Christian, Edge and the Tron. A week later, I got Mankind. My mom admitted she wanted to get me Mankind instead of Billy Gunn, but the only Mankind they had at K-Mart had a really messed up card and she didn't feel right giving it as a gift. I think that was the most wrestling figures I ever got for Christmas. It was also the essential end to my BCA collection.

Christmas of 1999 was probably the end of BCA for me until I started buying them again in July 2007.
Edit: Or maybe it wasn't since I seem to remember having Signature Series 6 HHH in my old collection and that was the last officially-recognized BCA series.
I still can't believe how many TTL figures I received that year along with Grapple Gear packs; I think 2 Tuff Series 5 Viscera/Undertaker might have been the only BCA figures I got, but I was all over the TTL line at first. It was difficult having to start over, but I think the added articulation and new technology with the Titantron had sold me on them.

I remember my last raw and smackdown that i used BCA figures.
I had Vince come out to start raw. Saying that it was time to start a new era in the wwf.It was time to shake things up. My last BCA match was Dude Love and Stone Cold vs Lance Storm and Shane Douglas.
The following Monday Vince said since we were going to a new era we needed a new champion. Shane Douglas was stripped of the wwf title and a tournament was held for the new wwf champion.
The final match of the tournament was Kurt Angle vs Undertaker. Half way thru the match Jeff Jarrett came thru the crowd and hit the Undertaker with his Guitar. Kurt Angle then covered the Undertaker for the win.

One of my biggest wrestling Christmas hauls was probably 1998. All of 2-Tuff-2, Superstars 6, Ringside 2, the Severn/Shamrock Grudge Match set (I think), Slammers 2 Dude/Patriot/Taka/Pillman, Signature 2 Gunn/Kane/Michaels, DTA Michaels/DOA/Vader, and some other random Best of 98's, etc. good year for me. I think there were a few random WCW figures too.

My birthday is mid January so my sister would always buy a ton of figures in December and spread it out. She's always done that because finding presents in January when nothing is stocked can be torture. Sometimes it was hard to wait that extra month to get those figures. I love them all.
My parents stopped buying figures for me midaway through TTL when they said I had too many and it became too much. They only have themselves to blame because my mother bought my first two figures of Macho Man and Hulk Hogan back in the Hasbro days for Valentines day. They then bought me a few Jakks Classics. Now my mother is back in full force by looking everytime for new stuff by Mattel. She's always calling me asking if I need so and so person. It's fun!

I've been thinking about doing another top ten list for a future blog post, and I've narrowed the topic down to one of two things - the best BCA head sculpts and/or the best BCA clothing accessories (meaning, anything that can be worn and that isn't a weapon). So, I want to know what everyone's favorite things are (doesn't have to be ten total, but try at least five-to-seven) in those two categories. Head sculpts can be any pre-Real Scan for the BCA figures, and a few examples of clothing accessories would be robes, t-shirts, caps, etc; I'm thinking belts won't count here, but you could list your favorite BCA belts, if you want.
