Does anybody ever remember the rumor of a Undertaker/Fake Undertaker 2 pack from their 1994 match back in the BCA days? I don't, but apparently a guy named Tony D from July 1997 might. He was looking for an Undertaker 2-pack back when no such thing existed. It would have been ridiculously easy for Jakks to recreate that match with a couple of repainted Superstars Series 1/Series 2 Undertaker figures. Taker vs. Mankind and Ahmed vs. Goldust would have also made for great looking MOC sets alongside Razor/Diesel, Bret/Owen, HBK/Vader and Sid/Bulldog. Those would have made some great 2 packs.

Are there any diehards out there for the WWF Bone Crunching Action figure line? Reason why I ask is because I want those of us who are to come together and start up an unofficial official thread where anything relative to the line can be discussed. There have been posts made before where people share all of their thoughts, memories, and questions about the BCA figures, but they just as soon die out and fade into obscurity on the boards. I want anyone who even has the slightest understanding of what BCA stands for to share their opinions and hopefully contribute to this thread something that others were not aware of before entering. If you have a favorite or least favorite figure/series/accessory/ring/whathaveyou or general question about any of the aforementioned things, let them be known and maybe this could turn out to be a fun thread. I just feel like there isn't enough mention of these earlier Jakks figures (granted, most collectors have moved on, but there has to be some interest remaining, right?) and I have to admit that I'm a bit envious of the Hasbro/LJN WWF collectors on the Other Brands board for their dedication to unearthing as much as possible about their favorite line. Hey guys, Today marks FIVE years since this thread began, and I just want to take the time to thank each and every one of you who contributed thus far. I know for a fact that I would not have enjoyed collecting this line nearly as much without your input. It's hard to imagine that next year will have been 20 years since BCA was born. I hope that in the months and years ahead we will continue to keep its memory alive, and I would be honored if that discussion took place in this very thread. Thank you again to all of the following contributors without whom none of this would have been possible. fallbrawl, ellisd, 3Lephant (Naptown Icon), JC Motors, Captain McKay, WCWA Online, zappa2510, SlayKnotV1, slappy, BuckDenaro7: Elite Trader, qdogg, blu3blazer, candygallows, Squared², Prophet of Ash, dgnr8, DeadManFan92, @youknowhoiam, Chip, champofakind, Cult Member BriGuy, Daniel F'n Bryan, Biff Slamkovich™, K5, @sheikybaby222, Lewscher, UNK, jakksking1, Lego Customs!, East Coast, DZ: WF Legacy, PhiliProDesigns, jcsix, Next Manufactured’s Sweater, Callum1993, Danger10, JokerFC, johnnyb, @planesflyhigh, PudgieTheSheep, billthomson1984, @mjb, benjamin, MARK-ISM, @brickandyozen, Nick Maniwa, The Dave, @sugarbear, @tbain81, maniac80, jakks1996collector, TheChamp617, figurecollector, Keck Collects, hbkbigdaddycool, mad2009, LeighD, @sportscards1234, y2josh, BoneCrunchingCustoms, Klempos™, kal, @jaimemotorcity, @avanteproject, "The Gothic Superstar" Ronin, Matt, adecw, @caltastrophy, Otto The Orange, TheRockers, @dashx, @thatguywholikesmiz, threedel, motleyspoisongun, jason1980s, poindizzle, @covingwc, martel, @stevebrule, WCM's Izzy, Richikane, ARUN, tenup, villians, @flexasaurus, @zombieapocalypse, TheXtremisT, s13driver, @HartAttvcks, hitman23, podunk, the Log, June, @abovecena619, Terrys Wrestling Figures, Wicked, Wicked, BCizzle, Fig Heel, @hobgoblin238, hbklique1, @monoxide23, zulitethegreat173, OmegaGaijin, ricky147, @odbjbg, Midnight-Metal-Master, specterkev, cyantist, @rarecollector, Kyle, killridemedley, jt, bababooey, hbkidjb1, @hamsterman, @bluesuede, awatkins25WWE, bigcougar, @heelsinc, @rebel19, lifigures, wrestlinglee, @fullmetaljacket, guster, @yakko, The Kevstaaa, Rule 30, @crimsonmask84, @dingowarrior2, blitzcraigoc, Grapple Arcade, Lord Ragnarok, @whathefreak, nytevyzon, @Chair.Shot, @lawman517, RV F'N D, Old School Collector, @thecameron81, Hitman Bono, DECAY, @zombieboy, TheBadGuyChico, bigdaddytool, JSin, N1SF, @wrestlers, @m, Liney89, MR._SOCKO, smackdown4life™, kancer, Oskanowski, gps, TeamratedCDS, @bashcrashwiley, PVA, @toastyklown, Mox, kayfabe, moogie101, Scotty Flamingo, The Hitman, RollinsFan44, jcmwwe, mutafan, bencw, The Best, Chester McFisticuffs, Roman Bellic, GoldenHulk, Kalob Black, kunswwfmark, richierich, dalahnthegreat, @clutch

Five years and still going strong!!
It just goes to show that BCAs were great. That BCAs should have never stopped in favour of TTLs. That BCAs still have a shelf life even to this day.
Much love to everyone who collects BCAs and to BCAs in general!!

BCA's are what nabbed me back into wrestling figures. When i was little i loved the LJN's and bootleg He-Man style wrestling figures.
Hasbro's came and i got a handful of them....and for whatever reason, they just never clicked with me.
Then one fateful day i cruised down the toy aisle in Walmart....and there they were. Series 1 Diesel, HBK, Razor Ramon and Goldust.
I went home w/ HBK & Diesel. 2 dudes with attitude who were probably my favorite wrestlers at the time. I went strong with BCA's till they came out w/ TTL. Much like the Hasbro era, i bought a handful of TTL figures....and ultimately that was my last hurrah in the wrestling fig collecting game.
i kinda hated the TTL's. They just seemed like a step back to me. I did end up buying one 2pack of some Jakks figures years later. I saw this Jamie Noble/Hurricane 2pack that had like ultra articulation. I thought they were great. But by then it was too late. It wasn't enough to bring me back.
Years passed. I would see Jakks Classics Superstars and pull them off the peg...giving them a thorough look over. It was almost enough to bring me back again. Never before had they released so many legends figures. But again....it was just too little too late. All i saw were bulkier TTL's.
it would take 12 years for me to return to collecting. I was on this site looking for some reference pics for a videogame and stumbled onto RSC exclusive Macho King. It was glorious. Then i did some more browsing and found elite 14 Big Boss Man. And before i knew it, i was back

BCA's are what started my addiction. I can't believe it's almost been 20 years since they debuted, I still remember the first day me and my brother were looking at the toys at Wal-Mart and found Series 1, that feeling was better than any Christmas Morning of my childhood. Just the other day I was thinking about switching from a MOC collection to a loose collection, still undecided though.

Thanks for keeping this going!
I still remember finding signature series Mankind, Goldust, and LOD, and I was hooked. These were just great figures to play with, better than anything we'd ever had to that point. Jakks switching to TTL lost me as a collector. I appreciated the CS series but never enough to make me buy one. Mattel brought me back to the game, but I'll always love me some BCA's!

Man where does the time go? I can't believe it's been 5 years and really can't believe it's been 20 years since the BCA days, without those small little rubber figures I wouldn't be the collector I am today! I'm going to bust out my collection later today and take some pictures! I'll post them tonight hopefully!!

I started going to forums (FigureZone, later AFR) while the BCA line was still active to some degree...that's crazy. I remember all the concern about the transition from BCA to TTL vaguely.
Glad that BCA still has a following. They were affordable ($5!), they were fun to collect and play with, and they covered some of the most exciting years of pro-wrestling in history. So many great childhood memories getting my Raw is War and classic WWF PPV Monster Rings out, putting on WWF Full Metal and WWF the Music Vol 2 & 3, and having crazy royal rumbles. In the later years when they'd go on to introduce the smaller rings, my friends were always wanting to use my Monster Ring. I used that thing for the longest time, and I still have it in my closet somewhere.
Also, while not an MOC collector, I loved the simplicity of the BCA packaging for the first several sets. I get so many fond memories of finding figures like that in the store. I still remember finding the Champions boxset at TRU for the first time, the Best of '97 series with Signature Series and the WM14 series together, and so many others. It was exciting early on because you never knew what came out if you didn't use the internet. Finding Flash Funk on the grand opening day of my local Walmart blew me away. It was an exciting time.

Classy post Chicago! The BCA years were the best years for me personally when it came to wrestling figures. They're what I grew up playing with, what I used to let my imagination run wild. I'm still hunting down a few final pieces to complete my collection and until then I will be enjoying this awesome thread and everything that you all have contributed to it over the years (and years to come).
