I never had more fun with any other line of figures than I did with BCA. Even today my most wanted figure is still a series 1 Bret Hart.

thanks for the mention Chicago . you guys are gonna think im crazy for remembering this but I remember the exact day I got my first bone crunchers. it was Oct 5th 1996. I walked into KB and they had all of series 1 out but I only bought Taker, Razor & Diesel. Then a few weeks later I got the rest of series 1, all of series 2 and it just went from there. One day I'm gonna display ALL my bone crunchers but for now heres a pic from late 1999 No, not at all. I actually think it's really impressive that you can remember something so specific from that long ago. I have increasingly vague memories of shopping trips during those days. What I wouldn't give to have access to fresh Superstars Series figures on the pegs at $5-6 a pop... Better yet, what wouldn't I have given to have had that BCA collection in late 1999... Man. Also, I like how my best BCA photos from back then are crappy, out-of-focus shots of Austin stunnering Kane, The Rock climbing a ladder, and Team DX posing in front of my entrance cage set-up. Meanwhile, you were busy perfecting a BCA figure display.

Meanwhile, you were busy perfecting a BCA figure display. LOL yeah I have an odd memory. I could tell you what I ate for dinner 5 years ago today but I cant tell you what I did yesterday LOL. my funniest BCA hunting stories were when series 4 came out and me and my dad went to TRU and they had Everyone but Austin. so as we're walking to the register I see a guy pushing a shopping cart with like 4 austins in it along with other BCAs and other stuff, so I followed him and he just left his cart and walked away. so I just reached in and grabbed an Austin . another time I was in TRU and it was when either series 8 or 9 came out and this guy had a stack of them in his shopping cart and I only needed like 1 or 2. so he asked me who I needed and I said who (don't remember that LOL) and he says ok $10 each. so I say ok ill pay you when we go outside and he says no $10 each now. I was like **** you, you didn't even buy them yet! so as hes telling me this an Employee walked by and he went and told a manager. manager come over and tells the guy he has to leave the store cause he was trying to sell me something that he didn't pay for yet. so the guy leaves, I grab who I need and go pay. while I was outside he was in a car with someone else and he sent them in to buy what was left which I believe was 2 full sets and part of a set. turns out that the guy had a table at a card & comic show here in NJ and was charging $15-20 per BCA

Are there any diehards out there for the WWF Bone Crunching Action figure line? Reason why I ask is because I want those of us who are to come together and start up an unofficial official thread where anything relative to the line can be discussed. There have been posts made before where people share all of their thoughts, memories, and questions about the BCA figures, but they just as soon die out and fade into obscurity on the board9s. I want anyone who even has the slightest understanding of what BCA stands for to share their opinions and hopefully contribute to this thread something that others were not aware of before entering. If you have a favorite or least favorite figure/series/accessory/ring/whathaveyou or general question about any of the aforementioned things, let them be known and maybe this could turn out to be a fun thread. I just feel like there isn't enough mention of these earlier Jakks figures (granted, most collectors have moved on, but there has to be some interest remaining, right?) and I have to admit that I'm a bit envious of the Hasbro/LJN WWF collectors on the Other Brands board for their dedication to unearthing as much as possible about their favorite line. Hey guys, Today marks FIVE years since this thread began, and I just want to take the time to thank each and every one of you who contributed thus far. I know for a fact that I would not have enjoyed collecting this line nearly as much without your input. It's hard to imagine that next year will have been 20 years since BCA was born. I hope that in the months and years ahead we will continue to keep its memory alive, and I would be honored if that discussion took place in this very thread. Thank you again to all of the following contributors without whom none of this would have been possible. fallbrawl, ellisd, 3Lephant (Naptown Icon), JC Motors, Captain McKay, WCWA Online, zappa2510, SlayKnotV1, slappy, BuckDenaro7: Elite Trader, qdogg, blu3blazer, candygallows, Squared², Prophet of Ash, dgnr8, DeadManFan92, @youknowhoiam, Chip, champofakind, Cult Member BriGuy, Daniel F'n Bryan, Biff Slamkovich™, K5, @sheikybaby222, Lewscher, UNK, jakksking1, Lego Customs!, East Coast, DZ: WF Legacy, PhiliProDesigns, jcsix, Next Manufactured’s Sweater, Callum1993, Danger10, JokerFC, johnnyb, @planesflyhigh, PudgieTheSheep, billthomson1984, @mjb, benjamin, MARK-ISM, @brickandyozen, Nick Maniwa, The Dave, @sugarbear, @tbain81, maniac80, jakks1996collector, TheChamp617, figurecollector, Keck Collects, hbkbigdaddycool, mad2009, LeighD, @sportscards1234, y2josh, BoneCrunchingCustoms, Klempos™, kal, @jaimemotorcity, @avanteproject, "The Gothic Superstar" Ronin, Matt, adecw, @caltastrophy, Otto The Orange, TheRockers, @dashx, @thatguywholikesmiz, threedel, motleyspoisongun, jason1980s, poindizzle, @covingwc, martel, @stevebrule, WCM's Izzy, Richikane, ARUN, tenup, villians, @flexasaurus, @zombieapocalypse, TheXtremisT, s13driver, @HartAttvcks, hitman23, podunk, the Log, June, @abovecena619, Terrys Wrestling Figures, Wicked, Wicked, BCizzle, Fig Heel, @hobgoblin238, hbklique1, @monoxide23, zulitethegreat173, OmegaGaijin, ricky147, @odbjbg, Midnight-Metal-Master, specterkev, cyantist, @rarecollector, Kyle, killridemedley, jt, bababooey, hbkidjb1, @hamsterman, @bluesuede, awatkins25WWE, bigcougar, @heelsinc, @rebel19, lifigures, wrestlinglee, @fullmetaljacket, guster, @yakko, The Kevstaaa, Rule 30, @crimsonmask84, @dingowarrior2, blitzcraigoc, Grapple Arcade, Lord Ragnarok, @whathefreak, nytevyzon, @Chair.Shot, @lawman517, RV F'N D, Old School Collector, @thecameron81, Hitman Bono, DECAY, @zombieboy, TheBadGuyChico, bigdaddytool, JSin, N1SF, @wrestlers, @m, Liney89, MR._SOCKO, smackdown4life™, kancer, Oskanowski, gps, TeamratedCDS, @bashcrashwiley, PVA, @toastyklown, Mox, kayfabe, moogie101, Scotty Flamingo, The Hitman, RollinsFan44, jcmwwe, mutafan, bencw, The Best, Chester McFisticuffs, Roman Bellic, GoldenHulk, Kalob Black, kunswwfmark, richierich, dalahnthegreat, @clutch I remember when this thread first started! Found 'em. No approximate dates here, though. My estimation is these photos are from mid-to-late 1999. The Rock (Superstars Series 8) and Stone Cold (2 Tuff Series 4) weren't released until June 1999, and X-Pac (Fully Loaded Series 2) wasn't available until July 1999. Kane (2 Tuff Series 3/Fully Loaded Series 1) and Road Dogg (Fully Loaded Series 1) came out earlier that year in February. An entrance so nice, I had to scan it twice.

I was wondering, can the BCA HonkeyTonk Man sit down? I need another announcer for my figure federation and I like to use BCA's so they fit well with my BCA Jim Ross.

I'll share pics later when my battery's charged, but Honky Tonk Man does not make for a good commentator figure. He requires too much leg room if you try to place him in a proper seating position. That's not to say it isn't possible, because room can be made for two figures behind the Grapple Gear announce table, but it's not the same as using two Jim Ross figures with built in knee articulation. Edit: By the way, I would recommend either Superstars Series 8 Commissioner Michaels or Shane McMahon if you haven't got them. Both have restricted leg movement, but at least the legs don't bend outward like Honky's do.

I found this graded Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior figure on eBay and didn't think much of it until I saw the last picture. Credit: eBay user nu-media-ukFor those unaware of the significance of the last picture, here is a recap of our previous discussion in this thread regarding a possible BCA Warrior variant: Did I just stumble upon a BCA Series 2 Warrior Variant?? What does the rest of the figure look like? Are any of the other Warrior logos in all white (besides the boots)? Also, does it appear like it could have been customized (painted over, had the paint removed, etc.)? I would have to see more than just one case of it before I'd consider it a true variant rather than a custom or factory error figure. I don't think I've ever seen one like this, but I would most likely side with it being a factory error of some sort. Now I do know that there was a variation or factory error involving the facepaint. I've seen this one on some of mine and my brothers figures. Our parents ordered all of series 2 for each of us out of some catalog, and then we also got a few extras for Christmas that year. Warrior was one of them that we got extra, so we opened one and each kept one in package, and I remember the facepaint being slightly different. It was subtle, but the colors in the facepaint seemed to be darker shades on the 2nd Warriors we got. I would probably considered it a factory error or maybe just a slight change in how they painted it later in the run, more than an actual variant. The timing of the season couldn't be more perfect, because I just had the strangest thing happen to me. I was looking at various BCA figures from my loose collection and the thought crossed my mind that "I didn't remember this Warrior figure having an all-white logo on the back of its trunks". Instantly, I thought of Jack's post from two years ago. I proceeded to check the other loose Superstars Series 2 Warrior figure in my collection and discovered that I, too, had possibly been bit by the variant bug and never even knew it. It seems more and more likely that this figure is a legitimate variant, or at the very least we have evidence of a change made to a later run of Series 2 Warrior figures (as ellisd said). The most noticeable differences for me are the head (face paint colors are darker and crisper, and for some reason the skin tone and hair appears lighter on mine) and the trunks ( logo is smaller on the front, and obviously all-white on the back). The wrist bands and knee pads have the usual alternately sloppy Jakks painting, so it's tough to say whether or not the color/edging is intentionally different or not. I think the boots may be a darker shade of red, but not by much. So, unless 3Lephant (Naptown Icon) sold his white logo Warrior to a collector in the UK, I guess this marks the third time it's been spotted. Pretty cool, eh?

How far back do they go? Would you keep records/results in detail? Can you recall any favorite feuds/matches/moments from your playing days? as you all know I LOVE me some BCAs.....I still cant believe the only pink black Owen & Patriot I have are from BCA. Somewhere, there are Series 7 Bend-Ems figures of Owen Hart and The Patriot cursing JokerFC's name for his obvious BCA bias.
