I'm getting hit with the customizing bug. Problem was, I wasn't ever any good. What are some easy recipes you guys can think of for repaints or simple head changes with repaints, etc? I already started on an all white version of Jeff Jarrett. Easiest custom on the planet :-D

Name a wrestler and we'll see what we can muster up. If you wanted, you could always leave Superstars Series 6 'Double J' Jeff Jarrett as-is and repaint Razor a baby blue color to re-enact this moment. "This moment" of course being a non-title match on Monday Night RAW from April 25, 1994 (Episode #60). Thanks to the search option on WWE Network, I was finally able to track down a reference for Jarrett's debut BCA figure.

Oh man, 205 pages to read through... this could take a while.
I have some memories of the BCA line to share.
I started collecting when the first line of figures came out in October 1996. On a random trip to Toys R Us, I saw them for the first time and picked up Goldust and Shawn Michaels. After having bought most of the Bend 'Em line and all of the available WCW San Francisco Toymakers line, it was refreshing to finally have wrestling ACTION FIGURES.
That Christmas, my aunt and uncle got me Razor Ramon, Undertaker, Diesel, Owen Hart, and a boxed set featuring Michaels and Goldust, as well as Bret Hart and The Ultimate Warrior. What was cool about this is I had no clue Warrior or Owen even had figures yet, so this was a true Christmas surprise. Then, three days later on my birthday, my mom got me the Monster Ring, which was cool on it's own, but the box revealed the lineup for series 3, which was even better.
Around Easter, the third series came out and I grabbed Mankind and Ahmed Johnson at KB Toys. My Nana and my uncle both got me Sycho Sid, so my uncle had to return his to Walmart for The British Bulldog, the only figure I didn't have(outside of Vader, but I had his WCW figure).
After this, there were months of no figures showing up in stores, but WWF Magazine revealed the upcoming figures, which got me more excited. A random trip to Ames(now I'm really dating myself, but whatever) saw a lonely Vader figure which I foolishly didn't buy, as back then, having the WCW figure was good enough for me. But this was the series 4 Vader, which meant... NEW FIGURES WERE IN STORES! Sadly, Vader was the only one I ever saw, but on a trip to K-Mart that fall, I saw the series 5 Sycho Sid figure and Ringside Collection Vince McMahon, which meant more new figures were out.
Finally, Christmas Eve arrived and my uncle gave me Hunter Hearst Helmsley. That night, I did countless Helmsley/Goldust and Helmsley/Mankind falls-count-anywhere matches. The next day, I received my haul at my Nana's house: Faarooq, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Headbangers, The Legion of Doom, The Godwinns, and The New Blackjacks. And then for my birthday, the Champions boxset of Undertaker(who I needed to replace, the old one having lost a leg), Rocky Maivia, and Owen and Bulldog.
Another random trip to KB the following month saw yet another surprise: a box set of Ahmed Johnson, Marc Mero, and... YOKOZUNA. I wanted that set so bad. I saved for a month until we went back to the mall. After being sick the night before and having to convince my mom I was OK, we went to KB and... they didn't have the set. I was bummed, but at Bradlee's(again, dating myself...), I got Savio Vega, Jerry Lawler, Flash Funk, and Justin Hawk Bradshaw.
I collected more figures over the summer, including Sable, Crush, The Sultan and Bob Backlund, and others I'm probably forgetting. My uncle also got me the Helmsley/Chyna 2Tuff set and some of the STOMP figures(Shamrock, Ahmed, Pillman, and Crush, I believe). And going to the mall revealed more upcoming figures to get me excited for Christmas.
In October, another random trip to KB would yield surprising success, as after months of heartbreak and disappointment... I got Yokozuna's figure! No, it wasn't the box set, it was a Special Edition figure with the white ring attire, but I was still happy to be able to buy it. For Christmas that year, I got Steve Blackman, Jeff Jarrett, The New Age Outlaws(getting my strict Grammy and Grampy to get me "BA Billy Gunn" was awesome), Dude Love, and Taka Michinoku.
I would have two more successful large hauls after this. One in January 99 that yielded D'Lo Brown and Kama, Mark Henry, Marc Mero, and Dan Severn, then one in July that resulted in me getting Mankind/The Rock, Billy Gunn/Val Venis, and Edge. Somewhere in between, I also got Kane, Droz, Al Snow, Christian, and Bob Holly. And then...
Well, that was around the time that Jakks phased out BCA in favor of TTL, which comprised my Christmas haul that year. For a while, I continued to mix and match figures, until I got enough TTLs to simply switch over completely. But I had lots of fun with the BCAs. I remember having my own little fed with the figures from the first three lines, and then series 4 and 5 and the tag teams when I got them. When I finally had belts for them, I was in heaven.
Some of my favorite match memories include: Mankind vs. Undertaker, featuring run-in's from Goldust, Vader, Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Sycho Sid; Headbangers vs. Godwinns vs. LOD vs. New Blackjacks, just a fun brawl, ending with Hawk pinning Mosh; Royal Rumble match I did on that first Christmas, with Michaels, Bret, Razor, Diesel, Owen, Warrior, Goldust, Vader, and Johnny B Badd; I had these giant King Kong and Godzilla dolls that were about the same scale as the BCAs and the WCW ones, so I'd just throw them in. Sometimes, King Kong would be Mongo or Meng, and Godzilla would be The Barbarian in WCW, in WWF I never really established who they were, they'd just show up in matches from time to time. I had Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music on Godzilla once, knocking him out of the ring.
Yeah, good times were had with those figures. Good times.

Welcome to the thread, @wordlifeecw! That was one hell of a descriptive post. I felt like I was living vicariously through you for a quick minute. Thank you for putting that amount of thought into your first post. It perfectly encapsulates all that this thread is about.

Man, those figures were my awkward pre-teen years, not something I can easily forget.

Those customs are amazing. I never tried to do any when I was into BCA's but seeing what's possible I wish I did.

I love those because they have the resemble of pre-real scan BCA (I'm a sucker for none real scan BCA/TTL).

I never made any BCA customs. I had two TTL customs when I was growing up. I had a Goodfather (Rock TTL arms on a Steven Richards torso and BCA head) and a TTL Ric Flair I put together from a couple of different extra figures I had.
I never could find a TTL Ric Flair in wrestling tights so I finally made one. Although with Toybiz and OSTM ECW figures everything was pretty much in scale for me so I never really desired to have customs of BCA's I always just bought the superstar I wanted to have from one of the other companies. Goldberg, Taz, were easily two of my favriotes to play with together with my BCA's. I got New Jack and the Dudley's during the TTL era, which I just played with along with my TTL's too.

Recently threw this together, its nothing special, I just threw it together from some scrap parts that I had. I know the skintones don't really match but its the closest I had in my BCA scrap parts.

For what it's worth, I like it and think you did a tremendous job in piecing together leftover parts. Sure, it may not be the most proportionally accurate Taz custom that I've ever seen, but "accuracy" isn't often associated with this line anyway, so who cares? How much work was involved with the arms? I know it sounds weird, but I really like how they glisten. Definitely the closest of all the parts to matching Taz's real skin tone.

Thanks Chicago: The glistening of the arms is a result of the sealer that I use. Its a matte sealer but since the arms and legs are a rubbery texture, it ends up shiny almost everytime.

I found this graded Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior figure on eBay and didn't think much of it until I saw the last picture. Credit: eBay user nu-media-ukFor those unaware of the significance of the last picture, here is a recap of our previous discussion in this thread regarding a possible BCA Warrior variant: Did I just stumble upon a BCA Series 2 Warrior Variant?? The timing of the season couldn't be more perfect, because I just had the strangest thing happen to me. I was looking at various BCA figures from my loose collection and the thought crossed my mind that "I didn't remember this Warrior figure having an all-white logo on the back of its trunks". Instantly, I thought of Jack's post from two years ago. I proceeded to check the other loose Superstars Series 2 Warrior figure in my collection and discovered that I, too, had possibly been bit by the variant bug and never even knew it. It seems more and more likely that this figure is a legitimate variant, or at the very least we have evidence of a change made to a later run of Series 2 Warrior figures (as ellisd said). The most noticeable differences for me are the head (face paint colors are darker and crisper, and for some reason the skin tone and hair appears lighter on mine) and the trunks ( logo is smaller on the front, and obviously all-white on the back). The wrist bands and knee pads have the usual alternately sloppy Jakks painting, so it's tough to say whether or not the color/edging is intentionally different or not. I think the boots may be a darker shade of red, but not by much. So, unless 3Lephant (Naptown Icon) sold his white logo Warrior to a collector in the UK, I guess this marks the third time it's been spotted. Pretty cool, eh? Make that four! Credit: eBay user honornycI just came across images of this one for sale on eBay and I had to post it right away. Please do check your loose Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior figures if you haven't yet, because you might just be sitting on the next "White Logo Warrior" to be found!

This is so great! I'm glad after all these years we still have things to confirm, and on one of the most sought after figures nonetheless! Good find!

For those who had feds back in the day, who main evented your shows? For me it was always Patriot vs Bret Hart for the Winged Eagle Title. Mankind (Series 3 version) would often make run-ins. Those were the days...
