i just thought it was atrocious that figures as crappy as TTL were what killed BCA off, i thought TTL were absoulute trash with the exception on the unforgiven undertaker I fully agree, I hated TTL figures. They looked awful and for some reason I just found difficult to play with. Now I did start collecting them after they got the real scan faces, but playing with them was still not an option. Why can't we all just get along? BCA with OSFT WCW Scott Steiner, S.T.O.M.P., and Legends of Pro Wrestling figures - BCA with TTL Matt Hardy - BCA with Slammers Series 1 Faarooq and Toy Biz WCW "Mean" Gene Okerlund - BCA Mankind with Slammers, Thumb Wrestlers, Brawl-4-All, and TTL figures - BCA with S.T.O.M.P. Series 3 Undertaker, OSFT WCW, and Toy Biz WCW figures - New BCA Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho with TTL Undertaker and RA figures - New BCA Billy Gunn with TTL, RA, and Toy Biz WCW figures - New BCA with OSFT WCW Sting figure, TTL, and RA figures - New BCA with Old BCA, TTL, R3, and RA figures - New BCA Jeff Hardy with RA Matt Hardy - New BCA Billy Gunn with Backlash Series 1 Big Boss Man, R3, and RA figures - New BCA with Hasbro Ultimate Warrior, Galoob WCW, and Final Count/Finishing Moves figures - New BCA D-Von Dudley with TTL and RA figures - New BCA Chris Benoit with OSFT ECW Justin Credible - New and Old BCA figures with Slammers, S.T.O.M.P., and Maximum Sweat figures -

man, i remember back in the day when i sold that bca green warrior loose for $75, those were the days lol You could probably get $15 for it loose and in near mint condition if you were to sell that figure today. I wouldn't expect to net more than $10 for your average BCA Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior figure, though. Unless of course it looks like this, then I might have to chip in a little more for a loose BCA eBay auction. These aren't my pics, but I wish they were because then it would mean I own the CS12 duster. I want to try this so bad.

Reading through a few pages of this thread brings back sooooo many memories. I played with my BCAs until the limbs were floppy on several of them. I used to use K'nex and build entire arenas for my BCA figs. Rings, entrances, cages, guardrails, caskets, scaffolds for ladder matches... you name it, I made it.
I still have all of them in an old tub (or two, or three..) somewhere in a closet in my house.
I often sit and wonder what it would have been like if Jakks had just stuck to the original BCA style instead of introducing the TTL and R3 and all the others styles, and had just stuck to making BCAs to this day. Imagine the rosters we could have.
Good stuff. Ah, the good old days.

Imagine the rosters we could have. Good stuff. Ah, the good old days. Nice to see you in here, ZT. How are you? If Jakks had stuck to the original BCA style, I think we would have seen TTL chips and Real Scan technology implemented in those molds by the summer of 2000. I don't know where the added points of articulation factor into this hypothetical scenario, but Jakks proved they were capable of knee (Ringside Collection Series 2 Jim Ross) and elbow (Superstars Series 8 Shane McMahon and Commissioner Michaels) articulation at the very least before TTL took over. Their vision for a revival of Bone Crunching Action figures in 2001 proved that they were ready to try something new, so I doubt the original BCA sculpts ever stood a chance beyond the KB/Family Dollar Exclusive Backlash figures of 2000-01. However, Jakks did throw together these original BCA prototypes at Toy Fair 2001 for old times sake. Credit: Ringside Collectibles for the pics.Check out this post on my BCA figure blog for more pics of the new BCA style prototypes shown at Toy Fair 2001.

While I was browsing eBay earlier today, I couldn't resist asking a few questions about this particular BCA Superstars 2-pack. Obviously, the card is significantly different from what we're used to seeing here in the United States, and that's because it was exclusive to toy stores in Canada. That much is clear if you've ever searched for items that include Canadian sellers on eBay. You're bound to run into a card like this at some point, especially for BCA figures, but what I've always wondered is what exactly does the fine print say? You know, the small text above the $14.99 price tag and all that you see printed on the back left corner? I contacted a seller about this on eBay who goes by the username mmacollectibles and this was their response: The front/top right reads:WARNING:Choking Hazard - Small parts Not for children under 3 yearsDanger - risque de suffocation - contient des petites peces ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 3 ans3736-607376-7 KMC14.99BACK:Imported by/Importe ParKMC 8925 Torbram RoadBrampton, Ontario L6T 4G1CHINAPretty cool, eh?

My Bret/Owen 2 pack has no art on the back of the carding either. Now I know why! Thanks!
Also I'm going to have to try that jacket with warrior. Maybe try brets defining moments jacket with a bca as well and see how that goes?

Here's my Bret/Owen set from before it was opened: You'll know if you have the variant french card because, well, everything is in french , but also because the barcode is missing from the back right corner. Sorry for the confusion.

Got these at a yard sale today. Was $2 for all 4. I'll be honest, Arn Anderson and the white OSFTM RVD are the highlights for me. But this is also the first time I've ever owned Ahmed in addition to those 2

Series 1 figure a part of the BCA line, Ahmed Johnson still had five BCA figures in all. 1. I always loved that Ahmed fig. His arms were perfectly placed for the Pearl River Plunge.
Also, that King of the Iron Rungs set brings back memories. That original ladder....
Not the best design, but it was a ladder, and I was a ladder match mark (still am) so I used the hell out of those things.

Hey guys! My first post here. I was born in '93 and from a very early age i fell in love with pro wrestling. And I definitely loved my figures. I'll never forget that christmas morning where i received Dude Love, Fully Loaded Series 1 Triple H, and STOMP 2 Mosh. the BCA figures and the video games where my main lifeline to the WWF. I wasn't allowed to watch WWF at the time (Something being remedied now that i have WWE Network). I but I still loved it.
I had many figures over the years. A ton of BCAs, some WCW toy biz and also a lot of the jakks figures from 2003 on (which included more Classic Superstars than anything). I played with a ton of different wrestling figs. but the BCA's were always favorites of mine and i would always come back to them. to me they were miles better than the others for being able to position for powerbombs, DDTs, and different slams.
Recently I bought some loose figs from my favorite record/comic/toy store and it re-sparked my nostalgia for them. luckily I still have quite a bit of them. still have to find the rest. iv been perusing Chicago's BCA Blog and goin thru page after page in this forum and thought id join!
I've already pick up some more additions! I got Brian Pillman Slammers 2 and Series 5 austin MOC (which i never owned before!) for 5$ each. also A Vinnie mac Ringside Series 1 that I opened because the card was pretty ragged anyway. I also bought a loose Yokozuna off ebay the other day! I was so surprised because I never knew he existed in BCA form. that is a freakin great figure man.

Yeah, they don't look like much now, but those original ladder and chair accessories paved the way for all of the Grapple Gear that came later. Not to mention, the influx of BCA boxed sets in the fall of 1997 was something to behold what with those two featuring Ahmed and the first Championship Title Belt set, Buried Alive, Raw Is War, and the Nation of Domination 4-pack. All six came out within a month or two of each other. Hey guys! My first post here. I was born in '93 and from a very early age i fell in love with pro wrestling. And I definitely loved my figures. Chicago when Ultimate Warrior Died, did the price of his BCA figure skyrocket on eBay?

Chicago when Ultimate Warrior Died, did the price of his BCA figure skyrocket on eBay? It did, but the price has since dropped. I don't recall seeing too many bids over $50, but there definitely were some in the $45-60 range. Had there been any signed Series 2 figures for sale, I'm sure they could have cracked $65+ in the day or two after his death. Now, you might be looking at $25 tops for a MOC BCA Warrior figure, and maybe $55+ for one that's been autographed.
