Whenever a wrestler dies I feel like seller's immediately try to cash-in on their death. It happened the most when Savage passed -- all of a sudden his LJN and Hasbro figures were raking in a ton of money .... now they've seemed to normalize again.
When Warrior died, I know the limited edition Jakks figures that he signed went for crazy prices on eBay.

Chicago when Ultimate Warrior Died, did the price of his BCA figure skyrocket on eBay? It did, but the price has since dropped. I don't recall seeing too many bids over $50, but there definitely were some in the $45-60 range. Had there been any signed Series 2 figures for sale, I'm sure they could have cracked $65+ in the day or two after his death. Now, you might be looking at $25 tops for a MOC BCA Warrior figure, and maybe $55+ for one that's been autographed. Is there any BCA's that have gone for higher prices than that Warrior was going for?

Superstars Series 1 Razor Ramon Superstars Series 1 Diesel Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior Survivor Series 4-pack (Toys"R"Us Exclusive) Superstars Series Razor/Diesel 2-pack (1 of 10,000) (Puzzle Zoo/Hills Exclusive) Superstars Series Bret/Owen 2-pack (1 of 12,000) (KB Toys Exclusive) Buried Alive 4-pack (Target Exclusive) DTA Tour Series 2 Blue Blazer Those eight items are among the most consistently valuable in all of the BCA line. The difficult part is in selecting two others to join that group so that we can make a perfect "Top 10 Most Valuable BCA Figure Releases" list. Which BCA figures/packs would you guys nominate for the most valuable of all time?

Which BCA figures/packs would you guys nominate for the most valuable of all time? From what I've seen 1996 Survivor Series Set (I'd really love to have that green/orange Warrior figure) and the Buried alive set seem to go for pretty good amounts also thanks for the greetings guys!

any one looking to cash in on BCA should grab as many Dr. Death and Jacquelines as possible. they're worth a ton! And all of the Austin variants are license to print money on eBay reselling

The Austin variants I would disagree with also, I would think paperweights would be more relatively true with that ebay reference.

hey I was just thinking about this. does anybody have info why jakks didnt produce the Chainsaw Charlie figure? I'm pretty sure its the only exclusive Jakks mini figure isnt it? which would mean it HAD to have been planned at some point right? (possibly with Cactus Jack. it'd make sense since he and Funk were a hot tag team leading up to Wrestlemania 14 and THAT figure did get produced).
I can only figure Jakks was timid to produce a figure for a character that was basically inspired by The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, wearing a stocking on his head carrying a chainsaw. It would make moms all over fear their children will murder people because of a toy of a pro wrestler. they would complain to walmart oh no! (I know this would happen when they produced the Al Snow figure haha)
now that i think about it.... its weird how chainsaws became an accessory in their line. It came with Savio Vega (shotgun saturday night).... and that same mold would be used some 10 or so years later for the Classic Superstars Chainsaw charlie figure.. tho it could just be coincidence

It came with Savio Vega (shotgun saturday night).... and that same mold would be used some 10 or so years later for the Classic Superstars Chainsaw charlie figure.. tho it could just be coincidence It's a coincidence. The chainsaw accessory first came with S.T.O.M.P. Series 1 Ahmed Johnson in late December 1997; Terry Funk made his RAW debut as Chainsaw Charlie on December 29, 1997. We've discussed the lack of a BCA Chainsaw Charlie/Terry Funk before in this thread, so here's a bit of a recap: Timing is everything. Chainsaw Charlie debuted on the final episode of RAW in 1997, feuded with The New Age Outlaws heading into WrestleMania XIV, evolved back into Terry Funk shortly thereafter in mid-April 1998, and as Terry Funk wrestled his last match at Fully Loaded in late July 1998, less than seven months after debuting his new gimmick. Chainsaw Charlie's Mini Rings figure (available only in the Survivor Series playset) was released in October 1998, or six-to-seven months clear of his big WrestleMania moment. If there were ever a time for CC to have had a BCA figure, it would have been early in the fall of 1998. However, he was no longer a prominent figure (no pun) on TV and I doubt he was very much of a priority for Jakks or the WWF. Remember, it usually took Jakks six months to pump out a new figure, and time wasn't on Chainsaw Charlie's side. Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie were planned for 2 Tuff series 2 originally but were replaced by Brian Christopher and Lawler. I dont know the exact reason for it, its very likely that Jakks decided they wanted to have a box set with Cactus as the exclusive for a store, which they did with the 3 faces of foley 3 pack for KB Toys. I too was disappointed Chainsaw Charlie wasnt made, as I was that Jake Roberts didnt get made. It's too bad Chainsaw Charlie never got made either. I think an exclusive 2 pack of Chainsaw and Cactus would have been sweet. They did it with Bret/Owen and Razor/Diesel, they could have done it with Cactus and Chainsaw. Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie were scheduled for a 2 Tuff Series 2 release in September/October 1998, but plans changed between late May and early July of that year leading to the Brian Christopher/Jerry Lawler replacement. It's been said that Cactus would have come with S.T.O.M.P. Series 1 Ahmed's club accessory wrapped in barbed wire. Obviously, this news came at a time when the details of the Triple Threat/"Faces of Foley" 3-pack were unknown and the baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire had yet to debut alongside the BCA Cactus Jack figure. I think the prospects of an exclusive Foley set (having all three characters in one place was the perfect way to debut BCA Cactus), as well as the changes made to Foley and Funk's characters on TV, prevented Funk/Charlie from having a 6" figure made in the BCA line.

Just thought I'd post the brunt of the collection here (i swear i have more somewhere just not sure where): Most of em are from childhood, gettin them new or finding them at flea markets later in my teens partriot, vince, crush, farooq, syd, davey boy and yoko are newbies. I love the Yoko figure (for some reason the nipples arent colored). i actually got another one of ebay comin. great price. was listed as "yokosumo". also theres the ring.... i saw Rise and Fall of ECW in 2004... it changed me haha. btw did you guys ever do weird stuff to your rings? i used to hardly ever play with ropes and posts on them (especially the monster ring. i wish i could find mine.) i also tied the ropes in weird ways like triangles n stuff.

Great collection BCA_Bawstud! You could definitely have one helluva Battle Royal with those figures, but who would win? Yoko looks to be either the result of wear and tear or a factory error. If you bought it in used condition, that might explain the missing detail. I was also affected by ECW at a young age, though it happened for me in the year 2000. I remember customizing my Raw Is War Monster Ring and playing with my figures while watching ECW on TNN just about every Friday night. I would wrap all four sides of the ring with Scotch tape as a substitute for real barbed wire because it would stick to the figures without doing them harm. Now, my inner pyromaniac got the better of me on at least one occasion, because I would use a lighter to set small pieces of paper on fire to do a flaming table spot. It's probably a good thing that I didn't have access to lighter fluid at the time. Here's a pic of my Raw Is War Monster Ring next to my then-new Real Scale Ring on April 13th, 2005:

You can just tell that he's up to no good back there. Let's just say I almost succeeded in burning my house down as a kid. I had access to one of those birthday candle lighters and a Grapple Gear Series 1 dumpster that I wanted to watch go up in flames. To all you impressionable preteens out there who may be reading this thread, don't do what I did unless you want a mangled, crispy and black hunk of plastic for your collection, and not the cool kind like Meltman.

Today marks 20 years since Goldust made his on-screen debut against Marty Jannetty at In Your House 4 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To commemorate the occasion, I've put together a list of all of his BCA figure releases made from 1996 to 1999, beginning with the very first Jakks series. Superstars Series 1 (Released June 1996) Survivor Series Limited Edition 4-Pack (Note: Mine has variant Series 2 Vader arms and missing boot detail) (Toys"R"Us Exclusive) (Released November 1996) Superstars Series 1 re-release (with added black trim) on Series 3 card (Released May 1997) Signature Series 1 (with facsimile signature on right thigh) (Released November 1997) Best of '97 Series 2 (on the right) (Toys"R"Us Exclusive) (Released January 1998) Slammers Series 1 (Sorry I don't have a better MOC pic) (Released March 1998) 2 Tuff Series 1 (with Marlena) (Released April 1998) Special Edition Series 2 (KB Toys Exclusive) (Released July 1998) Breakdown: In Your House Singles Series (Released May 1999) Breakdown: In Your House Series 3-Pack (BJ's Wholesale Club Exclusive) (Released May 1999) Breakdown: In Your House Series Superset/4-Pack (Sam's Club Exclusive) (Released May 1999)

Chicago what's your favourite bca figure? I have so many favorites that it's almost unnatural for me to pick just one, but it can be done. For at least five years now, I've said that Backlash Superstars Series 3 Triple H is my favorite. However, I think it's only a matter of time before I admit that Superstars Series 2 Ultimate Warrior is my all-time favorite BCA figure. I think I realized that it was my favorite when I never got tired of looking at Series 2 Warrior listings on eBay. Be they loose or mint on card, I can't get enough of them; I currently own three (two loose, one MOC) and a goal of mine would be to obtain as many as I can one day. This will be me going through my Brian Wilson phase screaming out "50-thousand Series 2 Warriors!!!" lol.
