Unless you consider these monstrosities from my childhood as customs. Top row: Ken Shamrock (as Paul London), Phineas Godwinn (as Yin Yang ), Ahmed Johnson (as K-Kwik/Tha Gangsta) Middle row: B.A. Billy Gunn (as Mikey Whipwreck), "Wildman" Marc Mero (as God knows what lol), "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (as some sort of demented sideshow freak) Bottom row: X-Pac (as "Sean Waltman" a.k.a. the greatest leap of the imagination lol), and the other two are leftover used figures from lots I bought on eBay. ...Yeah, there are far better customs to be found by searching in this thread and elsewhere on the 'net.

who's some wrestlers you'd you all would love to have in BCA form? the re used parts, mildly bad head sculpt, etc etc. in other words figs that look like they were made in 97/98 (or your preferred era but those 2 are the main ones i think of with "BCA").
Id like plenty of japanese wrestlers like Misawa and Kenta Kobashi. also Atsushi Onita haha
it'd also be nice to see some modern day stars like Rollins and Daniel Bryan
tbh it kinda makes me wanna try head sculpts for customs

For those who had feds back in the day, who main evented your shows? For me it was always Patriot vs Bret Hart for the Winged Eagle Title. Mankind (Series 3 version) would often make run-ins. Those were the days... So I'm a little late to this one, but I just discovered the thread and it's got me all nostalgic. Steve Blackman was a big star in my fed... yeah. His figure was too awesome not to use. I usually feuded him against Vader or Hardcore Holly (the first one, I think, with THE table accessory), which always made for great matches. I had a spare Holly figure that occasionally got used as Crash in screwjob finishes. I think my LOD held the tag titles undefeated for the entire BCA era. On the undercard TAKA and X-Pac had a million matches against each other until I finally got Flash Funk to add another high flier to the mix. Great memories.

Partly because I've been watching through Raw episodes from the first half of 1996 and I enjoy seeing the various jobber talent, but also because I would love to fill out a roster with early series BCA figures. For instance, I would like to have seen Jakks' first/only attempt at these guys: Singles: 1-2-3 Kid Aldo Montoya Barry Horowitz Bob "Spark Plug" Holly Duke "The Dumpster" Droese Fatu Isaac Yankem, DDS Jake "The Snake" Roberts King Mabel Tatanka Doubles: The Bodydonnas (Skip, Zip) The Can-Am Express (Doug Furnas, Philip LaFon) The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty, Leif Cassidy) The Smoking Gunns (Bart Gunn, Billy Gunn) The Swat Team (#1, #2) Other: Dok Hendrix Gorilla Monsoon Hillbilly Jim Mr. Perfect Ted DiBiase If I had to narrow those 25 names down to just my Top 5 (including tag teams), this is how I would rank them: 1. Jake "The Snake" Roberts (2-pack with Austin?) 2. 1-2-3 Kid (2-pack with DiBiase?) 3. The Bodydonnas 4. The Smoking Gunns 5. Furnas and LaFon

some great picks XD I can almost perfectly imagine Jake in Superstar Series 1 style. and 1-2-3 kid definetly! re enact the curtain call at home! I woulda love to seen IRS in BCA form. he just seems so perfect for it.
also now that I think about it, I would have LOVED to see fresh to WWF Dudley boyz figs (tie dye!!!). Dudleyz, 2 cool, Re-colored Acolytes (as you've mentioned before), and hardyz (with micheal hayes?)
tryin to think of an off the wall one. Saturn with Moppy. Perfect.

Some Recent pick ups. got this Jakks 96 Monster Ring. its so cool... i had the Raw Monster Ring when i was kid but even then i didnt have for long before one of the post got snapped (i think my grandpa or someone accidently stepped on it or something). so i played with it for years without posts or ropes on it. so its nice to have one with ropes and posts also because it being the first (well... the first non LJN) BCA ring. i had to re tie the ropes cuz they were a lil dangly. also it came with everything shown. buried alive box set figures! (: also came with Remco Road Warriors which is neat. also got these from random lots: Love the Warrior 96 Survivor series recolor. 96 taker and shawn are in super good condition surprisingly. one of takers legs isnt even loose. the grudge pack Vis and Taker smelled like fresh rubber when i got em. so nice. got my first Blue Blazer in one of those lots! I bid on it only a few mins before it ended. it was like $2 listed as "rey mysterio" This is awesome to have.. I'm so tempted to open it. the packaging is kinda damaged. i dunno! also snagged this one : and finally got these: Backlash figs! found these cheap from a seller. the Kane recolor is awesome but jakks why thumbs up arms??? you change the legs and crotch but not the thumbs up arms!?!?! ah well still cool. and I saw this austin in a lot and HAD to have it so i find the cheapest MOC fig i could find (cheaper than any loose version i could find!). probably the best Street Wear Austin Iv seen in the BCA line. (even if the shirt says "GIVL MI A HECK YEAH" i think some lines didnt get printed haha) I kinda wanna open these too. the cardings kinda basic. thoughts? and i got another big lot comin of 46 figs i got on ebay for $20+$15 shipping. I think Im good for a while after that!

I think its time you started collecting customs! It's always a possibility. Maybe once I've picked up all of the BCA repaints I still hope to get, then I'll consider my options. BCA_Bawstud I love it. As I was scrolling down the page, I became more and more impressed at the size and scope of your haul. You've almost certainly hit the motherload, and all of that topped off by the Backlash figures. What more can I say? Your collection will do all the talking for you, but it makes me proud to see others partaking in the hobby to such an extent.

Last week I got the Mattel Hall of Fame Series 2 Yokozuna figure, and if you're a BCA collector you know exactly where I'm going with this. I took some comparison pics of the Mattel Elite and Jakks BCA versions of Yokozuna in his seldom-seen white and black attire. As you may already know, the Mattel WWE Hall of Fame Series 2 Elite Yokozuna figure was released exclusively at Target stores beginning in May/June 2015, and it retails for anywhere from $18.99 to $20.99. The Jakks WWF Special Edition Series BCA Yokozuna figure was a 1 of 18,000 exclusive at KB Toys stores back in August/September 1998, and it originally retailed for $5.99. For the record, I think they both have their pros and cons, but the positives far outweigh the negatives and I would recommend them to collectors of either line. Here is what it says on the bottom of both their feet: Yoko's Left Foot (Mattel):2055OB (in gray) © 2011 Mattel 1186 MJ, 1, NL Yoko's Right Foot (Mattel): TM & © 2011 WWE made in China R6536 CMR69 (in white) Yoko's Left Foot (JAKKS):CHINA Yoko's Right Foot (JAKKS):
© 1997 JAKKS Pacific, Inc. © 1997 Titan Sports, Inc. Just for fun, here are a couple of pics of the Mattel Elite Tag belts with the Jakks BCA Tag belts, as well as one final group shot. Thanks for taking the time to look and/or comment, and I hope the pics didn't take too long to load.

Love finding BCA figures in the wild. Was able to get the red and white tights HBK at a local comic store for 3 bucks in excellent condition. Also have the green ultimate warrior coming in the mail any day now, so the collection continues to grow.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before. But what if the rolls were switched? What if Jakks Pacific had the WCW license instead of Toy Biz? And Toy Biz made WWF figures? What would the first couple series have looked like given the time frame?
WCW Bone Crunching Action could have wound up like this!
Series 1: Sting (Dark Hair) Lord Steven Regal Chris Benoit Hulk Hogan (Real American) The Giant Ric Flair
Series 2: Sting (Repaint) Hulk Hogan (Real American, repaint) Ric Flair (Repaint) Macho Man Randy Savage Steve Mongo McMichael Jim Duggan
Series 3: Sting (Re-release of Series 1) Hulk Hogan (Re-release of Series 1) Ric Flair (Re-release of Series 1) Konnan Lex Luger DDP

In different attires yes absolutely so many to choose from but why the same figure?

Check out the first few series of WWF BCA and you'll see why
