Am I wrong in remembering that the Jarrett with sort hair was nothing more than the new Owen head from Superstars 6? No, you're not wrong. It's true. All of the BCA Jeff Jarrett figures with short hair were just repainted heads of Superstars Series 6 Owen Hart. Imagine WF's reaction if Mattel attempted something like that today...

I'm still not convinced that the "Finishing Moves/Final Count" Y2J was nothing more than an Austin head with long hair! Attachment Deleted

The Kurrgan/Jackyl two-pack is one of the first BCAs I bought last year. I kinda like Kurrgan. The figures are sweet, though.

Just recently got BCA Kurrgan and Jackyl two pack for Christmas. I'm happy Great pack! Here's a pic of mine: If Jakks had darkened The Jackyl's hair a bit and used a flabbier/less-defined torso on Kurrgan, it might just be a perfect BCA era 2-pack. I feel like kicking myself for passing on this pack at $7.00 with free Amazon Prime shipping last year. The Kurrgan/Jackyl two-pack is one of the first BCAs I bought last year. I kinda like Kurrgan. The figures are sweet, though. They really are, aren't they? Deadly Games Series Kurrgan usually gets all of the attention because of the cloth tie-dye shirt, but 2 Tuff Series 2 is the original Kurrgan figure and I think a better representation in the all-black attire.

I love the BCA Yokos! He's one of the ones I want to own. Number one and two right now are probably Inverted Kane and Diesel, but Yoko is definitely top five.

Nice buys maniac80 ! I've always preferred that Mero figure to the original from the Managers Series 2-pack with Sable. I didn't realize until yesterday while watching SummerSlam 1996 that both Mero's Triple Threat 3-pack attire and Sable's Managers 2-pack dress debuted on the same night. Here's a screen grab of Mero's entrance: Also, on a completely unrelated note, I hope I wasn't the only one who thought of this Jakks BCA Vince McMahon figure* during Raw's main event last night: *Dancing pecs not included.

Did you know that there are at least three different variations of the Hardcore Holly figure in the Grudge Match Series 2-pack with Al Snow and Head? Apparently there are and they all have to do with Holly's lower body. The most common version comes with Superstars Series 6 Owen Hart legs and painted black boots: The second most common version, or so I believe it to be, comes with Series 6 Owen legs and painted white boots: The third version, which I would assume is the hardest of the three to find based on a limited sample size, is a near carbon copy of the Road Rage Series Holly figure: The reason I say it is a "near carbon copy" of the Road Rage Series figure is because Holly's left hand is not the same sculpt. By the way, Holly's legs in those last two images are that of a Superstars Series 1 Razor Ramon figure. Strange isn't it? Here's a pic of the Grudge Match Series Holly figure I bought back in 2009 which turned out to be the white boots version: I've always known that mine was a possible variation, but I never knew that there were three or more changes made to this one BCA Holly figure. I don't yet know the order of these variations, if they were exclusive to any stores or if the Razor boots were ever painted white for Holly, but I look forward to finding out.

We'll never really know for sure that we know everything about BCAs, will we?

We'll never really know for sure that we know everything about BCAs, will we? No, probably not, but therein lies the fun of collecting these figures nearly 20 years on. There's always something new to be learned or re-discovered. So much has been forgotten or tossed aside in the memory banks of those who were avid BCA collectors in their day. Myself included, though 99.9% of what I know now came from researching the line over the past eight or nine years, not from my childhood experiences. My guess is that very few of those people who were teenage or adult age collectors back then are ever likely to return to discuss BCA figures on this forum. It would be nice to have a variety of old and new collectors join forces to try and piece together the complete history of the line, but I'm not about to hold my breath.

Chicago: Thats two different sets of arms on that Road Rage Holly and the 2 pack Holly. 2 pack Holly has the Superstars Series 6 Triple H arms, where as Road Rage Holly seems to have the same arms used on Billy Gunn/Road Dogg. Speaking of Hardcore Holly, he had some of my favorite BCA figures. He was a figure that no matter which version I used, he was fun to play with. I had the black boots version from the 2 pack, the Superstars Series 9 figure, and the Backlash figure that was labeled 'Crash Holly'.

I knew that the one arm was different just based on the appearance of the hand, but now I see what you mean in regards to the wrist tape vs. wristbands and overall sculpt of the arms. Triple H's arms are shorter and not as thick as the New Age Outlaws arms, correct? I am an admitted dolt when it comes to differentiating between parts like these. I'm the type who has to have the figures right in front of his face to compare and contrast them. And that's exactly what I'm doing right now with a BCA Triple H and Billy Gunn on either side of me. Quick, somebody get my reading glasses lol.

Its crazy seeing the parts variations. Especially the first series, my brother has a Goldust figure that uses Diesel's legs.

I started off this page (and I still can't believe we're up to number 216) with a post about my recent buys, so why not close it with more of the same? Here are two BCA boxed sets I purchased from a seller on eBay about 10 days ago. The total came to $20.85 shipped, which averages out to $10.43 per set. First is the Rock Bottom Grapple Gear set with an exclusive repaint of The Rock, then we've got the U.S. version of the Special Collection Stone Cold 3-pack. Rock Bottom Grapple Gear Set (Asst. #81705) (K-Mart Exclusive) (Released April 1999)Special Collection Stone Cold Steve Austin 3-pack (Asst. #80678) (Hills Dept. Store Exclusive) (Released October 1998)In this next series of photos, you'll notice there is a design that was not often used on the back of The Rock's trunks in the BCA line. As a matter of fact, I think it's safe to say this blue Brahma Bull head with red eyes and white painted horns was NEVER used again in the same manner. Sure, there were plenty BCA Rock figures with the fully-painted tattoo on his right bicep, but I can't recall any others that feature this exact logo on the back of his trunks. It's a neat little exclusive that likely never gets talked about around here, but I think it's worth checking out. By the way, the other Rock figure pictured on the right is from the 2 Tuff Series 4 2-pack with Mankind (more on that later). As for the Austin boxed set, it's a nice stripped-down collection of his S.T.O.M.P. Series 1, Ripped and Ruthless Series 1 and Superstars Series 4 figures. I mentioned the 2 Tuff Series 4 Rock/Mankind 2-pack earlier, and for good reason - I recently bought it and a whole host of other BCA singles figures from a third-party seller on Amazon this past week. Since I had placed two separate orders, it's a bit difficult to put an official price on the lot, but altogether the total for the 20+ mint figures came to $61.99 shipped. Here goes nothin'... ...and as for the rest of the lot... *wipes sweat off brow* lol Here's one final group shot of the 20 MOC BCA singles figures I purchased (excluding the Rock/Mankind 2-pack and one or two other items) for $61.99 shipped. Thank you for your patience in allowing these pics to load, and I promise there won't be too many more pages as bogged down as this one's been.

theoutlaw1999 I'm really sorry for coming across like a d*ck on this, but there's no reason to quote a bunch of pictures! This isn't the fix up thread! lol! Chicago Feel free to tell me to mind my own business, but do you know if any of these eBay winnings lately came out of Missouri? I only ask because there's a store in Columbia (Slacker's) that sells old toys, cds, game, vinyls, ect. A few months back I went in and they had a good 20-30 MOC BCA's. I forgot about 'em and went in right before Christmas and they were all gone.

I purchased the majority of these items from a seller's personal collection based out of New York, so I doubt it was from that store. I never knew they made a Steve Blackman in wrestling gear. Yep, but only once in the DTA Tour Series 2 assortment. The Razor/Sid arms are really the only drawback to this figure. Otherwise, it's a fairly smart upgrade for Jakks to have made eight months after Blackman's debut figure.
