All of Ahmed's kneepads and elbow pads/arm bands probably took up all of the budget. I know you're joking, but one thing I have to give Jakks credit for is not ever skimping on the details for Ahmed's BCA figures. But...they did skimp out on details. Ahmed's figures never had that extra set of knee pads that he wore on his thighs.

It's what he came to be known for, sure, but that's not what the figure was based on. Plus, they wouldn't have been able to reuse the parts for anyone else had they sculpted an additional set of knee pads, so it worked out in the long run without them.

Interesting. I have never seen a pic of Ahmed without that extra set of knee pads on his thigh before.
Those Ahmed parts really should not have been used for other guys though because nobody else had those kind of boots.

That was a sign of complacency and Jakks should not have gotten away with it for as long as they did.

the is probably the most anyone has talked about ahmed johnson in years lol You think that's odd? I spent several hours fixing up a BCA Diesel figure to look somewhat like Duke "The Dumpster" Droese. I may only use it for display (from the front, because the back looks like trash lol), but it can be played with too. I used a Superstars Series 3 Diesel figure with the Elite 32 Daniel Bryan jumpsuit and some cheap black fabric for the rest of his gear. Threw in one of the more flexible Jakks black baseball caps that I own and a trash can set, and now I've got myself a decent little Droese figure. The best part about it for me is that I can remove all of the materials if I just want my Diesel figure back the way it was, but since I have another Diesel in my collection, I'll probably just leave this one as is. Of all the figures I considered for a quick Droese fix-up, I went with Diesel because he had the hair and boots for it.

Good job! I really like that Dumpster figure. Great use of thd Daniel Bryan jumpsuit. Thanks man. That means a lot coming from you. I had some fun with the leftover packaging from a Sid/Bulldog 2-Pack I received yesterday and put that Droese to good use. If I had it handy, I would have put the CS1 jacket on HHH. Then again, I don't want the material to stain the arms so it's probably better if I don't use it. Speaking of BCA 2-Packs, Amazon has a pretty good deal on 2 Tuff Series 3 Kane and Corporate Mankind. $7.50 with free Prime shipping. Valentine's Day Edit: I saw the price was lowered to $5.50 for that set so you know I had to grab one.

Thinking about picking up a MOC Bret Hart. Like that packaging.

Thinking about picking up a MOC Bret Hart. Like that packaging. I would recommend to you the Best of '97 Series 1 Bret Hart if you can't find the Superstars Series 3 figure in similar packaging. It's the only BCA singles figure release of Bret Hart without the molded-on shades, and it comes with an exclusive Hart Foundation vest.

Ordering that 2 Tuff Series 3 Kane/Corporate Mankind 2-Pack on Amazon the other day took me back to a time when you could find BCA figures online for under $6 each, and what a time it was. In fact, retail websites like eToys.com back in the day were an alternative means to picking up all of the BCA figures that your heart could desire at regular prices. Here's a quick search revealing all the " Wrestling Action Figures" that were stocked by eToys between October and November 1999. I've also included captures up until January 2001, though only the first few links are relevant to this particular thread. I played "fed" with my figures from LJN to the beginning of the ruthless line and by far I had the most fun having a fed with the BCA line. They were easy to play with. I actually thought I was good at playing with these figures lol. My friend and I would alway watch each others fed and storylines. Recon did the best top rope ddt lol. I remember having a royal rumble one time and freakin Thrasher won hahaha

Anyone who's ever played with them knows that you don't want them too loose or too tight; you've just got to work with them in order to find that sweet spot. That sounds awfully dirty, doesn't it? lol
I posted a list of all of Shawn Michaels' BCA figure releases in here about three weeks ago and at that time I mentioned he finished in fifth place overall for the most number of figure releases in the original Jakks BCA figure line. Just ahead of Shawn in the rankings is his good buddy Paul, otherwise known as Hunter Hearst-Helmsley, a.k.a. HHH, a.k.a. Triple H. I took some time earlier today to scoop up as many pics as I could of his BCA figures MIP in the hopes that I could compile a similar list for him, so here goes nothing. Click the spoiler tag below for a look at all of Triple H's original 6" BCA figures from July 1997 to July 2001.July 1997 – Superstars Series 4 “Bad Boys” November 1997 – Signature Series 1 February 1998 – Best of ’97 Series 2 (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) April 1998 – 2 Tuff Series 1 2-Pack with Chyna July 1998 – Special Edition Series 2 (KB Toys Exclusive) July 1998 – WrestleMania XIV Series 1 July 1998 – WrestleMania XIV 4-Pack (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) August 1998 – WrestleMania XIV 3-Pack (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) September 1998 – Grudge Match Series 2-Pack vs. Owen Hart September 1998 – Superstars Series 6 October 1998 – Go Mental 4-Pack (Sam’s Club Exclusive) November 1998 – DTA Tour Series 1 (Wal-Mart Exclusive) November 1998 – Best of ’98 Series 2 (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) December 1998 – D-Generation X 4-Pack (Ames/Meijer Exclusive) February 1999 – Fully Loaded Series 1 February 1999 – Signature Series 3 February 1999 - Signature Series 3 *Variant* February 1999 – Special Edition Series 3 (KB Toys Exclusive) February 1999 – Special Edition Series 3 *Variant* (KB Toys Exclusive) March 1999 – Grudge Match Series 2-Pack vs. Shawn Michaels March 1999 – Over the Edge 4-Pack (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) March 1999 – Over the Edge 4-Pack *Variant* (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) July 1999 – Deadly Games Series August 1999 – DTA Tour Series 3 (Wal-Mart Exclusive) October 1999 – Deadly Games Series 3-Pack (BJ’s Wholesale Club Exclusive) October 1999 – Perfect 10 10-Pack *Version 1 Packaging* (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) October 1999 – Perfect 10 10-Pack *Version 2 Packaging* (Toys”R”Us Exclusive) November 1999 – Special Edition Series 6 (KB Toys Exclusive) December 1999 - Signature Series 6 September 2000 – Backlash Superstars Series 1 (KB Toys/Family Dollar Exclusive) November 2000 – Backlash Superstars Series 2 (KB Toys/Family Dollar Exclusive) March 2001 – Backlash Superstars Series 3 (KB Toys/Family Dollar Exclusive) July 2001 – Backlash Superstars Series 4 (KB Toys/Family Dollar Exclusive)

That's got to be the most unflattering figure ever made of a female wrestler... even if it is Chyna.

That's got to be the most unflattering figure ever made of a female wrestler... even if it is Chyna. I actually like that Chyna has a similar body type as the men (Austin and DX) in Camo Carnage, because it presents her as an equal in strength and size. Definitely not something that you would see done in modern day WWE. Also, Jakks is guilty of far worse head sculpts on women. Take Sable for example: LOL at the price tag. Gone are the days when WWE figures were so cheap. It's more baffling when you see all of the discounted KB tags years later. $3.99 for the Backlash figures? Man, I would have cleaned up on those if I had the chance back then (circa 2000-2001).
