After finally getting the Backlash series 3 Triple H figure, I need to track down Backlash Series 2 now. I remember using that as my main Triple H after I got him when I was a kid.

I think I lucked out when I won Backlash Series 1 and Series 2 Triple H together on eBay several years back. That was somewhat of a rare find for me to nab them both at the same time. Backlash Series 1 Triple H (on the left) reminds me of Christopher Lambert in Mortal Kombat for some strange reason. I think it's the oddly-colored hair, which ages him about 20 years, but not even Raiden had to put up with bright blonde eyebrows. It's definitely not a preferred look for Triple H, what with the charcoal blonde hair, missing "hHh" logo on the back of his trunks and ridiculous Ahmed Johnson lower body. Backlash Series 2 Triple H (on the right) is the better figure with its dark, solid color hair, logo on the back of his tights and the usual HHH mold from top to bottom. Though I'm not sure he ever wore this exact attire at any point during his tights-to-trunks transformation.

I wasn't ready to switch my Triple H to trunks in my fed when I was a kid, but the Backlash 2 figure gave just the right updated look that I wanted for him. It looked cool when having him team with Diesel too.

This is a badass thread. Thanks everyone for all the photographs and information. You're welcome. I actually just went through and updated most of the links that were broken in my older posts, so I hope that makes for a better read. i cant believe some of those backlash figs are kinda sought after now, i had every one of them Moc back in the day & could barely give them away. i still have a few though because i kept my favorite ones Which ones were your favorites? All I still need is the Kane re-release from Series 4 to have a complete set of the original Backlash figures in my collection.
I recently picked up these two items from Amazon and eBay, the latter of which had been a BIG want of mine for many years now. ^ That being the increasingly-hard-to-find "War Zone" variation of Good ol' JR. I'm glad I got this when I did because I just recently passed JR's heel run from late 1996 on the WWE Network and man was that a helluva promo he gave on RAW.

It sure would have been nice to have a BCA Hayabusa figure as good as this custom. Rest in peace Hayabusa - The man, the myth, the legend.

Chicago in 2002 I tried winning a lot of BCA figures that had a custom BCA Kurt Cobain. I can't remember the name of the customizer but he had a page back in the day and I think he was selling all of his customs and regular BCAs in the lot. If you can find an image of that BCA Cobain... well I just might lose it.

If I ever do come across it, I'll post it in here and tag you.

The sleeves on the shirt were sculpted as was most of the head from what I remember. I wish we still had karma on WF because you would be like + a gillion right now lol

Here's something I definitely did not expect to see today: That is a prototype image of the shark cage accessory that was rumored to come with the S.T.O.M.P. Series 2 figures. I came across this image and a few others on the Internet Archive. Unfortunately, it's one of the only links that still works. Something tells me this was previewed around the same time that we saw these S.T.O.M.P. Series 2 prototypes at Toy Fair in February 1998: By the time this series was released to stores in August 1998, the shark cage was nowhere to be found. Jakks instead opted for snap-on scuba gear and weapons:
